#MyMusicMonday: Happy New Year and Happy “My Music Monday” to all of my Tumblr followers! May 2019 be a great year for you all.

I am happy to share with you my first music review of 2019 from “The Spot 518”. I am happy to report the news that I have also become TheSpot518’s first music blogger! I am honored to be a part of this newsweekly for the past few years and now as a blogger. I am looking forward to seeing what could happen for me with this publication as well as the other blogs and news weeklies and blogs that I contribute to such as Nipper Town, The Eastwick Press, and NYS Music!

#HappyBirthdayElvisPresley: Happy Birthday to the “King of Rock & Roll”, Elvis Presley!! Today (1/8/19) would have been Presley’s 84th Birthday! To this day, he continues to make an impact with his music through his legions of fans, musical tributes, festivals,& even impersonations. This past Saturday evening (1/5/19), I attended the annual Elvis Birthday Bash at @hangaronthehudson featuring an excellent musical tribute to Presley by local group, “Johnny Rabb’s Big Band” Ft. Tommy Love on guest vocals. It was certainly a birthday party and musical tribute that was certainly fit for the “King of Rock & Roll”! Be sure to attend this annual event next year at The Hangar On The Hudson or even catch The Lustre Kings’ tribute to Presley this month at a local venue near you! Happy Birthday Elvis Presley! #TuesdaySaveTheDate: Happy Tuesday! Looking for something fun to do post Labor Day and now that college and school is back in session?! Come out to the Eden Cafe in Loudonville, NY on Monday, September 9 for my upcoming event, “Blue Hawaii Happy Hour Music & Art Show With Amy Modesti”. Live music will be performed by my friends in “Kevin Wayne And The Retrobillize” who will be performing their originals and covers, including their new single, “Blue Elvis”!!
