The creative energy was off the graph at the Outpost today. @johnny_irion and @timbluhm jammed some tunes. Why? @grant.ch of @blackwing had stopped by a year ago and we all became instant friends. Hearing that The Doors and Eagles jammed in the shop back in the day. (Mama Cass / Mona’s and Papa’s among others lived next door a couple decades ago and used the Outpost for lots of jam sessions) Grant is part of Blackwing pencils and motived to bring a couple of his favorite musicians by for a jam session now. Why still? Johnny Irion is John Steinbeck’s great nephew and John. (Yes that one) used Blackwing pencils to write some of those classic novels we read. Blackwing is keeping the creative energy alive and today was part of it. We are so stoked to be immersed in the music scene and part of today.
