i would say i’m sorry if i knew that it would change your mind

verbal communication was not johnny lawrence’s strong suit. he tended to be a more action oriented human being. especially when he started bullying daniel larusso, soon after he first arrived in receda. all it took was one black eye to develop around daniels eye, for you to break things off with johnny.

it had only been 2 weeks since he had moved to receda but more fights had arose between you and johnny than you had ever had in your 9 and a half months of dating.

“i’m not dating a bully.” you told him forcefully, your y/c iris’ full of disappointment and animosity, were now trying to dig away at the guilt and hurt in his own.

but i know that this time i’ve said too much been too unkind.

“well it’s not my fucking fault that larusso always gets what he fucking wants! i have nothing left, so if your going to leave me for him that’s fucking fine with me i wouldn’t expect any less! just another brick in the fucking wall.” he spat, now making full eye-contact with you.

johnny immediately knew that he had fucked up but it was too late, your eyes once full of disappointment were now doused in confusion as you didn’t even know who you were talking to at this point. as you bit the inside of your cheek, you turned around and walked the other way not wanting to say another word to johnny as you ventured home.

the moon didn’t shine that night. nor did the stars. the plethora of clouds had made it hardly visible to view the only thing you could count on one hundred percent of the time.

i try to laugh about it , cover it all up with lies.i tried to laugh about it hiding the tears in my eyes.

the next day at school you didn’t look, nor speak to johnny lawrence. he gazed at you from across the halls and lunchroom but it didn’t fix anything.

“johnny what happened between you and y/n?” bobby asked, as he had noticed you hadn’t even acknowledged johnny. johnny laughed bitterly.

“nothing man, we’ve just been off lately, nothing major.” he told the blonde boy as he looked at you, a bright smile on your face as none other than daniel larusso was talking you. joking with you. making you laugh.

johnny glared at the brunette, trying not to let tears form in his eyes.

i would break at your feet and beg for forgiveness, plead with you but i know that it’s too late and there’s nothing i can do.

johnny had came up with a plan to get you back and apologize. he had bought you your favorite flower and was going to surprise you. he even wrote out a thorough thought out apology in hopes that you would forgive him and he could get you back.

soon enough, every fiber in johnny was inflamed with resentment and anger. daniel larusso had his arm wrapped around your shoulder. he was kissing your cheek. and he was complimenting you.

so i tried to laugh about it, cover it all up with lies, i tried to laugh about it cover the tears in my eyes.

that night bobby had called johnny to see how it went.

“so johnny did you get the girl back?” he asked him. johnny chuckled.

“nah man it’s funny cause she wasn’t home. her mom said she was out with her friends so..yeah.” he lied straight through his teeth. the moments of you and daniel playing in your head again. tears soon began to spill uncontrollably.

“woah johnny man, are you crying? hey it’s okay man.” bobby tried to console once again over the phone. soon enough sid, johnny stepfather came up the stairs.

“boy would you quit that racket?! and stop crying like a little girl, cause boys dont cry! you hear me? boys don’t cry!”

i would tell you that i loved you if i knew that it would make you stay but i know that it’s no use and that you’ve already gone away.

johnny knew it from the day he met you, he loved you. he was just waiting for the right time to say it. however he never got to. daniel had taken you from him faster than a blink of an eye. it was too late. he wasn’t getting you back and he knew it. what was the point?

misjudged your limit, pushed you too far, took you for granted, thought that you needed me more.

johnny didn’t know when enough was enough. so when you broke up with him, he was distraught. he never really understood what he was missing till you were gone and far far from his reach and in daniels now. johnny truth be told couldn’t live without you, and unfortunately he had to find that out the hard way.

now i would do most anything to get you back by my side

johnny tried, and tried to get you to talk to him, and hear him out. but there was no use. you were happier with daniel. and he knew that and understood he had to come to terms with it as well. even if it was going to be hard. he valued your happiness over everything and if that happiness came from someone that wasn’t it, then so be it.

but i just keep on laughing, hiding the tears in my eyes

on the surface johnny seemed okay. he seemed as if he had moved on. sensei kreese had taught him to channel all his grief and anger into karate and cobra kai but within every laugh was hidden tears. because we all know. boys don’t cry.

A = Affection (How affectionate are they?)

Johnny is pretty affectionate, physically and verbally. I feel like he’s one of those people who is also big on PDA. 

B = Beauty (what do they admire their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?)

Your boldness and fire. You aren’t going to take things lying down and you’ll stand up for yourself no matter how big or intimidating someone may be.

C = Cuddling (how do they like to cuddle?)

I feel like Johnny would be into the basic head on chest cuddle or the koala bear cuddle.

D = Dates (what does their ideal date with you look like?)

Golf n Stuff, movies, arcade, taking drives, and bike rides. All those things are your usual date nights.

As affectionate and open as Johnny may be with your relationship. Drawing his more heavy emotions out of him are a struggle.

This dude is extremely stubborn, so you both would probably end up giving each other the silent treatment. But he’s the first one to talk out of the two of you.

Extremely gentle with you emotionally and physically.

Most likely holds your hand a lot whether it be because he wants to or because he wants to send a message telling everyone that you’re together.

Would seem calm and collected on the outside but is screaming on the inside. Tries to calm you down and wants to kill the person if someone else hurt you.

Gets easily jealous, feels the urge to punch the person who is flirting with you in the face.

Kisses with Johnny are pretty passionate yet sweet.

He’ll show his love physically but more verbally than anything. His favorite part about your dates are the moments were you two will just talk about anything and everything. Mostly because it gives him the opportunity to give you so many compliments and flirts it’ll make your head spin.

The first time he met you, Dutch being Dutch was aggravating the fire out of you during a party you had both been invited to. You ended up throwing your drink in his face before storming off. His heart skipped a beat when you passed by him. He was determined right then and there to get into a relationship with you.

You’re usually out either at the beach or the hills. You’ll admire the view and environment and just talk with one another.

Feelings for you wise, he’s very open with how he feels. But things with his family and other troubles plaguing him are a bit harder for him to reveal.

He’s never that usually angered by you. The only fights you really ever have are regarding his jealousy and when it involves that he can get pretty defensive.

Besides dates his favorite way to spend time with you is when you go out on his motorcycle. (Mostly because of the iron grip you have on him whenever he speeds up.)

He’s romantic and he’s pretty cliché too. I feel like he’s the kind of person to throw the cheesy “The most beautiful view I see is you” line.

He’s pretty protective (maybe sometimes overprotective.) If someone insults you or looks at you the wrong way they better run because they won’t only have you coming after them but him too

T = Time (how long did it take you to get together?)

Only because of they way you met it took you two a month or two to get together. 

U = Upset (how do they act when you’re upset?)

He’ll try to comfort you as much as possible or if you’re just too upset to talk he’ll hold you and ride out the storm of your emotions.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

He’s definitely the type of person to spend an hour on there hair alone. He’s prideful in his looks and will do everything possible to impress you with them.

W = Wildcard (random headcannon)

Dutch had been poking and prodding you the entire night. All you wanted to do was go to a party with your friends and have a relaxing time. But Dutch had other ideas.

“I swear to god if you touch me one more time you are going to end up on your ass.” You hissed slapping his hand away. 

He began to laugh at you, before getting his friends attention. There was a blonde boy looking over at him apprehensively. “You hear that John, they’re going to knock me on my ass.”

“Dutch just leave them alone.” He said tensely.

“I’d love to see you try to sweetheart.” He replied ignoring Johnny, he bent down to your level giving me a playful pout. “You couldn’t do anything to me if you tried hon-”

His sentence ended in a sputter due to your drink being thrown in his face.

“Douchebag.” You grumbled before walking away.

“What a firecracker...” Johnny mumbled as he watched you stomp out of the house.

It was supposed to be your day, your celebration. Here you are, tapping your fingers on the wood of the bar table when he walks in. Johnny fuckin’ Lawrence.

It had been five years since you’d entered the Copper Bucket Bar in Reseda, your old hangout spot with Johnny. Unfortunately, five years still wasn’t enough time for him to find a new place to drink.

“Holy shit, (y/n)! I didn’t know you still hung around Reseda! Thought maybe you’d be living in a ritzy apartment in West Hollywood by now,” he hollered, stumbling towards you. Johnny was the only person who’d come to the bar already tipsy.

“What can I say, I missed the CB. Made the drive down to Reseda to celebrate a new job offer,” you explained hastily, throwing back your drink as Johnny sat down next to you.

“Well congratulations, hotshot! What’s the job for? Walmart greeter? Ooh, ooh, maybe a stripper?” Johnny half-kidded.

There was a lull of silence as the bartender slid you another vodka cranberry. “Is this man bothering you?” he asked.

“Jesus, don’t you remember us? We used to come here all the time, she was my girl,” he explained in a softer tone.

“It’s for Vice President of Distribution at Sony, actually.”

“That sounds like a bullshit job. Wait, like the Sony?”

“Yep. It’s my ticket to the top, like I always wanted,” you mumbled, knocking back your drink.

When you broke up with Johnny five years ago, things were so much different. You had dropped out of college and just hung out at bars, half-naked and desperate for attention. The first few years you spent with Johnny felt like you were on Cloud Nine. You would get drunk every night, have sloppy sex, wake up and repeat the cycle.

After you had your first pregnancy scare, you vowed to clean up your act and go back to school like your family had been begging all along. You and Johnny had a nasty fight about it that had ended with him shoving you into the wall. Johnny thought you wanted to leave him, that you were too good for him and his lowly lifestyle.

You were tired of his drinking and thought you both could use some betterment. Maybe you even had a shot to make it out and start a family, for real. But the bottle won over Johnny and you left for good.

“For the record, I always knew you had it in you. You’re a fighter, you’re badass. I’m proud of ya,” Johnny said, with an ounce of guilt in his voice as he began to sober up a bit.

“Thanks, Johnny. It really is good to see you. What’s been going on in your life lately? I tried to find you on Facebook a couple years back but I didn’t have any luck m,” you explained, sipping on your third vodka cran.

“I actually just opened a karate dojo, and I’ve got ten students so far. They’re good kids, you’d love ‘em.”

“That’s amazing, I’m glad you’re back into karate again. I’d love to come to your next practice and see them in action,” you suggested.

“I’m not sure, I don’t want them asking too many questions about my personal life,” Johnny shrugged.

He ordered one Coors Banquet (some things never change) from the bartender, and you thought about Johnny’s new life. You wondered if he was seeing Robby again, but you didn’t want to pry.

“So, uh, any new men in your life?” Johnny asked subtly, taking a swig of water.

“Nah, the men in this industry are real jerks. I prefer the blue collar kind,” you laughed, moving to nudge Johnny’s shoulder. You lost your balance and fell forward towards Johnny’s chest.

“Woah woah, are you drunker than I am?” he laughed, playing it off as he lifted your torso off of him, helping you sit upright.

“Maybe. I don’t even think I want this job anyway. My life has taken a tumble since I broke things off with you. I tried dating apps b-but everyone on there is a prick. I miss you, Johnny,” you sniffled.

You gestured for another drink and the bartender brought it right over.

“The chick is drunk, okay? Don’t you stop serving people when they’re intoxicated? Jesus, what a bunch of pussies,” Johnny groaned.

“I-I think I should go. I’ll talk to you later, Johnny,” you said, downing your drink. You climbed off your barstool to leave and wobbled a bit.

“Hey, hey wait, how ‘bout you let me drive you home and we’ll come back in the morning to get your car,” he sighs, wrapping his arm around your waist to keep you steady.

“Johnny I’m so sorry I was a bitch to you, I love you. I’m a mess without you,” you cried.

“It’s just the alcohol talking, you’ll be home soon,” he laughed sadly, putting you in the passenger seat of his new Dodge Charger.

There has been a lot of drama recently with Cobra Kai and Eagle Fang and Miyagi-do. So it was nice to just sit down and have a sleepover with your best friend. You and Eli had gotten to know each other when you had decided to go visit you dad.

“Y/n?” Johnny said as he saw you outside the Cobra Kai dojo. You had changed a lot since the last time he had seen you.

“Hey...Mom’s kinda out of town and I’m not sure with Robby’s job we will be able to pay the bills..So can you do your job as a Father and maybe pay?” You said as you fiddled with your thumbs. It took a lot of courage and strength to make you come here and ask your dad for help.

“Of course kid.” It was safe to say that your father was still not the perfect dad. He had pushed and blamed everything on your brother Robby, but at least he was trying. He may not be perfect but he tried. You saw that unlike Robby, that’s why you had gotten so close to him.

“It has been a pretty shitty year hasn’t it?” Hawk said as he looked for the movie the both of you wanted to watch.

He was right. Your brother had gotten into juvie, the one place he promised he would never go when he started hanging out with those criminal friends of his. Everywhere you seemed to go people blamed Robby and it was eating you up inside. You thought that Hawk out of everyone would see that.

“Just wish Robby had learned how not to be a complete asshole.” Hawk said as you whipped your head around to face him.

“Don’t say that!” You yelled as you shoved him a little. The topic of your brother was still a sore spot for you and he knew that.

“Robby didn’t mean for any of this to happen! He was sacred and if the same thing happened to you, you would have done the same thing! Stop blaming him like everyone else does!” You yelled as you felt a tear escape your eye and roll down your cheek.

“I’m sorry...Can you hug me now?” Hawk asked as he saw your tears. He didn’t mean to get you this upset. He still had not forgiven Robby for what he did to Miguel.

You chuckled at his resspone and leaned over to give him a hug. No matter what obstacles ever faced your way, you had your best friend to help you through it all. He had been there when Robby had left, he was there when you tried to get closer to your dad and he was here now. That had to mean something right? Your thought process was stopped by the impact of a pillow. That was the start of a pillow fight war.

“Oh it’s on!” You laughed as you began to smack him with a pillow in retaliation for his attack. It went on for a while, the both of you having a full blown pillow fight before you laughed as clospased to the mountain of pillows the two of you had gotten when your war was going on. You were glad that you had gotten to spend this kind of fun with your friend. It seemed that ever since Cobra Kai opened up, fun had been taken away from the Valley.

“I’m so lucky to have you by my side.” Hawk said as the both of you laid in the mess of pillows. You were his best friend and  you had even stuck with him when he had gone through his bully faze. You were his anchor and the sole person he could alway count on. You meant a lot to him.

“You know-” You said as you turned to look at him. “-this year hasn’t been all that great but I’m really glad I gotta share it with you.” 

“Really?”

“Really!” You said with a laugh as you both looked into each other's eyes. Dark brown eyes meet E/c eyes. The most perfect match in the entire universe.

“I’m lucky to have you Hawk.” You said as you touched his hand. You both needed each other and depended on each other and that's totally fine.

A/N: hi!!! I know you requested this so long ago.. I’m so sorry this took so long. You are so allowed to be mad at me 🤣 but anyways!! Thank you for your patience and being awesome! I hope you like it!

You were always very easy going and honestly, so was your best friend, Daniel Larusso.

You and him immediately became friends on his first day of school. You saw him getting pushed around by Johnny Lawrence and his group of minions which made you feel bad for him. After they finished their petty and, shall I say, needless bullying you approached the lanky brunette.

“Hey, need a hand?”

“Nah, I’m good. Thanks,” the brown haired boy waves you off.

“C’mon, let me at least clean this up for you,” you take out your small first aid kit and start cleaning up the small cut on Daniel’s temple.

Daniel hisses when you disinfect the wound, “Shit, sorry dude!”

“It’s okay,” Daniel slightly chuckles.

You finish up and help Daniel stand back up.

“I’m Y/N,” you reach out your hand and Daniel shakes it.

“Hey, I’m Daniel. Daniel Larusso.”

You smile, “Cool! So, Daniel, first day huh?”

“Couldn’t tell?”

“Um, no. It’s kinda blatantly obvious,” you laugh, “but already getting caught up in Lawrence and his goons probably wasn’t your best decision.”

Daniel scratches the back of his neck signaling he was feeling uncomfortable with the conversation, “Yeah, I don’t think it was either.”

You two smile at each other and you say, “Need me to show you around?”

Daniel stares at you for a second debating if he should or not. He didn’t want any more trouble with anybody.

He decides to throw all the cons out the window and answers, “Yeah! Sure!”

You two started to become closer and closer with each other with each passing month. Him going over to your house and you going over to his, that is when he wasn’t training for karate. He told you about how he was gonna beat Johnny Lawrence’s ass; you supported his decision on learning karate. He had to take up for himself sooner or later.

But whenever he had the time you two would spend time together and after awhile you felt yourself starting to develop feelings for him. You were pretty sure those feelings weren’t reciprocated because you were just friends so you stuffed your feelings deep down so you wouldn’t ruin your friendship with him.

After school one day Mr.Miyagi gave Daniel the day off so he could hang out with you and give him a break. You two decided to go bike riding and pick up some burgers. After you both ate you two were riding back home when you were cut off by Johnny and his asshole friends.

“Well, well, well,” Johnny walked up to Daniel and leans over the bike rail, “Larusso has girlfriend.”

“Leave me alone,” Daniel leans back a bit on his bike.

Johnny mocks in the best girly voice he can muster, “Leave me alone.”

“Guys, really. We’re not bothering any of you. Can we just drop this stupid rivalry for one day?” You say rolling your eyes.

Daniel looks at you with concern, “Don’t, Y/N. Go home.”

You shake your head and stand your ground.

“Oh! She speaks!” Johnny laughs and looks at his friends and then looks back at you with narrow eyes, “No.”

“Get him!” One of Johnny’s friends yells and they grab Daniel and restrain him while Johnny starts punching him.

You scream, “Let him go!”

You run up to Johnny and try to grab his wrist but in the heat of the moment Johnny elbows you square in the jaw.

“Y/N!” You hear Daniel yell.

You fall down to the ground cupping your face as you start to feeling your anger rise. You look at Johnny with pure steam coming out of your ears and run to your backpack to get your taser out.

You walk up to Johnny with heavy steps, you gather all the strength you can and grab Johnny in a chokehold, and put the taser to his neck and turn it on.

“What the fuck!” Johnny exclaims out of the surpise.

Johnny’s friends drop Daniel to the ground and Daniel lies there holding his side. You let the trigger go and the taser stops.

“I suggest you motherfuckers get the Hell out of here before I taze his ass!” You scream.

Johnny fights you off getting out of your grip, “You’re a crazy bitch!”

“Crazy? Maybe. Bitch? Absolutely not!” You turn the taser on again and start screaming at them with all your might causing the boys to get on their bikes and speed away from you.

“Y/N, holy shit! That was–that–”

You give Daniel a small smile, “You’re welcome. Let’s get you home, yeah? My house is closer so we’ll go there.”

Daniel weakly nods his head and you two ride to your complex.

You throw Daniel’s arm over your shoulder and help him into your families apartment and you two go straight to your room. You lead Daniel to the bed and he lays down groaning.

You run down stairs and get a few small ice packs and wrap them with wash cloths and hand a few to Daniel. You put one on your eye and you sit down on the bed with Daniel.

“Johnny Lawrence is such an asshole! No wonder you’re doing karate.”

Daniel laughs, “Yeah, he’s a dick. I’m so sorry he hit you,” Daniel raises his hand up and puts his on yours and you immediately get chills from his touch.

You shake your head, “No. I’m okay. Don’t worry. How are you holding up?”

Daniel raises up on the bed and slowly pulls his shirt up and your eyes grow wide, “Oh man, they got you good,” you touch his ribs softly and Daniel sucks in his breath.

“Oh–sorry,” you look away.

“It’s okay. Just hurts,” you can tell Daniel is holding back tears.

You nod your head and look down at your hands starting to pick your nails. You see Daniel’s hand caress yours to make you stop picking and you look up at him.

Daniel takes the lead and kisses you, surprised you pull away quickly.

“Oh, Dan–”

“No! I’m sorry! I just thought–”

“No–”

“Y/N,” Daniel looks at you and you at him.

“Yeah?”

“I like you.”

Your eyes stare deeper into his searching for an answer but you never found one. You too afraid to tell him how you felt. For some reason you thought he’d be joking with you. You were all just a big joke to him.

You sigh throwing caution to the wind, “I like you too. I have for a long time.”

Daniel gets a big smile on his face, “Really?”

You chuckle happily, “Yeah! Really!”

Daniel leans in again and you two connect lips. You could practically feel his heart pounding and yours too as he cups your cheek. You two pull away from each other trying to catch your breath. You both smile.

You couldn’t believe that you and your best friend had just kissed. But you were so damn happy that you did.

And maybe through the parts we see their relationship with one another and how the age gap effects not only them but those around them. maybe some sexual instances and there's some angst in there due to how people view the relationship and how it especially effect Y/N, pls?. sry if it's too much”

A/N: Quite a few of you requested for a part 2 to the story “Just a Number” and since the request mentioned the story and its similarities, I decided to extend the story into a series using this prompt. I thought long and hard about it and it seemed to blend well together, this can also be read as a separate story from the original “Just a Number,” in the event you guys don’t like the idea of blending them together 😅 Either way, I’m happy to be writing imagines again and I missed Johnny! I hope you guys enjoy the series!

“Babe - ” you busted out laughing, “I’m not posting that.”

“Why,” He started to laugh, “Not cool?”

“Definitely not, but I’m still saving it.” You smiled.

Since the first kiss, your relationship with Johnny Lawrence has been an 80s daydream in the best of ways. The anxiety of the age difference quickly diminished which allowed room for the two of you to spend more time enjoying each other’s company more intimately. In fact, Johnny actually gave you the title of “Media Manager” over both the Cobra Kai website and Instagram page. Over the course of almost a year now, you’ve updated the website and uploaded many videos and pictures to the Instagram to keep it fresh and intriguing. Within this time frame, the two of you have spent time with each other, both becoming the other’s missing puzzle piece.

There have been many nights where you’ll cook for Johnny, he loves your cooking, he calls you his “hot chef.” But he’s thrown down in the kitchen for you, surprisingly much better in the kitchen than on the grill - the bald spots on the grass of the public park’s grilling area serves as proof. He’s also your go-to handy man, which is great because you don’t have to pay for someone to fix your many broken things and you also get to stare at Johnny’s flexed muscles all day, which he is 100% aware of. As far as the dojo is concerned, things have been running smoothly and because of your new title, you’ve been able to spend more time with him and even interact with the kids.

Currently, you’ve been working with Johnny on fun and enticing advertisements for this week’s competition and he’s been very excited about it.

“Should I do a different pose? What about this one?” Johnny leaned on the wall, tilting his head up and to the side, his hand hugging his elbows.

You tried to hold back a giggle, “Johnny no c’mon, I really think a shot of all the kids would be much more appropriate.”

Johnny quickly came out of position. “Alright fine, we’ll get a shot of them tonight after practice.”

“Sounds good.” You smiled, linking your arm between his as he walked over to you with his elbow extended out.

“In the meantime, let’s get some lunch, freakin’ starving.” 

“Even better.” You grinned as the two of you continued down the sidewalk.

After lunch, the two of you made your way to the dojo, arriving a lot earlier than you usually do. Plenty of time for a number of things to happen...

By 6:00, the punctual kids started to make their way into the dojo. As Johnny’s favorite student started to make his way in, he was quickly pulled by one of his Mohawked friends. 

“Hey -” Miguel protested

His friend quickly hushed him. “Do you hear that?” 

Miguel listened intently, scanning the room filled with scattered groups of blushing whispering teenagers. 

“Listen -” He paused. “I think someone’s in Sensei’s office fooling around.” Hawk whispered

Miguel glanced back at the office, now able to hear the quiet feminine moans and the deep groans from a masculine voice. The kid’s cheeks started to heat up, much like his peers. 

“Who would break into Sensai’s office like that?”

Hawk shrugged. “Should we tell Sensai?”

Before the boy could respond an audible “Shit!” was hissed behind the door of the office, followed by an “Oh fuck it’s 6:20!” and loud scrambling of what the teenagers assumed to be office supplies scrambled along the desk and dropping to the floor. 

The teenagers exchanged uncomfortable glances before the office door opened to a disheveled Sensai wiping his jaw and his girlfriend smoothing out the length of her dress. Now it was your turn for your cheeks to burn as you quickly glanced at the young eyes staring right at you, putting two and two together. 

Johnny attempted to shake off the awkwardness.

“QUIET!” Johnny cut the already very silent room before they can put together a filthy image of you in their heads. 

“Line up.” Johnny demanded as he made his way to the front of the room. He tried to get back into the Sensai mindset though his brain was scrambling on how to move past this awkward moment while also trying to maintain his previous excitement that continued to strain itself against his clothes.

By the end of practice, the awkwardness vanished and you were able to round up the kids for a fun photo opportunity. You did some funny and serious ones, some with Johnny and some without, plenty of photos to choose from which made you and the rest of the dojo excited. The kids were really looking forward to the competition. You started editing the photos to post while the kids started to say their goodbyes to each other and head out the door. You waved bye to the few of them before heading into the office, Johnny’s eyes following your every move until you disappeared into the room.

Just before Miguel made a foot out the door, he was roughly grabbed by the backpack and yanked back, stunned to meet his Sensai’s stern face.

“Uh - yes Sensai?” 

“What did you hear?” Johnny asked bluntly.

“What do you mean?”

“You didn’t hear anything?” Johnny raised a brow.

“Sensai I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about-” He gulped.

“Don’t bullshit me Diaz,” Johnny made a scrunchy face of denial, “You didn’t hear any funny business behind closed doors-”

“You mean-” 

Johnny raised daring brows.

Miguel nodded, seeking permission. “The -” 

Johnny squinted his eyes.

“The - “ Miguel’s eyes widened, “...noises-”

“Alright - get out of here!” Johnny released the boy with a shove. 

You walked out of the office, watching as the teenager scrambled away, fumbling with the door. You walked toward Johnny who was shaking his head. The two of you were now the last in the dojo.

“What’s up?” You asked.

He huffed in his hands before placing them back to his sides. “Nothin.’ Just talking to the kid.” Johnny walked closer to you, reaching around your waist and pulling you closer to him. The two of you smiled at each other before he planted a soft kiss on your lips once, twice and now tracing his kisses up your jaw and towards your ear.

He whispered, “Care to finish what we started?” You could hear the smirk in his voice.

You giggled, “Johnny - we can’t be doing that here anymore, look what happened today.”

Johnny pulled away from your figure. Huffing, he nodded his head. “Yeah that was bad. But they’re old enough -”

“Johnny!”

“I’m kidding!” He laughed

You made a face, knowing damn well he was only partially kidding. 

“I don’t want that to happen again, that was embarrassing for me and I’m sure the kids were uncomfortable by that too.” 

“Alright well we’ll be more careful next time.” He assured, pulling you closer to him. Your hands rested firm on his abs to stop him.

“No. No next time, I’m serious.”

He groaned, pulling away again, “C’mon Y/N!”

“No! I mean for one thing, the windows are transparent as hell!” You pointed to the front windows, Johnny following your finger.

He whipped back at you, “Alright yeah, I’ll start closing the blinds before and after practice but that’s why we have the office!” He pleaded.

“That’s not why.” You couldn’t help but laugh at his needy plea.

He groaned, defeated. Finally tugging you closer to him, now chest to chest. “Let’s just discuss this later alright? Moving forward - we’ll figure it out, but right now, there are some pressing matters that still need finishing.” Before you could ask, Johnny lifted you over his shoulder, ignoring the delighted shriek from you as he walked the two of you towards the office, kicking the door behind you.

As the day of the competition unfolds, Johnny finds himself frustrated between the highly anticipated match & the highly annoying men flirting with his girlfriend. In an attempt to be present for both his students and yourself, he grabs the attention of opinionated parents that grow very unhappy with the sight of an older man with a woman half his age. Gossip stirs and erupts into a fight - perhaps the thought of the age-gap relationship shouldn’t have been dismissed so quickly...

i would say i’m sorry if i knew that it would change your mind

verbal communication was not johnny lawrence’s strong suit. he tended to be a more action oriented human being. especially when he started bullying daniel larusso, soon after he first arrived in receda. all it took was one black eye to develop around daniels eye, for you to break things off with johnny.

it had only been 2 weeks since he had moved to receda but more fights had arose between you and johnny than you had ever had in your 9 and a half months of dating.

“i’m not dating a bully.” you told him forcefully, your y/c iris’ full of disappointment and animosity, were now trying to dig away at the guilt and hurt in his own.

but i know that this time i’ve said too much been too unkind.

“well it’s not my fucking fault that larusso always gets what he fucking wants! i have nothing left, so if your going to leave me for him that’s fucking fine with me i wouldn’t expect any less! just another brick in the fucking wall.” he spat, now making full eye-contact with you.

johnny immediately knew that he had fucked up but it was too late, your eyes once full of disappointment were now doused in confusion as you didn’t even know who you were talking to at this point. as you bit the inside of your cheek, you turned around and walked the other way not wanting to say another word to johnny as you ventured home.

the moon didn’t shine that night. nor did the stars. the plethora of clouds had made it hardly visible to view the only thing you could count on one hundred percent of the time.

i try to laugh about it , cover it all up with lies.i tried to laugh about it hiding the tears in my eyes.

the next day at school you didn’t look, nor speak to johnny lawrence. he gazed at you from across the halls and lunchroom but it didn’t fix anything.

“johnny what happened between you and y/n?” bobby asked, as he had noticed you hadn’t even acknowledged johnny. johnny laughed bitterly.

“nothing man, we’ve just been off lately, nothing major.” he told the blonde boy as he looked at you, a bright smile on your face as none other than daniel larusso was talking you. joking with you. making you laugh.

johnny glared at the brunette, trying not to let tears form in his eyes.

i would break at your feet and beg for forgiveness, plead with you but i know that it’s too late and there’s nothing i can do.

johnny had came up with a plan to get you back and apologize. he had bought you your favorite flower and was going to surprise you. he even wrote out a thorough thought out apology in hopes that you would forgive him and he could get you back.

soon enough, every fiber in johnny was inflamed with resentment and anger. daniel larusso had his arm wrapped around your shoulder. he was kissing your cheek. and he was complimenting you.

so i tried to laugh about it, cover it all up with lies, i tried to laugh about it cover the tears in my eyes.

that night bobby had called johnny to see how it went.

“so johnny did you get the girl back?” he asked him. johnny chuckled.

“nah man it’s funny cause she wasn’t home. her mom said she was out with her friends so..yeah.” he lied straight through his teeth. the moments of you and daniel playing in your head again. tears soon began to spill uncontrollably.

“woah johnny man, are you crying? hey it’s okay man.” bobby tried to console once again over the phone. soon enough sid, johnny stepfather came up the stairs.

“boy would you quit that racket?! and stop crying like a little girl, cause boys dont cry! you hear me? boys don’t cry!”

i would tell you that i loved you if i knew that it would make you stay but i know that it’s no use and that you’ve already gone away.

johnny knew it from the day he met you, he loved you. he was just waiting for the right time to say it. however he never got to. daniel had taken you from him faster than a blink of an eye. it was too late. he wasn’t getting you back and he knew it. what was the point?

misjudged your limit, pushed you too far, took you for granted, thought that you needed me more.

johnny didn’t know when enough was enough. so when you broke up with him, he was distraught. he never really understood what he was missing till you were gone and far far from his reach and in daniels now. johnny truth be told couldn’t live without you, and unfortunately he had to find that out the hard way.

now i would do most anything to get you back by my side

johnny tried, and tried to get you to talk to him, and hear him out. but there was no use. you were happier with daniel. and he knew that and understood he had to come to terms with it as well. even if it was going to be hard. he valued your happiness over everything and if that happiness came from someone that wasn’t it, then so be it.

but i just keep on laughing, hiding the tears in my eyes

on the surface johnny seemed okay. he seemed as if he had moved on. sensei kreese had taught him to channel all his grief and anger into karate and cobra kai but within every laugh was hidden tears. because we all know. boys don’t cry.
