You should do a enemies to lovers kind of thing. Like Johnny and the reader are enemies but everyone knows they like each other. The reader is like this girly rich girl and she acts disgusted by Johnny when in reality, you know😭 It can be a smut or whatever, I’ just loving the Johnny five you’re feeding us
All attitude, no brains(pt 1?)
Summary: Johnny and the reader really "hate" each other...
Warnings: Drinking, smut
Word Count: 8.2k
The sun’s dipping low over the California coastline, painting the sky orange and pink. Music’s blaring from a boombox someone set up near the volleyball net, and the Cobra Kai crew is camped out on the sand. Johnny Lawrence leans against his dirt bike, arms crossed, a cocky grin on his face as he surveys the scene. He’s got his trademark swagger, a little smirk that makes people either love him or hate him—and he’s used to both.
Across the beach, she’s perched on a striped lounge chair, sipping from a soda can with a straw, legs crossed, looking like she just walked out of some glossy magazine ad. Her laugh cuts through the music, light and sweet, and for a second, Johnny’s eyes linger.
“Man, you’re staring again,” Tommy says, nudging him in the ribs. “You gonna make a move or just keep drooling?”
Johnny shoves him off with a scoff. “Yeah, right. Like I’d waste my time on her.”
Tommy grins. “Sure, bro. Whatever you say.”
Meanwhile, over on her side of the beach, the teasing isn’t much different.
“Johnny Lawrence, really?” one of her friends says with a dramatic eye roll. “That guy’s a total tool. All attitude, no brains.”
She shrugs, tilting her sunglasses down to glance his way for half a second. “He’s harmless. Besides, I’ve got better things to worry about.”
“Uh-huh,” her friend says, smirking. “So that’s why you’re practically blushing every time he looks over here?”
Before she can come up with a snarky comeback, Johnny saunters over, his hands shoved in his pockets, the picture of smug confidence. His friends stay back, watching with grins on their faces like they already know how this is gonna go.
“Hey, Princess,” Johnny says, stopping just close enough to tower over her a little. His voice is dripping with mockery, but there’s a glint in his eye that’s hard to miss. “You having fun slumming it with the rest of us, or did Daddy cut off your country club allowance?”
She looks up at him, unfazed, and arches an eyebrow. “Funny. I didn’t realize the beach came with free entertainment. You’re like a walking punchline.”
His grin widens, and he steps a little closer. “You think you’re real cute, don’t you?”
She stands, dusting off her skirt, and meets his gaze with a smirk of her own. “I don’t think, Johnny. I know. And trust me, I wouldn’t waste my time trying to impress you.”
The tension between them is as thick as the ocean air, but neither of them breaks. Around them, their friends are stifling laughter, exchanging knowing looks like this is the most predictable thing they’ve ever seen.
Johnny leans in slightly, his voice low so only she can hear. “You keep telling yourself that, Princess. But we both know you’d miss me if I wasn’t around.”
She doesn’t respond right away—just gives him a look that says he might be right. Or maybe he’s just imagining it.
“Keep dreaming, Lawrence,” she says, brushing past him, but the faintest smile tugs at her lips.
And Johnny? He’s already grinning, watching her walk away.
Over the next few weeks, Johnny and the girl find themselves in a strange kind of routine. They don’t hang out, and they don’t exactly avoid each other either. They just sort of… orbit around each other, like two planets that can’t quite decide whether to collide or keep their distance.
Every time they cross paths, it's like a battle of wits, a game of trying to outdo each other with the wittiest comebacks or the most sarcastic remarks.
The sun blazes over the school parking lot, it's the first week of senior year and everyone is buzzing. Their friend groups are close in proximity, She pretends he’s not there. He pretends he’s not staring.
Johnny’s leaning against the hood of his car, sunglasses on, arms crossed. His friends are next to him, throwing around a ball, teasing him about something—but he’s not paying attention. His eyes are locked on her, watching the way she laughs with her friends, the sunlight catching in her hair.
"Oh yea, you really hate her" Bobby teases, noticing Johnny staring. The rest of the cobra's join in on the giggles.
Johnny snaps out of it, tearing his eyes away from her to glare at his friends. “Shut up, man. You wouldn’t know the first thing about women.”
His friends just grin wider, shoving him playfully. They know.
Dutch leans in closer, loving how easy it is to get under his skin. They all knew he didn't really hate her. "And what dont we know, exactly?" Dutch adds fuel.
"Look, just… lay off, alright? I don’t wanna hear it." Johnny looks back at her, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. He can’t help it. She’s just so goddamn infuriating and charming at the same time.
She steals a look at him, blushing when their eyes meet. She quickly looks away, she hated how easy it was for her to crumble under his gaze. "Slick, really slick" one of her friends teased, she shot her a glare that could kill.
Johnny’s lips curve into a cocky grin. He knows she’s looking and he loves every second of it. He gives a little salute, winking before turning back to his boys.
Bobby raises an eyebrow. “You two are so full of it. Just admit it already.”
Johnny shoves him away, scoffing. “Admit what?”
"That you love how she can give it back to you, you want her bad" Bobby exclaims, the bell rings and they begin to head inside.
Johnny scoffs. “She’s a snob, a total know-it-all. No way I’d want to be caught dead with her.”
Tommy claps him on the shoulder, grinning. “Keep telling yourself that, Johnny. But we all see right through you.”
The crowd of high schoolers head inside, spreading off into their classes. Unfortunately- or fortunately for her, her first class was calculus, with Johnny. He sat a few rows behind her, always in the back of the room.
Johnny’s sitting in his usual spot in the back, trying to look interested as the teacher drones on about equations that might as well be ancient hieroglyphics. Across the room, she’s taking diligent notes, her pen moving lightning fast as she makes sense of the gibberish on the board.
He can’t help himself. He watches her, mesmerized by how focused and confident she looks. Why does she have to be so good at everything?
"And would the answer be A,B, or C?" the teacher asks, no one raises their hand. She looks around, her hand slowly comes up and the teacher immediately calls on her. "It would be C," the teacher gives a knowing nod, she got it right, she always does.
Johnny can’t help but grin to himself. Of course she got it right. She’s probably the only one in this room who actually enjoys this nerdy crap. He leans back in his chair, crossing his arms, still staring at her.
She moves her hair over her shoulder, locking eyes with him once again and moving her head back to the front of the room faster than the speed of light.
The teacher asks another question, and just like before, she’s the first one with her hand in the air—and of course, she gets it right. The teacher smiles, clearly impressed. Johnny leans over to his friends beside him. “Showoff,” he mutters, but there’s a hint of admiration in his eyes.
His friends snicker, she pretends to not hear. The bell rings, she packs up her stuff and slings her bag over her shoulder, heading to her next class.
Johnny catches up to her in the hallway, matching her stride. “So, how does it feel to be the teacher's pet? Bet they'll just hand you your diploma now, won't they?”
She rolls her eyes, trying hard to fight off a smirk, instead feigning an annoyed look. "You know, if you stopped doodling skulls- or whatever you do instead of paying attention- it's easier than you'd think" she says. "But I'm pretty sure you've got brain damage from karate, so I don't see that in the cards for you."
Johnny scoffs. “Oh, real clever, Princess. But you don’t know me. You don’t know the first thing about karate or my brain.”
He glances down at the books in her hands. “Maybe you should stick to your textbooks and I’ll keep knocking people out with my fists. At least one of us is having fun.”
They come up to her next class, her preppy friends already inside, noticing the two of them. "Yeah Johnny, wearing a leather jacket and pushing guys on a matt *totally* makes you look cool" she bites, walking into class, a smirk spreading as she turns away from him.
Johnny clenches his jaw, watching her walk away. He wants to come up with some witty retort, something to wipe that stupid smirk off her face. But the bell’s ringing and he’s got to get to P.E.
He shakes his head, muttering to himself. “Unbelievable.”
Their friends are watching from their lockers, rolling their eyes and laughing. “You two are gonna end up killing each other, or making out. I can’t decide which one is worse.”
Johnny storms past the guys, grabbing his gym bag from his locker and slamming the door. "Would you guys shut up? She's nothing to me, alright? Jesus."
Johnny's in a mood for the rest of the day, trying to shake off his encounter with her. He barely pays attention in his classes, his mind still on their little argument. And every time they run into each other in the hallways, he shoots her a glare that could kill. But the more he tries to ignore her, the more his thoughts keep drifting back to her. It pisses him off.
Finally, the last bell rings and Johnny's practically sprinting out of school. He's desperate to burn off the frustration of this day and to maybe, just maybe, keep his mind off of her.
She unlocks her car, her eyes lingering on him and his bike for a second too long. She shakes it off, getting into her car.
But he notices. Of course he does. His eyes linger on her for a beat too long before finally revving his engine and taking off, tearing out of the lot. God, what is she doing to him?
He rides faster, weaving in and out of traffic. The wind's in his face and the pavement flies beneath his wheels but he can't shake her from his thoughts. And as the sun starts to set, casting a warm glow over the city, he realizes he's headed in the same direction as her.
She pulls into the beach parking lot, she comes here sometimes to think about things. As of recently, it's always been about him ,her feelings are battling it out like a world war in her heart. She turns off her car, sighing as she slumps back into her seat.
Johnny's bike rumbles into the lot a moment later. He spots her car on the opposite end and curses under his breath, but he doesn't leave. Something pulls him toward her, the same way it always does.
She gets out of her car, not noticing him, as she walks down the hill to the water. She needed a walk to clear her head.
Johnny watches her walk to the water, her hair blowing in the breeze. Against his better judgment, he finds himself following her. He can't help it. He's drawn to her, like a moth to a flame, even though he knows he shouldn't be.
She gets out of her car, not noticing him, as she walks down the hill to the water. She needed a walk to clear her head.
He stays a fair distance behind her, hidden behind a cluster of beach grass. He has no idea what he's doing, what he's even hoping for. He just wants to be near her, to hear her voice again, even if it's just to insult him.
She senses someone is near, she peaks behind her and sees him, her heart nearly stops.
Johnny freezes when he sees her look back at him. He can't tell if she's angry or confused or what. He waits for her to say something, anything.
"What the hell, Johnny?" she shouts, the distance is pulverizing. She didn't know why he was following her, and why she was sort of happy about it.
“What, I can't be here?” Johnny shouts back, slowly coming out from behind the grass. He shoves his hands in his pockets, standing his ground. “You don't own this beach.”
Johnny follows, his boots sinking into the soft sand with each step. They walk in silence for a few moments, the tension crackling in the air between them. Finally, he speaks up, his voice softer than before.
"Why do you always have to be such a pain in the ass?"
"That is really rich coming from you, Lawrence" her tone laced with venom.
Johnny rolls his eyes, kicking at the sand. "You know, for someone who hates my guts, you sure seem to love picking fights with me."
"Shut up," she urges.
Johnny grins, shaking his head. "See? That's exactly what I mean. You can't resist trying to get the last word, can you?"
She shrugs, feeling a little defeated at how on point he was. "So?"
Johnny shrugs back. "Just saying. Maybe you enjoy arguing with me more than you let on." He shoots her a playful grin, trying to bait her.
She shakes her head, she can't believe him. "No, It's because I can't stand you."
Johnny smirks, raising an eyebrow. "Then why haven't you walked away yet?"
She steps back, "You followed me."
Johnny takes a step closer, meeting her gaze. "I know I did. But you could've told me to leave the second you saw me, and you didn't. So, here we are."
His eyes look just like the ocean, she couldn't unwind herself from his trap even if she wanted to. "Fine, Leave" she shrugged
Johnny hesitates, his eyes locked on hers. He could leave. He knows that. But he doesn't want to. And judging by the way she's looking at him, she doesn't want him to either.
He takes another step closer, their faces inches apart. "You really want me to?" he asks.
"Y-yes" her voice betrays her, her face giving her true feeling away.
"Liar." The word leaves his lips in a low rumble, barely a whisper between them. The air around them is charged with a newfound tension that neither of them can ignore.
Johnny's hand slowly comes up, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. His touch is gentle, almost reverent.
.HIs touch makes her tremble, his calloused hands so close to her perfect soft skin. The brain of her existence, the boy that she hated, making her stomach tie in knots. She closed her eyes, leaning into the action
Johnny's gaze is fixed on her, his thumb lingering on her cheek for a moment too long. He's caught in her orbit, pulled in by her magnetism. He leans in closer, his breath hot on her skin, and for a split second, it's like the rest of the world fades away.
But then she pulls back, shaking her head. "This--this is wrong. We can't."
Johnny's heart sinks. He knows she's right. He doesn't want to admit it, but he knows. "But what if it feels right?" he asks, his voice barely above a whisper. "What if I don't want to feel like I'm fighting with you all the damn time?"
She laughs bitterly, stepping back into reality for a second. "Then what else would we do?"
Johnny smirks, raising an eyebrow. "I can think of a few things." He leans in again, his lips hovering just above hers, as if asking for permission.
Her breath catches, her heart feeling like it's going to beat out of her chest. She looks at him with longing eyes, she knew she couldn't, but dammit if she could resist him.
Johnny's eyes search hers, looking for any sign of hesitation. When he doesn't find any, he closes the gap, his lips finally meeting hers in a kiss that's both tentative and powerful. His arms wrap around her waist, pulling her close as he deepens the kiss, pouring all of his pent-up feelings into that one moment.
She feels herself unravel, all of the hate, all of the resentment, melts away into a passion she always knew was there. One of her hands moves to his back, and the over on his side.
Johnny's response is immediate, his hands running down her back, fingers tracing the curve of her spine. He tilts his head, slanting his mouth over hers, coaxing her lips open to delve deeper. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore is drowned out by the pounding of his heart, the feeling of her body pressed against his sending a jolt of electricity through his veins.
She slips her tongue through the gates of his lips, a risky action that really paid off. He tastes good, better than she ever imagined.
Johnny groans against her lips, the sound vibrating through him as he pulls her even closer, if that were possible. His tongue tangles with hers, exploring her mouth with a hunger that only seems to grow with every passing moment.
His hands wander further down, coming to rest on the swell of her hip, his fingers pressing into her soft curves.
Her fingers dance under the back of his shirt, feeling his muscular back as they pant and groan within broken kisses. Her heart and body was lit ablaze, Johnny Lawrence was something she always needed, in one way or another.
Johnny's breath hitches at the feel of her hands against his bare skin, and he breaks the kiss, trailing his lips down her jaw and neck. His fingers toy with the hem of her shirt, teasing the soft skin below, but he restrains himself. Instead, he finds her earlobe with his mouth, sucking gently.
She shivers at his touch, all she could think about was why the hell they didn't do this before.
Johnny slowly pulls away, pressing his forehead against hers, both of them breathless and flushed. He tries to gather his thoughts, his heart still pounding like a drum in his chest. "We can't keep fighting..." he breathes. "Not when it feels like this."
She nods in agreement, trying to catch her breath. "Yea.. this is.." she started, but she didn't need to finish. They both knew there was no going back from this.
Johnny runs a hand through his hair, still panting slightly. "So, what now?" he asks. "I mean, we still hate each other sometimes, right?" He's trying to make light of the situation, but there's a hint of vulnerability in his eyes. He doesn't want to lose this feeling, this connection they've just discovered.
Johnny's stomach drops at her words. He doesn't want her to go, not now, not after they've crossed this line. But he doesn't stop her, doesn't try to convince her to stay. "Yeah, okay," he says, his voice barely above a whisper. He watches her start to walk away, every step she takes feeling like a punch to the gut.
She fights the urge to look back, walking up the hill and bee lining to her car. She needed to think about all of this, the new territory they've discovered.
Johnny watches her until she's out of sight, then lets out a long exhale. His mind's reeling, thoughts swirling in a storm of confusion and desire. He can still taste her on his lips, feel her in his arms. He runs a hand through his hair, shaking his head. "What the hell have we got ourselves into?"
That weekend, there was a house party thrown by one of the richies. Everyone was going, including her and all of her friends. She did her hair and makeup, her friends all trying on clothes in her room as they prepared to leave.
Johnny's also going to the party, because how could he miss the chance to show off his bike and party with half the school. He pulls on a black shirt, tugging it down over his toned abs, and grabs his leather jacket. He looks in the mirror, running a hand through his hair and checking his reflection. He looks good, he knows it. And she'll be there. The thought alone makes him grin like an idiot.
The party was bumping, the booze flowing, the rooms filled with light smoke and sweat. Her and her friends were socializing with their typical crowd, she tried desperately not to notice Johnny, looking anywhere but the direct of the cobra kai's.
Johnny rolls into the house on his bike, the engine roaring as he parks it. He strides inside, immediately spotting her and her friends across the room. His eyes linger on her for a moment longer than they should, but he catches himself and looks away. His buddies slap him on the back, pulling him into the party with the promise of booze and good times. They drink and dance, Johnny not-so-subtly stealing glances in her direction every chance he gets.
The night wears on, everyone getting more and more inebriated. Johnny's had a few too many beers, his head buzzing as he leans against the wall. His eyes keep finding her across the room, the sight of her both thrilling and infuriating him. He wants to talk to her, to touch her again, but instead, he takes another swig of beer and sulks.
"Why do you keep looking at her?" Tommy asks, "I thought she was your mortal enemy."
Johnny shrugs, taking another sip of beer. "Just keeping an eye on her, you know? She's in trouble." He says, but his eyes betray his words, still stealing glances at her across the room.
She keeps looking over to Johnny, the memories of a few days prior swimming in her mind. Their private moment on the beach has been consuming every thought she's had.
The more the night goes on, the more Johnny's inhibitions start to slip away. He's always been a bit impulsive, and the alcohol is just fueling that fire. He pushes away from the wall, making his way through the crowd, his eyes never leaving her. His friends follow, some cheering him on, the rest just shaking their heads, knowing he's about to do something stupid.
She watches him approach, her friends preparing for their normal battle of insults. "Oh god" her friend sighs, ready for the war to begin.
Johnny stumbles up to her, grinning like a Cheshire cat. "Hey," he says, his voice slightly slurred. He's definitely drunk, probably more than he should be. His eyes roam over her, taking in her outfit, her hair, her everything.
She rolls her eyes, taking a sip of her drink."Oh good, another drunk idiot" she spits, a hint of playfulness in her voice.
"Always so sweet to me," Johnny chuckles, leaning against the wall next to her. "You look good tonight," he adds, his voice low. He's way more honest when he's been drinking, all of his usual defenses lowered.
Her friends gasp, surprised he wasn't insulting her. "That means close to nothing, coming from you" she laughed.
Johnny smirks, shaking his head. "You can't resist teasing me, can you?" He steps closer, his hand finding her hip as he leans in. His voice drops, barely above a rough whisper, "Come outside with me."
She glares at him, he really wasn't subtle. She thought the other day was a fluke, a secret between them. Him grabbing her in front of everyone made both friend groups stare in awe and horror. "Johnny.. not in front of everyone" she pleaded silently.
"Just come on" he begs, his hand tightening on her hip, "Just for a minute." He's already too far gone to care about the states around them, his only focus is getting her alone, away from the prying eyes of the party. His fingers toy with the fabric of her dress, a silent promise of more if she would just say yes.
She looks back at her friends, all of them pale and faces ridden with wonder. She looks back at him and nods silently, following him outside. The cold air nips at her cheeks, making them flush.
Johnny leads her around the back of the house, far enough away from the party that they have some privacy, but close enough that they can still hear the thumping beats of the music. He's sobered up slightly from the cold air, but he's still feeling pretty buzzed. He turns to her, his eyes hooded and filled with a mixture of desire and mischief. "So, you're gonna tell me I look horrible tonight?" he asks, a teasing grin tugging at the corners of his mouth.
"Well you do" she lets a laugh escape her lips. She takes a sip of her drink, she can feel the energy shift between them, just how it did the other day.
Johnny chuckles, leaning in closer, his breath hot on her skin. "Oh yeah? You gonna hurt my feelings?" He teases, closing the gap between them, his hand finding her hip once more. "I seem to remember you thinking otherwise on the beach the other day," he whispers low in her ear, sending shivers down her spine.
Her chest rises and falls rapidly, the space between them is thin to nothing. "Johnny.." she says warningly, trying to keep her guard high, "We- we can't do this again." She looks up at him, his eyes filled with booze and lust, messy blonde hair draped on his head.
Johnny's expression softens slightly at her words. "Why not?" His hand slides up her side, the touch achingly gentle. His thumb grazes the exposed skin above her dress, making her inhale sharply. "We both wanted it," he murmurs, his voice barely audible over the distant sounds of the party. "I still want it."
Her hands ghost his back, scared to reach out, but impossible to resist. Her lips part to let needy breathes out, her inside turning to mush at his tempting words. "I...I' she stutters, blinking slowly.
Johnny's other hand moves to rest on the small of her back, pulling her even closer. Their faces are inches away now, the tension thick between them. "Tell me to stop," he says, his voice raspy, his eyes locked on her lips. He's testing the waters, seeing how far she's willing to let this go.
Her fingers roam his sides, betraying the words she couldn't even get out. She bites her lip to ease the tension, holding on to her last strand of control. The hate, the arguments all fueled into this, the moment on the beach was only a preview. She couldn't deny him much longer.
Johnny takes her silence as an answer, that last bit of self-control he had snapping. He crashes his lips into hers, kissing her with a searing intensity. His hands roam her back, one fisting in her hair, tugging gently, the other dipping down to her bare thigh.
She grips onto his built figure like it would disappear, engulfing herself in the magic that was his mouth. His warm lips were a nice contrast to the cold night, the alcohol etched into his gums.
Johnny moans against her, his tongue slipping past her lips to explore her mouth. He presses her against the side of the house, his body hard against hers, every inch of her curves on fire where they touch. His hands wander, gripping her hips, her waist, her thighs, as if trying to memorize every part of her through touch alone.
Their tongues dance together, little gasps come out between kisses. One hand moves to the back of his head, trying to push him impossibly closer.
The hand in her hair tightens, tilting her head back as he deepens the kiss. He's lost in her, in the taste and feel of her, every rational thought in his head shut down.
She breaks the kiss to catch her breath, then dives down peppering open mouthed kisses down Johnny's neck.
Johnny throws his head back, letting out a low growl as her lips find his neck. His hips thrust forward instinctively, grinding against her, desperate for more. "Fuck" he gasps, his fingers digging into her thigh. "Keep going," he rasps, wanting to feel her lips everywhere.
She glides her tongue down his neck, her lips assaulting the tan skin of his neck. She moved the collar of his shirt to the side to access his collarbone, nipping at the thin, sensitive skin.
Johnny's breathing is ragged now, his chest heaving as he tries to maintain control. Her lips on his skin feels like pure bliss, setting off sparks of pleasure throughout his entire body. His hips jerk forward again, more out of reflex than anything, pressing her harder against the side of the house. He can feel himself getting hard, the sensation almost painful, restricted by his jeans. He moans softly, his body on fire from her touch.
She palms his bulge, kissing back up his neck to his jaw. The smell of his skin, how his cocky facade crumbled under her touch, it was perfectly intoxicating.
"Yo! Johnny, where are you?" Dutch yells, walking around the house.
"Fuck" Johnny curses, his head snapping toward the sound of his best friend's voice. He quickly steps away from her, trying to compose himself as best he can. His voice is strained when he calls out, "I'm back here!"
She brushes out her hair with her fingers, trying to make it look like they weren't doing what they were just doing. Dutch rounds the corner "We need help lifting the keg-" he stops mid sentence once he sees who Johnny is with, A smirk plays on Dutch's face, "I'm not interrupting anything, huh?" he teases.
Johnny gives Dutch a death glare, his eyes screaming 'not a word'. "Yea, yea, we're coming" he grumbles, adjusting his clothes to hide the evidence of their heated moment. He throws one last glance at her before following Dutch back to the party, his mind still swirling with the sensation of her touch.
She says outside for a second, his absence making her cold once more. She couldn't help but miss him, wanting him back outside, having her against the house. The composition of their relationship was one you couldn't get enough of, despite every insult, they felt the opposite of those words. She heads back instead, getting another drink to clear her head.
"So" Bobby taps her shoulder with a grin, she almost drops her cup. "I thought you two hated each other" he gestured to Johnny. "We do," she replies, taking a long sip.
Bobby chuckles, leaning against the wall next to her. "Sure looks like it" he teases, raising an eyebrow. "I think you're both confusing hate with something else." he says knowingly.
She shakes her head, "I can't stand him, we can't stand me. Everyone knows that. She tries to play it off, but she steals another look at him, and his lazy drunken smile.
"Mhmm" Bobby hums, not buying it for a second. "Well, keep 'hating' him like that and it's gonna get real obvious, real fast." He nudges her with his elbow, "People might start thinkin' you like him."
"Shut it, Bobby" she snaps, pushing past him to get back to her friends. She knew he was right, but boy, the rest of the cobra's almost pissed her off as much as Johnny did.
Johnny rejoins the party, a smug grin on his face as he sees her arguing with Bobby. He rolls his eyes, muttering to himself, "Typical." But he can't help the twinge of jealousy he feels, seeing her so close to his best friend. He grabs a beer from a cooler and leans against the wall, watching her from across the room, their unspoken tension thick in the air.
Her and her friends gossip in the corner, but she can't help but feel distracted. Her mind flashes with the images of earlier, how good it felt, how wrong it was. She spaced out, looking at him, undressing him mentally.
Johnny notices her watching him, his cocky grin growing wider as he catches her eye. He takes a slow sip of his beer, his gaze never leaving hers. He just wants her to come back, to feel her body pressed against his again. He tilts his head slightly, a silent invitation for her to come join him.
She shakes her head softly, fighting back a small smile.
Johnny chuckles, shaking his head. "Stubborn as always." He pushes off the wall, striding through the crowd towards her, ignoring the questioning looks from his friends. He makes his way over to where she's standing, stopping close enough that he can feel her body heat.
She feigned annoyance at his presence for her friends, but secretly, her heart palpitated at every step he took. "What do you want?" she raises an eyebrow at him.
Johnny's grin only widens as he leans in closer, speaking low so only she can hear. "You know what I want" he murmurs, his tone laced with innuendo. He reaches out, tracing a finger along the edge of her dress, teasingly. "And I know you want it too." He moves closer, his chest grazing hers, the proximity making her head spin. "The question is...when are you gonna stop denying it?"
Her eyes dart around as people begin to stare again, the second time this night Johnny has cornered her in front of everyone. "You do realize we are in a room full of people.. people that know we don't like each other" she tries to change the topic, and draw attention to the show they're putting on.
Johnny gives her a challenging grin, "You really think they care? They're all half-drunk and most of them wish they were in my shoes right now." He leans in even closer, his lips almost touching her ear. "But if you want me to stop, just say the word and I'll back off." His voice drops, low and teasing. "You know you don't want me to stop though."
His words were cocky, seductive, and infuriating. The kind that made her want to smack him upside the head, then kiss him senseless. "I'm over this game" she bluffs, walking away, the hallway feeling like it's miles long.
Johnny watches her walk away, his eyes dark with lust. He knows he's gotten under her skin, just like she's gotten under his. But he isn't about to just let her walk away. He waits a beat, then follows her, pushing past dancing bodies and stumbling partygoers. He catches up to her before she can make it far, grabbing her wrist and spinning her around to face him.
Her eyes dart down to his veiny hand grasping hers, and how small her hands look compared to his. "What now?" she huffed, pulling her hand back.
Johnny doesn't let go, instead using his grip to tug her closer. He leans against the wall behind her, caging her in with his body. His eyes roam over her, a wild, hungry look in his gaze. "You keep running away, and I'm gonna start thinking you want me to chase you," he murmurs, his voice rough and low.
"I-I dont" her gaze planted on the floor, lying through her teeth.
Johnny sees right through her. He knows this cat and mouse game they're playing, and it's only making his desire for her grow stronger. "I don't believe you," he whispers, tilting her chin up with a finger, forcing her to meet his gaze. He can see the lust in her eyes, reflecting his own. He tucks a strand of her hair behind her ear, leaning forward so their lips are barely apart. His breath ghosts against her parted lips. "Tell me I'm wrong."
"Jesus, shut up Johnny!" she crosses her arms, wishing those damn lips would just stop moving, stop saying all of these things that make her head spin.
Johnny chuckles, a mixture of amusement and arousal washing over him at her response. "Not gonna happen," he quips. He reaches out, uncrossing her arms and pinning them above her head, their bodies pressed together. He leans in, his lips finding the spot behind her jaw that makes her go weak in the knees. "Tell me to stop."
It was sweet torture, he knew her better now to know she wouldn't tell him to stop. She would give in, she basically had to. Her skin felt like it was blazing, his lips causing her to lose every sensible thought once again.
Johnny senses her weakening. Her body melts against him, her breathing shallow. "That's what I thought." he teases, his voice barely a whisper. He places another kiss on her neck, just below her ear, as his hips press into hers. "You want me. Admit it."
She doesn't answer as her hands slowly grab his back, she could tell Johnny was enjoying this way too much.
The feel of her hands on him sends a jolt of heat straight to his groin, and he grinds into her, his self control wearing thin. "Say it," he growls, teeth grazing her skin. He wants to hear it from her, the words he already knows are the truth.
"I want you" she whispered, her eyes screwed shut. She reaches behind her, fumbling with the door handle behind her as she opens it to what looks like a spare bedroom.
Surprise sparks in Johnny's eyes when she opens the door, his lips still leaving a trail of hot kisses down her neck. He grabs her hand pulling her into the room, shutting the door behind them. His lips find hers, kissing her with fierce intensity as he backs her towards the bed.
She gently falls back, holding herself up. by her elbows as she looks up at him with eager eyes. She reaches up and drags him down by his collar, bringing him into a passionate kiss.
Jonny falls into her eager kiss, his hands exploring her body everywhere. He tugs her dress up, bunching the material at her hips as their kiss deepens, heated and desperate. He presses his body against hers, pinning her down on the bed.
The straps of her dress behind to drape over the sides of her shoulders as she submits to his figure. Their tongues lock with gasps of relief as they taste each other again.
Johnny's hips rock into her, his hands slipping between their bodies to feel bare skin. He groans as the kiss gets even wilder, his brain fuzzy with lust. "God, I want you," he pants into the kiss. His hand grips her thigh, sliding up, pushing her dress even further up her body.
She tugs off his shirt, the sight making her mouth practically water. She turns her cold hands down his chest, "I want you, too." The admission makes her shy as she dives in for another kiss, her head turning to get deeper into his mouth.
Johnny moans as she strips his shirt, a shiver coursing through him from her cold hands. The words go straight to his already painfully hard cock, and he growls as the kiss deepens. His large fingers grip her thighs, squeezing the soft flesh. His body presses into hers, desperate to feel her completely. "I'm yours, I always was" he whispers against her mouth.
She groans in disbelief and pleasure, how did she deny what they had for so long? The hate melted away into something so much more electric that had always been there. She pulls up her dress more, her lacy panties on display for him and only him. "Yeah, you too.."
Johnny takes in her sight with a sharp inhale. He always knew she was gorgeous, but there's something about seeing her like this, a delicious temptation, just for him. He groans again as he watches her pull her dress up, his fingers tracing up her thighs to toy with the hem of her panties.
Johnny smirks, biting his lip. "Yeah, I'm yours."
The light touch sends shock waves down her spine, her body curls in response. "God.." she says breathlessly, his fingers teasing her in the most perfect way.
Johnny grins at this reaction, loving the power he has over her body. He watches her eyes flutter, taking in every sound she makes. He slides a finger under her panties, teasing her through the fabric, his lips ghosting over hers. "What was that?" he teases.
"Feels.. different" she jokes through her whimpers, she was becoming more desperate for Johnny with each beat of her heart. HIs smell, his touch, that look in his eyes was about enough to kill her.
"I know," Johnny replies, his cocky smirk on display. He loves seeing her squirm, knowing he's the one causing it. His fingers continue to tease her, still only grazing over the thin material. "Do you want me to keep going?" he asks, his lips against her ear.
"I think I'd just about lose my mind if you didn't," she laughed, tracing his shoulder. Her light touch teasing him, driving him closer to completely losing control. It was a tension that had been accumulating for months, finally coming to fruition.
Johnns finger dips below the elastic waistline, his middle finger grazing her clit. A glow groan escapes her soft lips, plump from assault. He watches her every reaction, drinking her in like an oasis in the middle of the desert.
She unzips his pants, Johnny lets out a shaky breath, he can hardly believe this is finally happening.
Johnny lets out a shaky breath as she pulls down his zipper, his hips rocking into her touch. Her lips, her body, the sounds she makes, it's driving him feral with desire. "Touch me," he groans, pressing into her. He needs her hands on him, her skin on his.
She reaches down his boxers, finding he was already very aroused. "You're.. woah" she sighs, he was well endowed, that was for sure. She began to stroke him as he picked up the pace on her core.
Johnny moans, his head tilting back as pleasure courses through him. Her touch was perfect, her fingers knowing what he wanted, but not giving him enough, just enough to drive him mad with anticipation. "Mm- ah- Jesus," he groans, the combination of her hand on him and his fingers on her is intense, building the fire deep in his gut. "You- mmm-" he gasps, his fingers moving faster, wanting her to lose control, too.
"I want you so bad" she moans into Johnny's shoulder as her toes curl. She looked up at him, his blonde hair was sweaty and messy over his forehead and god- he looked amazing.
Johnny is losing himself, giving his whole body over to her. He's panting, his pupils blown wide, his fingers pushing a little deeper, moving a little faster. "You have me," he groans. "You always have." He can feel the tension building in his gut, the heat rushing to his lower body.
She smirks, biting her lip at his honesty. "That's not what I meant..." she sits up and takes off her dress. She wanted all of him, she wanted him so deep in her that she could hardly form any words.
Johnny's breath catches, his eyes roaming over her body once again, greedily taking in her form. She was perfect. He stands, kicking off his pants and boxers as he leans back down over her, his mouth devouring hers as he presses himself against her. He needs her. "Tell me what you want," he growls.
Her heart raced as she could hardly contain the butterflies in her stomach. She admired his muscular physique, his large body, and the way he was desperate to please her. "I want you to fuck me" she whispered like it was a sin.
Johnny groans as he presses into her, her words igniting a flame in him. "I was hoping you'd say that," he whispers into her neck, biting down gently as he presses his lips against her soft skin. He was desperate, aching for more as he nipped at her neck, sucking at the skin.
She moans at the feeling of him teasing her entrance, the warmth building between the both of them was unmatchable. "More" she begged.
The sounds she makes, her soft skin, Johnny groans again, needing to hear her beg more. "I want to hear it," he rasps, his hand running down her side. "Say please."
"Please, Johnny" she said in a soft moan, goosebumps rising at the touch of his calloused hands.
God, the sound of her saying please in the sweetest tone, his head is swimming, aching with lust. Johnny smirks, his fingers digging into the soft flesh of her thighs. "Good girl," he murmurs, his eyes locking on hers. "Want me that badly?" He presses against her again, just teasing her as he watches her expression.
"Jesus, Johnny" she gives out an exasperated sigh, "No wonder I hated you for so long." She looks deep into his icy eyes, needing him more than she ever needed anything in her life "Please fuck me, Johnny."
Johnny can barely suppress a grin at her words, the sweet mix of lust and praise pushing him to the edge. He kisses her, long and hard, as he presses into her, a long groan being stifled by her mouth. He breaks the kiss, looking at her heatedly, "Say it again."
"Fuck me, now" she became impatient, although she liked the teasing. But it had gone on for too long, she needed him now.
Johnny's grin widens at this, "I've wanted you, needed you so badly." He leans down, kissing her hard, needing her closer as he rocks into her. He groans, feeling her against him and it's euphoric.
The pressure of him inside her made her let out a primal moan, he stretched her out in a way no one else ever would. "Holy- fuck" she groaned as he began to slide in and out of her wet heat. "Feels good" she whimpered, drunk off of him.
"Oh god, you feel perfect" he moans, his mouth at her ear as he rocks with a steady rhythm. His hands roam her body, trying to find every sensitive spot. He can't get enough of her, his lips moving to her neck, marking her soft skin. This was like a dream, his body burning everywhere they touched. It's overwhelming, her sounds sending shocks down his back to his cock. He keeps moving, trying to make her lose control, to lose herself in him. They've waited too long for this, and needed it too much.
She pants as he lifts up her leg, sliding in at a deeper angle. "Oh god!' she screams, it feels way too good after all of the teasing tonight. He was so deep inside her, hitting every spot, making her see stars.
Johnny's breath hitches as he rocks into her, the sounds of his groan and her panting filling the entire room. He needs her, all of her, every sound she makes. He reaches down, taking her thighs with his hands, his lips finding her collarbone as he kisses her hard. "That's it," he moans, "I'm right here." And gods, she feels incredible, the way her body moves with him, he doesn't want it to stop. His pace is hard, but it isn't enough. He wants all that she'll give him.
"You're so tight," he groaned.
Herheat tightens around him, "I'm getting so close" she cries. Tears of pleasure rolled down her cheeks, her lips parted letting out the most sultry sounds Johnny had ever heard.
Johnny groans, his jaw going slack from her noises and her words. He's so close, her pleasure bringing him right to the edge with her. He wants her to go first, to feel her fall apart around him. "Look at me," he groans, moving his lips from her neck to her mouth.
Her climax sends him tumbling over the edge right after, his lips capturing hers almost desperately, muffling his loud groan as he rocks into her. His grip on her thighs tightens as he rides out his orgasm, the intense pleasure making his vision go white. He pulls back, panting softly as he drinks her in.
"That was..." Johnny starts, but he doesn't know how to finish. His mind was a fuzzy mess, but he's never been so happy.
"Yeah.." she breathes, smiling.
Johnny kisses her, slower, softer. This was not the way he imagined their first time, but he wouldn't change it for the world. He wraps his arms around her, holding her close as his breathing finally slows.
"I still can't stand you," she teases, being swallowed by his touch. She began to think about what comes after this, what their friends will think.
"Ditto," he chuckles, kissing her neck. He could stay like this forever, but he can already feel reality creeping back in. Johnny knows there are a million questions to answer, like, how the hell they're getting out of this situation. But he just wants to hold her in his arms for a few more moments.
LET ME KNOW IF YALL WANT A PART 2!

The spill
Summary: Johnny wants his ex back, seeing her at the movie theatre giving Tommy an idea.
Warnings: Smut, swearing
Word count: 6.8k
Johnny Lawrence had it all—captain of the Cobra Kai, All Valley cham, best of all, her by his side. She was different from the other girls, smart and always challenging him. With her, he felt like he could be himself—no Kreese, no pressure, just Johnny and her against the world. But things changed. She’d had enough of his temper, of the way he was always trying to be in control. It came to a head at the beach party, right there in front of everyone. She broke up with him, saying he was too possessive, too jealous, that she couldn’t take it anymore.
Since that night, Johnny hadn’t been able to shake the feeling that she was meant to be his. He’d go through his day, but his mind would drift to her—wondering what she was doing, if she ever missed him, if she’d realize that they belonged together. And then, every time he saw her with Daniel, the jealousy burned so hot it felt like it would consume him. Sometimes he’d end up driving by her house or showing up at the spots they used to hang out, just to feel like he was close to her. His friends started noticing, and even Kreese gave him a hard time, but Johnny didn’t care. She was worth it.
Tonight, Johnny’s parked outside the movie theater he knew she liked to go to, hoping to catch a glimpse of her, maybe remind her of what they used to have. He tells himself he just wants to talk, but the truth is he’s desperate for any reason to stay connected to her, no matter how messed up it looks.
Johnny’s leaning against his bike with the Cobra Kai's, eyes fixed on the theater doors, his mind replaying memories of her in his car, of their late-night talks, and the way she used to look at him before everything got so screwed up. He’s still holding onto hope, convinced she’ll come around if she just remembers the good times. His fist clenched as he thinks about LaRusso, about the way she’s letting that punk take his place.
"You don’t even know her, LaRusso," Johnny mutters under his breath, eyes narrowed. "You’re just… borrowing her."
"What was that, Johnny?" Bobby asks.
"Nothing," Johnny says, rolling his eyes. "Just… forget it."
Bobby shakes his head, Johnny was always pulling antics to try to get her attention, as if she forgot he existed. There were giggles coming from around the corner, sure enough her and her posse rounded the movie theater heading straight for the door.
As soon as Johnny saw her, his heart started beating faster. She was so close he could almost touch her. Her laughter floated through the night, as natural as breathing. Johnny felt a pang in his stomach, like he always did around her.
She noticed him and his crew, trying not to look over for more than half a second. He looked good, he always did, but he was too damn much. Beating up Daniel once a week really gave her a bitter taste in her mouth.
"Look who it is," her friend Susan whispered as she gestured toward Johnny. She huffs "I know."
Johnny caught the glimpse she made in his direction, holding out hope that she still cared. But when she didn’t stop, didn’t slow down, Johnny knew he needed to make a move. "Hey, wait up!" he called out. She pretended not to hear, but Johnny knew better than that.
"We've been over this. I don't want to talk" annoyance laced her tone.
Johnny knew he was losing ground, but he couldn’t let her slip through his fingers again. "Just listen for a second, okay?"
She whipped around at an almost violent rate, "What!" she snapped. Johnny's friends chuckled at her fiery attitude.
Johnny raised his hands defensively. "Just five minutes. That’s all I’m asking for," he said, hoping his sincerity would get through to her.
Her eyes softened for a second, when she looked at him all she could see was the secretly sweet guy he used to be. But the menace he was on the surface loomed over her, she snapped out of her thoughts. "Yeah, I'll pass" she turns back around, her and her friends whispering and looking back at him as they head into the theater.
Johnny’s heart dropped as she walked away. He knew he’d been pushing his luck, but the thought of losing her for good was too much to bear. He stared at the door where she’d disappeared, feeling more determined than ever to win her back.
"What are you doing man?" Dutch shouted, his hands on his hips. "I thought they broke up," Jimmy sighed, rolling his eyes.
Johnny turned to face his friends, irritation clear on his face. "Stay out of it, Dutch," he snapped. "It's none of your damn business."
"It is my business when you drag us places acting like you want to hang out, when you really just want to run into her" Dutch countered.
Johnny bristled at Dutch’s words. "I can do whatever the hell I want, Dutch," he said through gritted teeth. "And if I wanna see her, I'm gonna see her. You got a problem with that?"
"Doesn't really look like she wants to see you," Dutch said while getting on his bike. "I'm out of here, it's been weeks man, This isn't like you, to be so weak over some girl." With that, Dutch started his bike and drove off. On one hand, Dutch was right, it really wasnt like Johnny at all-- but they dated for two fucking years, so it was different.
Johnny watched as Dutch zoomed away, his words stinging. He knew his friends were fed up with his obsession, but he couldn’t shake the need to be near her. He glanced at the theater door, then back to his bike, unsure of what to do next.
Bobby came up and patted Johnny on the shoulder, "Listen man, Dutch is just being an ass." Bobby pointed toward the theater "We'll go in with you, maybe there are seats behind her and her friends still open." Tommy and Jimmy nodded, parking their bikes and heading toward the theater.
Johnny let out a sigh, grateful for his friends' support despite their frustration. "Alright," he said, a small spark of hope reigniting. "Let's go see if we can ‘accidentally’ sit near her."
They all smirk, they knew Johnny's tricks all too well. As they bought tickets and came in, her and her friends were in the middle of the theater, the back was pretty open. She noticed him walk in and sighed, she couldn't believe he came in.
Johnny and his friends took their seats a few rows behind her and her friends. As the movie started, he couldn’t help but glance in her direction from time to time. Each glimpse of her sent a rush of longing through him.
Jimmy nudged Johnny, "So what's your big plan?" he whispered.
Johnny kept his eyes locked on the screen, trying to sound casual. "I dunno," he said, "Just see if I can get her attention, maybe." He took a breath, feeling more confident in his plan than he had a moment before. "And if she doesn’t... Well, I’ll just have to be more creative." The wheels were already spinning in his mind.
She shot him a look, trying to act like she was just stretching. She was curious as to why he and his friends followed them in; she knew he wanted to talk, but this was a romance movie- and Johnny couldn't stand those. "Man she totally just looked!" Tommy commemorated.
Johnny’s heart raced as he heard the others’ excited whispers. "Yeah, she looked at us," he said, trying to play it cool. "But that doesn’t mean anything. We need to be smart about this... " He glanced over again, studying her with a mix of longing and determination. "We've still got time. Let's see if we can draw her out of the theater."
"I think I have an idea" Tommy whispers, standing up with his drink and a malice smirk. "I'll get her away from her friends."
Tommy grinned, sauntering down the aisle. When he got just a few feet away from her, he exaggerated a stumble, spilling his drink all over the back of her hair. "Woah," he said in a mock slurred tone, making a big show of his accidental clumsiness. "Damn, I am so sorry."
She shot up, only seeing red "Tommy, seriously?" she shouted, the soda dripping from the ends of her hair. "What the hell is wrong with you?" she spat as Tommy feigned apologies. She stormed out to the bathrooms, her friends shooting glares at the rest of the group.
Johnny watched with a mix of worry and anticipation as she ran to the bathroom. "Great move, Tommy," he said sarcastically, "Real smooth." He turned to the guys, trying to think of a way to salvage the situation.
"Now's your chance, idiot" Jimmy exclaimed "She's alone in the bathroom.." he trailed off, trying to make Johnny connect the pieces.
Johnny's mind raced as he realized the opportunity in front of him. "Right," he said, rising quickly from his seat. "I'll go talk to her, see if I can smooth things over." He shot the guys with a determined glance before making his way toward the bathroom.
She washed her hair in the sink, the sticky soda washing away down the drain. She wasn't sure if Tommy was a clumsy fool, or if he tried to embarrass her in front of everyone. She tried off her hair with the paper towels available before exiting.
Johnny hovered outside the bathroom, waiting for her. When she finally came out, he stepped forward, a sheepish smile on his face. "Hey" he said tentatively. "I just wanted to check on you, see if you're alright?"
"I'm fine." She brushed him off, just as she did not earlier, and walked past him back toward the theater.
He stepped in her path, preventing her from moving further. "Hey, hold up for a second," he said, his tone demanding. "I know you're pissed, and you have every right to be, but you can't just ignore me like this."
She looked at him like he had three heads "Johnny, I broke up with you, what don't you get?"
Johnny's eyes darkened. "Yeah, and you just expect me to move on? It doesn't work like that. We were together for two years. You can't just dump me and move on like I never mattered."
"The whole point of breaking up is not being together and moving on" She huffed. Johnny never took no for an answer.
Johnny clenched his jaw, frustration radiating off of him. "So that's it?" he shot back, "You just woke up one day and decided I was disposable? Like our whole relationship meant nothing?"
"We both know that's not what happened" she shoved him out of frustration. "I waited for you to calm down for two years, but you couldn't help yourself" she shakes her head "you let your temper ruin everything good in your life!"
Johnny's face hardened, hurt and anger swirling within him. "My temper? That's rich coming from you. You never understood me, you wanted to change me into some perfect boyfriend who never got mad." He stepped closer, his voice low and intense. "That's not who I am. I'm not gonna be the guy who just smiles and pretends everything is fine all the time."
"You let every little thing set you off, while I try to tear you off of someone before you damn near kill them” she twitches.
Johnny's jaw clenched as her words hit home. "And whose fault is that?" he retorted, his voice rising. "You knew I was like this when we got together. You just wanted to be the hero who could tame the bad boy, make him into your perfect boyfriend. Well, newsflash- I'm not some charity case for you to fix."
"You're such a jerk" she curses "I saw the best in you, who you were outside of karate, outside of who you pretend to be in front of your friends. I'm not going to stick around and watch you make yourself look like an ass day after day." She saw this conversation was just turning into one of their classic fights. "Just leave me alone, Johnny."
Johnny's eyes flickered with a mix of regret and anger. He knew deep down that she'd seen the best in him, a part he tried to hide beneath his tough exterior. She was right, he'd lost himself in the cycle of aggression and bravado. He took a deep breath, trying to quell the storm within him. "Fine," he said, his voice low and strained. "But don't expect me to just walk away and forget about everything we had. You meant the world to me."
She felt tears well up in her eyes, she hated how hard it was to stay away from him. She opened her mouth as if to respond, but instead pushed back him to the door outside. She had to go home, take a long shower, and mull over what she was feeling.
Jimmy, Bobby, and Tommy came out a few seconds later "Man, you've been out here for a while" Jimmy said "What happened?"
Johnny turned to his friends, his eyes conveying a mix of disappointment and frustration. He shrugged, playing it cool. "She's just being stubborn," he said dismissively, trying to hide the pain that still tugged at his heart. "Nothing new. Just forget it, let's go."
"She'll come around man" Bobby said opening the door "that girl is crazy about you, she wouldn't let you get her all worked up if she wasn't."
Johnny managed a small smile at his friends' words. Maybe they were right, maybe she did still care. But he knew he couldn't just sit around and hope things would magically fix themselves. He had to take action, show her that he could change, that their relationship was worth fighting for. "Thanks, guys," he said, determination glinting in his eyes. "I'll figure it out."
She laid in her bed that night, restlessly thinking about seeing Johnny. Every time she saw him, his image lingered in her mind, he was real easy on the eyes, which is why she forgave him for two years. As she tossed and turned, the memories of her time with Johnny flooded her mind. She couldn't deny the chemistry, the spark that drew her to him despite his flaws. She remembered the moments they shared, the laughter, the stolen glances. His easy charm and confidence always seemed to win her over, making it hard for her to stay mad.
Johnny couldn't sleep either. He replayed their conversation in his mind, the hurt in her voice still lingering in his ears. Deep down, he knew he had messed up, let his anger get the best of him too many times. But the thought of losing her for good was unbearable. He couldn't shake the memories of their time together, the way she made him feel like he could be better. And he desperately wanted a second chance to prove it.
Johnny glanced at the clock, its numbers casting a faint glow in the darkness. It was late, but he couldn't wait any longer. He knew what he had to do. He rolled out of his bed, got dressed, and quietly slipped outside into the night. The moon hung low in the sky, casting an ethereal light over the quiet neighborhood.
Johnny walked down the empty streets, his footsteps echoing in the stillness of the night. He made his way to her house, his heart pounding with a mix of anticipation and nervousness. He climbed the familiar tree that led to her bedroom window, just like he had done so many times before.
She laid there sleeping, the rise and fall of her chest as her lips part deep in dreams. Her window was slightly open, letting the cool night air in. Her room looked the same as it always did, band posters everywhere, and the picture of them from last year facing her bed on her night stand.
Johnny's eyes lingered on the photo on her nightstand, a snapshot of happier times. He carefully opened the window and climbed inside, trying not to make a sound. Once inside, he just stood there for a moment, taking in the familiar sight of her room. He knew he shouldn't be there, but he couldn't bring himself to turn back. He looked at her, sleeping peacefully, and he couldn't help but feel a pang of longing.
He moved closer to her, almost tempted to reach out and touch her. But instead, he just stood there, watching her sleep. He knew she would be mad if she woke up and found him there, but he couldn't leave things the way they were anymore. He took a deep breath and spoke softly, "Babe..."
She stirred, still in sleep, but somehow she registered his voice. "..Johnny.." she said.
Johnny's heart skipped a beat as she spoke his name in her sleep. It was as if she was reaching out to him, even in her unconscious state. He couldn't resist the pull any longer. He reached out and gently brushed a strand of hair away from her face. "Hey," he whispered again, his voice filled with tenderness. "Wake up."
Her nose twitched, as her eyes fluttered awake slowly. She rubbed her eyes, trying to adjust to the dark. "J-Johnny?" she said shocked, almost yelling
Johnny quickly covered her mouth. "Shh," he whispered. "I know I shouldn't be here, but I had to talk to you." He looked into her eyes, hoping she could see how sincere he was. "Please, just hear me out."
She breathed heavily, her eyes darting down at his hand. She slowly began nodding.
Johnny held his hand over her mouth for a moment longer before letting go, his voice low and urgent. "Please. I need to talk to you." He took a step back, giving her space. "I know you're mad, and you have every right to be, but I couldn't go another night without telling you how I feel." He gazed into her eyes, pleading for her to hear him out. "I still love you. I know I messed up, and I'm sorry. But I'm asking you to give me another chance."
"You broke into my house to do this?" she questioned, not fully awake yet.
Johnny took a deep breath, knowing he was pushing his luck. "I know it was a crazy move, but I didn't know what else to do. You won't see me, you won't take my calls. I just... I had to talk to you, to make you understand." He reached out, gently taking her hands in his. "I'm not giving up on us. I won't let you go that easily."
She scoffed, putting her head in her hands. "Yeah well you should have thought about that while we were together."
Johnny sighed, his determination unyielding. "I know I made mistakes. I was hot-headed and let my temper get the better of me. But I'm more than just my mistakes. I know I can be better. I miss you like crazy, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to prove it to you." He looked at her, his eyes filled with sincerity. "Just give me a second chance. That's all I'm asking."
She is at a loss for words, she wants to take him back, she really does. But she knew he would always be a short tempered, violent mess, was that something she could live with? She knew he could make small changes, but there will always be a fire that burns bright in Johnny for fighting. "I.." she starts, taking a moment to collect her thoughts, "I still love you Johnny, more than I should."
Johnny felt a surge of hope as she spoke those words. His heart raced, his eyes never leaving hers. He took her hands, squeezing them gently. "I love you too. More than anything. I know I'm not perfect, but I promise I'll keep working on myself. I don't want to lose you again." He took a step closer, his voice softer. "Just... Please, give me another shot. Let me prove to you that I can be the guy you deserve."
"Okay, Johnny" she nods, his big, veiny hands making her own look so feeble and small.
Johnny's face lit up, his eyes filled with gratitude. He pulled her into a tight hug, burying his face in her shoulder. "Thank you," he whispered, his voice thick with emotion. "You won't regret this. I'm gonna make it up to you, I swear." He held her close, feeling her heartbeat against his chest, a reminder of the love they shared. "From now on, I'll be the best damn boyfriend you ever had."
"Yeah, yeah" she giggles, a weight being lifted off her shoulders by his touch. She laid down, dragging him down with her and nuzzled into his chest.
Johnny wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. "I missed this so much," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. "I've been such an idiot. But I'm gonna make it right, I promise." He kissed the top of her head, inhaling the sweet scent of her hair.
She looked up at Johnny, his cocky smirk spreading across his face at her gaze. "What's the first thing you're gonna do, to make it right?" she teases.
Johnny chuckled, a mischievous gleam in his eyes. "Oh, I have a few ideas." He tilted her chin up, his lips brushing against hers lightly. "But first," he whispered, his voice low and seductive, "I think I owe you a proper kiss." Before she could respond, he pressed his lips to hers, kissing her deeply, pouring all his affection and desire into the moment. It was a promise, a declaration of his love and determination to make things right between them.
As they lock lips, a warmth builds deep within her, one only he can produce. She never truly realized how affected she was by him, he molded into every crevice of hers perfectly, like he was meant to be hers.
Johnny's heart swelled as their kiss deepened. He wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer, never wanting to let go. He knew he had to cherish her, protect her from his anger and hot-headedness, and he was determined to do so. In that moment, all he wanted was to hold her, to make her feel loved and safe. He broke the kiss, looking into her eyes with a mix of tenderness and devotion. "I love you," he whispered, "And I'm gonna spend every day showing you just how much."
"I love you, Johnny" she said, coming to smother him with another kiss. She wrapped her arms around his neck, gasping into his mouth while they reclaimed each other with a tongue numbing kiss.
Johnny responded eagerly, his hands roaming her body as their kiss deepened. He couldn't get enough of her, as if he was trying to make up for lost time. His hands traced her curves, pulling her closer, as he poured all his emotions into the kiss. He had missed this, the undeniable connection they shared, and he never wanted it to end. As they finally pulled apart, panting, Johnny rested his forehead against hers, a mix of longing and contentment in his eyes. "I don't ever want to let you go again," he whispered.
"So don't be stupid again" she banters back, her lips wet from the contact. She stroked his back, his pheromones and sweat mixing to make such a stirring aroma.
Johnny couldn't resist her playful banter, his lips curving into a crooked grin. "I'll do my best, but you know me," he teased, his voice filled with mischief. He pulled her even closer, savoring the way their bodies fit together perfectly. "You have no idea the effect you have on me," he said, his voice laced with desire, as his lips found the soft skin of her neck, leaving a trail of tender kisses. "I can't get enough of you."
"You never can" she purred, the blood rushing to her head from the high his lips gave her. She moved her hands to his hair, gripping onto his bleach blonde locks as he kissed her tenderly.
Johnny's heart raced as her fingers tangled in his hair, the sensation sending shivers down his spine. He trailed kisses down her neck, each one more intense than the last. "You're right," he whispered against her skin, his voice low and husky. "I can't resist you." He nibbled at her earlobe, his breath hot against her ear. "You're my weakness."
She pulled him in tighter, she swore if he moved even a little bit away from her he'd disappear. "Hey I thought Kreese said you shouldn't have any weaknesses" she teased "It's not good for your karate."
Johnny laughed softly against her skin, his arms wrapping around her securely. "Screw Kreese," he said, his voice filled with amusement. "You're the best weakness a guy could have. I'd choose you over any trophy or title." He captured her lips in a hungry kiss, his hands roaming her body, as if to prove the depth of his devotion. "You've got me hooked, babe. There's no turning back now."
She giggled into his kiss, loved the rare moments when he was so needy and clingy to her, like his love was too much to bear. She slipped her tongue into his mouth, exploring him like she always used to.
Johnny reciprocated eagerly, his tongue meeting hers in a passionate dance. He poured all his desire and longing into the kiss, wanting to show her how much he missed her. His hands roamed her body, caressing every curve and dip, as if to memorize every detail. In this moment, nothing else mattered to him but her, and the way their bodies fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. "I want you," he murmured between kisses, his voice heavy with need. "I need you."
She let out a whimper at his pleas, he was never one to beg. He usually made her do that, it felt arousing to feel him under her spell. "Oh yeah?" she managed to gasp out a tease.
Johnny growled softly at her teasing, his desire only growing stronger. "Oh, you know it," he said, his hands gripping her hips possessively. "But I know you like it when I'm in charge." He nibbled at her lower lip, his smoldering gaze never leaving hers. "Are you gonna make me beg for it, babe? Because I will."
"I think I like the sound of that" she bit her lip, oh how the roles have reversed.
Johnny smirked at her reaction, his eyes glinting with amusement and desire. "Begging it is then," he said, his voice low and husky. He pulled her closer, their bodies pressed against each other. "Please," he murmured, his lips brushing against her ear. "I can't take another night without you. I need you, all of you. Show me how much you miss me too." He trailed kisses down her neck, his hands exploring the contours of her body as he whispered sweet nothings into her skin. "Please, babe. I'm desperate for you."
She smirks at his words, "Mm" she hums, goosebumps rising all over her.
Johnny continued to trail kisses down her neck, his lips grazing her collarbone. He moved even lower, nuzzling against her chest. "Please," he murmured, his voice filled with longing. "I'll do anything. Just say the word and I'm yours." He looked up at her, his eyes filled with a mixture of vulnerability and desire. "I can't live without you, baby. You're my oxygen." He gently took one of her hands, placing it on his chest, right above his heart. "Feel how fast it beats for you."
She felt the organ inside him beat like it was the last thing on earth. "I think I'd feel better if your shirt was off.." she teases.
Johnny's eyes darkened at her suggestion, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. "Is that so, babe?" he replied, his voice low and seductive. He leaned back, stripping off his shirt in one swift motion, revealing his toned, sculpted chest. He flexed his muscles playfully. "Better now?" he asked, a cocky smirk on his lips.
She was hypnotized by his biceps, I mean, how couldn't she be. He was a Greek god in the making and he was totally and utterly desperate for her, she felt so lucky. "A lot, thanks" she responded, her throat beginning to feel dry.
Johnny chuckled, his ego boosted by her obvious admiration. "Like what you see, huh?" he teased, his eyes twinkling with amusement. He took her hand, guiding it to his chiseled chest. "You can touch, you know," he said, his voice thick with desire. "I'm all yours." His free hand snaked around her waist, pulling her even closer, his lips grazing her ear. "And I plan to show you just how much I need you tonight."
She reaches out and trails down his shoulders, his arms, down his chest and abdomen. She found it hard not to moan at just him under her hands, he was so fit. His warm tan skin felt smooth under her fingers, "I bet you are.." she meant to tease, but it came out as more of a plea.
Johnny's breath hitched at her touch, his body burning with desire. He couldn't resist the way her hands explored him, the way they sent electric jolts of pleasure through him. "Oh, I am," he said, his voice husky with passion. "And I plan to make you feel just how much." He leaned in, capturing her lips in a fierce kiss, his hands roaming her back, tracing every contour of her body. "You drive me insane, babe," he whispered against her lips. "I want to devour you."
She couldn't hold back the guttural groan at his suggestive words. "I missed how dirty you talk to me" she sighs, closing the gap between their lips.
Johnny smirked against her lips, his hands gripping her hips possessively. "You have no idea how much I've missed this," he murmured, his voice filled with longing. "And I'm not gonna hold back anymore." He deepened the kiss, his tongue tangling with hers in a heated dance. He pushed her down onto the bed, his body covering hers as he kissed a trail down her neck. "I'm gonna remind you just how wild I can get," he said, his voice a low growl.
Images flash in her mind of their past times, the steamy back seats, the sneaking off at the beach, him covering her mouth when her parents were in the other room. Johnny really did get wild. She squirmed as his lips moved down her.
Johnny could feel her squirm beneath him, his lips curling into a mischievous grin. He reveled in the way she responded to his touch, the way her body arched against his. He made his way lower, trailing kisses down her stomach, his hands tugging at the hem of her shirt. "You like that, huh?" he teased, his voice laced with desire. "Well, you haven't seen anything yet."
"Take it off" she begs him, her brain firing off rapidly at the sight of him doing what he does best-- driving her crazy.
Johnny eagerly complied, lifting her shirt over her hips and discarding it on the floor. He leaned back, taking in the sight of her. "Damn, you're so beautiful," he exhaled, his voice laced with desire. He ran a finger over the curve of her breast, savoring the way she arched into his touch. "How did I ever let you slip away?" he murmured, his lips finding her collarbone.
She moans as her body responds to him, it was nothing new-- how little he had to do to make her lose control of herself. "You're driving me insane."
Johnny chuckled against her skin, his lips curving into a wicked grin. "Good," he said, his voice thick with desire. "That's exactly what I wanted to hear." He continued his trail of kisses down her body, teasing her with the lightest of touches. He reached the waistband of her pants, tugging at them gently. "You want more, babe?" he asked, looking up at her with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
She nodded feverishly, "Yes Johnny. Please. I need more." She writhes under the teasing touch of his hands.
Johnny relished in her response, his fingers hooking into the waistband of her pants, slowly slipping them down over her hips. "You're so impatient," he teased, his voice low and husky. "But I'm gonna take my time with you, babe. I want to savor every moment." He traced his finger down the length of her inner thigh, his eyes never leaving hers as he watched her squirm with anticipation.
He was pressing every single one of her buttons, he was too damn good at it. One thing about Johnny, he might mess up, but somehow she was always begging him for more after. Her breath hitched with anticipation, the skin under his touch tingled. "God, don't do this to me. Don't tease me like this" she whimpered.
Johnny chuckled, his fingers tracing circles on her inner thigh. "But I love teasing you, babe," he said, his voice filled with a teasing lilt. "It drives you crazy, and that's exactly what I want." He continued to trail his fingers upwards, just barely grazing over the fabric of her panties, his eyes locked on her face, savoring every reaction. "Beg for it," he said, his voice a low growl. "I want to hear you beg for me."
And just like that, the roles were back to normal. "Please Johnny" her throaty begs fill the quiet room "Do whatever you want to me- anything to me-- just make me feel good. I need you so badly."
Johnny's eyes darkened with desire as her words filled the room. He could feel her anticipation, her desperate need for him and it only fueled his own desire. He moved closer, his lips grazing her ear as he spoke, his voice low and seductive. "Anything, huh?" he whispered. "That's a dangerous thing to say to me, babe. But I'm more than willing to oblige."
He captured her lips in a hungry kiss, his fingers slipping beneath the fabric of her panties, teasing her with a skillful touch. He toyed with her core, his fingers tracing circles around her most sensitive spot. "How does that feel, babe?" he murmured, his voice thick with desire. "Is that what you wanted?"
Her back snaps up as she arches in pleasure, her needs being quenched. "Oh god.." she whimpers, little pants slipping out of her mouth "Johnny it's amazing.. feels so good.."
Johnny's eyes gleamed with satisfaction as he watched her writhe and gasp beneath him. He loved seeing her lose control, the way her body seemed to respond to his every touch. He intensified his movements, his fingers finding a steady rhythm, driving her closer and closer to the edge. "You like that, huh?" he whispered, his voice filled with desire. "You like how I make you feel?"
"Love it" she slurs, his digits making her lose all thoughts other than the circular motion of his fingers against her sensitive clit. "I fucking love it Johnny" she moans.
Johnny's heart raced at her words, the fire inside him burning stronger than ever. He knew he had her right where he wanted her, teetering on the edge of ecstasy. With a final, skillful motion, he pushed her over the edge, sending waves of pleasure coursing through her body. "That's it, babe," he growled, his voice filled with satisfaction. "Let go for me."
She moved her hands to his pants, grabbing a hold of his bulge. "But.. I want.." she pants, giving him a knowing look.
Johnny groaned at her touch, his desire for her only growing stronger. He knew what she wanted, and he couldn't deny her any longer. He leaned in, his lips finding her neck, his hands working to release himself from the confines of his pants. "You want me to fuck your sweet brains out, don't you?" he whispered, his voice husky and filled with need.
She blushed at his bluntness, "Yes Johnny" she said softly as she slipped him out of his shorts and boxers. She began eagerly stroking him, showing him how badly she needed him inside her.
“Easy now” his self restraint snapping “You're gonna make me cum before I even got to wear you out.” He tore off her panties, spreading her legs sinfully as he slid between her legs. He bared his weight on both of his forearms, planking above her as he rested his tip at her entrance.
She lined him up, her eyes silently begging for him to take her. He slowly thrusted into her wet heat, shuttering at the familiar pleasure, she returned the shutter with the familiar burn. “Fucking christ” Johnny groaned “I dont know how I went weeks without this.”
She gripped tightly onto his biceps, digging her fingernails into him with each stroke. She wasn't used to his size, not after almost a month without it. He quickened his pace, both of them getting lost in the pleasure.
She let her head fall back, eyes pinned shut in pleasure, Johnny smirked at the sight he had drilled into her. “So pretty for me” he growled, his hand firmly grasping her neck “Look at me when I fuck you, baby” he demanded. Her eyes flew open, her lips parted as little moans and pans ran through her throat. He took his thumb and caressed her bottom lip.
He swiftly pulled out, flipping her on her back. He brought her hips up to his as he slammed into her once more God- he loved how easily he could use her, plus, it was a hell of a view, one he’d missed. “You like how deep I am?” he leaned down near here ear, fucking her relentlessly.
“Yes” She screams into her pillow, tearing of pleasure harboring at her lash line. She felt the coil inside her begin to undo itself.
He snapped his hips into her, his strokes getting slower and deeper “That's my girl.” He felt her tiger getting around him, he knew she was close to being finished. “Say my fucking name baby” he begs, getting lost in his own pleasure, being inside her was almost too much to handle.
She grips her bedsheets, her arch getting weaker as she approaches her climax. “Johnny! God, Johnny… Please Johnny” she cries out, tightening around him as her whole body is hit with weaves of ecstasy. This drives Johnny over the edge as he pulls out and paints her back with his cum. “Fucking-Shit..” he curses as hee strokes out the remaining fluids, admiring his work.
She lays there, quivering underneath him. He wipes the remaining evidence off her with his shirt, then collapses onto the bed next to her, the afterglow of their passionate encounter still lingering in the air. He wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close, as he let out a content sigh. "That was incredible," he whispered, his voice laced with a hint of awe. He pressed a soft kiss to the top of her head, savoring the moment. "I've missed you so damn much, babe."
"I've missed you" she says trying to catch her breath. "I love you Johnny, I'm glad you broke into my room" she giggles.
Johnny chuckles, his heart swelling at her words. "I love you too," he says, his voice filled with sincerity. "And don't worry, I'll break in again if I have to." He nuzzles her hair, inhaling her scent. "I couldn't stay away from you any longer. I had to see you, touch you, be with you.”
She kisses his shoulder, "Johnny, do you think you can stay the night?" she asks. He used to spend the night all of the time, he'd sneak over and leave when he wanted because she had a lock on her door.
Johnny smiles softly, his heart swelling at her request. "Of course, babe," he says, his arms tightening around her. "I'll stay as long as you want me to. I don't ever want to leave your side again." He kisses her forehead, feeling a sense of contentment wash over him. "Just like old times, right?"
"Right" she smiled, resting her head and arm on his chest, listening to his heart thump in his chest. The sound makes a wave of peace wash over her, it's so soothing and cyclical. Her eyes slowly shut as she drifts back into a deep sleep.

Soft Johnny SF
Word count: 1k
The vibrant glow of neon lights dances off the mini-golf course at Golf N’ Stuff as Johnny and his girlfriend step onto the first hole. There’s a lively crowd around, but Johnny barely seems to notice anyone but her. His hand rests at the small of her back as he guides her toward the starting point, his eyes flickering with that soft, protective spark he only shows when she's around.
He hands her a putter, a teasing smile tugging at his lips. “Think you can keep up with me?” he asks, eyebrow raised in challenge. She gives him a shy smile, but he catches the uncertainty in her eyes.
Without a word, he steps behind her, gently placing his hands over hers on the putter. His arms wrap around her, his breath warm by her ear as he murmurs, “Here, let me help.” He guides her hands, helping her find the right angle, then leans back, watching as she gives the ball a soft tap. It rolls down the green and lands a few inches from the hole.
“Nice one!” he says with a grin, giving her an encouraging nudge. "Guess I’ll have to step up my game."
As he takes his turn, she notices a guy from a nearby group glance over. He walks up, a confident smirk on his face. “Hey,” he says, leaning a little too close for comfort. “Haven’t seen you here before. You, uh, need any tips on your swing?”
Before she can respond, Johnny steps in, his jaw set and eyes narrowed. He moves to her side, his arm sliding protectively around her waist. “She’s fine,” Johnny says, his voice firm, making it clear he’s not interested in any competition.
The guy raises his hands, laughing it off. “All right, man, just saying hi.”
"Yeah well don't, not unless you want to be 6 feet under" Johnny spat, pulling her closer.
As he walks away, Johnny turns to you, his intense expression softening as he brushes a strand of hair behind your ear. “Sorry, you know how I get" he says embarrassed at his over-reaction.
"I know" she blushes, standing on her tiptoes to kiss his cheek. She paints her golf club at the hole they are aiming for "Go on Lawrence" she teased "Show me what you got."
Johnny gives her a smug grin, his competitive streak still burning. "Nice try, but you still have a long way to go to catch up," he taunts playfully, enjoying the friendly rivalry between them. As she starts walking toward the next hole, he stays glued at her side, his arm instinctively finding its place at the small of her back. Every guy they pass on the course gets a quick death stare from Johnny, a silent warning to keep their distance.
"Don't think I didn’t notice that guy checking you out," he mutters, his expression darkening slightly.
She looks at him, confusion in her eyes "I didn't notice, plus he wasn't anyway." She gives him a reassuring smile, his gorgeous hair lays messily on his forehead.
Johnny's eyes search hers for a moment before softening at the reassurance in her smile. "Guess maybe I'm just a little paranoid," he admits, his voice tinged with a hint of guilt. "I just can't stand the thought of anyone looking at my girl that way." The possessiveness in his voice is undeniable, but it's mixed with a vulnerable insecurity, as if he's scared of losing her if he lets his guard down.
She offers him a lopsided smile, rubbing his back with her free hand "You're the only one I got eyes for Johnny, I'm crazy about you. Don't you forget that."
Johnny smiles back, her reassurance bringing a sense of warmth to his heart. "Thanks, babe," he says, placing a soft kiss on her forehead. "You know how much you mean to me, right? I just... I can't help it. I get so protective... I just don't know what I'd do without ya."
"Well you don't have to worry about that" she winks. As they continue playing Johnny can't help but notice how beautiful she is, how the light captures her face, her small frame near his, the sound of that perfect laugh.
When they wrap up, he gets an idea, he isn't much for romance but for her, it was easy. "Say," he grabs her hand "What do you think about getting on the ferris wheel for a while, huh?" She blushes and nods her head "that sounds like a perfect idea."
Johnny leads her to the ferris wheel, his fingers interlaced with hers. The ride operator, a greasy middle-aged man, gives them a knowing smile as they approach. "Have fun up there, lovebirds," he remarks. Johnny just rolls his eyes, his attention firmly on her.
As they're strapped into their seat and the ferris wheel starts its slow ascent, Johnny's hand finds hers again, his thumb tracing soothing circles on her palm. Johnny's gaze remains fixed on her, admiring her beauty in the softly glowing evening light.
She notices him staring and tilts her head to the side "What is it baby?" she brushes his hair away from his eyes, their pupils dilating for each other.
Johnny blinks, coming out of his trance of admiration. "Nothin', just still can't get over how damn lucky I am," he admits, a rare moment of vulnerability showing in his voice. "You're beautiful, you know that? And I'm the one who gets to hold you like this." He pulls her close, her head resting against his chest.
She nuzzles into his arms, his muscular form sucking her in. He smells like a mix of cologne and the leather he always wears. "I know it Johnny" she hums, closing her eyes as she relishes in the moment.
Johnny tightens his grip around her, enjoying the warmth of her body pressed against him. As they make their way to the top of the ferris wheel, the view of the city stretches out in front of them, all lit up in a beautiful blanket of twinkling lights. The cool night air rustles their hair, and for a moment, it feels like they're the only two people in the world.
He kisses the top of her head, whispering softly, "I love you, babe. More than anything."

Grapevine
Summary: Flirty reader x Johnny. Reader is newly single and johnny gets the nerve to ask out his long-time crush.
Warnings: Swearing, fluff
Word Count: 7.9k
The Cobra Kai dojo pulsed with energy. The sharp thud of fists hitting pads blended with the sound of rock music blaring from a small stereo in the corner. Johnny Lawrence wiped the sweat from his brow, tossing his hair back as he turned to his buddies.
"Bobby, turn that up!" Johnny called out, motioning toward the stereo. His friends chuckled as Bobby cranked the volume, and the beat of Def Leppard’s "Rock of Ages" filled the room.
Johnny hit the bag a few more times, but his focus started to drift. Between drills, he caught a glimpse out the window. Across the street, sitting on the curb with her friends, was her.
He watched as she laughed, casually licking an ice cream cone. She was gorgeous—usually with a boyfriend who was some hotshot on the football team.
Johnny's jaw clenched as he landed another punch. "You're staring again," Tommy called out, smirking as he took off his gloves. He'd noticed how Johnny's attention always drifted when she was nearby.
Johnny rolled his eyes but didn’t deny it. "Yeah, so?"
Tommy tossed his gloves onto the bench and leaned against the wall, lowering his voice. "Heard something interesting, though." Johnny raised an eyebrow, only half-interested. “What if I told you she might not have a boyfriend anymore?”
Johnny's eyebrows shot up, turning his full attention to Tommy. He feigned indifference, but his heart thumped in his chest. The thought that she was single now made a flicker of hope spark within him.
"What makes you think that?" he asked, trying to maintain a neutral tone. He focused on unwrapping his boxing gloves to cover his growing curiosity.
Tommy laughs, he can tell Johnny is hooked on his story. “Well— apparently they’ve been broken up since last month. Guess he got drunk and never went to her birthday or something” Tommy shrugged “That’s what I heard from her friend Amy.”
Johnny's knuckles whitened as he balled his free hand into a fist involuntarily. Hearing that the guy she had been dating had blown off her birthday fueled a strange mix of anger and satisfaction in him.
"No way," he muttered, his voice catching on his words. He had been aware of her boyfriend and their seemingly perfect relationship, but the idea that she was single now was nearly too good to be true.
Tommy nodded “Yeah man, she was totally pissed about it, Amy said she threw all of his clothes in the ocean, and got her landline changed so he’d stop calling.” The other boys come around to listen, hearing the newest gossip.
Johnny's eyes widened as the tale unfolded. It was hard to hide his growing excitement, especially now that he had an audience. He could picture her, fiery and livid, tossing her ex's belongings into the waves. The idea that she was passionate and feisty only added to her appeal.
“The hot ones are always the hardest to let go” Dutch whistles “Poor guy” he added, sarcastically.
Johnny snorted, rolling his eyes as Dutch spoke. "Yeah, poor guy," he echoed, his voice filled with sarcasm. Though his words mirrored the sentiment, the last thing he felt like doing was having pity on her ex. In fact, he enjoyed the thought of him miserable, especially now that he had the chance to swoop in.
Bobby nudged him “Dude you’ve had the hots for her since, like forever. You should make a move.”
A mixture of hope and anxiety churned inside of Johnny as he considered Bobby's words. He'd spent so much time on the sidelines, watching her with other boys, that the thought of finally having a chance felt both thrilling and terrifying.
He took a deep breath, trying to steady his voice. "I don’t know, man," he said, stalling. He cast a sidelong glance out the window again. She was still there, giggling with her friends, seemingly unaware of his internal struggle.
The newest Van Halen booms over the speakers as the boys try to hype him up. “Come on man, you know chicks love the Gi” Dutch gestures to the karate attire they’re all wearing. “Not as much as they love you eating dirt, Dutch” Tommy flies into Ditches side with a side kick, knocking Dutch oven.
Johnny laughed at Dutch’s expense, the small interaction a helpful distraction from his nervous thoughts. He could picture her swooning over him in his signature Gi. The thought was almost laughable considering his history with girls.
Dutch grumbled getting to his feet. “Hey man, I’m just saying— chicks dig the uniform, you know I’m right!”
The guys laugh as Dutch attempts to defend himself. As the conversation continues, Bobby throws an arm around Johnny’s shoulder’s and gives him a reassuring smirk.
“Look man, you don’t gotta ask her out today, but at least go talk to her. You have to try or you’re gonna miss your shot.”
“She’s a smoke show, once word gets out, the flocks gonna come” Tommy reasons.
Johnny’s stomach churned at the thought of other guys flocking to her, but he knew the guys had a point. Letting this opportunity slip away would be a mistake. He exhaled slowly, steadying himself before he spoke.
“Okay,” he finally agreed, “I’ll go talk to her. But I swear, if any of you tag along I’ll kick all your asses.”
“She’s all yours, guy” Jimmy smiles cheekily.
Johnny rolled his eyes at Jimmy’s comment. He could always count on his friends to be a pain in his ass. But deep down, he was thankful for their support—even if it was laced with sarcasm.
He took a moment to adjust his Gi, running a hand through his hair and straightening his headband. He exhaled deeply, readying himself to make the short trek across the road to her.
She sat with her friends, sipping a soda, as they looked at the newest edition of teen beat with Micheal J Fox as the centerfold. “He’s so dreamy” cooed her friend Sarah. “I don’t see the appeal” she pretended to gag.
The group of girls laughed at her exaggerated expression. The conversation carried on, debating the merits of 80s heartthrobs while Sarah continued to rave about Michael J Fox.
Outside, Johnny watched the scene through the dojo window, summoning the courage to approach her. His heart continued to beat furiously in his chest as he finally steeled himself to cross the street.
“Dude, she’s not getting any younger” Tommy called out.
Johnny shot a withering glare over his shoulder toward his friends. “Yeah, yeah,” he said, his voice full of annoyance. He wasn’t sure who he was more frustrated with, his friends or himself for having to be pushed to talk to her.
He turned back toward the window, watching as the group of girls continued to chat. Taking a deep breath, he pushed out the front door of the dojo and started across the street.
They looked over the magazine still. Flipping the flimsy pages as one of her other friends nudges her. “Don’t look now but, Johnny Lawrence is totally coming over and he totally has his eyes on you!” her friend whispered. She tried not to look, “No way” she said in disbelief.
The news sends a ripple of excitement through the group of girls. They all turn toward the approaching Johnny, trying to hide their grins of anticipation.
Her friend pokes her again, nodding in Johnny’s direction. “I’m serious! And he looks hot in his gi.”
She looks up to confirm their rambling. It was true, he was getting closer by the second. Her heart rate quickened, but he could be going over there for any of them, surely not her.
Johnny’s steps felt heavy under the weight of his own nerves. He tried to keep his expression cool and casual as he got closer to where the group of girls were still huddled.
Finally, he found himself a few paces away, his palms suddenly sweaty. He managed a small smile, hoping it didn’t come off as nervous as he felt.
“Hey, mind if I talk to you for a second?” he asked, directing the question at her. He tried to ignore the flutter in his stomach as he spoke.
“Me?” she pointed to herself, not believing this was actually happening, a blush starting to form on her cheeks.
Johnny chuckled at her response, unable to hide a grin now. Her rosy cheeks fueled the fire within him, and any lingering nerves were quickly replaced by confidence.
“Yeah, you,” he affirmed, his voice clear and smooth.
She stood up from the sidewalk, walking away with him to a spot away from her friends. She turned around, quirking her brows at her friends. Johnny and her stopped near a telephone pole, equal distance from her friends and the dojo.
As they walked, Johnny glanced over his shoulder toward the dojo. His friends were watching through the window, waiting with bated breath to see what would happen.
When they reached the telephone pole, he turned to face her. Up close, she was even more beautiful than he remembered. He couldn’t help but notice how she fidgeted with her hair as she looked up at him with a mix of curiosity and hope.
“So,” he began, clearing his throat. “I have a question for you.”
She smiled, she wasn’t sure what his angle was, but she sure as hell wasn’t minding getting to look at him in that gi. “Sure, what is it?” she responds.
Johnny smirked, enjoying how easily he seemed to be flustering her. He took a step closer, leaning his back against the pole, his confidence growing.
“You're single now, right?” he asked, trying to keep his tone casual. But his pulse quickened, knowing this was the make-or-break of this entire conversation.
“Yeah, how did you know?” she smirked. She always used to catch him looking at her, one time at a party when he was drunk he even said she had a nice rack. Secretly she knew he always wanted her in some way, even if it was just physical.
He shrugged, the gesture feigning nonchalance. “I heard a few things,” he said, not wanting to give too much away. “So, no more hotshot football player boyfriend?”
She shook her head “Nope, benched him a few weeks ago” she replies slickly. She can’t help but notice how his hair sticks out over his headband, and how cute it is.
Johnny chuckled at her response. She was witty, he had to give her that. He shoved his hands into the pockets of his gi, trying to act nonchalant.
"Oh, really? And why's that?" he asked, already knowing the answer but wanting to hear it from her.
“I thought you had spies that told you everything about me” she flirts. She was still kind of surprised he knew her and her ex broke up.
The conversation was starting to feel easier, even downright enjoyable.
He leaned a little closer, enjoying the scent of her perfume. "Maybe I do,” he counters, “But I wanted to hear it straight from the source."
“Didn’t peg you for much of a gossiper” she teases. “I broke up with him because he was being an ass hole, forgot my birthday” She shrugged it off, telling him the things he already heard from Tommy.
Johnny nodded in agreement, feigning surprise although he knew the story. “What a dumb ass,” he muttered. “I can’t believe he blew off your birthday. It’s like the one thing a guy should always remember.”
“Actually, there’s two more: Anniversary, and when to call,” she joked. She had a natural charm to her, that’s probably why half of the Valley can’t get over its obsession with her.
Johnny let out a sharp laugh, genuinely surprised by her quick-witted response. No one had ever called him out on that, aside from the boys.
He smiled wider at her, intrigued by her confidence. “I guess I should be writing all of that down, huh?”
“I charge by the hour, by lessons as well,” she joked.
Johnny laughed again. “I'll have to start saving up, then.”
He found himself enjoying her sense of humor more than he'd expected. The fact that she could keep up with him was unexpected, but not unwelcome.
He looked at her, his gaze lingering for a beat longer than it should. He could feel his heart pounding as he took her in—her soft blonde hair, her sparkling eyes, her rosy cheeks.
“Yeah, guess you’ll have to quit karate to afford me,” she laughs. It’s all jokes, but she can’t help it. He made it too easy to fall into this flirtatious back and forth.
He feigned offense, placing his hand on his chest dramatically. “I’d never give up karate, no matter how much I’d have to pay to keep you talking to me.”
Johnny leaned in a little closer, feeling emboldened by her playful banter. His eyes darted from her eyes to her lips and back again.
She bites back a grin, she knew exactly what Johnny was trying to do. “You don’t have to pay me for this conversation— I'll only let it slide this one time” she teases him.
Johnny chuckled, taking her banter in stride. He leaned a little closer, his shoulder now nearly touching hers. “I appreciate the discount," he said, his voice dropping to a lower octave. "You drive a hard bargain, you know that?"
She giggles, he was charismatic and cute, not to mention that sexy karate uniform. She didn’t entirely hate this conversation.
Johnny smiled wider at the sound of her laughing. It was like music to his ears. He felt his confidence growing with each passing second, her giggles fueling the fire inside of him.
He shifted his weight, turning to face her. He was close enough to feel the heat of her body. He lowered his voice, his tone dropping to something more serious. "Can I ask you something else?"
“Depends on what it is,” she says softly.
Johnny took a breath, trying to ignore the way her voice made his heart skip a beat. He glanced toward the dojo, where his friends were still watching. They all had grins on their faces, knowing what was at stake.
He looked back at her, steeling himself.
“I wanted to ask you... if you’d go out with me. This Saturday.”
It was a simple question, but he held his breath, waiting for her response.
She hit the inside of her cheek from excitement, trying to hold back the immediate yes that flooded her mind. “Like, on a date?” she queried.
Johnny nodded, his heart feeling like a jackhammer in his chest. "Yeah, like on a date."
He suddenly felt nervous now that he’d actually asked her. But her reaction gave him some hope—she hadn’t said no and he hadn’t seen any looks of repulsion at the idea of going out with him.
She decided to tease him a little further before giving him a satisfactory answer. “Why do you want to go on a date with me?” she asks, a hint of playfulness in her tone.
Johnny let out an exaggerated sigh. She was going to make him work for it.
A small smile tugged at his lips. “Because you haven’t run away yet.”
“There’s still time,” she teased.
Johnny chuckled, shaking his head. “I guess I better talk fast, then.”
“You think I'm cute or something?” she teased him.
He feigned surprise. “What? You? Cute? No way.”
Johnny laughed, a look of faux skepticism on his face. He took another step closer, less than a foot away from her now.
“Aw bummer” she shrugs “Cuz i think you’re pretty cute” she begins to walk away, she’s too smooth for her own good.
Johnny’s heart skipped a beat as she began to saunter away. Damn, she was good. No way was he letting her get away like that.
He grabbed her wrist, gently pulling her back to face him. The contact sent a shiver through his body, their faces just inches apart again. “Wait wait, you can't just walk away from me like that.”
“You can tell me why I can’t on saturday” she grins “8 o’clock, i live at the last house on mulberry.”
Johnny chuckled, shaking his head. She definitely knew how to play the game.
“It’s a date, then” he said, a satisfied smirk on his face. “But if you try to stand me up, I’m gonna be pissed.”
“Even if I do, I'm still charging you” she smirks, in honesty, she couldn’t wait.
Johnny raised an eyebrow, a look of mock concern on his face. “I’m starting to think you’re just in it for the money.”
He couldn’t help the excitement building up inside of him. He’d actually got a date with her - beautiful, witty, and charming as hell. The butterflies in his stomach felt like they were about to take flight.
She giggles, “I’ll see you Saturday, Johnny lawrence.”
He watched as she walked back to her friends, her hips swaying with each step. He could feel his heart pounding from the adrenaline and the excitement coursing through his veins.
He turned away, walking back to the dojo and the four grinning faces of his friends waiting for him.
Once Johnny walked through the door, Dutch put his arm around him “So man, what happened out there?”
Johnny shrugged, trying to act casual, but the grin on his face wouldn’t falter.
“I got a date on Saturday,” he said, his voice dripping with satisfaction.
“How the hell did you pull that off man?” Tommy goes wild. “Yeah, it looked like she had you really working for it” Bobby ribs him.
Johnny chuckled, waving off their comments. “Yeah, she definitely made me work for it,” he admitted. “But it was totally worth it.”
He started walking toward the locker rooms, the thrill of his victory still coursing through his veins.
“And was she totally checking the gi or what?”Dutch asked, wondering if his advice worked.
He tried to keep his cool, even though the thought of her checking him out made his heart skip a beat.
“Oh yeah,” he said nonchalantly. “She was definitely checking out the gi. How could she not, right?”
“Right man,” Jimmy chuckled. “Might have made her switch teams from football to karate.”
Johnny laughed, joining in on the jokes. “Who needs a quarterback when you can have the All-Valley champ?”
He opened his locker to start changing out of his gi. Even as he changed, his mind was still filled with thoughts of her.
“Atta boy” Tommy cheers.
Johnny continued changing, a look of sheer gratification on his face. He couldn’t believe his luck. Against all odds, he’d actually managed to score a date with the girl of his dreams.
As he finished getting changed into street clothes, he made a mental note to be on time come saturday. There was no way he was gonna risk blowing this opportunity.
*Fast forward to Saturday*
Johnny spent most of the day getting ready for his date. He showered, shaved, and picked out his best outfit. He spent more time than necessary fixing his hair, trying to get that perfect balance of casual and stylish.
Finally, it was time to go. He checked himself one last time in the mirror, giving himself a reassuring nod. It was time to pick her up.
She put on an outfit that was sure to knock his socks off, she figured if he went through all of her teasing and taunts a few days ago, he should at least have a hot date. A black form shitting long sleeve, with jeans that fit her rear just right.
She did the finishing touch on her makeup as she eyed outside of her bedroom window, waiting for his rod to pull into her driveway.
The drive to her house felt like it took forever. All the way there, Johnny’s heart was pumping with excitement. The radio played some 80’s love hits, which only made him feel more anxious and eager to see her.
When he pulled into her driveway, he double-checked himself in the rearview mirror. Taking a deep breath, he stepped out of the car and made his way to her front door.
She watched Johnny approach the door, running down the stairs to hear him rasp on the door. She felt a surge of nervousness take over her, this was the first date she’d been out on since the breakup, she hoped it was gonna go well.
When she opened the door, he nearly lost his breath. She looked incredible. Wearing a figure-hugging outfit that showed off her curves, makeup that enhanced her natural beauty, she looked better than he could’ve ever imagined.
He took a second to compose himself, raking in the sight of her with a hungry gaze, before smiling. “Hey.”
She smiled, closing the door behind her as the cool night air nipped at her cheeks. “Hi” she said softly, “No gi tonight?” she joked. He cleaned up nice, she thought to herself.
He chuckled, looking down at his outfit. He'd chosen a simple but stylish look - jeans, a button-down shirt, and a leather jacket.
"No, no gi tonight," he replied, a cheeky smile on his face. "Thought I should mix it up a bit."
He took in her outfit once more, trying not to let his gaze linger. "You look amazing, by the way."
Her makeup concealed her real blush, hidden under the powder. “Thanks, you don’t look so bad yourself” She flirts, walking down the front steps with Johnny to his car.
Johnny had to stop himself from grinning like an idiot. Her compliment made his heart skip a beat, just like it had on the telephone pole.
He opened the car door for her, a charming smile on his face. "Ready?”
She nodded as she slid in, his car was surprisingly cleaner than she would have thought. Some karate gear in the back seat, along with some school books. It smelt like cologne and stale cigarettes, almost intoxicating.
He shut the door after her, making his way to the driver's side, trying to ignore the flutters in his stomach. As he settled into the driver's seat, he glanced in her direction, noticing her taking notice of the contents in his car.
He chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "Sorry about the mess," he said, gesturing to the karate gear in the back. "I was training earlier today."
She shook her head as if to say ‘it’s okay.’ “It’s not messy” she simply replies, turning to him. “So, what did you have planned?”
Johnny started the engine, pulling out of the driveway and onto the street. He gave her a sly smile. “Well, I thought we could start by grabbing a bite to eat, maybe taking it to the beach?”
He glanced over at her, taking in the sight of her once more. Her perfume filled his nostrils, making his heart beat even faster in his chest.
As their sprayed scents mingled, making a deadly combination, she smiled “Yeah, that sounds really good actually.” She could hardly believe he had a plan, guys usually just stare at you until you pick something to do. “Any idea where you want to take out from?”
He shrugged, his attention shifting back to the road. "I was thinking we could grab some pizza. There's a place just down the beach where they’ve got the best mozzarella sticks."
Johnny looked over at her again, the street lights providing the perfect illumination of her face. "Or if there's anywhere else you want to go, I'm cool with that too.”
“Pizza sounds good, I'm a sucker for a classic cheese” She giggled. She glanced over at Johnny, his hands positioned on the steering wheel in a way that would make any girls heart beat faster. The slight smirk that hung on Johnny's lips made it really hard for her to bite back her own.
Johnny felt her gaze on him, a wave of heat washing over his skin. He glanced over at her again, noticing the way her eyes lingered on his mouth. A rush of excitement coursed through him.
He tried to stay focused on the road, but his mind kept drifting back to her. The sight of her, sitting next to him, the scent of her perfume filling the car.... It was all driving him wild.
He cleared his throat, trying to keep his composure. “So, uh... have you been to any parties lately?”
She turns back to the road, “Yeah a few. Marissas, Dave’s keg party, I was even at Jimmys for a second a few weeks ago” she lists her whereabouts. “I actually saw you there— but you were totally plastered” she giggles.
Johnny chuckled, somewhat embarrassed at the memory. "Right... I was pretty wasted that night."
He looked over at her again, his gaze roaming over her face, taking in the way the light of the street lamp flickered against her skin.
"I uh... don't remember much from that night," he admitted, heat creeping into his cheeks.
A playful grin plays on her lips, as does an increased blush. “I remember something pretty specific about that night— about you” she teases Johnny.
His heart skipped a beat. "Oh yeah? What do you remember?"
He kept his eyes on the road, trying to keep his cool, but the sound of her voice and the hint of mischief in her tone was enough to drive him wild.
“You uh” she starts quietly “You told me.. I had a nice rack.” She bursts out laughing at his expense.
Johnny felt his cheeks heat up, a mix of embarrassment and disbelief on his face. "I.... did I say that? Damn..."
He chuckled awkwardly, running a hand through his hair. "I’m sorry about that,” he said sheepishly. "I think I was way too drunk that night."
She shakes it off, still giggling “It’s okay, really” she assures him “It just sort of came out of nowhere.”
Johnny sighed, rubbing a hand over his face. The thought of his drunken self saying something so inappropriate to her made him feel like a complete tool.
He glances over at her, a hint of remorse in his eyes. "I really don’t know what came over me that night," he said sincerely. "I can’t remember much, but I do remember thinking you looked pretty cute."
She looks at Johnny, damn he was quick with recovery. She hummed in acceptance as she finished stifling laughter from the memory.
They made it to the pizza place just a few minutes later, it was right across from the beach. He opened the door for her to climb out and then they headed inside.
Johnny held the door open for her, taking a deep breath as she passed by. He followed her into the pizza place, the aroma of pepperoni and cheese filling his nostrils.
As they approached the counter, he let his gaze wander over her. The way her outfit clung to her curves made it hard for him to focus.
He ordered a large cheese pizza and a basket of mozzarella sticks, his focus divided between the cashier and the girl next to him.
He paid for the food, then a few moments later took it to go, walking toward the beach. The moon reflected off of the ocean, cascading light to the shore. They sat a few yards from the waves, opening the food and indulging.
They both sat on the sand, the cool night air and the sound of the waves providing a romantic backdrop for their date.
Johnny watched as she took a bite of the pizza, his heart skipping a beat as she closed her eyes in pleasure. He took a mozzarella stick, chewing it as he tried to think of something to say.
"So, uh... besides watching me embarrass myself at parties, what do you do for fun?"
“ Well” she finishes chewing “I do lots of stuff. Bike around with friends, go to the mall, listen to music.”
He nods, taking in her answer. He could definitely imagine her riding around on a bike, the wind in her hair and a carefree smile on her face. "Music, huh?" he asks, his interest piqued. "What kind of music do you like?"
“Rock mostly, some pop” she takes another bite, watching the wind from the sea meds with Johnny's hair.
Johnny smiled, appreciating her taste in music. "Me too," he said. “Although I gotta admit, I have a bit of a soft spot for some love songs."
He takes another mozzarella stick, his gaze lingering on her face for a moment before he looks out at the sea. Even in the dim moonlight, she looked absolutely stunning.
“Oh yeah?” she teases, secretly loving his confession. “Which ones your favorite?”
Johnny chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck bashfully. "Oh man, that’s a tough one."
He took a moment to think, his eyes flicking back and forth as he tried to choose. "But if I had to pick one..." he grins.
"I’d say it's ‘Faithfully’ by Journey."
He caught her by surprise, she didn’t peg him for a romantic. “That one’s pretty good, I bought the album on vinyl when it came out last year.”
Johnny’s eyes widened in surprise. “You have it on vinyl?” he asked, clearly impressed. “That’s pretty cool."
He took a bite of his pizza, watching her with a newfound respect. The fact that she not only knew the song, but actually owned the album in its most authentic form, made his heart skip a beat.
“Yeah” she took a sip of her drink”Maybe you can come by sometime and listen with me. I have a bunch of records, all pretty good if I do say so myself” she offers, a hint of nervousness in her voice, she wasn’t used to asking guys to hang out. They always asked her.
Johnny nearly choked on his pizza at her invitation. The idea of going over to her house and listening to her records made his heart skip a beat.
He tried to play it cool, a sly smile on his face. "That sounds pretty awesome," he said. "I’d love to come check out your collection sometime."
She looked at him with soften eyes “Cool.” She picked up her final slice of pizza as she began to bite into it. “How about you, what are some of your hobbies?”
Johnny took a moment to ponder the question as he munched on his pizza. "Hmm, well I guess my biggest hobby is karate," he admitted. "It's been a big part of my life for a while now."
He thought for a moment, racking his brain to think of something else. "And I guess... I like riding my motorcycle when I get the chance."
“Motorcycle, huh?” she says curiously, he really was some rebel. It was kind of intriguing, and made her want to know all about him.
Johnny nodded, unable to keep the hint of pride out of his tone. "Yeah, I picked one up a few months ago. It's a Kawasaki."
He couldn't help the flash of excitement as he talked about his bike. It was one of his favorite things, and the thought of her being impressed by it made his heart beat a little faster.
“Way cool,” she smiles, taking another bite of her pizza.
He grinned, feeling a rush of adrenaline at her interest. "Thanks," he said. "Maybe I could take you for a ride sometime. If you want."
He took a sip of his drink, hoping he didn’t sound too eager. But the thought of her arms wrapped around him, the wind in their hair as they rode through the city, was an enticing image.
she grinned “yeah, i’d like that a lot actually”
Johnny's smile grew wider, her enthusiasm evident. "Great," he said confidently. "How about this weekend? We can go for a ride and find a cool place to hang out."
He leaned back slightly, his gaze lingering on her a moment longer before shifting back to the sea. "It'll be a blast, I promise."
“Well it’s already Saturday, so wanna do tomorrow night?”
Johnny nodded enthusiastically at the suggestion. "Tomorrow night sounds perfect. I'll pick you up around 7?"
He couldn't help the grin that spread across his face. The idea of spending more time with her, riding through the city on his bike, was exhilarating. He could hardly wait.
As they finished up their meal, Johnny took a moment to study her face. The way the moonlight hit her skin made her look even more beautiful than before. His gaze lingered on her lips, the memory of almost kissing her earlier sending a jolt through his body.
He glanced at her, noticing her finishing up as well. "Are you ready to head back?" he asked, his voice soft.
She turned back to him “Yeah i’m ready”
He rose to his feet, offering a hand to help her up as well. "Cool, let's go then."
Once she was standing, he held on to her hand for a moment longer than necessary. "Thanks for coming out tonight," he said softly, his gaze locked on hers. "I had a really good time."
She smiled at Johnny “yeah, i did too.” They get in the car.
Johnny opened the car door for her, watching as she slid into the passenger seat. He made his way to the other side, sliding in behind the wheel.
As they pulled away from the beach, the radio played softly in the background. Johnny glanced over at She, the glow of the streetlights illuminating her face. He couldn't help but smile, unable to contain his happiness.
It was a quiet ride home, in comfortable silence. Once he got back to her house, he opened the car door and began walking her back to her front door. “Thanks Johnny”
"Of course," Johnny responded confidently, walking beside her. “Thanks for coming out tonight with me.”
They reached her front doorstep, and he turned to face her. His heart was racing, but he kept his cool exterior. He didn’t want the night to end, but he also didn’t want to push for something she might not be ready for. So he took a deep breath, looked into her eyes, and simply said, “Goodnight.”
“night” she opened her front door, disappearing behind the wood.
Johnny watched as she stepped inside, his heart still beating rapidly in his chest. He took a moment to take a deep breath, trying to calm his nerves.
As he walked back to his car, he couldn't shake the feeling of excitement that was swelling within him. He knew this was the start of something special.
She stood there for a second, turning back around and opening the door “Johnny, wait!” she said, running down the steps toward him.
Johnny had just reached his car, his hand on the handle, when she called out to him. He paused, turning around to see her running towards him. "Yeah?" he asked, a mix of surprise and hope in his voice.
She stopped right in front of him, took one look into his beautiful blue eyes, and kissed him, a short but desperate kiss. She pulls back.
Johnny was taken aback by her sudden kiss. It was quick, but passionate, and it sent a jolt of electricity through his whole body. His lips tingle from the sensation, and his heart raced like never before.
He stood there for a moment in surprise, his eyes locked on hers. Then, without a word, he pulled her closer, pressing his lips to hers in a more intense and lingering kiss.
her hands went to the back of johnny's neck, tilting her head to deepen the kiss.
Johnny wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer as the kiss grew more intense. He could feel her hands in his hair, her body pressed against his. It was exhilarating and intoxicating, and he wanted to memorize every moment of it.
They broke apart for a moment, both of them panting and flushed. Johnny ran a hand through his hair, trying to catch his breath. "Wow," he said, his voice hoarse. "That was... wow."
“yeah” she breathed, her lips plump from the assault. “So tomorrow at 7, don’t be late” she teased as she walked back into her house.
Johnny watched her disappear behind her front door, a wide grin spreading across his face. "Wouldn't dream of it," he called out, feeling like his heart was about to burst.
He got back in his car, his mind racing as he replayed the moment over and over in his head. He couldn't wait for tomorrow night.
The next day at training, the boys at the dojo press him. “So Johnny” Tommy smirks “how did your hot date with her go last night?”
Johnny rolled his eyes, trying to suppress a grin. "It was alright, I guess," he said, downplaying it. He knew the guys were just teasing him, and he didn't want to give them the satisfaction of knowing how well it actually went.
They looked at each other “just alright?” Jimmy laughed “you took out the hottest chick at west valley, and it was just alright?”
Johnny chuckled, trying to act nonchalant. "Fine, fine. It was pretty damn amazing," he admitted, unable to keep a straight face. "Happy now?"
“That’s awesome man” Tommy patted him on the back. They were all secretly happy for him, jokes aside.
Johnny smiled, appreciating their support. "Thanks guys," he said, feeling a sense of camaraderie with his dojo mates. "I'm seeing her again tonight, so maybe we'll see if it can be even better."
Dutch rubbed him “You scored a second date? Legend!” he chuckled.
“We told you she couldn’t resist you” Jimmy chimed in.
Johnny laughed, feeling a mix of pride and shyness at their comments. "Yeah, yeah. Let's just hope I don't mess it up tonight," he joked, although there was a hint of nervousness in his tone.
“Just take it slow man, don’t come on too strong” Tommy said.
Johnny nodded, taking in their advice. "Right, right. I'll keep it cool. Can't let my ego get in the way now, can I?"
He knew he had a bit of a reputation for being arrogant and cocky, but he didn't want to let that ruin things with her.
He checked his watch, seeing that he still had a little time before he was supposed to pick her up. "I should probably get going, don't want to be late," he said, gathering his things. "Wish me luck, guys."
"Good luck killer" Dutch teased.
Johnny shot him a playful glare, but he couldn't help but smile. "Thanks man," he said, slinging his bag over his shoulder. "See you guys later."
Johnny shot him a playful glare, but he couldn't help but smile. "Thanks man," he said, slinging his bag over his shoulder. "See you guys later."
Johnny arrived at her house right on time, ringing the doorbell with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. When she opened the door, he tried to remain cool, despite the butterflies he felt in his stomach. "Hey," he greeted her with a smile. "You ready to go?"
"Mhm" she smiled, shutting the door behind her.
Johnny led her to his bike parked in front of her house. He handed her a spare helmet, making sure it fit snugly on her head. "Safety first," he said, his voice gentle but firm. "Just hold on tight, okay?"
She moved her hair back behind her shoulders as Johnny got onto his bike. "Okay" she hummed.
He revved up the engine, feeling the bike vibrate beneath him. "Let's hit the road," he said, his eyes sparkling with adrenaline. He waited for her to climb on behind him, and then they were off.
He weaved through the streets with ease, the cool breeze of the night hitting their faces. He couldn't help but glance back at her a few times, making sure she was enjoying the ride. Her grin gave him his answer.
She hugged him tightly as she watched the city flash by her, resting the side of her head on his back. She couldn't believe how good this felt, being with him, going so fast.
Johnny felt her arms wrap around him, her cheek resting against his back. It felt amazing, and he couldn't help but feel even more drawn to her. He sped up slightly, wanting to show off a little and impress her.
The wind whipped through their hair as they rode through the city, both of them lost in the thrill of the moment. Johnny had never felt so alive.
She smelt the leather on his red jacket, it smelt just like his car, just like him. Her hands began to grip tighter the faster he went.
Johnny felt her squeeze him tighter, her grip on his jacket growing more intense. He couldn't help but grin, loving the feeling of her holding onto him like that. His focus was solely on the road ahead, but his mind kept wandering back to her. As they continued to ride through the city, he couldn't help but feel like he was on top of the world. "You enjoying yourself?" he called back to her over the wind.
She giggles, her laugh mixed with the sounds of the engine "So much fun." She moved her hands to grab his chest.
He could feel her small hands on his chest, and it sent a thrill through his body. Johnny decided to take them on a detour, weaving through the city streets until they reached a spot with a perfect view of the city skyline. He pulled over and turned off the bike. "Hey, you gotta see this," he said, helping her off the bike.
She took off the helmet, placing it on the bikemas she turned to take in the view. "Woah, I've never seen LA from here. It's really something" She gushed, her eyes lit up with the city lights.
Johnny stood beside her, taking in the view as well. But his gaze kept drifting towards her instead, mesmerized by how beautiful she looked in the glow of the city lights. He wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her closer. "I've never brought anyone here before," he admitted, his voice soft. "But I wanted to share this view with you."
She blushed, but couldn't help a teasing comment; "Do you say that to all the girls you ask out on the side of the road?"
Johnny chuckled, shaking his head. "Nah, just you," he said, a hint of sincerity in his tone. "I mean it, though. You're special." He paused for a moment, then added with a playful grin, "And besides, I've never taken someone on my bike before."
She looked bewildered. "You've never taken another girl on your bike before?"
Johnny shook his head, feeling a sense of vulnerability under her surprised gaze. "Nope, never," he said, his usual confident tone giving way to a softer one. "You're the first one, and... I wanted it to be you. I wanted to share something that's important to me."
She felt star struck, she really didn't peg him for being a sentimental guy. "That's actually really sweet, Johnny," she blushed.
Johnny could feel his face heating up, a mix of embarrassment and joy. "Yeah, well," he said, rubbing the back of his neck. "Don't go telling the other guys at the dojo, okay? I've got a reputation to maintain." He flashed her a playful grin.
"Sure thing casanova" she winked, giggling.
Johnny chuckled, shaking his head. "You're gonna be trouble, I can already tell," he teased back, before leading her back towards his bike. "Come on, there's one more place I want to show you."
She put back on the helmet, smiling "Okay sure thing."
Johnny revved up the engine, waiting for her to hop on behind him. Once she was settled, he took off through the city once again. They weaved through the streets, the wind whipping past them as they went. Johnny felt alive, adrenaline pumping through his veins as he drove. He couldn't think of anywhere he'd rather be in that moment than with her, on his bike, showing her a side of himself he rarely showed anyone else. He drove her through backroads until they reached a field, the stars made the valley glow.
She hoped off the bike, looking up and taking in the constellations. It was so beautiful, so vast, and so romantic. "Wow Johnny, this is incredible.." she turns and gushes "the stars look amazing."
"I thought you might like it," Johnny said, his voice softer than usual. He stepped closer to her, taking in the stunning view as well. "You know, I used to spend a lot of time stargazing as a kid," he continued. "My mom would take me camping all the time, and we'd lay out in the field and just look up at the sky for hours."
He paused for a moment, lost in thought. "I haven't done it in years, but being here with you now, it feels like I'm a kid again."
Her heart swelled, never did she imagine him to be so sweet, so vulnerable. "I know what you mean," she says quietly.
Johnny couldn't resist any longer. He slowly leaned in, his eyes locked onto hers. "Hey," he whispered, his voice husky. "Can I..." His words trailed off as he leaned in closer, his lips meeting hers in a tender and heartfelt kiss.
He could feel a spark ignite within him, a warmth spreading through him as they kissed under the starry sky. He pulled her closer, deepening the kiss, wanting to cherish this moment forever.
She blended into his embrace, swiping his bottom gently with her tongue. Her hands roam his sides as her eyes flutter, the desire and passion building with each gasp for air.
The feeling of her tongue against his lip sent shivers down Johnny's spine, and his grip on her tightened. He responded eagerly, allowing her access as he explored her mouth with his own. His hands moved to her hips, pulling her flush against him as the intensity of their kiss grew.
She runs her hands through his hair, pulling him closer by the back of the head as they are locked lips breaks up into pants and gasps.
Johnny's hands roamed over her body, tracing her curves as they kissed passionately under the stars. He broke the kiss momentarily to catch his breath, his breathing ragged and heavy, "You're driving me crazy."
She laughs, still trying to catch her breath. "Yeah, I tend to have that effect," she teases.
Johnny chuckles, shaking his head at her teasing tone. "You're something else, you know that?" he says, his voice still laced with desire. "But I like it. I like you."
She blushes, his admission was blunt and something she wasn't used to. Usually guys are too scared and trying hard to be too slick to actually say how they feel. "I like you too," she says through a small smile.
Johnny grins, feeling a surge of happiness at her words. He gently tucks a stray hair behind her ear, his touch tender and affectionate. "I'm glad," he says softly. "This feels different, you know? Different in a good way."
"Different?" she questioned Johnny.
Johnny ran a hand through his hair, trying to find the right words. "Yeah, different," he said, his tone thoughtful. "It's like... I don't know, I've been with plenty of girls before, but none of them ever made me feel like this. Like there's something more here, something deeper."
He paused, looking into her eyes. "Maybe I'm crazy, but I think we have a shot at something special. Something real."

No strings attached
Summary: Johnny and her have been secretly hooking up, but what if he wants more?
Warnings: Mentions of smut, mainly fluff
Word Count: 2.7k
It was 1984, Johnny Lawrence leaned against the lockers, pretending to listen as his buddies talked about their plans for the weekend. Normally, he’d be right there with them, cracking jokes and planning their next party. But his mind was elsewhere—on her.
He spotted her down the hall, surrounded by her friends, laughing like everything was normal. But it wasn’t. Not for him. Not since the first time they’d hooked up, when it was supposed to be a one-time thing, a secret neither of them would talk about. Except it wasn’t just a one-time thing anymore.
Johnny’s jaw clenched as he felt a wave of frustration wash over him. Why did it have to be her? Why did she have to get under his skin like this? She was different from the girls he usually went for—maybe that’s why he liked her so much. But they both knew the deal. They couldn’t be seen together. His friends wouldn’t get it. They’d give him hell for going after someone who wasn’t part of their crowd.
But the truth was, Johnny was starting not to care. Every time they snuck around, it got harder to act like this was just some fling. He was starting to feel something real, something he hadn’t expected—and he hated how much he wanted more.
Tommy slapped him on the back, dragging his attention back to their conversation. "You alright, man? You’re zoning out.”
Johnny snapped out of his thoughts, feeling Tommy's hand on his back. He forced a smile, trying to hide how worked up he was.
"Yeah, I'm good," he said, clearing his throat. "Just… thinking about something," he replied, darting a quick glance down the hallway to where she still lingered with her friends.
Bobby, who stood beside them, also seemed to have noticed her. His eyes followed Johnny's and a smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth. He could sense their tension.
"Thinking about someone?" Jimmy teased, nudging Johnny's shoulder.
Johnny tensed, the joke hitting close to home.
He shot a glare at Jimmy, trying to play it off. "What? No, man. Relax, alright?" But they could see right through him. He was never this on edge unless it was because of her.
Bobby crossed his arms, a knowing look in his eyes.
"Come on, man. We can tell when you're moping about some girl. You've been different ever since you started hooking up with that chick," he teased.
Johnny clenched his fists, the annoyance growing inside him.
"It's not like that, man," he protested, his voice slightly strained. But even he knew he was kidding himself. The truth was, it was like that. He was so damn conflicted about her. She was his secret vice.
Bobby chuckled, enjoying getting under Johnny's skin. "Oh, yeah. Totally believable. You're just banging her for fun, right? It's not like you're starting to catch feelings or anything," he teased, trying to rile Johnny up even more.
Johnny bristled at Bobby's words, feeling his restraint slipping away.
"I don't have 'feelings,'" he snapped, his voice rising. "It's just... convenience, all right? Nothing more." But he knew he was lying, and so did they.
Jimmy chimed in, poking the bear further. "Just convenience. Right. You're always talking about how she's different from any other girl you've been with. And the way you get all hot and bothered when she's near. Sure looks more than just convenience."
Johnny's face flushed with irritation and a hint of embarrassment. They were right, and they both knew it. But he was damn stubborn and wasn't going to give them the satisfaction of being right.
"You don't know what you're talking about," he growled, his jaw clenching. "You don't know anything about me and her."
She looks over at him, stealing a glance before turning her attention back to her friends. She knows she shouldn't be so obvious, but it's difficult.
She can't help but want more. He is the hottest guy at West Valley, so when they hooked up for the first time it was every girl's dream come true. She couldn't help but fall for him, each meetup getting a little more intimate.
The bell rings as school begins, "come on, let's get to class" her friend marcy goes.
He watched her as she disappeared down the hallway, his eyes lingering on her for a little longer than necessary. She was playing with fire, looking at him like that. It took every ounce of his ironclad willpower to not follow after her.
Johnny clenched his jaw, annoyed with himself for even thinking that. He wasn't supposed to care. This was just a secret thing, a no-strings-attached kind of setup. But the way she looked at him, the way she made him feel... it wasn't supposed to affect him like this.
She couldn't get Johnny out of her head all day. She tried to take notes, listen to lectures, but her mind kept wandering back to him. She hated the hold he had over her, she knew he was a player, a bad boy, everything she should stay away from. But she can't help but feel like there is something beneath his hard outer shell.
The locker room was deserted, the only sound was his footsteps on the hard linoleum floor. He pulled off his school shirt, revealing his muscular physique.
He splashed cold water on his face, hoping to clear his head. But the image of her was still fresh in his mind. She had gotten under his skin, planted a seed that he couldn't shake.
He looked at himself in the mirror, a mixture of anger and desire coursing through him. Why did he let her affect him this way? He was the bad boy, the one they all feared and respected.
He was torn between the need to keep up his tough act and the growing attraction he had for her.
As he toweled off, his mind kept replaying scenes from his last night with her. The taste of her mouth, the feel of her skin, the sound of her voice...
He was in danger of revealing a side of him that had no business coming close to the surface.
She sat at lunch with her friends, noticing he wasn't there. She felt sort of jealous, wondering where he was, who he was with. She shakes off the jealousy, she had to remember their no string attached deal.
She played with the food on her lunch tray, losing her appetite as she got lost in thoughts of Johnny. "Are you okay?" Marcy asked, "You've been in a daze all day." She snaps out of her imagination "Oh yeah.. Just thinking about a test I have today" She lies.
Johnny stood under the showers in the boys' locker room, running cold water over his burning face. His thoughts were a maelstrom of confusion and desire. What the hell was he supposed to do?
For years, he'd been the bad boy, the tough guy with the cold stare and the sharp edge. A player. That's what everyone expected him to be. And so he had been. With her, it was different.
He wanted more. But to admit it, to make him vulnerable... It went against everything he'd built himself to be.
As lunch ends she heads to her next class, her mind still swimming with images of him. It was an all consuming obsession with the untouchable boy.
As she took her test, her mind kept flickering back to images of the night prior; the breathless kisses, the giggles, her legs up in his backseat. It was distracting her fully from the task at hand. 'You're so beautiful’ she remembers, his sweet words echo in her mind.
He made his way out of his last period, his mind in a whirlwind of desire and frustration. As he stepped into the hall, he spotted her standing with her friends, laughing at something one of them had said. She looked so damn beautiful, it made his chest ache.
He wanted to get her alone, somewhere they wouldn't be disturbed. Maybe the parking lot, or his car... Hell, they'd done it in less discreet places. His heart raced in anticipation.
Her and her friends are gossiping about whatever the newest drama was. But she couldn't help but see him look at her, it made her heart nearly stop.
She hadn't seen him since this morning, and she didn't realize how much he made her blaze. She knew she couldn't do anything, she had to use caution especially regarding their situation. She tried to get back into the conversation, though her mind was somewhere else.
As her and her friends wrapped up, she gave them a little wave and got into her car, starting the engine.
As she got into her car, Johnny couldn't resist any longer.
He approached her, leaning against her driver's side door, blocking her escape.
"Going somewhere?" He asked, trying to sound nonchalant.
Her eyes widened, he'd never had the nerve to approach her in public. "Johnny.. what are you doing?" she whispered.
She couldn't believe the guy that made her promise not to tell a soul about their arraignment, was coming up to her in front of a decent part of the school.
"Okay. Well, we can meet somewhere and talk" she said quietly.
He didn't want to wait any longer to be alone with her. The thought of waiting even a few minutes was unbearable.
"My car. Now," he commanded, his voice firm. He knew he was being dominant, but the desire to have her close was overruling his usual control.
“But people will see..” she said, scanning around at the still packed parking lot full of seniors.
He shrugged, unbothered by the potential audience. "Let 'em talk. I don't give a damn."
She looked at him bewildered "But what about our agreement" she hinted.
"To hell with our agreement," he retorted, his voice low and heated. "I can't take it anymore."
"Just come. We'll be quick."
She turns the key out of her ignition, following him to his car as people begin to stare.
Johnny led her to his car, not sparing a glance at the people around them. They were starting to stir now, sensing the tension, whispering and pointing at them.
He opened the passenger door and gestured for her to step inside.
She waits for him to get in, her face getting red as she sees people peering into his car, curious why Johnny and her are alone in his car. "So, what exactly did you need to talk about?"
Johnny looked over at her, his gaze intense and determined.
"I need to ask you something," he said, his voice low. "But I need you to be completely honest with me."
"Okay.." She said quietly, her nerves building by the second. All of this was sudden, she didn't know what to expect.
"Do you ever imagine what it'd be like...if we weren't just a secret hook up? If people could actually know us together?" He asked.
She thinks on it for a second, the first thought that pops into her mind is yes. Obviously, she has thought about that, she had never been into hookups.
"Well.. I guess I have" She shrugs, unsure where this conversation is leading.
He nodded, understanding her response. "Yeah, see, I have too," he said, his voice serious. "Not just a hookup, but actually being together. Everyone is seeing us out in public."
He looked at her, his eyes burning into hers. "What would you say if I said...I think I want that?"
"Johnny, what?" She says she could hardly believe her ears. "You told me you don't do the whole 'girlfriend' thing."
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I know what I told you. I thought that's what I wanted. No strings attached, no messy emotions to deal with."
He looked at her, his gaze intense. "But the truth is...I want more. With you."
Her eyes lit up "You.. you do?" she questions, needing him to say it again so she knows she's not dreaming.
He reached for her, tugging her closer. "Yeah, I do," he said, his voice filled with conviction.
He cupped her face between his hands, his gaze locked with hers. "I want you, all of you. The good, the bad, everything. And I don't want to keep you a secret anymore."
She shakes her head, a little chuckle coming out "Johnny Lawrence, you're something else" she looks into his icy eyes.
He couldn't help the small smile that tugged at the corners of his lips at her response.
"You should see yourself," he murmured, his thumb tracing her cheek gently. "You're the one who's got me so damn confused." He leaned in closer, his lips hovering just an inch away from hers.
He couldn't help the small smile that tugged at the corners of his lips at her response.
"You should see yourself," he murmured, his thumb tracing her cheek gently. "You're the one who's got me so damn confused." He leaned in closer, his lips hovering just an inch away from hers.
"What's so confusing?" She asked Johnny, a playful look in her eyes. She couldn't believe she had the hottest guy in the valley wrapped around her finger.
He chuckled at her playful tone. "You know damn well what's confusing," he shot back, but there was no heat behind his tone.
He pulled her even closer, closing the distance between them until his forehead was touching hers. "And don't think for a second that you don't have me exactly where you want me, 'cause you do."
She giggles, finally seeing his outer shell crumble. The real Johnny, the Johnny that craves romance beyond the steamy windows of a back seat. "So, what does all this mean? Do we go out on dates? Hold hands in the hall?" She teases Johnny, though she secretly wouldn't mind any of that.
He rolls his eyes, feigning annoyance, but there's a hint of a smile on his lips. "Yeah, those things. What, am I too much of a badass to hold your hand in the hallway?" He asks, his voice laced with sarcasm. But his hand reaches out and takes hers, interlocking their fingers.
"No, I guess not" She flushed.
He gives her hand a gentle squeeze, relishing the feel of their fingers locked together.
"And dates," he said, his voice taking on a more serious tone. "We go on proper dates, right? Not ones where we're sneaking around and getting into each other's cars in hidden parking lots."
She cocks an eyebrow at him "Johnny Lawrence being seen doing lovey dovey things? But what about your reputation?!" She feigns shock.
"Screw my reputation," he retorts, his eyes locked with hers. "You think you're the only one who can shake things up a little? I can change if I want. And believe me, the world will know I'm with the hottest chick around."
She blushes deeper, she'd never been slick with taking compliments. "Well I guess having a stud on my arm at all times won't hurt.." She teased him. Images of them walking around together, his muscular arm wrapped around her waist for all to see, the idea was savory.
He chuckled, a cocky grin spreading across his face. "You got that right, I'd look damn good walking around with the hottest girl in school on my arm," he replied, his voice dripping with confidence.
He reached out, his hand wrapping around her waist. "Yeah, I think I like the sound of that. You know, people staring, whispering about us. Seeing us together."
She smiles wide, his cocky persona shining through his emotions. He drove her crazy, he always had. "Well you better have a spectacular first date planned, better not involve your back seat" She gestured back.
He smirked, his eyes locking onto hers. "You doubting my abilities, sweetheart?"
He leaned in a bit closer, his voice low and suggestive. "I'll have you know, I'm an expert at making unforgettable moments. In my back seat or otherwise."
" I guess you'll just have to prove it to me" She shrugs with a sly smirk on her face.
