I just found out that John Mahoney passed away Sunday. He played Frasier Crane’s dad, Martin, on the hit TV show Frasier back in the 90’s, which happens to be one of my all-time favorite shows. I was an avid viewer when it originally aired and still watch it all the time today. Of course, John Mahoney was in other stuff as well, like the first play they had us watch in the theater class I took in college, though I don’t remember the title. For me, he’ll always be Martin Crane, father, ex-cop, and owner of Eddie the Jack Russell Terrier.
