Don’t get me wrong, I love my Pentecostal brothers and sisters, I was saved in a Pentecostal Church and spiritually grew there. One of my biggest concerns about Pentecostals is the fact that they allow too many false teachers into their church, biblically speaking it’s very difficult to accept a man or women who identifies themselves as prophets, I’ve seen a few of these prophets in my former church and I remember one of them had a prophecy that did not come to pass yet he kept being invited back because he’s a good speaker. I eventually left disillusioned of the church however if it wasn’t for my reading and studying of apologetics my faith would have been harmed but it was completely intact. That was my Pentecostal experience, I also meet some wonderful people who are equally disgusted with false prophets and teachings, and there are some great teachers in that denomination right from the top of my head I can think of Dr. Michael Brown. It’s important that we unite over essential biblical teachings and condemn false doctrine, and on what we fiercely disagree we must show clarity instead of emotional response.

Definitely feel like I'm on a mission to "serve Gods will" instead of actually spending time with Him. How am I supposed to know what He wants from me if I don't humble myself before Him, and actually seek His face daily? I am very hypocritical because I want to be like Jesus but don't spend much time with Him. Thinking of taking a break off tumblr to start fasting and really deepening my relationship with God. It's time to get serious and He's waiting.
