Our idols @the_untouchables_official rolled through Bakersfield twice - twice during the “Decade Of Dance” live album line-up era. An early Tim Gardea (Spilt Milk Prod.) show. John Bryan’s Tavern is now a @flameandskewers restaurant. Back in the day, every cool local band and touring band played here on college music nights. One night it would be Cadillac Tramps, Xtra Large (with Warren from the Vandals,) then 70s legends Rare Earth, reggae with Eek-A-Mouse, Big Mountain, even Deftones and more. We were a house band for awhile. Helped expand our repertoire. #wbw This club flier might be from '92 or '93? We used to play SKA during the grunge era at John Bryan's Tavern on California Ave. all the time. We opened for Eek a Mouse, The Untouchables there. Liquid was a band with some friends of ours. That location is now a Flames and Skewers. Source of photo is currently unknown.
