Console Sports Games of 1994 - The Sporting News Baseball
The Sporting News Baseball, also known as The Sporting News Power Baseball, was released in 1994 for the SNES. Developed and published by Hudson Soft, the game features the MLBPA license, allowing it to include popular players of the time, such as Ken Griffey Jr., Daryl Strawberry, and John Smoltz, though it lacks an official Major League license. Players can choose from three stadiums, one of which is inspired by the iconic baseball field from the movie Field of Dreams.
The game offers several modes, including exhibition games, All-Star Game, Home Run Derby, and pennant race. The gameplay mechanics are familiar, with button controls for swinging, bunting, and pitching, staying consistent with other baseball titles of the era. #baseball #gaming #sports

Will we ever see a greater starting pitcher trio than Tom Glavine (2 Cy Young Awards, World Series #MVP, #HoF 2014), John Smoltz (Cy Young Award, HoF 2015), and Greg Maddux (4 Cy Young Awards, HoF 2014)?

Yankees RF Juan Soto’s defense mocked by Hall of Famer
When Yankees right fielder Juan Soto was nominated for a Gold Glove, there were a few snickers. Those who watched Soto every day conceded that he was a better defensive player than many expected when he was traded from the San Diego Padres, but a Gold Glove winner? Probably not. Well, on Tuesday night, in Game 4 of the World Series, FOX baseball analyst and Hall of Fame pitcher John Smoltz mocked…
