you know what. there is a CRIMINAL lack of jj x john b fanfics where living in the american south can impact their relationship. i'm talking kaleidoscope by chappell roan levels of unrequited love and falling in love with your best friend who is straight and knowing there is nothing you can do about it. maybe this is coming from my own queer perspective having lived in NC my whole life and i know the outer banks fandom probably doesn't have a ton of Queers like me, but i still am craving it.

i might just have to write a fic about it. i guess if you want something done right you gotta do it yourself.
