A/N: I’m still doin requests, just wanted to make this at the moment
“THE DEVIL HIMSELF?”
relationship(s): ink demon x Joey drew!daughter
Warning(s): smut, stalking (abit)
drip. drip, drop. that’s all you could hear. over and over. why couldn’t you see? what’s going on? you finally opened your eyes to find yourself in a bed, but not your bed. where were you? you sat up and felt your head, god, you had a massive headache.
you thought over what could’ve possibly happened before you fell asleep and then you remembered. you had came back to your fathers abandoned workshop to visit bendy and the others. you had grown quite a lot but you believed they would still remember you. you were 10 when they last saw you.
you were now 21 , only 11 years? not too long you hope. you had gotten out the bed and began to creep out the door. you seen a black dog/wolf. Boris! you went over and hugged him. he looked at you and pulled you off softly. “ma’am? who are you?” you were shocked for a moment before you uttered the words that stopped Boris in his tracks.
“Y/N Drew.”
he hugged you tightly, sniffling. “Y/N, we missed you so much!!” you hugged him back and shook your head at his words, feeling little tears build at the corner of your eyes to. he quickly sat you at the table before he pulled out some type of soup, asking if you were hungry. you quickly shook your head, you didn’t wanna be rude but you already knew it was probably very very veryyyyy old. I mean they can drink it of course, but you’d probably get sick.
“so.. how’s Joey?” you shrugged “fine, he’s doing fine..” Boris looked at you. “why say it like that, hun?” you looked at him. “I guess.. I never quite got over how he left you guys..” he nodded, not saying anything more. you quickly got up, realizing something.
“Where’s Bendy?!.. where’s Alice?!”
he looked at you and sighed. “they are.. not who they used to be. they fell apart after everyone abandoned us.” “.. what happened?” “they turned demonic and empowered.. that’s why I’ve been hiding here.”
“oh.”
you had left the little hiding place with Boris and was now walking around the warehouse. you felt so bad watching the once shiny and glimmering walls now filled with thick ink. you looked around high and low, finding tapes of your fathers coworkers.
you ran across Alice’s territory and she stopped you, asking you to be her little ‘errand girl’. you denied but you didn’t have much of a choice. she began to give you instructions as you did it, no questions asked. you just.. you just wanted to know and see your friends again.
Alice had instructed you to the deepest darkest part of the warehouse to find the ‘devil himself’ so she could rule this place. by herself. you wondered who the devil was. you just knew it wasn’t your sweet innocent Bendy. that cute little devil. you walked through the thick ink, cringing at the feeling of the ink on your legs.
you had came to a door and this.. this thing came out the ink and tried to grab you. you screamed and ran while you heard it hurriedly following you. you ran and ran, more and more of those things were popping out of little things of ink of the ground. they ran you straight into the room where the ink demon sustained himself in. he wasn’t in there at the moment though.. not like you even knew that was his room. great.
you took a breath, not knowing where you had gotten yourself into. what room was this? who’s room was this? questions filled your head so quickly. it was to ‘inky’ for you to tell. you could see a bed though. atleast it looked comfortable.
you took a seat on the bed. you looked over yourself, noticed how you were almost completely covered in ink. you grimaced as you attempted to wipe it off your face. seems like those things were afraid to come in here. you rolled your eyes as you thought over you situation. you haven’t even found Bendy yet and Alice is still waiting on you to find the ‘Devil himself’ - the Ink Demon.
“fuck, one of those things scratched my leg!” you seethed before you got up and went out the room. you looked around and sighed with relief. no fucking monsters. you slowly walked to the infirmary. it took you awhile to get there since the gash on your leg was pretty bad. you finally got there and sat, putting a towel in your mouth as you grabbed the alcohol and bandages.
you wiped the tears off your cheek as you got off the infirmary bed, you headed back to the task at hand. finding the devil himself. you walked around the ink filled rooms with no sign of horns at all. you sighed as your got tired of walking. you found a halfway decent room and sat down. just then, you saw eyes watching you.
you quickly sat up as they began to move around. you followed the eyes, only to see it was one of those monsters, watching. you wondered why he didn’t attack? maybe he was ordered not to by Alice. you quickly followed the little monster and hid behind a wall as he walked right in front of a tall horrific .. demon. you couldn’t help but think that was the devil.
you sat there and watched as Bendy listened to the groans and grunts of the monster, seemingly understanding. you had moved your foot which made the ink slosh. the demon instantly looking up at you. your heart stopped. you guys locked eyes for a few moments(even though you couldn’t see his eyes) before you snapped out of it and began to run, scared. he was scarier than Alice!
you ran, the hard pitter patter, being heard through the murky ‘water’. you heard his minions following you rather then himself. pussy. you thought as you ran a corner, knocking straight into a rock hard chest. your heart stopped. you slowly looked up to see him, smiling over you.
you gulped as you backed up abit. “Bendyyy..! hi, buddy, remember me?” you asked as he looked at you - no, stared at you. he came close and his hand slowly landed on your face as his gruff voice came out. “Y/N?..” you quickly nodded. “yea, yes, bends, it’s me!”
before you guys could begin to talk, he was carrying you, bridal style. you came inside that room you were in earlier with that bed. ah, so this was his room. he dropped you on his bed, before he wanted no time, ripping off your clothes. your eyes widened as you covered yourself. “What are you doing?!”
he quickly shut you up though. his head inbetween your soft plush like thighs as he ate you out. his slimy black tongue trailing between your clit and your unused hole. he kissed your inner thighs before his mouth came right back to your dripping core, sucking your swollen bud. he deemed you wet enough after awhile.
he took his achy cock out. the tip gray, swollen, with a bit of pre-cum, already licking. you sat up abit as you seen it. it had to be atleast 11 inches! he took a look at you and seen your growing nerves as he stroked his lengthy cock. “shhh.. be a good girl and atleast try, okay?”
you reached between the two of you and stroked his cock a few times causing a growl to escape his lips. from him already slicking you up, he pushed inside, no problem… until he tried to thrust more inside. you held onto his arms, the ink beginning to drip down your hands. you took a sigh and Bendy chickled before he pushed himself deeper into your soaked hole. you let out a whimper as you looked up at him, desperately.
his cock was swallowed by your tight hole. he growled as he fucked into you like you were some rag doll he had found. his hard cock finally pushed all the way inside, you choked out a sob as your gummy walls stretched to accommodate him. you moaned out his name as he started moving faster, his tail rubbing your clit deliciously. making you squirm.
your pussy was quivering as you had squirted on his cock and chest about 3 times already while he hadn’t cum twice. he switched your position, flipping you on your stomach as he slid into you once more, making rough and passionate love to your hole. his hands came up to your tit and squeezed. loving the feeling of the flesh between his ungodly hands. you moaned loudly as he bit into your shoulder, cumming into your womb.
you took deep breaths as your vision began to blacken and you faintly saw Bendys shadow walking out the room after covering you. after that, you were out far too soon.

59.) "Are those friends of yours? Are they your everything?" Prompt for yandere platonic Bendy who grows attached to reader who snuck into the studio with their friends (if u wanna go dark , I’m all for it ^^)
Of course! Here's what I came up with :) Using my view on Bendy for this.
Yandere! Platonic! Bendy Prompt 59
"Are those friends of yours? Are they your everything?"
Pairing: Platonic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Stalking, Violence, Murder, Blood, Jealousy, Sadism, Kidnapping, Dark themes, Delusional behavior, Mind break, Forced companionship.
Exploring abandoned places wasn't something you should've gone along with... yet it was exhilarating.
When you were in school you had found a group of friends who made a hobby out of exploring old and abandoned places. Anything from old schools to abandoned parks, it was so odd to see beloved places devoid of life. Originally you found it unnerving.
But now it was just exciting.
Today your friends had suggested exploring an abandoned animation studio. The idea was harmless enough. After all, what's dangerous about an animation studio?
You and your friends were just young adults doing stupid things. It was all for a bit of fun. You saw nothing wrong with it.
Just don't get caught, yeah?
The studio smells deeply of ink and rotting wood. There's an undeniable wet smell in the rooms as you creak through the hallways with your friends. The whole area seems so empty as you all split up to explore.
As you walk through the rotting halls of the studio, something follows you. Joey Drew Studios isn't your typical animation studio. You had no clue, unfortunately.
Not until things were too late.
Your eyes sweep over posters of various cartoon characters. A wolf, an angel, a devil... all typical stuff for the time period in your eyes. You couldn't help but feel uneasy as you linger in the studio, however.
The further you went you saw how dilapidated the building was. Ink pooled from the walls as though the building was bleeding. The footing underneath you even creaked as though it would break.
Thinking about turning tail to tell your friends it isn't safe, you turn. That is... until you heard scurrying. You jump in place, hearing a wet sound and small footsteps.
Surely wild animals would be a common sight, right? That's normal... a small raccoon or maybe a skunk- You've been to abandoned places before...
Yet when a small shiny black creature peaks from behind a wall, you just about freeze.
Your eyes narrow to try and see it better, the small creature about the size of some toddler as it inches into view. A devilish grin is on its face yet it looks at you curiously. Part of you manages to tell it looks similar to the posters you saw earlier.
"Wow! Visitors aren't a common sight here...!" The creature chirps in a curious yet mischievous tone, looking you over with a flick of its tail. "I thought I would just be left here."
"What the Hell are you!?" You find yourself losing your cool, the inky creature jumping at your harsh tone for a moment as your voice comes out in a squeal.
"I'm Bendy!" The living cartoon answers excitedly. "Bendy the Ink Demon! I'm a cartoon... technically."
"How?" You ask, keeping your distance. Adrenaline creeps into your veins yet you remain calm, still just... bewildered.
"How? I was born from the ink machine here, friend! It's been a long time since anyone was last here...." 'Bendy' answers, looking melancholic before perking up. "But you're here!"
You wanted to not believe it. You wanted to ignore the proof of a living cartoon. Yet Bendy here was undeniably real. What was this about an Ink Machine?
You know things were somewhat real when you touched Bendy's head, the ink staining your hand a deep black... and Bendy just seemed confused yet curious.
"What was that?" The ink demon tilts his head, looking at your stained hand.
"It's hard to believe something like you is real." You admit, Bendy perking up.
"Aren't I unique~?" The demon purrs. "Do you want help exploring? Are you going to stay? Can we be friends!?"
The rapid fire of questions by the demon catches you off guard. Fortunately, before you can give any answers, you hear some of your friends coming to check on you due to your scream. You go to prepare to introduce Bendy, but the demon has already scampered off like a scared cat.
How odd....
That was, unfortunately, not the only time you crossed paths with the ink demon. No, Bendy was intimidated by your little friends... but not enough to let you out of his sight. Why would he?
You were friends in his eyes.
You don't meet Bendy again until you explore deeper into the studio. The further you got in, the more you saw cardboard cutouts and odd pentagrams. If Bendy wasn't enough proof that this studio wasn't normal... this was.
"Heya, friend!" The familiar voice of Bendy echoes as he appears again. You turn to see him, the ink demon staring with childlike curiosity. You see his tail flick and wonder if he really is real.
He has to be, right?
"Hey, Bendy...." You greet, the demon's gaze never leaving yours.
"If you don't mind, friend, I have a question." Bendy hums, following his new friend's exploration.
"Like what?" You ask, looking at the creaking pipes of the building.
"Are those friends of yours?" Bendy asks like a naive child. "Those other people you came with, I mean...."
"Yes, they are." You confirm. "I explore places like this with them all the time."
Bendy ponders your answer for a moment, deep in thought. Friends... he missed when he had friends. Now all his friends are gone...
He wants new friends...
He wants to be your friend.
"... Are they your everything?" Bendy whispers, inky black eyes staring up at you. The question is odd, making you pause your search.
"Pardon...?" You ask, Bendy looking up at you innocently.
"Does having friends mean a lot to you?" Bendy repeats, envious of the connection. "Do friends make you happy...?"
"I... yes, yes they do." You answer, Bendy going quiet for a moment before grabbing your attention again.
"... Can we be friends?" Bendy asks. He has called you friend, but he says that to many others. He wants to know if you're really friends. You ponder the question, smiling softly.
As strange as he was... Bendy was quite cute.
You wondered if you were going high off the ink fumes.
"Sure." You smile, the demon perking up. "We can be friends."
Bendy makes a noise akin to a happy squeak. Friends mean a lot to you and you're a friend! Which means... he means a lot to you!
He has a new friend!
You go to continue exploring, only for Bendy to cling to your leg. The ink demon rubs his head against you like a cat, tail wagging. The sight is... adorable...
Yet you know you can't stay....
---
"You said friends mean a lot to you...." The demon whispers in a sad tone. The fear in your eyes didn't matter to him right now. "So why would you try to abandon me?"
You feel ink and blood stain your clothes as you press yourself into the wall. The demon in front of you... it didn't feel like the cute cartoon demon you met. If anything...
This was an actual demon.
"No... you wouldn't do that, would you, friend?" Bendy asks, tilting his head. The beast leans closer, the scent of blood and ink creating a toxic concoction in your nose.
"You wouldn't abandon me... those other friends of yours were trying to take you away!" Bendy chirps, still managing to sound like his old self despite his new form. "Pretty crummy friends if you ask me...."
You shut your eyes, tears rolling down your cheeks. This couldn't be real, right? No... Bendy wasn't real... and the blood isn't your friends.
A low growl comes from the beast in front of you. You yelp when he leans over, ink dripping onto your skin. You can't deny reality much longer....
"But that's okay... it's all okay!" Bendy purrs. "I got rid of them since we're friends now...!"
You feel nausea kick in when reality finally sinks in to taunt you. Within a few hours your friends were torn apart by the demon. The very same demon who held you in such high regard for saying you were friends.
You begin to think there was a reason he was left here... alone.
"You... still wanted to explore, yeah?" Bendy tilts his head. "You said you did that for fun with friends, right, friend?"
An inky claw picks you up from the ground, ignoring how you go limp at the touch. Bendy stands you up, a grin on his face. In this form it looks far from innocent.
"Let's explore then, friend!" Bendy coos, dragging you off as you fight against the sticky skin he has. "I'll lead the way, just the two of us on a little adventure!"
As Bendy drags you deep into the studio, you can only focus on the blood coating the floor and walls....
It took one fun little trip to lose all your friends, your mind and heart crack a little...
But maybe Bendy can fill such a void, not like you have much of a choice.

Thoughts on the "Updated" Bendy Employee Handbook
Before we go any further, let's make it very clear what kind of post this is: we're not here to hate on the book, and none of anything I'm about to say is said with ill intent. I am here for analysis, constructive criticism, and discussion. This post is a little more critical than what I would usually share, so viewer discretion is advised.
Today we're talking about the newly updated Bendy Employee Handbook, which just recently released as of this month at the time of this post. And I have a lot of questions about this entry, and really, game guides as a whole in our modern gaming world. This book appeared to advertise itself as a rerelease of the original handbook with additional content for Bendy and the Dark Revival, but upon comparing the two, I've noticed there's actually a number of changes they've made, some good, some bad, and some that I'm not sure what to make of. So come and join me under the cut, and if you have some thoughts of your own, feel free to comment or reblog and add to the discussion. Without further ado, here we go!
Part 1: The Baffling Amount of Cut Content
Our story begins where most stories do, the table of contents. So right off the bat, when comparing this book to the original, you'll notice something off.
No, your eyes do not deceive you, an entire section of the original book was cut, on top of making other sections shorter. And the weirdest part? Some of these things were exclusive to that original book, they didn't appear anywhere else in the Bendy franchise. So already we're off to a weird start. Some of these missing pages aren't so bad though. In some cases, they're just format changes to make the book flow a little better/take up less room. Sometimes they succeed in that, sometimes they end up feeling more cramped, it's pretty subjective whether or not this improved the book. But it certainly does cut down on pages. Case in point, the beginning of each chapter of BATIM.
Don't worry, Joey's letter hasn't been cut, but it has been moved to earlier in the book, so it's no longer in Chapter 1. This was a very odd change. Other things that are missing are character monologues, but it's inconsistent. Alice Angel's speech about the screaming well of voices and Joey's monologue right before the final boss were kept, but Sammy's "sheep sheep sheep" speech and Bertrum's audiolog right before his boss fight were inexplicably cut.
Here are a few cuts I found pretty significant.
These pages are all missing from the update. In the case of this newspaper article, what does that mean in regards to whether or not this is "canon" or "retconned"? Joey Drew, did you or did you not have plans to expand into a Bendy themed toothpaste? The people need to know! X''D But seriously, while some of this is inconsequential, some of it matters. The mascot costume in particular, that's the only sketch we get (that I'm assuming came from Bertrum or Joey regarding that part of the parks, no one is specifically credited for making it). It doesn't show up anywhere else in the series (to my knowledge). It's strange that it's just, gone now. The Bendyland spread is such an unfortunate loss, that's some of the closest we've ever gotten to seeing the map of the park. Yes you can see it in BATIM, but being able to get up close and personal with it without having to control Henry was really nice. It makes me wonder if they're trying to erase the past details so they can do more with Bendyland in the future, something that's different from the original vision. I don't think that's it, but it could be, though they'd also have to go back on The Illusion of Living too, given it’s discussed there with some really fun details.
Speaking of which, that's the weirdest piece of cut content: the missing section that ends the old book (that was reiterated in The Illusion of Living). It's Joey Drew's tips for making a cartoon. It's formatted differently and has no images in TIOL, but the basic information is still the same. What's not the same though, is the loss of the tutorial pages for drawing the toons. These are another thing that don’t show up anywhere else in the series, making them a much more permanent loss. And even though this section is cut, it’s still referenced on the back cover of the new book, which is a bit odd.
These were really cute and showed so much personality for not just the toons, but for Joey as he described them. Cutting this was genuinely disappointing for me. Same with the paperwork in Joey's apartment. Those were some of the highest quality images we had of what was on his desk and bulletin board, and I liked being able to see them clearer. The biggest loss of the cut content isn’t just the pages themselves, but the personality they gave to this book, and the Bendy world as a whole.
This was the very first Bendy book to be released, and therefore our first look into this world in this format. And while I don’t think it’s the greatest thing in the world in terms of being a game guide, I didn’t pick up the original for a game guide. I picked it up because I wanted to see if it provided more context for the world. And when it does that, it does a good job. The memos from characters we know, Joey’s financial records, the images from the desks of people like Joey and Bertrum, they give us insight into how things were going at the studio. Some of my favorite details from the original are Joey’s memo about how Susie was replaced by Allison, and the receipt for Joe’s Fine Dining. The fact that that memo was distributed to everyone but Susie enhanced what we already knew from BATIM, and it paints him as a much crueler character than we knew him to be. Not to mention the repeated use of “I have to say, I’m an instant fan”. Having Joey say those words makes the concept of him creating the cycle so much more interesting. Like did he script out every little action these characters take? Or is this something Susie picked up and recycled from him after potentially finding this memo in real life? Oh there are so many delicious possibilities. And the lunch date, oh my gosh. One, it started my quest to build the Joey Drew menu using all the things he eats in the books, because damn does he have good taste. And two, it was so cool to have a look into an interaction Susie told us about in that one tape. Like that was REALLY GOOD. Give me more like that! When you have other parts of the series back up things we’ve heard only one character say, it gives more credence to the idea that they actually happened that way, or gives us a clue that we need to check for character biases when they tell us their side of the story. And in a series where MOST characters are unreliable narrators, that is REALLY IMPORTANT for establishing timelines and figuring out what’s real versus what’s fabricated. That was my biggest hope for the update, for more flavortext and world building that expands on things we already know.
But um…the dark revival part of the book doesn’t do that.
Part 2: The Dark Revival’s Minimal Offerings
After an abrupt jump from Bendyland to BATDR, we get into the new stuff. The Bendy and the Dark Revival section of this book is alarmingly short and has very little substance. There is no new expansion of the worldbuilding or insight into these characters. I mean, the book describes Heidi as being a female lost one? So if you wanted a confirmation on her gender, there you go I guess? I guess that detail was never like, stated explicitly, but this is me stretching to find something new that it gives us. Actually, wait, it does give us one new thing, but I’m gonna be honest, it kind of rubbed me the wrong way.
The book refers to Allison having a “pet wolf” when we get her introduction in Chapter 1. It then later describes that Tom “likes being pet” when we get his introduction in Chapter 5. Which by the way, is the only image of Tom in this entire book, since his original render from the old version was cut. Now, I’ll be honest, I used to like that second detail, I thought it was cute that he doesn’t just tolerate Audrey, he actually LIKES being pet. Those are two different things, having some insights into Tom’s feelings and characterization would have been a breath of fresh air. But no, when I reread the book and saw that first detail, that made that really weird and uncomfortable actually. It would be one thing if in-universe, Tom called himself a pet, or Allison called him that with consent. Heck, if there was another character in-universe who wanted to purposely insult Allison and Tom by saying that, that would be fine too, then it’d be reiterating the narrative. But on its own? I take issue with taking Tom of all characters and calling him her pet. The Safehouse Boris never got treated that badly, hell, Buddy in the books never got dehumanized this badly when he became a Boris. But Tom, Tom gets to be the one that’s dehumanized? There is something that really rubs me the wrong way about that. Especially if he turns out to be Thomas Connor or has some connection to him. I can’t assume if he is or isn’t anymore given all the stuff BATDR pulled with Allison and Henry. But on the chance he IS Thomas Connor, do you have any idea how bad that looks, to have a character that, because of details written in Dreams Come to Life, many fans speculate to be a person of color, referring to him as Allison’s “pet”? And even if he ends up not being a person of color (I say as I groan about the inevitable discourse for the DCTL graphic novel that’s coming out), it’s still kind of awful to say that about anyone. Tom is a character that has repeatedly gotten the short end of the stick in this series. He’s relevant to BATDR for all of a couple of minutes, and he’s incredibly underutilized and lacking details or depth for most of the series. Thomas Connor, he gets a bit of depth as of The Lost Ones, that novel does great things for him. But Tom Wolf? Short end of the stick. And I’m sad to see that continue here.
The one positive thing I have to say about this section is that it’s really nice to have so many of the audiolog character transcripts here. Most of the notes and logs from BATDR are here with all their words typed out. The ones that in-game had a chiller styled font are transcribed a bit strangely, as now they’re written like the messages written on the walls in-game. But it’s not the worst. If anything, all of this gives me a great resource as a theorist. Having a record of all of these and what chapters they appear in makes my goal of constructing a timeline and cross checking information much easier.
Though from a graphic design standpoint, these pages frustrate me a little bit. They’re so cramped, and there’s several spots where the text isn’t centered properly within its text block. I get the sense on some parts, it’s because it’s placed so close to the spine of the book, so they don’t want any information getting cut off, but it still looks funky. And there are several spots where that explanation doesn’t really apply. There’s also some weird placement of fun facts. While I love that this book lets us in on some secrets, they’re not always placed in an area that makes sense? Like, there’s a note about how to get the Inkjets Concert, but the steps for how to get it are placed way after a point in the narrative where you’d be able to get it, and I’m kind of scratching my head as to why it was done that way. Is it to encourage a second playthrough? Or is it to not spoil the story? Why not split the information up? Or have a dedicated secrets page like they do with the achievements and theMeatly’s cutouts?
Though speaking of not spoiling things, this book is really odd about what it chooses to focus on. So, Henry’s model is in this book, right next to a passage about a “mysterious man” you can meet in the Cyclebreakers area. They showed his model but didn’t name him as Henry? I don’t quite get that choice. Also, despite the cyclebreakers being very important to this story, they aren’t really mentioned before this very brief section. However, Porter? The character shown for all of a few seconds? He’s got at least three images throughout this book. The balance feels off with what this book chooses to put emphasis on.
Also, this one really annoyed me: Allison. So for everyone who’s actually played BATIM, you would know that Allison Angel is never referred to as Allison within BATIM. We only know she’s called that because people dove into the game’s files and revealed her and Tom’s names upon the release of Chapter 4. And the book follows suit with this, it does not call her Allison in the original handbook whatsoever. HOWEVER, the BATDR section messes this up. When it introduces her, even though in-game she introduces herself as Alice, the book introduces her as Allison. But when we get to Chapter 5, the part where she’s actually named Allison by Audrey, it suddenly switches to calling her Nice Alice? It’s a weird choice and I don’t understand why this happened.
It leaves me wondering just how much the new author of this section and their editors know about the Bendy series before going into this project. What context were they given to write this thing? It makes the book feel unpolished to have so many mistakes in its formatting and information. I don’t know what the quality control team for this release looked like, but a part of me wonders how many editors this went through before making it to the final release. I don’t work in publishing to know what that looks like, but I’d genuinely love to learn more on this subject, it’s fascinating.
There’s also a very strong dissonance in the imagery. While I’m glad to see the renders from BATDR’s advertising so clearly and up close, the difference in their coloring looks strange when put next to the rest of Bendy’s usual color palette. It leaves me wondering what assets the book team was given for use in this release. There’s a lot I could say here about the importance of press kits and brand guidelines, especially in this day and age when so many fans are making just as high quality of content as the official releases of media. And that leads me to the most disappointing part of this book.
Part 3: Stolen Content
If you’re active in the Bendy fandom and know its many creative members, then you may already know what I’m about to dive into. MLSpence3D is an artist that enjoys 3D modeling, rigging, animating, and rendering. He can often be found engaging in all sorts of corners in the indie mascot horror community, such as playing a notable role in the production of SuperHorrorBro’s upcoming title, Glitched Out, as well as providing the renders used on the Bendy Wiki of the in-game characters. Spence has had his work mistaken for official renders before, and unfortunately, it’s not just fans making that mistake. The render of the Piper used in the BATIM portion of the original handbook is Spence’s, and it unfortunately hasn’t been removed in this update, nor has he been credited or asked for permission to have it used here. I’ll admit, his stuff looks so official that I’ve mistaken it as such too, and it speaks to a much needed conversation on assets, metadata, and protection for artists of all mediums.
Our fandom is not the only place where this happens. Back when FNAF: Help Wanted was in production, the cover art mistakenly used fan renders as a part of its photomanipulation. Developer Scott Cawthon was quick to apologize and make things right, removing the renders and replacing them with officially made FNAF models. Heck, we had something similar happen right here with Bendy back when the voice cast of BATDR started working with Streamily. The initial post that advertised their Streamily debut used renders from Spence and a few other artists that had to be tracked down, and they didn’t have the rights to use them, nor were they credited. It makes a lot of sense that this happens, when you don’t have sufficient resources and aren’t an active member of the fandom, if you’re a graphic designer trying to make a piece to advertise something, you’re going to need assets to make that. And if you’re not given sufficient assets by the people you’re designing for, you turn to other sources to get the job done. They may not know what on Google is official vs fan content. The fans are so skilled and passionate about what they do, and with the number of series that have fans steadily joining the official teams, it’s incredible what can result from being passionate. But it also makes for a much needed reminder to add metadata to your files so that they can be traced back as belonging to you. Watermark your stuff, clearly mark your work as fan content in the tags, captions, and descriptions, in an effort to protect yourself. Don’t use images you find online unless you have a very clear idea of where they came from, so you can direct people back to the source when they ask about it (or better yet, link the source in your description from the start). Give people another reason to pause and double check their work in the chain of command (they should be pausing to double check anyway, but let's be real, we don't live in a perfect world). In a world where credit and sources are more important than ever, remembering to give credit where it’s due from the start will save you all kinds of headaches in the future. Video game developers, especially those of you in the indie scene: please develop press kits to give to people your teams collaborate with. By giving them assets they can reliably use to advertise for you, you will save everyone a lot of hassle in the long run. And if this is still happening even with a press kit, it merits having some conversations to evaluate why and solve the problem. If there is no other takeaway anyone gets from this post, this is the big one I want to see some positive change on in the future.
Part 4: The Functionality as a Game Guide
This book works for your first time through BATDR, but not for any kind of sequential playthroughs. The way it directs you through the game uses the audiologs and notes as waypoints. Once you pick them up, they are removed from the environment, and so if you’re picking up the game after a long time away from it, you’re not gonna remember where those were, so it’s likely not going to be useful for navigating. It reminds me a lot of the way my parents talked about one of our old hometowns. We lived in Vermont for a little while, and there were two things about our area that we laughed about. One, never leave your car unlocked unless you want it filled with zucchini. Two, if you ask for directions, you’re not gonna have a clue unless you’re a local, because they word everything in a similar fashion to “you’re gonna drive past where the old barn used to be”. At least give me a landmark that still exists, or a map! The BATIM chapters aren’t much better, they sort of give you a layout map, but it’s not helpful. Especially in Chapter 3, the place where you arguably need a map the most, there is no kind of instruction for how to get through Alice’s fetch quests if you get lost.
In my mind, a game guide is something you turn to when you need help getting through a game. Now, mind you, I am not the target audience for a game guide. I don’t own game guides. There are a few in my household that my siblings own, for stuff like Super Mario Sunshine, and I guess technically my Pokedex for Pokemon Black and White 2 DOES double as a game guide. But like, we now live in the age of the internet. If you want to know how to get through something, there are a million articles and Let’s Plays that detail how to complete the base story, find secrets, and even suggest strategies for tackling difficult challenges. Some of these are designed to be informative, and some are more reactionary and built for entertainment, there’s lots of flavors to choose from!
And it makes me wonder, what does that mean for the medium of game guides as a whole? I think they still have their place. For one thing, different people benefit from different learning styles. Being able to read a guide may work better for someone than a video depending on their brain wiring. And for people who don’t have reliable or frankly any internet, or rely on a library for that, it’s nice to have a book so that you don’t have to wait to keep playing. I’ve never seen anyone get a game guide from a library, but I absolutely think it’s something a library could have. It’s also just really convenient to have all of that information available in one book, as opposed to having to search through multiple forums and sources and risk getting spoiled. And when they’re done well, sometimes they can have secrets not even the existing player base knew. Like I knew that there was this secret about a ghost train that appears if you set your system’s clock to 4:14, but I didn’t know if AM or PM mattered. Thanks to this book, now I know that it doesn’t matter, both work, which is really handy to know! But uh…most of the secrets that were revealed in this book were things I knew within the first month that BATDR came out. None of them were new to me as someone who’s plugged into the world of Bendy. There have been multiple videos detailing how to get these secrets, and how to play this game, by many different indie horror enthusiasts. It almost makes it feel like this book came out a bit too late, and it’s only released about a year or so after this game came out.
Which really begs the question, who was the target audience for this book? Was it for new fans who were struggling with these games? Was it for longtime fans who wanted a memento of the occasion and a record of all the stuff in these games? Was it for lore hunters hungry for new secrets and world building? Having read both versions of the employee handbook, I still can’t definitively say who the target audience is. That kind of frustrates me, that’s the first thing they taught us about back when I went to school for graphic design. It’s important to keep your audience in mind when designing something, that way it caters to their needs, appeals to them, and gets your message across effectively.
Part 5: Final Thoughts
I still can’t say for sure what I was supposed to get out of this. The parts of it that I found charming and appealing were not continued or built upon in this update. There is no new world building or lore. It doesn’t do an effective job as a game guide given its reliance on non-permanent elements of gameplay. It doesn’t give us tools to cross reference what we know from previous entries, nor does it expand upon details that lacked clarity within BATDR or BATIM. It removed some of its more charming content, and it still has stolen artwork from its previous iteration. By the time I got done reading this book, I was left feeling disappointed and kind of exhausted. No joke, I grabbed a friend, and we went through it all to compare it page by page to see what changed. It was something you could make a drinking game out of, not that I would recommend that.
I would struggle to recommend this book to any Bendy fan, unless you’re a completionist like me who wants to own every book as a physical copy. The original employee handbook was a far better read, and if you can find a copy secondhand or at your local library, you’re in for a small but tasty treat (quite literally if you decide to make the bacon soup recipe, which fun fact, originated in this book and was developed by the wife of Bookpast, one of the writers on this series!). The Dark Revival section feels tacked on and not as well thought out as the original book was. There is a very odd disconnect between the two. I’m genuinely confused as to why it was put in a rerelease of this book rather than making an entirely new book for Dark Revival. Dark Revival is a much longer and detailed game than Bendy and the Ink Machine. I would expect a book that describes how to play it and its world building to take up a lot more pages and go in depth on different details than this one did. So why was it done this way? Does this have to do with some sort of contract with Scholastic that we don’t know about? Was there a time constraint, or a page count that had to be met that they couldn’t meet with just BATDR? Did the people working on Bendy have too much on their plates to dedicate the time to a new book? What happened here? I wasn’t expecting to leave this book with more questions than answers, but here we are.
Overall, I don’t think it was worth what I paid for it, but it’s going to live on my shelf with the rest of my books. This will be handy for when I need to reference the audiologs and don’t want to look up a YouTube video to remember what was said. It’ll also be nice if I’m traveling. See, whenever I visit my grandparents, their wifi is pretty limited, so if I want to draw anything while I’m up there, I have to print out references or download images on my phone before I go so I can do that. Having some of the new renders in this book will be useful if I decide I want to draw Bendy stuff or theorize while on the road.
Now it's your turn. Tell me your thoughts on the Updated Edition of the Bendy Employee Handbook! Is this something you want to read? If you have read it, did you enjoy it? Were you left wanting more? If we ever get another book like this, what sort of things would you like to see? Let's talk about it. And remember, if you did enjoy it, that's not a bad thing, absolutely no judgement there. Just because it wasn't for me doesn't mean it's not going to be enjoyable for someone else. Every work of fiction has its audience. <3 Here's wishing you a wonderful rest of the day, and happy reading!

INK DEMON AND BENDY THEORY
So Bendy's official Instagram account just posted something very interesting, and I want to theorise about it!
For awhile the social media account for Bendy have been doing these posts where Bendy takes a photo of a location from BATDR and steals an item from that location, and people have to guess what he took. I thought it was just an unimportant game to give the social media managers something to do, like Steelwool's 'Guess The Sketch', but now it's actually important.
The picture shows that Bendy built all his stolen items in the shape of his Ink Demon form, with an interesting caption. Some fans have took this post to mean that Ink Demon ordered small Bendy to make a statue of him, but I don't think that's true.
I'm a big fan of the "Bendy is the Ink Demon with the mind of a child, and they are NOT seperate people" theory, and I don't think this post disproves that.
So if you know my past TPOH and FNAF theories, then you know its time for another round of:
SOLAR NEEDLESSLY OVERANALYZING THE GRAMATICAL STRUCTURE OF SENTENCES TO MAKE A THEORY EVEN THOUGH MOST PEOPLE DON'T PAY THAT MUCH ATTENTION TO HOW THEY PHRASE THINGS
Lets dissect this single sentence like a frog!!
"His inner Ink Demon is always on his mind-"
If Joey Drew Studios had phrased this as "IN his mind", then I see how this would be more literal. Meaning that the Ink Demon is a separate entity to Bendy and is literally living IN his mind.
But they didn't, they said "ON his mind". This phrase is usually used more metaphorically. If I'm hungry, I can say that dinner is 'on my mind', but that doesn't mean my dinner is actuallly INSIDE my brain. All this means is that Bendy has been thinking about his memories of his Ink Demon form, and therefore made a statue of him when he looked like that. Possibly to try and communicate his complicated feelings through art, or maybe he collected those specific items almost subconsciously.
Second of all, if the Ink Demon really was ordering Bendy around from inside his mind to make that statue for him, then I don't think it looks right. In BATIM, there are multiple shrines made by followers of the Ink Demon like Sammy, that look more demonic. As you can see, Bendy's statue doesn't look anything like that. Not a candle or pentagram in site! I feel like if this was made by the request of the Ink Demon, it would look way more like the ones from BATIM. But it doesn't! Instead, I think it looks more like it was made by Bendy on his own accord, like a children's drawing.
"His inner Ink Demon-"
Again, Joey Drew Studios decided to take the less-literal more-metaphorical route of this phrasing. If they just said "THE ink demon" then it would imply the Ink Demon as his own separate entity. But saying "inner" when referring to a buried memory of someone's past is not uncommon to do for regular use as well. For example, if I draw cats a certain way then I can say it's my "inner warrior cats fan" coming out. That doesn't mean there's actually a warrior cats fan inside my brain ordering me around, it's symbolic.
"on his mind, searching for an exit."
This also doesn't disprove my theory. The Keepers technology is preventing him from turning into his Ink Demom form. This means he can't use his powers and is weaker and smaller. It's clear he at least vaguely remembers what the Keepers did to him because of how scared he is of the GENT building.
Since he is in an incredibly hostile environment, it's no surprise he'd be thinking of a time where he wasn't as vulnerable. And he would also be trying to find a way to be strong again, in his own child-like way. Which explains the statue.
Personally, I find this all way more interesting then "rrr ink demon scary rrr", but to each their own.
I have more evidence for my "Bendy is the Ink Demon with the mind of a child, and they are NOT seperate people" theory outside of this instagram description, but I've already written enough for this post. I may make another post about it but we'll see. Please comment if you have anything else to add ^^

Although the poor working conditions and declining finances of Joey Drew Studios in its final years were public knowledge, it was what went on at the company after hours on the lower floors that would be the secret that Mister Joey Drew would carry with him until the very end of his life.
-Secret-
-----
By all accounts, this was only the third idea I had to think of for this prompt.
I originally thought of doing something about SOTM, because of "Secret", you know. Kind of an obvious direction, right? But since I had already made "Umbrella" SOTM-centric, I didn't want to repeat the game or the idea, I wanted something different from what I did for the last prompt. Then I thought of doing something with Wilson. Maybe tie it in with his audio log in Dark Survival. But I thought about this idea a little more and realized that in the end, I would just be rehashing an idea I had come up with a few months ago. Of course, it was a separate piece, not related to the event, but like I said, I didn't want to repeat past ideas. And I also didn't want to make a drawing that in the end would just be a redux of a drawing I had already done this year.
In the end, I went with the Ink Demon. Always draw the ink guy when nothing else comes.
And come to think of it, he fits the prompt well. "The head of this animation studio was responsible not only for the creation of ink monsters - one including a twisted, demonic version of the company's mascot - but also for the deaths of some of its employees (some correlating with the creation of these same monsters)" is something I would consider a secret. A big secret, at that.
I wanted to illustrate the day the demon broke free. We know he was locked away, and that he definitely ended up breaking free. How, I don't know. But he's the Ink Demon. He's That Guy, so I don't question it too much.
I don't think I'd consider this drawing to be "This is definitely how I imagine the Ink Demon breaking free." It was something I did on the spur of the moment. It might be similar, but it's not THE way I see it, you know. I don't know where or what Joey thought of locking this guy up, but considering the most dangerous thing the Ink Demon ever did in the beginning was "wander around the office" (going by his audio log), I didn't go for anything too big. A cell in a room deep in the basement is clearly enough for a being like this. It's not like he's capable of hurting anyone, right?
Well,it didn't work. He broke free. Which wouldn't be surprising.
After all, it takes more than a few metal bars and an old wooden door to stop a tyrant.
#bendy and the ink machine#batim#bendy and the dark revival#batdr#the ink demon#ink demon#the ink demonth#crookedsmileart#I KNOW in BATIM and BATDR he's stopped by boards; a wooden door and a steel door but SSSHHHHHH#WE DON'T TALK ABOUT THOSE MOMENTS /j#last year I did a prompt for the Ink Demonth feat. Inky here#and that was technically my last entry for last year's event#I consider that drawing to be Not Good#and I consider this one my redemption;#a traditional Ink Demon drawing for the Demonth event that Looks Good#I can erase that drawing from my memory now#The Ink Demon's (BATIM) body is something I kind of have a hard time drawing#because I always want to do it in a way that looks. right. and there are times when I don't do it justice#so when I don't draw his body and just the head/neck area it's easier lol#first 5 prompts of the event completed LETS GOOOOO on to prompt 6!!!!!!

Demonic Possession (BATIM smut: Ink Demon x F!Reader) [NSFW]
(art by Hikase555)
Goodie Bag: Vaginal sex, creampie, monster sex, biting/marking, breeding, fluff and smut, dry humping, grinding [please let me know if i'm missing anything].
Now Playing: The Rigs - Devil's Playground (click here to listen)
Taglist: @omniuravity @eldritch-affair and any other fellow monster/demon fuckers!
~~~♡♡♡~~~
A/N: Oooh man, the monster fucker in me is salivating over Ink Demon rn. I couldn't find a lot of Ink Demon smut (if any) so I made one myself. A few things before we start. 1) The ink demon will not be referred to as Bendy in this, just 'the Ink Demon'. I go against canon and see Bendy and the Ink Demon as separate entities, so it applies here. 2) the look of the Ink Demon in this story is going by hikase555's design. The header image is by them, but here's another one for further reference: [click here]. 3) I had my boyfriend help me with the intro, so if there appears to be a slight disconnect in writing styles at the start, that is why. One last thing: if you ever get confused on how kissing works in this, the kisses work pretty much like how it worked in this image: [click here]. Ok, on with the show!
~~~♡♡♡~~~
Bending through the corridors of the Cycle left closed and locked away, a sound painfully wailed behind the walls. He once found comfort being given form, but now he dreads the very existence left to be his fate; why must ink demons have heat cycles?
The Ink Demon knew that his heat would start today, it started the same time each year (wait, do years even go by in the cycle?). He would usually be able to control it by pleasuring himself in many different ways, and it would usually work, but now he was insatiable. He needed to find a mate or else lose his mind trying to hold off til the end of his cycle, which he knew he couldn't do.
As he ran through the list of potential candidates in his head, a shrill scream rang out through the halls. It wasn't a scream he recognized as anyone from the studio, so he went to investigate. He followed the commotion to find a chase between the Projectionist, and a woman he'd never seen before. A smile grew on the Ink Demon's face. Maybe this was his chance.
-Some time before-
You heard the rumors about the abandoned studio from the 1930s near your apartment from many people, but never really believed them. However, the mystery of what could be inside the surprisingly intact building enticed you to go see for yourself. When you entered the studio, everything around you turned black and sepia. You walked through the halls and explored the many rooms, to the point where it seemed endless.
But you soon found that, unfortunately, you were not alone.
Many humanoid blobs made of ink and morphed versions of the Bendy characters would try to attack you, at an increasingly growing rate. You were able to outrun them, but you started to grow paranoid over whether they'll be back. Nevertheless, you kept exploring, but you carried a makeshift weapon (you found a broken piece of pipe). You walked into a room where there was a projector running, displaying some footage for some TV special with Joey Drew as the host. You took a closer look at the projector, impressed by its ability to still run after all these years. But then, you noticed ink starting to drip down the projector. The ink formed into a puddle and then grew into a body, attaching to the projector. It lifted it off the stand and was now a walking ink being with the projector as its head. The creature turned to you and let out a terrifying shriek, then started to charge at you. You dodged it and ran out of the room, the projector being chasing you.
-Now-
You ran and ran as fast as you could but you could hear that projector being catching up to you. Soon, to your horror, you hit a dead end. You turned to see your demise coming closer and closer. You put your arms up in a defensive position and shut your eyes tight, waiting for a swift death. But then there was a loud sound and then, silence. You slowly opened your eyes and saw the projector on the ground, separated from the demon's body. You put your arms down and almost jumped when you saw who killed it.
It was a 7 foot tall, malformed figure with skin made of black ink that almost looked like tar, appearing to have a fit human torso, legs, and arms, but with a very small waist. His head looked like Bendy's, but it looked like someone dumped ink on his head, making him look melted. It covered his eyes, so you couldn't see them, if he even had any. His horns were curved and almost looked like a crescent moon, almost. His smile matched Bendy's, but it was much wider. His left hand had 4 fingers and was wearing a white, ink-stained glove, while the other hand had 5 fingers and wore nothing. While you couldn't help but blush as you looked at him, you noticed that he wasn't trying to attack you. He was just...standing there, looking at you.
He stood motionless, his gaze fixed on you. His presence felt unnerving and sinister as he slowly approached you, a faint smile curling at the corners of his mouth. You started to relax as your fear started to dissipate. When you saw its smile, you couldn’t help but feel a blush appear on your cheeks. The Ink Demon's smile widened as he continued to approach you, his steps slow and deliberate. His gaze, intense and penetrating, never left your face. He then knelt in front of you, his head in front of your chest, which brought a lump to your throat for some reason. Maybe it was the invasion of personal space.
You felt a bit of unease in your stomach due to his gaze, but you figured he was safe, since he saved you from that projector thing. You cautiously reached your hand out and you gently put your hand on his cheek. As your fingers made contact with the Ink Demon's face, his inky skin felt cool and smooth to the touch. The ink didn’t stick to your fingers, much to your surprise. He remained still for a moment before slowly tilting his head slightly, resting his head in your hand, a low purr in his throat. It seemed that he found comfort in your touch.
You reached your other hand to touch his other cheek and you couldn’t help but smile warmly, realizing he wasn’t like the other monsters in this building, and that your assumption of him being safe was right. The Ink Demon's expression seemed to glimmer with a mix of curiosity and something akin to affection as you held his head in your hands. You felt as he slowly placed his large hands around you, like he was holding a doll. The Ink Demon's grip on you was surprisingly gentle, his ink-covered hands enveloping you with an almost protective hold. He was handling you like you were made of glass and if he moved wrong or squeezed you too tight, you’d shatter to pieces.
His gaze remain fixed on your face, his expression filled with a strange sense of connection. You couldn’t deny that you felt that connection too, along with a warm feeling in your chest. You thought about how sweet this demon was being, that maybe this was its true nature. You then thought about how it must’ve been so long since he’s seen anyone here that wasn’t a monster out for blood, and how lonely he must’ve been. After that thought, you felt a sense of compassion for this creature and you leaned forward and laid a soft kiss on his head.
The Ink Demon seemed surprised by the action, because it backed up a bit. You felt like you did something wrong, so you said, “I-I’m sorry. Was that too much..? I..I...” That’s when the Ink Demon slowly shook his head, his face softening as he continued to hold you. He reached up with one hand and gently touched the spot where you kissed him, a small smile forming on his face. Something told you that he really liked that. After that, he lifted you up and took you to another room.
The next thing you knew, you were in a room with a makeshift bed in the middle of the room. Must’ve been where the Ink Demon slept, you figured. As he placed you on the mattress and stood in front of you, you wondered why he brought you here, until you thought more on it.
Why else would someone bring you to their room? Because they want you to stay.
You look at the Ink Demon and ask, “You..want me to stay with you, don’t you?” The Ink Demon's smile widened slightly, and he nodded in response to your question. He released his grip on you but took your hand and gently held it, as if urging you to stay. Well, it wasn’t like there was anything for you outside of the building. You had no one waiting for you, no one to be worried about you if you disappeared. Plus, it’s not like there was a possible exit to this place anyways. So you looked at the demon and smiled, saying, “Alright. I’ll stay with you.” The Ink Demon's eyes lit up with a mixture of gratitude and excitement, then he nuzzled the top of your head and licked your cheek.
You felt a stinging pain on your cheek, so you touched where he licked and there was blood. Turns out you got hurt as you ran away from that Projector Demon. You noticed you got a few scratches on your cheek and on the side of your neck and on your shoulder, all bleeding. “Shit...” you said to yourself. The Ink Demon tilted his head slightly, observing your injuries with a mix of curiosity and concern. Slowly, he went to your cheek again. The Ink Demon’s long, inky tongue snaked out from his mouth and delicately licked at the blood on your wounds. As you felt the stings, you noticed that even though he was terrifying and intimidating, he was still being so gentle with you. As he continued to clean your wounds, a low growl rumbled in his chest, almost as if he was trying to comfort you. You felt a blush form on your cheeks and when you heard his comforting purr, you felt touched that he cared about you enough to comfort you through the pain.
He then moved from your cheek to your neck and shoulder. You felt his hot breath on your neck, his tongue slowly caressing it as he cleaned up the blood. It sent a heat down to your very core and you could feel yourself getting hot from this. As he slid his tongue down to your shoulder wound, you accidentally let out a soft moan. In response, the Ink Demon’s purr deepened as he continued to lick your wounds. His tongue brushed against your skin, sending shivers down your spine. His gaze stayed locked on you as he continued to lick you, seemingly lost in thought.
He went towards the spot between your shoulder and your neck and he growled again, but a bit louder this time. He then bit down gently on your skin, drawing a bit of blood. A small, almost unnoticeable amount of ink dripped from his teeth onto your skin, sinking into the bite as he marked you as his. You gasped softly as he bit you, but not out of pain. The ink seemed to numb any pain the bite would've caused and it actually intensified your heat. You couldn’t help but start to feel aroused from his bite, his tongue, his touch, his everything. The Ink Demon’s growling deepened as he continued to leave more marks on your shoulder, now with more purpose than before. He could sense your arousal, and it only served to fuel his own. He knew that you had to be his mate, there was no denying it. He wanted you oh so badly, his very being was screaming for him to devour you.
You couldn’t help but reach your hands out and touch him. You wanted to feel his skin, to know that what you were experiencing was real. The Ink Demon purred, reveling in the warmth of your touch. You gently touch his arm, trailing your fingers along his slick inky skin. You reached his hand and after feeling his palm and fingers, you gently intertwined your fingers with his, holding his hand. He smiled warmly and leaned down slightly, pressing his forehead against yours and allowing your intertwined fingers to rest between you. You blushed red and you felt a warm and tight feeling in your chest. Were you starting to fall for this gentle beast?
You started to trail your other hand down his chest and along his stomach, feeling how smooth his skin was. The Ink Demon inhaled deeply, his body shuddering slightly at your touch. He gazed at you, his cheeks flushed and his smile so warm and inviting. He reached out with his other hand, placing it on the small of your back and pulling you closer to him. You gasp softly at his touch, sending shivers down your spine. “Y..You can..t..touch me too...i..if you want,” you were able to say softly.
The Ink Demon pressed his lips against yours, the kiss gentle and slow. His hand moved up your back, tracing the curve of your spine and pulling you even closer to him. His other hand trails down your side, resting on your hip as he explored your body. You kissed him back, letting a moan escape into his mouth. The Ink Demon smiled, pulling away from your lips to kiss your cheek and neck. His hand moved down to your thigh, slowly tracing its contours as he pulled you even closer to him. You sighed softly as his fingers traced along your thigh, opening your legs slightly to let him touch even more of you. The Ink Demon's hand moved further up your thigh, slipping beneath the hem of your dress and exploring the smooth skin beneath. He pressed his forehead against yours, letting out a purr and allowing himself to fully experience the sensations that were running through him. You felt your body heat up more as his hand slid up your dress, and you decided to just speed up the process for him. “H..Here...let me help you..”
You undid your dress and let it slide off of you, leaving you nude except for your panties. You heard a deep lust-filled purr in his throat once you were nude. He gently laid you onto the mattress, ready to prepare you for him. The Ink Demon moved his hand up to your breast, squeezing it gently and exploring the contours of your body with his fingertips as he kissed your neck and shoulder, licking the fresh bite mark and your wounds. He pressed his groin against yours, feeling the heat between your legs as he explored your body with his hands, mouth, and tongue. You moaned as you felt the heat from between his legs touch yours. You couldn't help but slowly rub your groin against his, so he felt as good as he was making you feel.
The Ink Demon smiled, admiring your desire for him. His hand moved up to your face, cupping your cheek as he leaned in to kiss your lips again. He pressed his groin against yours, feeling your warm, wet center against him as you both move against each other, your bodies intertwined and your breaths becoming heavier and faster. The Ink Demon moved his hips against yours, feeling your body shudder with pleasure as you came closer and closer to release. He slipped his hand down to your panties, feeling the wetness between your legs as he ripped them off, exposing you to him completely.
Once your panties were gone, you felt something touch your pussy. You look down and you saw something growing from his groin, which formed into a large cock, matching his skin. The Ink Demon smirked as he grabbed your thighs and rubbed his cock on your pussy for a bit, until he slipped his hand between your bodies, guiding his cock inside of you, gripping both your thighs and slowly pushing himself deep inside. You couldn’t help but let out a moan as he stretched your walls so deliciously. He leaned forward, grabbed your jaw, and kissed your lips, his tongue exploring your mouth as he feels your body writhe beneath him. He started doing long and deep thrusts, your bodies entwined and your breath coming in short, gasping breaths as you both feel the pleasure building within you both.
You had never felt this sort of ecstasy before in your life, not even with any other partner. This thing was reaching depths you never knew were possible, sensitive spots you didn’t even know you had. “Ahh..! S..So..good..!!” you couldn’t help but let out of your lips once he broke the kiss. The Ink Demon's hand moved down to your ass, squeezing it gently as he thrusted into you, feeling your body shudder with pleasure. He kissed your neck and shoulder, his tongue exploring the contours of your skin as you both come closer and closer to release. He could feel his cock throb inside of you, the pleasure building within him as he moved faster and faster, feeling her body writhe beneath him.
He changed position slightly as he lost himself in the pleasure, grabbing your wrists and putting them above your head, your legs a bit in the air as he leaned towards you more and thrusted harder into you. You moaned at each thrust, trying not to cry out loud. The Ink Demon let his tongue out and licked up your belly and breasts as he fucked you so well. Ink dripped from his tongue, leaving trails on your body, like you were his canvas for his lust-filled creation.
He kissed your lips once again, feeling your tongue explore his mouth as you both came closer and closer to release. Finally, he felt your body convulse beneath him, your pussy clenching around his cock as you came, your moans filling the air as you cry out in ecstasy. He follows soon after, letting out a primal roar and feeling his cock throb as he filled you full with his hot, sticky seed. You felt like you were in another realm than you were as the pleasure from your release flowed throughout your body and you arched your back. All that existed was your full womb, the cock inside you, your body, and pleasure. You could feel his seed fill your belly so much that the sensation caused a second orgasm to rock your body.
Once you come back to reality, you both stay like that for a moment, your bodies intertwined and covered in each others’ cum as you both caught your breath, before the Ink Demon collapsed onto the bed, laying next to you and pulling you close. The Ink Demon kissed your cheek, feeling your smile as you both lay there, your hearts pounding in your chests. You hugged him close, your head resting on his chest. He then leaned to your ear and whispered in a deep, gravelly voice, “I love you.” While you were a bit surprised he could actually talk, you felt warmth flood your heart and you smile, kissing his cheek before saying, “I love you too.” The Ink Demon smiled, feeling his heart swell with warmth as he hugged you tightly. He rested his chin on top of your head, closing his eyes and enjoying the feeling of your warm body pressed against his. You both lay there, holding each other close, until eventually, you both fall asleep, your bodies still intertwined.
‘I think I’m going to love this new life,’ you thought to yourself before letting sleep take you.

hear me out… childhood friends to lovers with joseph and it’s mixed with idiots in love
and that’s all i got because i’ve been CRAVING for this for WEEKS😆 — please and thank you <33
also love you and your work💖
your wish is my command... (and thank you!!! <3)
You almost missed the whispered words that Joe said to you. You were asleep on his shoulder, or at least half-asleep— it wasn't exactly that the movie was boring you to sleep, but you were exhausted from work. Still, you agreed to come over to Joe's flat for movie night, because who were you to cancel your weekly movie night with your best friend just because you were tired? He would understand if you fell asleep; hell, he'd probably do the same.
You and Joe had been friends since you were children in nappies, in preschool together, toddling around and playing house and Legos together. That persisted through your childhood and into adolescence, even though he got teased for having a girl best friend— he never let anybody get to him, and you admired that about him. You shared clothes, shared beds, you did everything together, and even now, all these years later, Joe was still your Number One.
"I wish you loved me."
"Hmm?" you mumbled, blearily blinking yourself awake. "Wha's'that, Joey?"
"Oh, nothing," Joe said softly, rubbing your arm gently. "Don't worry about it."
"No, what did you say?" you asked, sitting up slowly. "'Cause it sounded like you said something about me loving you or something..."
"Well..." Joe started. "I mean..." He cringed, and he mumbled, "You know I love you, darling."
"I know," you said. "And I love you too, you know that. So why'd you wish that I did?"
"I meant more..." Joe started. "Darling, do we have to talk about this?"
You scoffed. "Well, now I especially wanna talk about it," you told him. "All because you're avoiding it now."
"Shit," Joe mumbled. "I just think that... Fuck, I don't know. I love you, and I wish that you loved me the way that I love you."
"What are you talking about?" you asked. "Love me, like... Love me? Like, dating and shit like that?"
"See, I knew you wouldn't feel the same way," Joe mumbled. "Fuck, just forget I said anything."
Before you could stop yourself or even really think about it, you turned fully to him and grasped his face, and you drew him to you, kissing him deeply. Joe went pale and froze for a second, but he collected himself, his hands cupping your cheeks as he kissed you back. His lips were soft and warm, moving against your beautifully, and you smiled before the kiss broke away. "I don't want to forget you said anything," you told him, touching your forehead to his. "Because I do love you like that. I just never thought you'd feel the same."
"I do," Joe said. "I've loved you for years."
"So have I," you said. "I've been jealous of every girlfriend you've ever had."
"Oh, my girl," Joe whispered, and his arm wound around you, tugging you fully against him. "Sorry I was so stupid for not seeing that."
"Well, I didn't see it either," you chuckled. "You're fine. Just as long as you never let me go now."
"Never," Joe said, and he pressed a kiss to your hair.

The Ink Demonth 30
Today's theme is Cage
===============================================
"Henry Stein... Or... should I say the paltry copy of him?"
Henry didn't turn around. He didn't know what the purpose of Wilson's visit was, but whatever it might be he wasn't interested in indulging the pageantry.
"What, nothing to say?" Wilson's voice drew closer.
"Not to you," Henry replied coolly.
"Ah, so you can speak." Condescension dripped from Wilson's voice. "And here I thought Drew had made you mute. It would certainly suit his sensibilities to rob his tool of vengeance of the ability to speak against him."
Henry let out a long sigh. If he didn't nip this in the bud, the monologuing would probably just continue. And he really wasn't in the mood to deal with more of that right now. So, he turned around on his stool to face Wilson.
"Let's just cut to the chase here," he said. "What do you want?"
"Must I want something?" Wilson asked, feigning innocence.
Henry stared incredulously at him. "If you don't want anything, you can leave. I'm not in the mood for this."
"In the mood for what?" Wilson asked.
"This." Henry gestured at Wilson. "The gloating, the pageantry, lording my captivity over me. I get it, you think you're very clever and you want me to be in awe of your intellectual prowess and the power you have over me." He made a derisively grand, sweeping gesture around the room before letting his arms drop back to his sides. "But this isn't my first rodeo and I'm not interested in sitting around while you grandstand. I couldn't tell Joey I was tired of his shit, but I can sure as Hell tell you."
Wilson's brow furrowed, clearly annoyed by Henry's refusal to indulge him. "You're awfully bold for a rat in a cage," he said. He sounded like a petulant child, something that almost made Henry laugh.
"I don't know if I'd call it boldness." Henry shrugged. "More like being too old to deal with this nonsense."
"I could kill you, you know," Wilson said, moving closer to the glass of Henry's cell. "I could reduce you to nothing more than a puddle of ink. I could erase you from this world."
"Then do it." Henry maintained eye contact.
Wilson blinked, looking momentarily thrown for a loop. "What?"
"I said, do it," Henry repeated. "Nothing else has been able to put me out of my misery, you might as well give it a try. Who knows? Maybe you'll get lucky."
For a moment, anger overtook the surprise on Wilson's face, although he quickly schooled his expression into one of stoic calm. "How truly pathetic you are," he said. "Do you wish for death that much?"
"Is it really pathetic to want to rest when you've spent decades being killed and mutilated in the most horrible ways by things that used to be your friends?" Henry asked with a tight smile. "You said it yourself. I'm not Henry Stein. I was made by Joey solely for him to vent his frustrations onto. I think I'm allowed to want an out."
"So you admit it?" A triumphant, smug smile tugged at Wilson's lips.
"I'm admitting nothing." Henry slid off his stool to approach the glass, his own smile vanishing. "No matter what you think, I'm not the pathetic one here." He leaned close to the glass, his gaze boring into Wilson. "You are."
Wilson's angry snarl returned. "What?"
"Does it make you feel powerful torturing the creatures here?" Henry asked, continuing to hold eye contact with Wilson. "Does it make you feel strong and important? And do you really think that any of this makes you better than Joey?"
"I am better than Drew!" Wilson snapped, slamming a fist into the glass. "His mind was small! He had no idea what this machine could do! I will use it to its full potential! I will prove my greatness!"
"You will fall." Henry pronounced this like a prophecy, his eyes almost seeming to glow as he stared Wilson down. "No one here could get to Joey when he was controlling the Loop." He paused, leaning closer to the glass again. "But we can absolutely get to you."
He watched as the color seemed to drain out of Wilson's face.
"You're not a god, Wilson," Henrey continued, his voice gaining an unearthly quality as he spoke. "You're just a man. And men can be killed."
Wilson left without another word, allowing Henry to return to his sketching. Eventually, Wilson's crimes were going to catch up to him. He was turning the whole studio against him. And sooner or later... someone would come for him.
Henry just needed to wait to see who it would be.

I'm making a story! I decided to turn it into a AU for now!
So I had this cute idea...
Your relationship with Joey.
You are Y/n (obviously!), and you have been with Joey since the beginning of Joey Drew Studios. You were Joey's personal assistant due to your uplifting spirit. He felt he could trust you. You knew of all Joey's top-secret things, mainly because he used you almost like a test dummy to explain what was on his mind when he needed a clear head. Or just for the sake of planning. He mainly did this when Henry left, and oh, the hours of ranting you heard.
The Machine.
When the Ink Machine was created, you certainly had a lot of questions, but Joey explained them in due time. You were there the day he first tried it. As absurd as it is, it was kinda fascinating in a way. (I'm skipping, and you can't tell me otherwise!)
Babysitting...
When Ink Demon Bendy was first created, he was shoved into a room and put in chains (brought to you by Thomas Connor), and to no surprise, he was very loud and angry. Many workers started questioning Joey about this. He needed a solution right away before more workers got too suspicious.
In Joey's office, you and him sat in deep thought... Well, more like Joey in deep thought, you were just there because you needed to be. He was very stressed at this point. He needed something to go down there and keep it entertained and quiet... Or someone... That's when the idea popped into his head, he could send someone down there, but who? You asked him if he was alright because he was making weird faces, And that's when another thought popped into his head, why not have you go down there! You're a kind-hearted person with great communication skills. Besides, you already knew about it anyway, so there would be no need to explain anything. Next thing you know, you have a "Secret job" called babysitting (Yay)! Tom gives you the keys to the door and gives you a handful of warnings and instructions.
Bendy!
When you first walk in, Bendy is all but nice and growls at you. You lock the door behind you and sit down on the floor. You figure he can't talk at all. He probably could, but like a baby, he'll learn with time. You decide not to speak either, and just let him get used to your presence. During the time you wait for Bendy to warm up to you, you'll start bringing books to work with you so you have something to do because you doubt he wants you to stare at him. Unlike you, he'll stare at you almost the entire time, studying your movements and looks (if I make this into a story, I want him to call you out on something simple in the future like if you're nervous, you'll itch the back of your neck)
He'll start getting curious about you and what you are looking at (He can understand you, but can't speak). You'll start bringing fun, and interesting books with you to read to him.
Bendy needs to eat something, so you bring him some bacon soup, which Joey allows (It's also Joey's excuse to get rid of the extra in Storige). Bendy will later get sick of the soup. (That's why he eats ink flesh! :). One day, you'll bring a bag of marshmallows to work with you because you were hungry on your way over. When you get there, Bendy decides to watch you eat some marshmallows, and he instead eats his bacon soup. You notice him staring at your marshmallows, so you decide to walk over to him and give him some. He sits there for a bit and messes with them, gently squishing them between his fingers, finding the weird but oddly satisfying texture fun. After snapping out of his trance, he finally eats it.
Thus marks the day you always brought a bag of marshmallows to work...
He finds your touch very wired. Since you're human, you're ten times warmer than he is. It's oddly comforting to him. When you're touching him, the ink on him that you're touching feels all tingly. It shows him how different you and him are... His ink can easily stain you and your clothes, but you can easily clean up his stains on your skin by scrubbing it with alcohol. Sadly, your clothes are forever wrecked. :(
You feel the need to teach him how to speak, so one day you decide to teach him how to say words that would help you both during your time together. Sometimes, he'll listen in on conversations elsewhere in the studio, and slowly he'll start to gain a vocabulary on his own. (By the time you see him in Bendy and The Dark Revival, he'll have a great vocabulary and won't need help anymore)
Why did the place shut down?
The reason why the place went down was because of bankruptcy. Your inky friend didn't belong to you and was still Joey's, so you sadly had to depart. Joey will have somehow shoved him into the bendy realm with the not-real Henry.
After the studio went bankrupt, you had many dreams of Bendy and wished to see him again.
You honestly missed the old cartoons, you missed Bendy, and you missed your coworkers. After a few years, you heard Joey died, and the ownership of Bendy was now in the hands of Arch Gate Studios. After hearing they were hiring, you applied for a job in a flash. Not that you were hoping Bendy would be there, but because you were happy working there in the past (You're depressed). You became friends with Audrey and reunited with Allison and Tom.
How you get to Bendy and the Dark Revival.
You went to work early in the morning and decided to go down the elevator in the morning after Audry disappeared and look at the museum of your old friend, Joey. You soon find the Ink Machine and find ink puddles on the ground. A million thoughts were building up in your head as you were backing up to get the janitor. You then accidentally bumped into a switch, and the doors slammed shut behind you. The room fills with ink again, and you slowly get dragged into it. And now you're in Bendy and the Dark Revival!
My end thoughts.
I'll try to write this at my speed, so please don't rush me! I'm planning on having this story be two books split between the games after Bankruptcy and the beginning of Arch Gate Studios. Hope you guy like it! So long and farewell my Randoms!

headcannon headaches (pls help/j)
Context: ok so i have this incessent need to make my story as canon compliant as possible, and this goes for most fandoms im in. I'm flexible with some stuff (for example, i'll always have erasermic be married in my mha writing, i'll always have wolfstar exist in my mauraders stuff), but when it comes to timelines i am pretty strict.
a friend of mine once told me that my story fit so well they forgot it WASN'T canon and it made me so happy that I'm striving to do that even now.
ok onto the actual issue
I'm writing fic with Sammy in it and I've always headcannoned him as like, a bible-belt-farm-kid-oldest-son who didn't talk much with most people but MAN could he play that old piano at church like an extension of his own body and he doesnt have many friends but WOW can he make up a song on the spot and get everyone dancing in 2 shakes
i was kind of thinking south carolina. baptist. livestock farm. can you guess what they had? Sheep. :D
and this was all fine and dandy! except that Sammy somehow has to be working in New York as a teenager in 1922 in a cinema ! AwEsome......
I averaged it out so that he was around 15 or 16 in 1922, because thats kind of average teenager age making him around... born 1907, about 6 years younger than Joey Drew. which is fine, because that fits based on Joey's autobiography.
the PROBLEM is who in their right mind would have their teenage son move STATES all by himself to get a job at the cinema in new york im so freaking rigid that i don't want to change anything but... yknow, show must go on
OK so ive thought of... some solutions?
Have him be from a more northern bible-belt state. Virginia maybe. Still not great that he's moving states as a teen though
"starving artist wants to pursue his dreams" trope, maybe he could run off to the city with Jack or something? it could fit. downside is he'd never finish highschool. Which i suppose is fine. I personally don't think he had much musical education anyway (thats for a different post)
His father somehow gets a job in the city and sammy goes with him. This way he can finish highschool, but it does kind of take away part of the farm stuff i wanted and thats... not ideal.
i sound dramatic but my brain is not handling this wellllll....

Meanings of names. Batim/Batdr edition!
Hello there! I'm back with another name meanings list! This time it's the Bendy verse, because it was immortalized (Hehe heh get it) yet again, and I couldn't be more excited.
So! I will be doing the primary characters for both games, BUT not all of them. I’ll be doing all the folks from Batim, since there aren’t as many as in Batdr, which added a TON of new characters and I for the live of me can't do them all. It would take me an eternity, so there... So, I won’t do those who had like one tape or memo. Sorry. I also will not be including characters from the comics or the books. Yeah. (but I can do a part 2 if you guys want ehehehehe)
Let's go!
Toons (not doing the corrupted versions, they’re technically the same)
Bendy. I'm pretty sure that Meatly made it up from the name of some editing program. Something something Bender, not sure.
Boris. From a Bulgar Turkic name, also recorded as Bogoris, perhaps meaning "short" or "wolf" or "snow leopard". Hey! Literally a wolf!
Alice. From the Old French name Aalis, a short form of Adelais, itself a short form of the Germanic name Adalheidis, which means "noble type". Hmm, I like it! Fits her. I’m obviously also counting Twisted Alice and Allison Angel. They all have the same name.
Charley (one of my favourite characters hehehehe). Diminutive form of Charles, which means "man". Literally. Just man. MAN. That’s it. I guess that fits... Charley is, after all, A MALE. Yeah.
Barley. Means “grower of barley”. Lmao. Just like that.
Edgar. Derived from the Old English elements ead "wealth, fortune" and gar "spear". I mean... I guess? He has nothing to do with spears, but he’s got fangs. They’re sharp. Spears are sharp.
Humans (from here on going in alphabet order)
Allison Pendle. Norman French diminutive of Aalis, so basically the same as Alice. Cool! She’s very sweet, so it fits for her as well!
Audrey Drew (putting her here because I don’t really count her as an ink entity). Medieval diminutive of Æðelþryð, which is derived from the Old English elements æðel "noble" and þryð "strength". Oh, she sure is strong!
Bertrum Piedmont. Means "bright raven", derived from the Germanic element beraht "bright" combined with hramn "raven". Uhhmm. Ooook then. Not sure where the raven comes from.
Daniel ”Buddy” Lewek. From the Hebrew name דָּנִיֵּאל (Daniyyel), meaning "God is my judge". Nuuuu, Buddy:( I still feel very bad for him... Man, poor guy.
Grant Cohen. From an English and Scottish surname that was derived from Norman French grand meaning "great, large". Well, his boss had GRANT plans for the studio (please don’t hurt me, I know the pun is bad).
Henry Stein (the man!). From the Germanic name Heimirich meaning "home ruler", composed of the elements heim "home" and ric "ruler". OOOOHH, i love it! Considering he is the actual creator of Bendy, he technically is the ruler!
Jack Fain. Derived from Jackin (earlier Jankin), a medieval diminutive of John, which itself is derived from the Hebrew name יוֹחָנָן (Yochanan) meaning "Yahweh is gracious". Maybe Jack is jewish? It’s unlikely, but I literally don’t know what to say here.
Joey Dr(ew). Diminutive of Joseph, which was from the Hebrew name יוֹסֵף (Yosef), meaning "he will add". Endless torment, that’s what he’ll add. Ugh, poor Henry.
Lacie Benton. Variant of Lacy. From a surname that was derived from Lassy, the name of a town in Normandy. I couldn’t really find anything else, so...I guess?
Nathan Arch Sr. From the Hebrew name נָתָן (Natan) meaning "he gave". Wha- what’d he give? A new chance for Bendy to be relevant again? Idk, really.
Nathan ”Wilson” Arch Jr (please don’t hurt me, but I kinda like him as a villain... Like, yeah, he’s creepy as all heck, but isn’t that kinda the point? So there, I said it). I will be doing his moniker, since duh. The name comes from an English surname meaning "son of William". Eeeehhhh, almost fits, just replace William with Nathan.
Norman Polk (eeeeyyyy it’s ma dude!). From an old Germanic byname meaning "northman", referring to a viking. Now that’s interesting. I can’t tell English accents apart very well, but I saw someone say he’s got a southern accent. And then there’s NORTHman. Hmmmm.
Sammy Lawrence. Diminutive of Samuel, coming from the Hebrew name שְׁמוּאֵל (Shemu'el), which could mean either "name of God" or "God has heard". Lmao, I guess his god really did hear him. And decided to fucking murder him.
Shawn Flynn. Anglicized form of Seán, which on itself is the Irish form of John, so basically the same as Jack.
Susie Campbell. Diminutive of Susan. This was derived from the Hebrew word שׁוֹשָׁן (shoshan) meaning "lily" (in modern Hebrew this also means "rose"), perhaps ultimately from Egyptian sšn "lotus". Oh, maybe those are her favourite flowers!
Thomas Connor. Greek form of the Aramaic name תָּאוֹמָא (Ta'oma') meaning "twin". OH he and Buddy are technically twins! Or, well, clones.
Wally Franks. Diminutive of Walter, which comes from a Germanic name meaning "ruler of the army", composed of the elements wald "rule" and hari "army". Pffft, he’s the ruler of the army that got OUTTA THE STUDIO, yeah ok it fits.
Ink entities (not doing Sammy, Jack and Norman for obvious reasons)
Betty. Diminutive of Elizabeth. From Ἐλισάβετ (Elisabet), the Greek form of the Hebrew name אֱלִישֶׁבַע ('Elisheva') meaning "my God is an oath". The heck- did she turn into Sammy?
Big Steve. Short form of Steven, which derives from the Greek name Στέφανος (Stephanos) meaning "crown, wreath". Uhh, I guess? Is there something that we have yet to discover?
Heidi. German diminutive of Adelheid, which means "noble type", from the French form of the Germanic name Adalheidis. Damn, what’s with all the nobles? Unrelated, but I love her bowtie.
Porter. From an occupational English surname meaning "doorkeeper". Oooohh, ok then, he technically is one.
And that’s it! Whew, took me quite some time. Please do tell me if you want a part two with the other folks! I’m not sure, when (and if) I’ll make it, we’l have to see.

Random HC time: I don't think any actual toon would like Bendy, or at least not the normal ones.
Bendy is a character that parodies old animation characters, I don't think any normal toon would like him. Like in the crack up comics there's moments where Bendy is just a menace and although toons are known for their mischief Bendy is a straight up imp from hell, I feel like most will have a negative view towards him. The only ones who I think will actually take a liking to him are the screwball toons yet that really isn't much considering the screwballs are ya know, looney/zany. Like he'd get along with the Warners, Woody Woodpecker, maybe Daffy, all the ones who aren't just right in the head would love him. More normal ones like Mickey, Felix, Betty, Koko, Bosko, Popeye, yeah I don't think they'd really appreciate him and his antics as they aren't really endearing, they're more just troublesome. Honestly I'd go a step further and say Mickey and Oswald would specifically be disturbed by Bendy as a toon if they acknowledge the whole meta thing between his creators.
If you are uninformed in BATIM Joey Drew's and Henry Stein's relationship is a direct reference and parallel to Walt Disney's and Ub Iwerk's relationship and their entire history. Ya know, business and showman gets all the praise for making the cartoon whilst the hard working man effectively gets left in the background. Like imagine meeting some sorta alternate universe version of yourself that didn't have any of your virtuous traits as you and was just a nuisance. Not only that but his creators are also a parody of your own. Yeah I feel like Mickey would TRY to get along with Bendy yet still be borderline disturbed at the fact that there's a cruel joke of him prancing about, and I don't think Oswald would want anything to do with at all. Taking it one step further: if you brought up the ink demon aspect of Bendy's character and the whole "abandoned by creator" thing Oswald would downright DESPISE Bendy. Oswald still holds Walt close to him, he's mad and bitter about Mickey replacing him yet the statue in Epic Mickey clearly shows oh no he definitely still loves his creator, meanwhile Bendy was ya know locked up and grew to despise his creator and although granted the ink demon kinda had a valid reason to grow hateful and evil—I still feel like Ozzie wouldn't/couldn't fathom the idea of hating the person who created you.
This isn't a diss at toon Bendy either btw. The character strikes me as the type to only have few close friends because only a select few can put up with him. For the uninitiated Bendy would be absolutely annoying and most would hate him however obviously Boris and Alice already know his deal and it's why they're close friends with him because they already know what to expect and are used to it. Those who aren't used to him would absolutely hate him though and that's my firm belief.

Inky Reunion
Requested by: @youllallriseintheink thank you!
——
He ran his inky finger down the pale yellow wall, then he dragged his finger to the left, then up. Conducting to another line he pulled back and stepped away get a full view of the drawing he had just finished. The inky drawing contains to men sitting at a table talking and having a beer. Two men…him and his old boss and lover, Joey Drew. Henry hadn’t seen him in decades. Ever since he woken up in this world…this cartoon dimension. The man he loved was the same man that trapped him in this hell.
He met Joey the first time at a bar one night. He had just moved to town after a couple years in college then realizing it wasn’t for him, when a well dressed taller man sat beside him and introduced himself to him. When Henry locked eyes with him a few seats down, he instantly got the butterflies in his stomach. Joey was handsome and charming. He noticed and bought Henry a drink. Before he knew it, they were chatting together about their goals, dreams and family. They came up on the conversation of art. Both finding out they’d enjoyed and respected the arts. Henry even showed him a few of his drawings while Joey shares his progress of his company. Before the night ended, Joey had offered him a job there. Henry having no other plans for a certain job here took the offer. He figured he’d see how it would go and he could get another if it didn’t go well. The following week they met at the studio.
Safe to say, he loved working there….because he was now stuck here. Tricked by the one he fell for.
He sighed and sat down on the floor, leaning back on the wall. He hasn’t seen Joey in decades. In fact he doesn’t even know if he still alive. He knows Joey doesn’t own the pocket dimension anymore. That old creepy guy, Wilson, does. Since then he and so many others has been locked up in the pit. Sammy Lawrence in the one to his right. Where was Joey?..?
He often wondered this for hours every day and imagining different scenarios of where he is and what he would do. Even though he despised Joey for doing this to them all, Henry still vary much loved him.
His thoughts were interrupted by the door bursting open in the hallway of the pit. Like the other creatures that were locked up here, Henry went to the window to see what was going on. His mind couldn’t comprehend what his eyes were saying. Wilson’s goons were dragging Joey Drew into the pit. He looked old, dirty and defeated. Clearly he had lost his control of the dimension.
The two goons dragged Joey passed his cell , down the hallway. Joey looked beat up and Joey couldn’t help but feel sorry for but especially as the two locked eyes with each other. Henry could see the look in his eye. The shock of seeing Henry and a bit of fear of what would happen to him. He knew everyone hated him after what he did to them.
Henry watched as they threw him in the cell next to him but didn’t say anything to him.
——-
It wasn’t Intel the 3rd day before he got the nerve to talk to Joey. He stepped up to the corner they shared. “Joey…..hey are you ok?”
It took a moment before he replied back. “Henry?….is that you?”
“Yes…yes it’s me, Joey” Henry replied as he sat down.
His It was silence between them for a good while that Henry almost gave up on it before he heard it. “I’m sorry, Henry…”
He couldn’t even believe what he was hearing. Joey was sorry…? He never was sorry before…? Was this a trick?… Henry sighed in relief and leaned on the wall In thought.
“I know Joey …” he whispered after another moment.
——
Henry couldn’t sleep that night. Not because of what Joey had said. But because of what he was doing. He sound like he was passing back and forth. After what felt like an hour Henry rolls his eyes and headed to the corner* Joey. What are you doing?” He hissed. “The walls are paper thin”
“Henry? Oh I’m sorry I didn’t mean to keep you up…” he said after a moment. “I’m just worried about Audrey” he mentioned. “She’s out there alone fighting Wilson. We need to help her…”
Henry was surprised by Joey and how he actually wanted to help her. But he was right. Could he be acting nice to get help out?…. Maybe, but at th this point why act? “You really wanna help her?….”
“I do….” Came Joey’s voice though the wall. “I know I done terrible things… and I regret it. I want to make things right….better for you all….for my daughter…”
Henry nodded. “Alright ….but how are we going to get out of here?”
Just then they he heard a knock on the window next to him. There he found bendy, smiling up at him and gives him a wave. “Bendy….of course. He’s the way out” Henry mumbled then knelt down. “Hey Bendy. Can you help us out?”
Bendy nodded and opened both of their doors. When Henry saw Joey he felt hopeful now. Joey smiled at him and waved him over. “Let’s go. We have to help her and I got a plan”. Then he and Joey went off.

Memory Joey - What is your source?
Hi I did not get my full eight hours of sleep, and I am chomping at the bit with a new thought, so prepare for a slightly unhinged Kat theory about Joey.
Last night I was chatting with my partner in crime Beth about a number of Bendy things, but one of my many takeaways from that conversation was a new angle of looking at Memory Joey. So, recently I shared that I was frustrated with the narrative shift of Henry and Allison being ink copies, because it feels like it cheapens the original BATIM and doesn't do anything to serve the Joey Drew Redemption Arc (tm) narrative. We as the player know the man has a body count. Even if you take these two characters out of the mix, he's still responsible for the deaths of multiple other characters, mostly in the books, but like, come on, the whole "I own thousands of them" comment about souls in BATIM? The coffins with secret names on them? Joey you ain't slick. We spent too long establishing that Joey used his employees for their souls across MULTIPLE MEDIUMS to suddenly throw all of that out the window, and I don't entirely buy the idea that these two aren't the real deal. Granted, it still leaves us with questions about how the ink demon works given, there was also time dedicated to establishing that he was imperfect because he's soulless, but that's for another day.
But then, last night we talked about how none of these characters know Audrey is the daughter of Drew. And if they did know that, would their reactions be different? Would they still try to help her? I'm not sure. But it got me thinking about how there's a lot of things we the player know/believe that the characters don't. And that's when it hit me.
Memory Joey's story wasn't for us. It was for Audrey.
Now, that sounds obvious, like no duh, he's talking to Audrey for the whole scene, of course it's for her. Memory Joey doesn't know we as the players exist, he's got nothing to prove to us. But hear me out: that sequence wasn't meant to give us as players new information or prove he's a changed man, we weren't the ones who were supposed to believe in it. Audrey was. He has EVERYTHING to prove to Audrey. That's the daughter of the man he came from, his precious little girl, the first time he made something with the ink machine out of love, and she doesn't even remember that he's her father. Joey Drew, throughout his lifetime, cared a lot about how people saw him. Having shoes and a suit that didn't make him look poor, appearing financially stable to investors, the nasty things he had to say when he thought he wasn't being recorded, acting like he had control when everything he knew was falling apart, Joey was always trying to keep up appearances. And while I'll believe that he can mostly let go of that with time and growth, I don't think he could deal with Audrey, his daughter, seeing him as the bad guy. Especially when she doesn't remember Joey? Trying to make a good impression, sharing that yes, he did bad things, but he wasn't all bad? That he changed? That's covering Joey's ass something fierce.
Audrey isn't aware of Joey's body count. She doesn't know what happened to his employees. How Sammy became a cultist, how Susie was mistreated and manipulated to be desperate to be Alice. The entire story of Buddy Lewek and Norman Polk. She knows NONE of it! She doesn't know what he did. She doesn't know there were so many teenagers, just a little younger than her, that DIED because of his machine. And until you get the note about the kids that came before her, she has no idea she's not the first.
I often give Memory Joey a pass, he doesn't strike me as someone who would want to lie, especially to Audrey since he clearly cares about her. He delivers his slideshow presentation so earnestly, it feels like he truly believes this is what's true. But then I'm left questioning, what is his source? Why does he believe that they're clones? But maybe...maybe he is lying on purpose. I think it could be an equal opportunity for both. Joey was a liar in life, he lied about so many things (which is frustrating when he's the one giving us most of the information we look to to figure out how the heck ink works, Gent can you please give us some notes to cross reference?). Why wouldn't he lie to appear better to his own daughter? Memory Joey making that distinction for himself, that he himself cares for how Audrey sees him and Joey, would be a really valuable detail for his character, but him not knowing and believing all the information that someone like Joey left behind for him (since I'm assuming that's where his understanding of the cycle comes from) would also be interesting for his characterization.
But here's the kicker: by introducing the idea that Henry and Allison are not truly their human counterparts, if that turns out to be untrue, you've made a grave mistake Memory Joey. Audrey doesn't know any of these people were human before they became ink. I mean maybe she can deduce that other humans are in here given Allison's whole "I remember my first day" speech, but then Memory Joey throwing this at her, Allison is a creation rather than someone who was once alive? Who's to say she'd think twice about it? Wilson treats everyone like they're just ink and not worth caring for after all. But if she finds out about the sacrifices? That many of these ink creatures were once human? Oh Broseph my dude, you are gonna have a lot to answer for, more ways in which her trust in you will be utterly broken. That is a very messy, delicate balance. I kind of want to see that. I want to see him have his world view turned on its head, learning that he was wrong about Henry, and have him genuinely not know that he was fed bad information. Let him process that, let him struggle, and let Audrey grapple with the truth too.
Yeah, I don't necessarily think Henry and Allison are clones. Inhuman, yes, but clones? I think we need more than Memory Joey's word to know that for sure. So I ask again, sir, what is your source?

Yu-Gi-Oh dub continuity please. (You can smoosh DSoD dub into the timeline if you want to. I usually do.) Aro ace female reader, neurotypical but weird anyway. (I may be an introvert who spends hours alone by choice and doesn’t have a huge social circle, but I was born to be a ridiculous anime character who dresses flamboyantly, has a sense of the dramatic, and wants to impress people. It’s certainly how I try to live in Real Life.) Reader quickly lets go of past irritations, and is more interested in honesty than not getting her feelings hurt. Smart, and self-teaches herself whatever skills seem interesting or useful to her. Rather childish in a lot of ways even though she is an adult, with a real sense of wonder. Rarely responds to sarcasm with more sarcasm. Reader is also a decent duelist, but not at Kaiba’s level. Physically she’s three inches taller than Yugi, with a very slight build, no makeup, long straight hair past her waist, boyish posture and movement, and a great sense of balance and understanding of moving her own body. Not a lot of physical strength though, she can probably only do about 10 push-ups.
Reader always calls Kaiba by his last name. Kaiba calls Reader by her first name.
Set after the run of the show. Reader and Kaiba have become friends. (Mokuba and Yugi secretly worked a lot behind the scenes for years doing friend-matchmaking in order for the friendship to materialize. 😋) They have similar interests, figured out how to communicate well (although perhaps more brusquely than most,) trust one another, and each believes the other to also be uninterested in romance/sex (which is highly reassuring when you suspect all your friends and relations will one day fall in love and accidentally push you out of their life.)
I’d love some writing with excitement, adventure, trouble, or danger! (If you want to throw in some angst that would be fine as well.) Perhaps the reader and Kaiba end up in a bad situation which is quickly flying out of their control. One of the fun things about Yu-Gi-Oh is the fact this could stem from any number of absolutely bonkers reasons! Maybe they were abducted by aliens to be sold to other aliens as “important Earthlings you can enslave to show off or feel more important.” Or maybe a rival company decided to get quite cutthroat and try to take over Kaiba Corp with literal force. Did they get accidentally transported to a fantasy dimension where they drew the ire of an evil leader? Or maybe an eviler Gozaburo shows up from another dimension and tries to force Kaiba to join him in a multi-dimensional conquest, with the explicit threat that if he doesn’t help, then Kaiba and those he cares about can spend their lives firmly under Gozaburo’s thumb, serving him in much less enjoyable capacities. You can use any scenario that seems fun to write! (You can also include other characters like Yugi, Joey, Mokuba, etc. if it feels like the story needs it. I would love to be friends with any of the good guy Yu-Gi-Oh characters.)
Uh, silly thing, but I don’t like profanity, so it would be great if you could not use any when writing this particular request. (It’s definitely possible to write scary, threatening, creepy dialogue without it, so I hope it doesn’t inconvenience you too much.) Sorry!
And please don’t write the two main characters as having any interest in romance/sex.
Some violence is okay though. Even the dub has a lot of implied violence and brutality. Just, don’t go overboard into R rated territory.
Hope the formatting isn’t too bad.
If you have any questions, or would prefer I send in a different request, or would like me to send in this request again with different formatting, or would like to tell me you are refusing my request, feel free to DM me.
P.S. Do you have a Ko-fi or something similar?
Hiya Dei! No, I don't have anything like that. Maybe I should set up one though?
So sorry this took so long to write, but its finally here! I really do hope you enjoy it!
Edit: Fixed some POV errors and added the opposing companies' name.
Content: Platonic! Seto Kaiba x fem!Reader
Warnings: Kidnapping
Notes: I really enjoyed writing this!! It was like writing an episode of Yugioh and I've always wanted to do that :3 This turned out to be 13 pages long, so yippe!! I had a little funny joke at the end here lol
• ───────────────── •
After graduating Domino high, it’s like everybody hit the ground running with their dreams. Tea moved to America to pursue dancing, Joey and Yugi started working at Solomon’s shop, Bakura left Japan with his father to travel, Tristan began working at his fathers company, Duke left Domino City to spread Dungeon Dice Monsters around…and then that left you and Kaiba.
Kaiba needed someone who could watch Mokuba, but someone he could trust, and someone he could keep close. Joey and Tristan and Tea were out of the question, Duke definitely no, he would be caught dead before letting Mokuba around Bakura, and Yugi can’t keep anybody safe.
So he decided to hire you. A week after graduation, Kaiba approached you with the job position. You were thinking about your future anyway, figuring out whether or not you wanted to go to college, or go straight into the workforce, or do both. When Kaiba laid out the job position for you, you practically jumped on the idea.
“If you can’t handle this job position now, then back out of it while you still can.” Kaiba teased, though to a bystander, he was just insulting you due to his lack of a smile.
“I can handle it, don’t go doubting me just yet, Kaiba.” You jabbed back, also without a smile.
Finally, Kaiba allowed a small smirk to form. “That’s what I like to hear. Come with me, we’ll start the paperwork ASAP, and you start tomorrow.”
It was hardly much work compared to the pay you got from Kaiba. Your job was just to keep close to Mokuba and make sure any shady characters got dealt with. The rest of your time could be spent with Kaiba in his office, or doing something with Mokuba. It truly was a dream - you got to be near your best friend and get closer to the younger Kaiba brother.
So far, no shady characters have gotten past your watchful eye. But about six months after taking the job position, everything flipped upside down.
• ───────────────── •
A new ride and section of the arcade was built into Kaibaland, and Mokuba practically begged you to take him. You agreed, and now you were trapped in the heat with Mokuba and a few other security guards. The guards did a good job at keeping bystanders away from grabbing you or Mokuba, or just getting too close in general. You had to get used to paparazzi, but after the last three years with Yugi and your old friend group, that wasn’t a hard transition.
Mokuba stopped your train of thought by tugging your arm. “(Y/n), (Y/n) look! There’s the new rollercoaster! Can we go on it?!”
The heat was making you nauseous and dizzy. While you wanted nothing more than to go on with him, you knew you had to pass it up so you wouldn’t completely ruin his day. “Sorry, Moki. I need some water, I’m not feeling too good. But I’m sure one of the guards would be happy to go on with you.”
Mokuba pouted, but nodded. “Okay. But can we play games together in the arcade?”
“Absolutely.” You grin, patting the boy's head.
One of the guards, Bishop, volunteered to get on the ride with him. You approved it, knowing you could trust Bishop. He had been with Kaiba for a couple years now, and has always carried out his orders flawlessly. Another guard, Keith, went to grab you a bottle of water. You sat down on a nearby bench and watched as Mokuba got on the ride with Bishop, waved to him, then he was off. Leaning back on the bench, you felt like you were able to relax for the next few minutes. You closed your eyes, knowing the guards will help protect you while Mokuba was on the ride.
More than a few minutes passed, and the sounds of screaming from the roller coaster had stopped. Opening your eyes, you looked up to see if Mokuba had gotten off. To your horror, the ride wasn’t moving. Nobody was getting off or on. Part of the ride was going through tunnels, and since the ride itself couldn’t be seen, you guessed it was in one of those tunnels. Scrambling to get up and run towards the ride, you approached the fear-stricken teen girl trying to operate said ride.
“What happened? Why is the ride stuck?”
“A-ah! Miss (Y/n)! I-I don’t know, the wheels stopped and I can’t get it to work!” The poor girl was shaking, she was afraid she was going to lose her job.
Looking up at the broken up tunnels on the tracks, you had no idea which one the ride was in. Instead, you turned to the girl. “Which tunnel did the coaster go in before it stopped?”
“That one…” The girl pointed to the highest one, before her voice trailed off.
You looked up and saw a helicopter approaching the ride, one that didn’t look like a Kaiba Corp one. You immediately grew anxious. “Keith, Cole, Sam! Code: Mocha!”
“Yes ma’am!” The three men yelled in unison before swiftly taking out walkie talkies to inform other guards of the situation both on and off Kaibaland.
However, it was too late. Two men dropped from the helicopter and - presumably - cut a hole into the tunnel. Your heart rate picked up, and you foolishly tried to mess with the controls one more time, hoping and praying that it would work and you could get Mokuba back safe.
The teen girl next to you gasped and covered her mouth with her hands. You snapped your head back up to see the two men - now with an additional third man - rising back into the helicopter holding a struggling Mokuba.
“Mokuba!!” You screamed, banging your fists against the control panel.
There was nothing you could do. The three men got Mokuba into the helicopter and flew off, then suddenly the coaster began to move, the screams of the other passengers picking back up. Tears pricked your eyes and your head hung low. “Mokuba…”
• ───────────────── •
You sat in Seto’s office, eyes downcast as you informed him of what happened to Mokuba. He didn’t say anything for a moment, and you were afraid he was going to have an angry outburst. He had every right to of course, you just didn’t want something to hit you. Seto took a deep breath before standing.
“You were at the bottom of the coaster?” He asked.
“Yes.”
“And Mokuba was with Bishop?” Seto asked.
“Yeah.”
“I have an idea of what happened then. Come with me, (Y/n).” He grabbed his suitcase, closed his laptop and shoved it in before moving briskly past you.
You got up and quickly followed. You didn’t know if Kaiba was mad, but you decided it would be better to follow than ask questions. Kaiba stopped at Lisa’s desk - his secretary - and informed her to cancel any afternoon plans he had, and have his chopper ready, before continuing his strut throughout the building. They headed for the elevator, and once Kaiba pushed the highest button, you finally began to ask questions.
“Who do you think took Mokuba?”
“Bishop’s old company - Knightly Rook, a rival of Kaiba Corp in the business world for a little while now. But I never thought the company would stoop to this. Bishop was pretty loyal to them, and I had wondered why he quit. Now I know he never really quit.” Kaiba glared at the wall.
“No way…you really think Bishop was in on the kidnapping do you?” (Y/n) asked in disbelief, eyes wide and mouth almost gaping.
Although, it made sense. There had been a third man to join them after Mokuba was caught. Bishop hadn’t come off the ride. Your eyes fell to the ground and you turned your head away. “I’m so stupid…I’m so sorry, Kaiba. I thought he would be safe…”
“This isn’t your fault. It’s mine for not looking into him more.” Kaiba spoke, with an air of irritation in his voice. “We’re going to fix this, one way or another.”
You look up at him. “You mean…?”
Kaiba looks down at you and nods. “We’re going to duel them for Mokuba.”
“Wait, I don’t have my deck-” You objected before Kaiba placed a hand on your shoulder, and the other hand offered you your deck. “Oh.”
“You keep leaving it in my office. Your cards will get bent if you don’t put them in a case.” Kaiba made a mental note to get you one. Maybe he’d get you one with designs of your favorite card on there.
“Are we going to do a double team?” You asked.
“Most likely. The CEO and his assistant are close, and are almost never seen apart.” Kaiba explained. “Of course, I trust you’ll keep up with me during this duel.”
“Yes, Kaiba.” You nod, putting your deck away securely.
The elevator doors opened and they both stepped out into the gleaming sun. It had been an hour since Mokuba was kidnapped, but it felt like it was even hotter outside than before. Or maybe it was your body trying to get used to the fast shift between the heavily air conditioned Kaiba Corp building, and the scorching heat outside. The blades of Seto’s chopper were just beginning to start up, and he continued to stride towards it. After you both sat down and secured yourselves in your seats, Kaiba placed his briefcase on his lap and opened it.
“Can you hold this for me?” Seto asked.
“Sure.” You nodded, grabbing his computer.
He then lifted the bottom of his briefcase to reveal all of his cards. “I’ll allow you to pick ten to boost yourself in this fight. I can’t have you lagging behind.”
You gave him a pointed look. “I can handle myself with my deck.”
“Fine. Five cards, take it or leave it.” Seto moved the briefcase for you to get a better look at the cards.
Grumbling under your breath, you looked over some monster, trap and magic cards before choosing five you figured would benefit you. “Thank you, Kaiba.”
He only hummed, and began assembling his own deck. You saw him slip the three Blue Eyes into the deck of 40 cards, and you cracked a smile, but didn’t say anything, and the smile faded as soon as it showed up. You were nervous. For Mokuba’s safety and wellbeing, for your job, for your friendship with Kaiba. Were you done at Kaiba Corp for this? You hoped not.
Once Seto was done assembling his deck, he turned towards you and noticed your nervous look. He was nervous too, for Mokuba’s safety. But you seemed like you were worrying about a lot more. “...something on your mind?”
“Oh nothing, just going to gamble a child’s life over a children’s card game, what else is new.” You spoke sarcastically.
Kaiba understood. It was a lot for you to take in - before, either he would get Mokuba back himself or you had Yugi and his friends there to help you. Now, you’re Kaiba’s only backup. “I suppose you could put it that way.”
“How long until we get to this company?”
“A few hours. It’s on the other end of Japan. They’ll get there before we do.” Seto explained, looking out his own window.
“What do they want with Mokuba?” You asked.
“Probably something to do with me ignoring their requests for a meeting.” Kaiba spoke dismissively. “I doubt they’d purposely harm Mokuba if they ever want a shot at being in my good graces. Though now, that ship has already sailed.”
You looked back at him. “Kaiba, what happens if we lose?”
Kaiba glanced at you and huffed. “I don’t lose. And just because you’re some second rate duelist doesn’t mean you can go doubting yourself now too.”
Second rate? You thought to yourself. It was a step up from Joey, you supposed. “Thanks, Kaiba.”
“Whatever.” Kaiba shrugged and turned away.
As much as Kaiba acted mean and teased you, you knew by now that it was good fun. He wouldn’t keep you around if he actually hated you, much less let you use some of his cards and duel side by side with him. Kaiba had slowly become an older brother to you, and Mokuba had become a younger brother. You had hoped you’d become a sister to them, if not then a close friend. You watched the world go by as the helicopter flew to the Knightly Rook building. You closed your eyes and decided to rest for a moment before you’d have to hit the ground running.
• ───────────────── •
The helicopter landed and Kaiba shook you awake. The doors opened and once you both stepped out, you were met by a glammed up couple surrounded by guards. The man wore a mahogany suit, looked older (about his 50’s), had a cane that was likely for show, and had a dark grin on his face. Next to him was a woman who looked younger (about her 30’s) with a matching mahogany dress and a white fur shawl that went around her shoulders and down her left arm. On her left hand was a big shiny diamond. The woman laughed.
“Darling, you think they’re here to pick up dear Moki?”
“Don’t call him that!” You yelled, Seto put a hand on your shoulder to stop you.
“Where is he?” He asked.
The man spoke. “Follow us, and you shall see.”
“And if we want to stay up here?” You asked.
“Then I guess Moki will cease to be~” The woman giggled, causing your eyebrow to twitch.
“We’ll follow you.” Seto glared at the couple.
“Excellent!” The man exclaimed, clapping his hands twice.
The guards formed a group around you and Kaiba, forcing you two closer to the couple. The man stuck his hand out to shake with Kaiba's. "Reginald O'Malley, nice to finally meet you, Seto Kaiba."
"Can't say the same." Kaiba reluctantly shook his hand, causing Reginald to laugh.
The woman stuck her hand out to you, and you swore her ring almost blinded you. You hesitantly shook it.
"I'm Sasha O'Malley." The glammed out woman grinned.
"(Y/n) (L/n)." You responded, not wanting to touch her any more than you already had to.
Reginald led you and Kaiba inside. The building didn't look like a company building at all. The walls were a golden yellow, with redwood flooring. The windows gave you a nice view over the city. Wasn't this supposed to be the corporate building of this company? Where were the workers? And come to think of it, where was the pilot of your ride here?
Reginald led you over to the sizable fireplace. "Now friends, I'm sure you're wondering why I've gathered you all here."
"Not really." Seto narrowed his eyes at him. "Just get to it, Reginald. I don't have all day."
The man chuckled before pulling a picture frame to the left, and the fireplace began to turn. It revealed stairs leading down. Was that where he was keeping Mokuba? Was that where his workers were?
"Come my friends, for a duel." Reginald grinned and led them down the stairs.
You clenched your jaw in irritation, but took a deep breath and cooperated, following the couple down the stairs. Seto was behind you. At the bottom of the stairs, there was a gigantic arena fitted with four seats. So this was going to be a double team duel.
"Big brother! Big sister!" Mokuba yelled from his cage, dangling in the air.
"Mokuba!" You and Kaiba yelled in unison.
"Beat us in a duel, and we give the boy back. But if we win, we take Kaiba Corp. Deal?" Reginald grinned, holding his hand out.
Seto growled before taking his hand into a bone crushing grip. "Deal."
• ───────────────── •
The duel was seemingly nearing an end. Sasha was the lowest count with 500 life points left, though that was to be expected. You only had monsters in your deck. Reginald was a little harder to beat, and was at 2300 life points. You and Seto were doing good, Seto with 3700 life points and you with 3000.
It was your turn, so you draw. Mirror force.
"I play this card face down, and my Luster Dragon attacks Sasha head on!"
Sasha didn't have any monsters on the field, with Kaiba destroying the last one last turn with his Battle Ox. Luster Dragon has 1900 attack points, so Sasha's points drop to zero. She whines to her husband from across the arena.
"Darling, I lost! Please win for me, I want that company!"
"Of course dear." Reginald nods and draws a card. "I summon Blackeyes, the Plunder Patrol Seaguide in attack mode! Now, I sacrifice him to summon Wattaildragon in attack mode!"
You knew that card. Wattaildragon had 2500 attack points. So while it couldn't hurt Seto, it could still hurt you. And Reginald knew that. "Wattaildragon! Attack (Y/n)'s Luster Dragon!"
The dragon let out a roar before preparing to attack. You acted surprised for a moment before you smirked, catching Reginald off guard. "You forgot about my face down card. You activated my trap - mirror force!"
The card lifted face up to show mirror force, which made the Wattaildragon's attack bounce off and hit it, destroying it completely. Reginald had no more monsters on the field.
"Darling that is not what I wanted you to do!" Sasha yelled but Reginald ignored her.
"Kaiba!" You called.
"Right. Blue eyes! Attack Reginald head on, and finish this duel once and forever!" Kaiba yelled.
The Blue Eyes let out a roar before firing a beam straight at Reginald. His life points had dropped to zero. You and Seto shared an accomplished look and a thumbs up. Then Seto's phone rang.
"Well it's as I expected. Reginald here isn't a rich man. In fact, he's been committing thirty years worth of financial fraud." Seto gave the glammed out couple a dark grin. "You're both going away for a long time."
• ───────────────── •
It turns out that the pilot doubled as an infiltrator. Seto had planned to duel the couple as a distraction either way. He had managed to get all of Reginald's statements and aliases and fraudulent checks. Police surrounded the building, and both Reginald and Sasha were taken away in cuffs, with an added charge of kidnapping. Their guards, along with Bishop, got taken away too.
Mokuba ran up to Seto and (Y/n), hugging them both. "I knew you guys would come for me! That was an awesome duel!"
"Thanks, Moki." You smiled, ruffling his hair causing him to laugh. "We're just glad you're alright."
Seto nodded in agreement. Mokuba grinned up at them. "Well...for being kidnapped and all, you know how you guys can make it up to me?"
"Therapy?" Seto and you spoke together.
"No silly, ice cream and duel monsters!" Mokuba threw his hands up excitedly.
You and Seto looked at each other before laughing. "Sure Mokuba, sure."

"Dear Henry,
It seems like a lifetime since we worked on cartoons together. 30 years really slip away, doesn't it? If you're back in town, come visit the old workshop. There's something I need to show you.
Your best pal, Joey Drew"
Let's go back... To the BEGINNING.
-----
Backgrounds will still be the end of me lol. I managed to finish this in time, YAY. (It's still February 10th where I live) I didn't have many ideas for what to do for the birthday so I decided to redrawn Ink Bendy's jumpscare from the alpha version of chapter 1. A classic scene, I would say.
To say it was simple times back then would be an understatement. Those were very, very, VERY simple times when chapter 1 launched. The workshop was smaller, the Ink Machine was tiny, Boris didn't look like Boris and the Lord of the Dark Puddles... was just a bird poop with a smile. But look where we are now! The game was completed, we had a sequel a while ago, some spin-offs over the years, several books, and we just had the announcement that the little devil is going to the big screen!
Bendy has come a long way since then, despite what I would call a turbulent journey at the same time. But despite these turbulent times, I would still say that it has been great to follow Bendy since then. It's a franchise that left a lasting impression on me, and with what we know about what's to come, it's safe to say that I'll still be here following the dancing demon for a good time.
Happy birthday Bendy! Very excited for your future. After all, 7 years and we still have a lot to see yet.
(Oh and, even though I don't have anything specific for that yet, happy anniversary Boris and the Dark Survival! You're a nice game and I still hope you get updated again one day lol)
