there are so many little quirks about Joe that i loved and i really really loved how vulnerable the writers made him esp with Georgia. before Georgia returns to Wellsbury, he's this shy kid that loves animals more than people and gives a girl half a sandwich and a pair of sunglasses. these things so insignificant but they're significant to Georgia.

also, he didn't even need to tell Georgia how he felt, we all saw it and i think it's credit to both Raymond Ablack and the writers in GnG.

thanks for the Q anon, I’d like to think of myself as a big Joergia stan, waving my flag proudly! but to answer your Q, I think the thing that I love the most about this ship is Joe being this sense of normality for Georgia. Georgia has had to contend with starting over so many times (it’s certainly not new to her) but her brief and life altering encounter with Joe encompasses everything she wants to be, and everything she wants her kids to be — normal. and I love that. I love that Joe has no idea of the effect his kindness had on Georgia that day. that kind of kindness had Georgia thinking about Joe 15 odd years later and was determined to find her way back to to the place that wasn’t her home by birth, but the home of her heart. so so beautiful.

Two years and a bit later and I have renewed my subscription as a Joergia stan. Joe and Georgia Miller make so much sense, and I AM getting my endgame.
