Junior Achievement’s JA JobSpark initiative helps 8th graders explore future careers with hundreds of Indy employers at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Two-day event brings thousands of students to the Fairgrounds for a first-hand look at jobs in technology, manufacturing, healthcare, public service, financial services and more

JA JobSpark: Sparking Early Interest in Indy's High-Tech Careers

In a few weeks, classes will be underway on college and university campuses across Indiana…and one trend is certain to continue:  Each incoming group of freshmen are a little more tech-savvy than the last, using their devices for studying, socializing and streamlining their daily routines.

Summer’s here, and most middle-schoolers are taking a break from thinking about school.  But your Indy Chamber team is tackling a homework assignment on behalf of local 8th graders before they head back to the classroom this fall – helping organize the annual Junior Achievement JobSpark program.
