Organique No.10, Joanna Pongowska

Organique series created in 2017 are a continuation of my interest in dynamic creations of nature, as in the case of Botanicum series. This time more in details and abstract form. Color code of those paintings is saturated, vibrant and energetic, and it is interpreting dynamic powers of nature, that are shaping all forms of life. Color and overlapping individual, spontaneous structures are giving the possibility to look deeper into the organic dynamic structures. ➡️ Inspiration for Japanese Girl came directly from my trip to Kyoto in Japan. ➡️ In general NATURE and its cycled transitions are my inspiration. I observe nature in different regions of our planet, keeping special places that connected to my soul in my paintings. It is very rare that I include people into my paintings, because I rather paint nature, here, the girl was such an integral part of the whole scene, that I decided to paint her together with the greenery. ➡️ Painting presented at my solo exhibition titled BOTANICUM in Spring 2017 ➡️ It is a diptych: 100 x 70 cm + 100 x 70 cm --> 100 x 140 (70 +70) cm.
