@undercoverpena is one of the best things that’s ever happened to me. A friend I never knew I needed, another limb to keep my stable, someone to laugh with, and cry with, and talk utter nonsense with. She’s been with me through thick and thin, and I love her endlessly for it 🧡 she is my rock, and I am hers, and I am so incredibly grateful that I’ve been able to love her and hug her in person.

First Impression: I do naurt remembar....shrug emoji...I met her over 10 years ago....

Now Impression: GAY GAY GAY GAY GAY HOMOSEXUAL GAY. Butchest a girl can be without twitter cancelling her.

Favourite thing about her: she's ANGRY!!!!!!! I love an angry woman! The world is against her and she's against IT.

Favourite interaction: her and Ellen during their deaths (MORBID) just like. That's her mommy 😭

A character I wish she interacted with more: we were ROBBED of a Jo Bela episode. I think if it was one of the seasons where they tried to care about women then they'd have met. Someone who wants to leave her family and someone who had to destroy hers, the clash of aesthetics, Jo telling her "you shoot like a girl" and Bela telling her "don't tell me - your daddy taught you everything you know. guess he didn't know all that much then." [Btw if the jobela concept intrigues you, read my jobela heist fic lol]

I also think. This is entirely self indulgent I have no justification. She should have met Hannah and taught her how to be human and be taken very seriously and find her abundantly charming. And they should kiss. The dean mirror and the cas mirror can have some sapphic destiel mirroring together. As a treat.

I think of Jo EVERY time. Because I do love her my strange girl my lonely girl my angry girl my brave... it's a song about a mother trying to meet her kid where she is and support her even when she's worried about her getting hurt (you're changing all the time, and it starts to blur the line, that's supposed to keep you safe!) which naturally reminds me of the Jo and Ellen relationship

An unpopular opinion: I think she'd have a MUCH harder time intergrating into a friend group or a big family than fics tend to consider. The people she hangs out with on a regular basis: 1. Her mom 2. Ash 3. Random drifters at the bar. That's it that's the list. We know she was alienated in highschool, so she hasn't learned how to exist in a group setting long term.

How is she likely to feel if she was swept into a big party with all of the Winchester's friends in a place she isn't in control of? Territorial, jealous, ignored, out of place. She sees her mom getting along with people just fine, and Dean (her mirror!! Her idol and her equal!) being lavished with positive attention from all sides. And Ash is zonked out with the stoner club* and it reconfirms to her that she's just a loser. Like. I think she'd get to a place of enjoying a big group! But it would take work. She's also Not Like Other Girls so that'd take some working on too lol.

*Ash, Pamela, Meg and Castiel (if they can get him away from Dean long enough)

I think it's interesting how Eric ended up as Cuddy in spite of his justified fear that he would turn out to be House 2.0, especially through the House and Cuddy as mirror images lens.

Yes! I have been thinking about this! Not just the job, Foreman's personality also resembles Cuddy which fits nicely into the mirror image factor of it all. Foreman's choice not to be involved in drama, the way he treats his employees and the way he treats House are so wonderfully similar to Cuddy. I guess, in her own way, Cuddy was also afraid of turning into House. Remember that episode where Cuddy's mom is trying to sue the hospital for mistreating her but it's later revealed that she was actually trying to push House and Cuddy together? She says something along the lines of 'who else will tolerate either of you?' That just goes to show how similar they really are. But their worldviews, mannerisms and most importantly their choices are what set them apart. Which is why I believe they're complements of each other.

Foreman shares many of House's beliefs that are unique to him yet his choices, his ambition bring him so much closer to Cuddy. Things are not puzzles to him, they are cases. The puzzle is House and, in extention, himself.

Remember that scene when Foreman is fired by the other hospital for not following procedure and Cuddy is rehiring him? She says that Foreman is too much like House for anyone else to employ him, the only one who will even consider it is the one who employed the original House. That is strikingly close to his views of himself. In the last season there's a scene where the investors say there's been a downgrade in the hospital due to the change in administration, Foreman counters that it's because House's department was closed for a year. But you can see in his face for a second where he considers that it might be true that he is at fault. There's more similarity in his responses in these scenes than is casually visible. I don't have it all worked out yet but I know there's something deeper.

Finally, my two favorite Foreman is replacing Cuddy moments-

When he gets some sport event tickets for House and himself. He says House doesn't have to be alone after Wilson's gone, he will still have people who care about him, he'll have friends. The entire series we see the two people who care most about House are Wilson and Cuddy. House says Foreman is trying to replace Wilson but that's not it. Foreman cannot replace Wilson even if he wanted, he just can't. Cuddy is the one he's replacing.

The one where he's asking Chase not to quit. Chase asks if he's there as the boss or as a friend. They talk and Chase says he's there as House, wanting to force him into a decision. Foreman says "we've both seen it work". Which is why Cuddy kept House around. As insufferable as he is, House is the best, he gets results. She kept him in line, made exceptions for him, etc. etc. Foreman does exactly that for Chase in this episode. This also fits into my theory that Chase is more like House than Foreman.

In conclusion, Foreman has more in common with Cuddy than House. At the very end, he becomes Cuddy, Chase becomes House and maybe (I don't have enough arguments to support this) Taub replaces Wilson.

This turned out a little too long, I hope it's coherent.

AHHHHH EVERYTHING INSPIRES ME because I am Like That™️ (I am not kidding, everything is unbelievably and unbearably interesting to me), but I obviously have to put my college here first because it is my country and the simple act of existing there brings me JOY because people Like Me are there (there are... 5 of them that I know of, but THEY EXIST :") Sooo, the way Tumblr User Jo Bobdylansgf is when she is inspired isn't that different from online Jo because it is my permanent state of being, but I am super loud and my cheeks get all red and I talk with my hands a lot and I can’t keep still and I jump and dance and do silly things when I walk because I don't know how to walk (just skip and dance honestly) and the only thing that's faster than the way I talk is... well nothing. I forget how to breathe (quite literally) and whoever is on the other end of the conversation has to remind me to breathe (probably because my mother tells this to everyone in my circle she meets because she worries I might die of enthusiasm which would be cool, but also highly unnecessary at the ripe age of 20)

Most definitely MUSIC because... if you think of everything essential to the human experience as a path then music is the crossroads of every single one of those paths. It's the intersection of language and what language cannot reach. It's a reconciliation of opposing concepts, it is a direct laugh at any attempt of categorization. And the reason why *I* love it more than anything else in the world is quite simple. It makes me love me. Because I have always felt like I was the human equivalent of crossroads and music has always been there to remind me how glorious that is. Music is a celebration of life and I am nothing but a celebration of everything I love. Music is my language and my home country and my way of perceiving the world. Nothing makes sense, but music makes sense precisely because it's aware of the nonsensical nature of everything. Music accepts everything. Music refuses to see anything as strange. Music is MUSIC idk man I love music. It is unfiltered. It is in all of us.
