procrastinating this genetic test because what if i simply don’t want to know
#jk i need to know because my risk of cancer would go up possibly 40%+#and will have to take preventative measures most likely#which for some reason is a lot scarier than all my other chronic illnesses that effect me more day to day#i already had the hysterectomy but i might need a [redacted] too#which was very much not the plan#and being on gov insurance for all of this is also making it harder#because then what happens when i have this crazy pre existed condition#and the test alone was $150 even though i have direct family members with this gene mutation 🙃#like i’m under 30 i shouldn’t have to worry about this and yet#personal#medical stuff tw
