hey gyns tbh i came back on tumblr just for the rads and the last time i was on here before my awakening was 2014... so idk how to do certain things. i want to create a "sideblog" .. how do i do that? can someone help me.. its probably not super complicated but idgi. like are they both signed in at the same time? so many people i come across on here are or have a sideblog. and i just want one to have messages work if mine get fucked up (which has happened 2x already).. anyways thanks in advance!!

I feel like I need to explain this.

A lot of ppl have been saying that BTS fans have been leaving them for other groups and I just need to refute that.

I still love BTS and their music and everything about them but ever since they started blowing up in the US, the fandom has become way more toxic. There’s a whole lot of “Oh you’re not a real fan bc you weren’t here from the start” and that kind of stuff. like really guys? i’m so disappointed in the fandom. like ok you want to use that logic, then you can’t be a fan of disney movies unless you saw Snow White in ‘37. like wtf?????? 

The other thing that’s been going around is armys showing up to other groups content and going “Oh so they are like bts except....” or simply adding bts content in a place for another groups content. or even flat out accusing other groups for plagiarizing bts (stray kids), because bts apparently invented all things good in the world and no one else did anything. effing chill guys. yes, bts has done many things that have never been done before but that doesn’t mean they are the only group to have ever done that, that they are the only group currently g\doing that.

then there’s other fandoms who react so violently and start fanwars. like pls, chill. Reminder that bts’ success in the US does not make them inherently superior. Reminder that bts’ success in the US does not mean that your faves aren’t good. bts’ success has increased bighit’s financial success bc they just entered and are appealing to one of the biggest consumer bases in the world. but bts’ success is not an excuse for anyone to shit on, belittle, demean or put down any other group.

my biggest pet peeve people attributing other groups success or failure to bts’ success, either in favour of or against bts. 

“got7 is using bts’ success”-uh-no gotbangtan have been friends long before bts made it big. got7 may not be as big as bts but they are hella big in asia (thailand, china ect...) both may be kpop groups but in terms of style they are very different. bts has way stronger rappers, while got7 has better vocals, and i know armys are gonna come at me saying that no bts is better just because they are bts. no. listen to jjp singing, listen to youngjae sing. Let me just say that youngjae’s voice is beautiful, and he’s so stable his power vocals are just hella good. youngjae’s voice is one of the best voices i have ever heard and the best part is that he’s already found a musical style that fits him best. i’m not saying bts is bad at singing, im saying got7 is better at it (fraking listen to got7 thank you and sign). remember, bts started out as a hiphop group, they are obviously going to have hella rappers and maybe not as strong vocals. got7 are more pop and dance pop (sorta r&b).

stray kids. the amount of hate the skiz fandom has gotten since ‘i am NOT’ began, is appalling. “they are copying bts NO” “they are plagiarizing bts’ concept” i’m sorry, i didn’t know you could own a concept. the concepts are similar but that’s only natural. the reason is the fact that all the stray kids members are gen z babies. ‘i am NOT’ is pretty much the gen z mentality in music form. in terms of music, bts NO was almost purely hiphop. stray kids, from the beginning since hellevator, have been developing their own sound and it isn’t like bts at all. stray kids have a lot of focus on their rapping and they are all good rappers, albeit not at rm, suga or jhope’s level yet but they are still kids (literally, their oldest member is only a month older than jungkook and y’all still call jk a baby soooo), but stray kids is not a hiphop group. their music has so far had this really odd (but good) mix of rap+rock and a little bit of pop. their music is very rock heavy (they literally have a song called rock).

So STOP SHITTING ON OTHER FANDOMS FOR NOT BEING YOUR FANDOM.

well hello tex!! your welcome!! your art is a sight for sore eyes! i love it sm! about f/os though, itd be my darksiders babes! (mostly the male horseman, sorry fury, still love u tho 😘😘) First we have good ole “Bag of dirt old bones” aka Death, the pale rider!

THIS OLD BASTARD (emphasis on old and bastard), sarcastic, witty and just an asshole, BUT hes funny as shit so i let it slide, besides, even if he doesnt want to admit it hes THE SWEETEST, and though hes called The Grim Reaper by many, he loves living things a lot (im the prime example) (his siblings being a second example, but also very questionable because its borderline tough love borderline just being an ass) hes also a very saddened and melancholic man, if you look closer to his gaze you can see a hint of it, hes very tired and just wants softness, wich im happy to provide Death has a nice voice, very gravelly and comforting, i love playing with his hair and resting on his chest (hes fucking huge, i dont have his exact height atm but its probably more than 6′1) I can also relate to him being the eldest of his siblings and having to take care of them, we bonding over older sibling trauma,bitch Mr “I use humor to cope” Strife 

Strife has everything i like in a character: Cool Helmet? check Hot voice? check Depressing backstory? check Charisma, witt and sass? CHECK  Cool guns with cool names? C H E C K Spiky hair? C H E C K  Hes also great at comfort and hes probably the most human of his siblings, hes got that cool milennial, cool gen z vibe to him and i can relate to him a lot.  And last, yet in no way, shape or form, least, War 

Him angry, him big, him kick ass thats all  (no jk) Hes the youngest of the four horseman,yet hes in no way feeble or weak, he fucks shit up, hes ripped, fucking enourmous (almost the same height as death) and he has a cool ass steed and weapons. Him being the youngest also means he comes to be for advise whenever he feels Death’s advice is off, since he knows i have experience with siblings (wich fun fact, i have three siblings, wich makes us four kids, he finds this coincidence hilarious) He says (albeit under his breath) that im like death, with less ass behaviour, that i have strifes charisma, and furys passion. I like to ask what characteristics of him do i have, and he usually takes a long time to think about it, but he says is that he and i share being stubborn, and fighting to the bitter end. (whats that for an answer huh?) he is way bigger than me, and he likes to scoop me up like a bag of potatos, i weight nothing and he likes to annoy me, we give off older sibling/younger sibling energy but not in a weird way. he likes it when i caress his scalp or kiss his face markings, it relaxes him. and of course.. someone; says shit about me* war, looming behind said someone with murder in his eyes; you wanna fucking g o . human? the guy that talked shit about me: ......... **runs for dear life** [....] thank you for the ask nikki!, (only moots okay to rb, art by @/notesz-b on tumblr)

I completely agree, I've personally gotten noticed by Jc and a few of the guys now that they're on twitch but nothing crazy like Jc will ask a question and he'll read my reply or he'll read a question I've asked like when i asked why he no longer played rust. I dont get giddy or excited like I've noticed some younger fans do where they'll put (Colby liked 12x) etc. I watch their lives and i am part of the channel membership because i do support their content but i never comment for the merch giveaways im just not into it. I will say though that i have seen one or two of Kats streams and just the way she acts i agree that it does feel like its geared towards a younger audience. The same way that she will say to watch her vid and get her to 1M or no new music, she'll say comment so and so in the chat or i wont tell you this or i wont play this game and people do it while i sit there and think, "Nah im clicking off", but to her younger audience it might actually feel like this or that happened because of them where as those of us who are older will feel like the creator should do more promotion to hit a milestone instead of making people do it for them if it makes sense. You want viewership or likes then make a great product and promote it everywhere,hussle for it dont just tell people they better like it or else you make them feel like they're not true fans. That's literally a tactic I've seen used by so many social media creators lately and its because they know the audience is young.

i will say, i don’t have that in my bio, but i do have an insta highlight on when they noticed me 👀👀👀 oh no am i a gen z-er ??? jk lol

but i do think it’s sad how many ppl in the fandom depend on snc noticing them. i know one of the reasons metalife kinda fell apart was bc when snc opened it back up for a bit, and that’s when i joined, a bunch of ppl only got on there to get noticed by them. and then the one time they randomly joined someone zoom call, all hell broke loose and that’s all the timeline became.

i don’t like the tactic kat uses, but i can only imagine how difficult it must be to come out with music that you love but then have to rely on ppl streaming your music frequently for it to get you farther in your career. i mean, i know it’s like that for every music artist, but i think we also gotta realize that she is surrounded by ppl probs telling her constantly to promote (even tho her own management and team don’t really promote that much for her????).

personally, i think somebody on her team doesn’t care enough about her or personally thinks they don’t get paid enough bc... how else can you explain releasing a cover art for a song with COMIC SANS as the font lol
