I'm seeing some hate on cmi JK and I have to speak up and defend my bby boy, I just have to. He has been our OC's comfort and rock through everything for a while. He was suddenly thrust into this world of malicious media, invasive paparazzi and disapproving parents before he even had deep feelings for OC. And yet he has never been anything short of considerate caring and understanding. Yes, he shouldn't have bottled up his feelings and fears this whole time, but he did it all to protect and be strong for OC. I'm also sure he has other reasons for not being comfortable with showing his vulnerability completely.

I can see and assume that he'll be quite cold to OC in the next chapter(s), but I feel like that's because he truly believes that she would be better off without him. It also must have been so painful to let her go and it's probably painful to stand by that decision when he really cares for her (we know I could also use the L word and it would still be true 🤭).

I agree that he does seem like he needs a wake up call to realize that despite all the shit that the media and OC's parents are giving them because of their relationship, there's nothing better than them being together. And if that wake up call comes in the form of him being devastated by OC hooking up with someone else, I'm ready to accept it, of course.

I too, like angst and all, but I can't stand for enthusiastically wanting poor Kook to suffer lmao. Can you tell that I'm whipped for this fictional man??? It's always cmi Jungkook appreciation hours where I am.

oh tbh, i strongly feel like anon was joking about hating jk (or at least i hope so xO !!!), but i agreeeee, i will protect this boy with my life !! despite the fact that he struggles with opening up, he's always just done what he needed to do to make her happy. rushed to her in the middle of the night, stayed when she wanted him to, eased her fears...

there are definitely other reasons why he bottles things up (nara knows them), and once he'll let himself talk about it, he'll see how much easier love can be. but you're right hahaha he won't do any of that before dragging oc to hell and back (not even deliberately!), and ngl i'm so excited for this arc 😭
