yeah it was like rumoured before i think but then key really confirmed it when he was on boa’s show that they were supposed to debut as a hiphop group like their original single was 80% rap 20% vocals but thankfully they scrapped that and did replay instead but like can you IMAGINEEE

#they couldn’t all sing very well i mean if you know jinki’s vocals were shaky at best and let’s not even talk about the other non jonghyuns #so it was meant to be like a hiphop thing but they were BAD at that (keys own words!) that lsm was like no this can’t go on LMAO #jjong really carried them through their debut era like it was all on his shoulders at that point im giggling #obviously they’re all good NOW but they were only kids back then it’s so funny to think about still
