“Morning,” a husky voice murmured from right behind you and an exhale tickled your neck. Your eyes were still closed, not wanting to expose them to the sunlight that was flowing past the white curtains. It was warm in bed under the big duvet, serving as a stark contrast to the freezing cold just outside the window. Nothing could make you leave this bed. Your stomach rumbled. Oh well, nothing but food at least.

Letting out a small hum, you caved and forced your eyes open. However you were unable to keep them from squinting at the bright morning light. “So early,” you muttered, “What time is it?”

The strong arm that’d been holding you close briefly parted from you to reach for a phone that was dangerously placed by the edge of the mattress. Still in the process of transitioning from dream to reality, you tried to make out the number on the screen, but the backlight was not making it easy on you. Instead your glance glided down the man’s arm. Heavily tattooed, muscular, and strong. A soft smile formed upon your lips.
