Facebook invest in Reliance JIO | Big Good News
Mark Zuckerberg in a statement, said:
There’s a lot going on in the world right now, yet I needed to share an update on our work in India. Facebook is collaborating with Jio Platforms — we’re making a financial investment, and more than that, we’re committing to working together on some major projects that will open up commerce opportunities for people across India.
Facebook made a surprising announcement on Tuesday. It is spending $5.7 billion(Rs 43,574 crore) for a 9.99 percent stake in Jio Platforms, the tech auxiliary of India’s Reliance Industries. This is the single largest investment in Facebook’s history — is a monster wagered on India’s online development.
An ongoing report by Cisco said India is ready to have more than 900 million Internet users due to the expanded entrance of reasonable smartphones and less expensive internet plans. India will also have around 2.1 billion internet-connected gadgets by 2023, said the report.
A year ago, Reliance said that it would transform Jio into a New Digital services company by contributing almost $15 billion, possibly attracting investors in the approach of an inevitable posting. Jio Platforms has several services under its umbrella, including Reliance Jio, the versatile system that has surprised India since propelling under four years back, piling on 388 million users,
This is very important at the present time since private companies are the center of each economy and they need our help. India has more than 60 million independent small ventures and millions of individuals depend on them for employment. With communities around the world in lockdown, a significant number of these business visionaries need digital tools they can depend on to discover and speak with clients and develop their business. This is something we can help with — and that is the reason we’re banding together with Jio to help individuals and organizations in India make new opportunities.
The expectation from The Deal
“Facebook announcement — mixing WhatsApp with JioMart”
It appears that Facebook and Jio plan to transform WhatsApp into what WeChat is in China, by incorporating WhatsApp with JioMart, WeChat is a messaging app just like WhatsApp but more than that Wechat facilitates payments in China.
Using WeChat, users in China can shop at a few of the greatest grocery stores to the littlest merchants counting the fleet services. Money can also transfer by just scanning the barcode to the WeChat contacts.
“Making the Whatsapp — Super app”
By incorporating the JioMart, which is a disconnected to-online stage for little shippers, nearby stores like Kirana shops, and small businesses, with WhatsApp, Facebook and Jio may make a stage that will serve in India the sort of job that WeChat does in China.
The deal between Facebook and Jio today confirms that in reality, this is the arrangement. The e-commerce business is going to be boom basting at the nearest time. Here is the thing that Jio said, “Our focus will be India’s 60 million smaller & medium business, 120 million farmers, 30 million small merchants and a huge number of little and medium organizations in the casual segment, in addition to empowering people seeking various digital services.”
Big Good News
After announcing the deal between Jio and Facebook, Mukesh Ambani became Asia’s richest man. This deal between Jio and Facebook will only accelerate India’s push for ‘Digital India’. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and the financial droop, this may come with a two-fold advantage for India — driving the digital transformation and regulating the economy.
India is home to the largest networks on Facebook and WhatsApp and loads of talented entrepreneurs. The country is the ship of huge digital transformation and organizations like Jio has played a vital role in getting hundreds of millions of Indian people and small businesses online.
Why JIO is doing this deal?
With Jio having the desire to take on Amazon in e-commerce, give fiber net, run server farms, and set up new digital services like telehealth and distance learning, the investment from Facebook will greatly support Reliance. This speculation will enable the organization to pay off the obligation and put it further in its system.
With JioMart and WhatsApp, Ambani, in his video message, said that it would be workable for around 30 million neighborhood stores to transact digitally.
Why Facebook is Doing this Deal?
Reason 1.
In this case, Facebook may remain to increase somewhat more from this deal. Mukesh Ambani is a prominent voice in India and many reasons that it imparts close connections to the ruling government. The company has a bigger number of users in India than any other country. Whatsapp is going to launch a payments service, which has attracted 340 million users.
Also, in the past, Facebook had a few issues with the Indian government and over WhatsApp. The government requested that WhatsApp change its encryption to follow back messages, to which WhatsApp didn’t agree. It is accepted this is one reason the ruling government has slowed down WhatsApp’s request to offer a payment service for its Indian users
Reason 2.
Facebook, then again, will increase a huge base of users because of TikTok’s rise, which has amassed in excess of 250 million users in India. Moreover, Facebook is also attempting to build a similar service called Lasso, and having Jio on their side will extraordinarily profit them.
Conclusion
Whatsapp is the only app in the current time, which has Extremely Huge HumanData and Facebook has the largest social media users in Real-time. A combination of both can help to Connect with more n more users in India. This deal would be proved very beneficial to stronger the Indian tech-evolution and economy.

Realme 6 Pro Launch Date, Samsung Galaxy M31 Price Reveal, Jio Phone Plans, and More Tech News This Week
New Post has been published on https://magzoso.com/tech/realme-6-pro-launch-date-samsung-galaxy-m31-price-reveal-jio-phone-plans-and-more-tech-news-this-week/
Realme 6 Pro Launch Date, Samsung Galaxy M31 Price Reveal, Jio Phone Plans, and More Tech News This Week
Realme 6 Pro and Realme 6 launch date reveal and Samsung Galaxy M31 announcement dominated the conversation in a rather busy week in terms of tech news development. Although MWC Barcelona 2020 was officially cancelled, the likes of Realme, Sony, LG, and Huawei unveiled new smartphones this week, including Realme X50 Pro, Huawei Mate Xs, Sony Xperia 1 II, and LG V60 ThinQ. Additionally, Jio announced new plans for Jio Phone subscribers. Read on for more on these and other major tech developments from this week.
Realme 6 Pro, Realme 6 launch date
Realme has announced that it will launch the new Realme 6-series phones on March 5 in India. The two phones will succeed the company’s Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro in India. The company has released multiple teasers about the two upcoming phones that have revealed several key features. According to Realme, the Realme 6 Pro and Realme 6 will feature a quad rear camera setup that will be headlined by a 64-megapixel main camera. Other cameras in the setup will include an ultra-wide shooter, a telephoto camera, and a micro shooter.
Additionally, Realme 6-series phones will come with 90Hz refresh rate screen and a hole-punch design. While the Pro variant will have two selfie shooters, the Realme 6 will house a single shooter on the front. Further, the resolution of the display is said to be full-HD+. This is not all, Realme has also teased support for 30W fast charging.
A recent report indicated that Realme will sell the Realme 6-series phone via both e-retailers and offline stores. This is not a surprise, given company has long started selling phones offline. In terms of the pricing, the Realme 6 Pro is expected to start at Rs. 13,999, whereas the Realme 6 will reportedly retail beginning at Rs. 9,999. We should get confirmed prices on March 5.
In addition to the Realme 6 Pro and Realme 6, the Chinese smartphone maker will also unveil the Realme Band wearable at the launch event. It is teased to include a heart-rate sensor, colour display, IP68 water resistance. Additionally, the Realme Band is confirmed to be offered in three colour options – Yellow, Black and Olive Green. In terms of the fitness tracking capabilities, Realme is bundling nine modes to track different activities, including a Cricket mode. The smart band will also show notifications from your connected smartphone.

Like the Realme phone, it also support 5G networks in one version, not that those are useful in India right now. iQoo 3’s 4G-only 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 36,990, while the 4G-only 8GB + 256GB model carries a price tag of Rs. 39,990. The phone has a 10-megapixel front camera with f/1.9 aperture as well.
Huawei Mate Xs introduced as Huawei’s second foldable phone
Huawei had big plans for MWC Barcelona 2020, however in the wake of its cancellation, the company unveiled the new Mate Xs phone as a part of an online-only event. It is the second foldable phone from the company and keeps the same form factor as its first one. Given the Huawei Mate X was never released outside China, the Mate Xs will become the company’s first foldable to get a global release.
The Best Budget TVs You Can Buy in India Right Now
Huawei Mate Xs will go on sale in March, priced at EUR 2,499 (roughly Rs. 1,93,000). In terms of the specifications, the phone is powered by Kirin 990 SoC, and packs an 8-inch flexible screen. You will also get 4,500mAh battery, four rear cameras, Android 10 without Google apps or Play Store, and a upgraded “falcon wing” hinge.
Redmi K30 Pro teased to launch in March

The company has started teasing the smartphone and has also discontinued the Redmi K30 Pro in its home market. Redmi K30 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and sport a full-screen design, same as its predecessor.
There is no word on the India release right now, and there is a possibility that Redmi K30 Pro may debut as Poco F2 in the country, given the company launched Redmi K30 as Poco X2 in the Indian market. Other specifications of the phone are a mystery at this point, but given Xiaomi propensity for revealing pretty much everything about its phone before their official launch, we won’t have to wait for long.
Sony Xperia 1 II, Xperia Pro, Xperia 10 II announcement
Sony unveiled three new phones this week. While the new Xperia 1 II and Xperia 10 II are targeted to regular consumers, the Xperia Pro is aimed at creative professionals. Xperia 1 II comes with top-of-the-line specifications, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC and 256GB of onboard storage. Sony Xperia 10 II, on the other hand, is a mid-range phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chip.
New Jio Phone plans and other telecom news this week
In telecom news, Reliance Jio launched two new prepaid recharge plans for Jio Phone subscribers this week. Priced at Rs. 69 and Rs. 49, the new plans come with a validity of just 14 days. These Jio Phone plans are aimed at customers who wants shorter validity. Talking about the new Rs. 69 Jio Phone plan, it offers 0.5GB high speed data per day, Jio to Jio unlimited voice calls, 250 minutes of Jio to non-Jio voice calls, 25 SMS messages, and complimentary access to all Jio apps.
Netflix March 2020 Releases: Kiara Advani, Manisha Koirala, Hayao Miyazaki, and More
The Jio Phone Rs. 49 plan, on the other hand, offers just 2GB of total data, Jio to Jio unlimited calls, 250 minutes of Jio to non-Jio calls, 25 SMS messages, and access to all Jio subscription services. These plans are now available via Reliance Jio website, MyJio app, and third-party recharge websites.
Additionally, Jio reduced the validity of its Rs. 1,299 prepaid plan for regular Jio subscribers. The plan used to last for 365 days earlier, but now it will also run for 336 days. The revised Jio Rs. 1,299 prepaid plan offers 24GB of 4G data, unlimited Jio to Jio voice calling, 12,000 Jio to non-Jio voice calling minutes, and 3,600 SMS messages. Furthermore, it also offers complimentary subscription of Jio suite of apps as well.
All these plan revisions and tariff hike has impacted Reliance Jio’s subscriber base. The latest data released by TRAI revealed that the telco onboarded just over 82,000 new subscribers in December last year, massive downfall from the 56,08,668 new subscribers that it had added in November. Jio’s total subscriber base increased from 36,99,33,852 in November to 37,00,16,160 subscribers by the end of December.
Android 11: Top 10 Features Introduced in First Developer Preview
Airtel revealed this week that it is soon going to launch a new premium international roaming pack, priced at Rs. 4,999. Dubbed as Travel Unlimited, the new international roaming plan will be available for both prepaid and postpaid customers. The plan will include 1GB of mobile data per day, unlimited incoming calls, 500 minutes of outgoing calls to India and within the host country, and unlimited incoming SMS for 10 days.
Apple Online Store coming to India this year and other news
Apple CEO Tim Cook revealed during the company’s annual shareholder meeting this week that the iPhone maker is finally going to launch its online store in the country this year. Cook also said that Apple will launch its physical retail stores starting 2021. Apple currently sells its products via partner retailers and distributors.
Netflix was spotted testing yet another change this week in India. The streaming giant seems to be mulling to move the mobile plan and Rs. 499 base plan subscribers to HD quality, from the existing SD quality. Since, the change is still being testing, there is no word it will reach all subscribers. Netflix told Gadgets 360 that the better video quality option has been available since early February in India.
Lastly, WhatsApp seems to be developing dark mode for its desktop app as well as WhatsApp Web. Dark mode for both is currently in development and in its early stages, and the feature isn’t publicly available yet. There is no expected launch timeline either.

Reliance Jio had announced to launch its fiber services on 14 August
New Delhi, : Reliance Jio had announced to launch its fiber services on 14 August. Today i.e. on 5 September 2019, the tariff of Jio Fiber was also released. After dominating cellular services, Reliance has now made a blistering entry into the optical fiber, cable TV and landline sectors. Yes, Reliance will bring all these three services to your home through its Jio Fiber. That is, now you will not need three different services, instead you can enjoy broadband, landline phone and cable TV simultaneously by taking just one service. Your question may be that if you take one service instead of three, will your money also be saved? We will find the answer to this question here.
"Jio Fiber" plans launched, these are tariffs, In One Go connection in 1600 cities - India 24x7 News How much expensive is cable tv If you want to watch cable TV, then you also have to spend at least 100 rupees for free to air channels, in addition to your favorite channels have to pay a separate price. In this way, you have to pay 250 to 500 rupees every month to watch cable TV. This monthly fee is also discounted by 5-10% on the installation of DTH companies' satellite boxes, but even then your bill is not reduced in the same way as earlier you used to see all the channels for 300 rupees. Broadband fees have to be paid Fast internet has become a necessity today. You and all of us have broadband services in our homes so that there is no hindrance in entertainment and work. For this also you have to pay at least Rs 500 per month. In such a low plan, you have to make some compromises with speed. landline phone Landline popularity has steadily decreased as mobile has grown. Despite this, many of us take landline connections to our homes. We all use landline phones for never having network or for long conversations. If we put landline phone at home, then for this also we have to pay a price every month. Every month's expenditure on landline will be at least 100 rupees. How much do you spend total ? For cable TV, broadband connection and landline phone, you have to spend at least 700 to 1000 rupees every month. Apart from this, the worry of filling different bills of everyone also causes your hair loss. You have to compromise with TV channels and broadband speed. Whereas in Reliance's Jio Fiber, you get all these services together in one bill and that too at a very economical rate. In the coming time, other companies will also bring similar plans so that their userbase does not shift towards geo fiber. How much will it cost to live fiber ? Now let's talk about live fiber. How much do you have to spend for this? How will the service be, how fast the internet will run, etc. Reliance has launched Jio Fiber plans in the Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Platinum and Titanium categories. While its basic plan will be available for just Rs 699, the maximum for the monthly plan will be Rs 8499. The basic plan will provide 100 GB free data, free voice calls, TV video calling and conference facilities with a speed of 100 Mbps. The second plan is for Rs 849 and it will get 200 GB data free with 100 Mbps speed and all other features will also be present. 500 GB data at 1299 If you are ready to spend around Rs 1300 every month, then under this plan, Reliance is promising to provide 500 GB data with a data speed of 250 Mbps. Apart from this, in the 2499 plan, 1250 GB data will be provided with the speed of 500 Mbps. With the plan of 3999, 2500 GB data will be given with 1 Gbps speed and 5000 GB data will be given with 1 Gbps data speed in the plan of Rs 8499. One time payment of 2500 For Jio Fiber you have to pay 2500 rupees in the first time. It has a security deposit of Rs 1500, which you can withdraw later. Apart from this, there will be a non refundable installation charge of Rs 1000, which you will not get back. What will be available in welcome offer Jio has also announced a welcome offer. JioSaavn becomes India’s answer to Spotify and Apple Music
India finally has its answer to Spotify after Reliance Jio merged its music service with Saavn, the startup it acquired earlier this year.
The deal itself isn’t new — it was announced back in March — but it has reached its logical conclusion after two apps were merged to create a single entity, JioSaavn, which is valued at $1 billion. For the first time, India has a credible rival to global names like Spotify and Apple Music through the combination of a venture capital-funded business — Saavn — and good old-fashioned telecom, JioMusic from Reliance’s disruptive Jio operator brand.
This merger deal comes days after reports suggested that Spotify is preparing to (finally) enter the Indian market, a move that has been in the planning for over a year as we have reported.
That would set up an interesting battle between global names Spotify and Apple and local players JioSaavn and Gaana, a project from media firm Times Internet which is also backed by China’s Tencent.
It isn’t uncommon to see international firms compete in Asia — Walmart and Amazon are the two major e-commerce players while Chinese firms Alibaba and Tencent have busily snapped up stakes in promising internet companies for the past couple of years — but that competition has finally come to the streaming space.
There have certainly been misses over the years.
Early India-based pioneer Dhingana was scooped by Rdio back in 2014 having initial shut down its service due to financial issues. Ultimately, though, Rdio itself went bankrupt and was sold to Pandora, leaving both Rdio and Dhingana in the startup graveyard.
Saavn, the early competitor too Dhingana, seemed destined to a similar fate, at least from the outside. But it hit the big time in 2015 when it raised $100 million from Tiger Global, the New York hedge fund that made ambitious bets on a number of India’s most promising internet firms. That gave it the fuel to reach this merger deal with JioMusic.
Unlike Dhingana’s fire sale, Saavn’s executive team continues on under the JioSaavn banner.
The coming-together is certainly a far more solid outcome than the Rdio deal. JioSaavn has some 45 million songs — including a slate of originals started by Saav — and access to the Jio network, which claims over 250 million subscribers.
JioSaavn is available across iOS, Android, web and Reliance Jio’s own app store
The JioMusic service will be freemium but Jio subscribers will get a 90-day trial of the ad-free ‘Pro’ service. The company maintains five offices — including outposts in Mountain View and New York — with over 200 employees while Reliance has committed to pumping $100 million into the business for “growth and expansion of the platform.”
While it is linked to Reliance and Jio, JioMusic is a private business that counts Reliance as a stakeholder. You’d imagine that remaining private is a major carrot that has kept Saavn founders — Rishi Malhotra, Paramdeep Singh and Vinodh Bhat — part of the business post-merger.
The window certainly seems open for streaming IPOs — Spotify went public this past April through an unconventional listing that valued its business around $30 billion while China’s Tencent Music is in the process of a listing that could raise $1.2 billion and value it around that $30 billion mark, too. JioSaavn might be the next streamer to test the public markets.

Vodafone offers unlimited calling for 28 days with new Rs 99 prepaid recharge
With the competition heating up in the telecom sector, Vodafone has reportedly launched a new Rs 99 prepaid plan for its users that need a voice-heavy pack. As per TelecomTalk, the telco is offering unlimited calling benefits with the recharge with a validity of 28 days, but the new prepaid plan is said to be available only for its users in the company’s 4G circles. Unlike other telcos, Vodafone is not bundling any data or text services with the plan and it’s not known whether a user will get to avail truly unrestricted calling like Reliance Jio or if one will be capped at 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week. As this plan’s availability is said to be limited, users are advised to check before recharging. The new plan by Vodafone goes up against Reliance Jio’s Rs 98 prepaid pack, which is clearly ahead of the curve with unlimited calls, 2GB 4G data and 300 SMS for 28 days. Additionally, one gets free access to the company’s suite of apps like JioTV, JioCinema and more. The telco also has a Rs 99 plan under which users can avail 500MB of data per day along with unlimited voice calls and 300 SMS for a period of 28 days. However, this plan can be availed only by JioPhone users. Airtel also recently updated its Rs 99 prepaid plan to offer 2GB data for 28 days. Along with more data, the telco is also offering unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. Data-heavy users might want to check out BSNL’s Rs 75 prepaid recharge that offers unlimited voice calls, 10GB data and 500 SMS for 15 days. An earlier report stated that the plan’s validity can be extended up to 180 days by again recharging with Special Tariff Vouchers (STVs) priced between Rs 98 to Rs 199. You can read more about it here. from Latest Technology News https://ift.tt/2P5fPV2 from Blogger https://ift.tt/2nzht4x https://ift.tt/2AglYsR

New Post has been published on https://magzoso.com/tech/jio-price-hike-realme-5s-price-reveal-realme-x2-pro-launch-vivo-u20-release-and-more-tech-news-this-week/
Jio Price Hike, Realme 5s Price Reveal, Realme X2 Pro Launch, Vivo U20 Release, and More Tech News This Week
Realme X2 Pro and Realme 5s India launch dominated this week in tech news. Vivo also revealed the pricing and availability details of the Vivo U20 phone. Xiaomi released a new variant of the Redmi Note 8 Pro in China. Additionally, Airtel, Vodafone Idea, and Reliance Jio revealed that they will be increasing the tariffs in the coming month as the telecom companies struggle financially. Read on for more details on these news items as well as other major technology news stories of the week.
Realme X2 Pro, Realme 5s India launch
After weeks of teasers, Realme launched its flagship Realme X2 Pro smartphone in the country this week. It is the first high-end smartphone from the company and carries a starting price tag of Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, whereas its 12GB + 256GB model will retail at Rs. 33,999. At this pricing, the phone will be going head to head with the likes of Redmi K20 Pro, OnePlus 7, and host of other phones.
Realme X2 Pro was first launched in China last month and comes with features like a 6.5-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED 90Hz display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ octa-core processor. Additionally, Realme has included an in-display fingerprint sensor, 4,000mAh battery with support for 50W fast charging, vapour cooling, and up to 256GB of onboard storage.
In terms of the imaging capabilities, Realme X2 Pro includes a quad camera setup on the back that houses a 64-megapixel primary shooter, a 13-megapixel telephoto camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter on the front as well, as a part of a waterdrop-style notch.
Realme 5s First Impressions
Realme 5s launch was kind of a surprise that the company itself spoiled a week before the launch of the phone. It is a slightly upgraded version of the Realme 5 that arrived in the country earlier this year. While Realme 5s improves on the camera front, rest of the specifications of the phone are exactly the same as Realme 5. Basically, Realme has upgraded the primary shooter to 48-megapixel from the 12-megapixel shooter in the Realme 5.
According to Realme, the Realme 5s will retail starting at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB model, whereas the 4GB + 128GB version carries a price tag of Rs. 10,999. The Realme 5s first sale is scheduled for next week. It will be offered in Crystal Blue, Crystal Purple, and Crystal Red colours via Flipkart and Realme.com. The company also plans to offer its via offline stores on the later date.
Realme 5s features a 6.5-inch HD+ screen, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, and a 5,000mAh battery. The phone also packs a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portraits. Realme 5s also packs a 13-megapixel selfie camera and a rear fingerprint sensor.
Vivo U20 makes its India debut
Chinese smartphone maker Vivo on Friday launched its new Vivo U20 smartphone in the country. It is a rebranded version of the Vivo U3 that was released in China last month and will succeed the company’s Vivo U10. Vivo U20 is an entry level smartphone and carries a price tag of Rs. 10,990 for the base 4GB + 64GB variant, whereas the phone’s 6GB + 64GB variant has been priced at Rs. 11,990. The company will start selling the phone beginning next week via Amazon and Vivo e-store.
Vivo U20 First Impressions
Vivo U20 features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ display and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC. It also comes with a 5,000mAh battery that support 18W fast charging. Additionally, Vivo has included a triple rear camera setup on the phone that includes a 16-megapixel main shooter, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. There is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies as well.
On the software front, Vivo U20 runs on Android 9 Pie-based FunTouch OS 9 and includes Widevine L1 certification that will allow the consumers play high-resolution video content on streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. The usual connectivity options and sensors are also present in the phone, including a rear fingerprint sensor.
After three years of cheap mobile plans, the telecom operators in India are getting ready to announce the first price hike and it seems like a major one. Following record losses and Supreme Court’s AGR ruling, Vodafone Idea and Airtel have decided that it is enough and the rock-bottom prices are unsustainable for business. While Vodafone Idea was the first to announce that it will raise prices beginning December 1, it was soon joined by Airtel and Reliance Jio announcing a similar timeline for tariff hike.
None of the telecom operators have revealed the new tariffs at this point, however, with December just a week away, we won’t have to wait for long. Vodafone Idea had earlier posted a loss of Rs. 50,921 crores — the highest-ever quarterly loss by any corporate in India. Similarly, Bharti Airtel reported loss to the tune of Rs. 23,045 crores.
Jio vs Airtel vs Vodafone: Best Prepaid Recharge Plans Under Rs. 500
It will be interesting to see how big a price hike Reliance Jio announces, given the telecom operator has been responsible to bring the era of ultra-cheap mobile and data plans. With hundreds of million subscribers under its umbrella, Jio may surprise everyone with a significant increase, and with similarly high prices on other telecom operators, Jio’s subscribers won’t have anywhere to go.
Samsung W20 5G foldable phone launched
In other smartphone news, Samsung launched a slightly upgraded version of its Galaxy Fold as Samsung W20 5G in the Chinese market. The company already sells the 4G variant of the Galaxy Fold in the country.
