QUESTION TIME! of all the pokemon you own in games, who would you consider to be your one partner pokemon?

i saw this ask while out of the house and i just got home and am finally able to answer it. i bring this up because i want you to know i saw it specifically while in the passenger seat next to my mom and i said out loud to her "oh god someone on tumblr asked me what my one true partner pokemon would be out of all the pokemon i own in the games HOW DO I PICK JUST ONE" and she laughed LMAO

anyway i've had ample time to think about it and i'm still a little bit undecided, i own a LOT of pokemon i'm attached to, BUT... i think it has to go to neverhappy. it's been a hot minute since i've posted about her so idk how many people know about her. she's a roserade so she can't be moved into SV and therefore i haven't brought her up that much lately, but

you can read more about her in this ancient post i wrote (i would rewrite this now but oh well), it's one of my oldest original posts on this blog. but tldr; she's a rescue from a secondhand platinum cartridge i bought who was named this in the PC as a budew, obviously a joke about how they were never going to use her so she would never experience happiness-based evolution, and i took her and got every single possible ribbon on her from gen 4 and up and she's one of my most loved pokemon ever. i care very deeply about her, she represents a lot for me in real life too, and even though roserade isn't even one of my favorite pokemon on its own, neverhappy specifically is definitely one of my most cherished pokemon who i want to have with me for a very long time

so this is technically me BUT HEAR ME OUT. a few months ago i dreamt that i was on rupaul's drag race. the only things i remember are a VERY brief snippet of me doing a team challenge, and one of my confessionals, which listed my drag name as Aubrey Firedrill. and after i had that dream i slowly came to realize that becoming a drag queen was my true calling!!

ANYWAYS!! why should you include aubrey firedrill despite being an extension of myself? well, to be a drag queen requires a drag persona, and a persona is technically its own character, right? and since my drag persona originated from a dream, that makes aubrey firedrill a dream character!! i think.

I know it's been a bit of a ship since I was in the fandom (or at least when s7 was airing... it wasn't as big as pearlet, trixya, or even vatya for that matter), but I started shipping it mainly due to projection.

Max is blorbo (like huge hyperfixation level blorb) and Violet is pretty, therefore it makes sense. :p

I also like how confident Violet is contrasted to how reserved Max generally is, and it seems that they can bring out the goofier sides of each other.

But also, there's some textual merit to this:

They're paired together for the makeover episode, another acting challenge, and in the parody song episode (which might be your next watch if I'm judging correctly).

They have had cute Twitter interactions and also Periscope things, which seems to be lost media at that point. I don't want to go through my Twitter bookmarks to find certain videos because it would take a *long* time.

They went on an Australia tour together in 2015.

first of all I'm so happy people seem to like matchmaker au because I love thinking about it!

this au was born because @petitmonde and I were talking about Marcia and Jasmine being roommates, and that Jasmine's the person who teaches Marcia how to recognize flirting because she was just living her life thinking people were nice to her for no reason. Bosco is at their apartment very often since she works nearby, Jasmine's had a crush on her forever but never acted on it because tbh she thinks Bosco isn't the dating type (and thinks she sees her as a little sister).

I can tell you that part 2 is in the makings and in this: Marcia confidently tells another person about her realization and the reception isn't what she expected. Jasmine makes a decision that's high risk but high reward. Bosco is still blissfully unaware of the speculation about her and Daya is pretty much on the front row of a comedy show.

i somehow missed this ask omg sorry. i haven’t played pokemon rumble in a long time and i never sank much time into any of them past the original, but me and my sister poured a TON of time into the original wii release when we were kids. usually when i think of rumble these days i think about rumble weekend and the associated patch that adds johto and hoenn mons to the game for wider shiny hunting targets… it’s really too bad that none of the other rumble games have shiny hunting, only the original 😭 seriously makes it infinitely replayable

Hi darling! My general thoughts on all ships are pretty much "live and let live," aka "everyone should write and read what they want." 💕

My personal feelings are that it's hard for me to get into any ship when I don't know the queens that well, haven't seen them interact much outside the show or beyond their season, etc. There's definitely a reason why the main queens I write are still from Season 6. 🙈
