hunger . give my muse something to eat / drink .
Green eyes blinked twice focusing on the loaf of sliced bread that had appeared in front of her. Slowly they moved past the bread to the hands, and even higher to the boy standing there with a bright smile.
It did smell delicious but still. Pointing at the bread then to herself she waited until he nodded to take a slice biting right into it. It was still warm!
'This is delicious did you make it?'
The question was scribbled alongside the drawings she had been doodling in her notebook.
'May i take another slice?'

jinki; escapism
Shiloh wasn’t the type to explore much, being rather content with spending time in his apartment and play around with clay on his now exasperatingly endless quest to create a human being of his own. With a newfound obsession in the person of his neighbour, the angel spent hours on end trying to recreate that man’s imagine in miniature, but before he could worry about bringing the figurine to life, he found himself failing miserably at precisely capturing that man’s particularities and portray him. As the pieces of broken clay built up in his atelier, Shiloh found himself suffocated, unable to spend any more minute in his otherwise beloved home. He needed to escape, to get some fresh air, a change of setting and atmosphere.
Mindlessly strolling down the streets, without any particular aim, a sign caught his eye ‒ Dark Letters Bar Bed & Breakfast. Now, the angel didn’t consider himself particularly lucky, quite the contrary if he were to consider his circumstances, but it was exactly what he needed for a spontaneous vacation not so far away from home. Stepping inside, Shiloh made his way straight to the bar, a strange feeling creeping inside his heart. He’s seen places like that one before, the last human he’d watched over was very fond of that particular setting. It was bittersweet, and ironic to a certain extent ‒ how he wished for an escape, only to stumble upon reminders of a past that he cherished, but tried to leave behind.
“Hello.” Shiloh spoke as he slightly leaned forward, trying to inch closer to the one behind the bar as if he was about to share some sort of secret no one else could hear. “Could you help me choose a drink? I’m terrible at that, and honestly, I don’t even know what I want to begin with.” The angel confessed, a tint of awkwardness playing in the otherwise bright smile he flashed the other.

It was such an exciting experience- he had gotten to FLY! and now he was getting back to their mother. Hemlock surely was a handful for their parents and there was no end to his adventures in sight! Today Hemlock was saved by Jinki but surely tomorrow or the day after the child would find himself in trouble again.
Going into the elevator he was giggling and then as the door went open with a ding they ended up on a large floor with offices with glass windows. It was very human-esque in a way but the strange plants and dark artworks revealed who was working here. Besides humanity would need a few hundred years more before they got to this level of civilisation. The computers- or what looked like them -were powered by magic and not electricity like they would in the human world.
Hemlock dashed through the hallway and barely waited for Jinki to catch up as the little one tried to find his mother. Luckily mother had a large office and was just standing outside of it to talk to a few colleagues when her eyes landed on her spawn. With a gasp she opened her arms as Hemlock jumped into them and snuggled close to her. Confused she looked up and her eyes found the stranger in the hallway- the man who was responsible for bringing Hemlock here.
Hemlock’s mother was a beautiful lady- small in stature and with long white-blonde hair and dark eyes. Hemlock’s light eyes were obviously from his dad’s side of the family. She looked cute- in a kind of youthful way where you know you’re being tricked and the person is actually a lot older.
“Who are you?” she asked Jinki immediately as she watched the man, cradling her child against her as he babbled to her about adventures. “FLYING-” she hissed and looked at Jinki accusatory. Someone had taken her baby into the AIR???
“Oh yes yes, that is it!!” Locky said as the other finally guessed right (in truth Jinki was doing well and could not have guessed it earlier but as mentioned before- Hemlock was very impatient). “Pay.” he pouted at that, paying was boring.
“WEEHEHHEHEEEEEEEEH!!!” hemlock let out excited as he was scooped up again and he felt his hair and mushrooms swing in the air. “Yes!! and I will tell her about the good food we had!!!” he told the other with a grin. “yes, wings like a pigeon!”
Then the other had wings suddenly and they got SUPER excited, a real pigeon!!!! but it was Jinkiebinkie, Jinkiebinkie the pigeon!!! (they had already forgotten that the other had told them what he was…)
Flying was super fun and Hemlock definitely did not hold on as tight as he should have as they looked around them and at the ground which moved further and further away from them.
“WEeeeeeeeeh” he yelled as he flapped his wings as if he was a pigeon as well. Excited to fly as they went and then as they got closer he looked down. “Oh is that the park near mommies work???” he asked as he peeked down.

“Well hello there! Welcome to Dark Letters Bar, anything you want I got” He smiles waving the new comer over to a stool at the bar. “Please come in, unless you’re underage then come in secretly” The Shigofumi laughed throwing his rag over his shoulder.
Akobel walked into the bar with no real reason but to see how much bars have changed – he remembered during his first walkthrough of Earth how much humans adored and worshiped bars. He doesn't see the concept other than the fact that people seemed to be happier when they were at bars. Maybe Akobel could feel that kind of happiness here.
"How old do you think I am?" Akobel criticizes with narrow eyes, slightly offended but still takes the stool that the other offered – but with caution. Humor is foreign to Ako at this point. This may be the reason why he dislikes most people.
The fallen angel rests his arms on top of the bar top, looking around with curiosity before his gaze back onto the worker. There's a brief moment where he just stares, wondering if the stranger was like every other bartender on Earth that irked Akobel to no means. He thinks for a brief moment that there is no need for conversation but Akobel is new to the area, maybe this guy knows where to get some peace and quiet that is not on academy grounds.
"Are you from around here?" Akobel asks, brown hues staring at the other curiously.

CRASH&BURN {Hemki}
“HEH” HEMLOCK CHUCKLES as he sits on the treestump, hands folded over his chest as he watches the chaos in the distance and it is obvious he isn’t bothered by the flames, blood or crying as he observes them. “That’s funny,” he says to the stranger who suddenly appeared next to him and he can’t help but to smirk at it and he scrunched his nose as he finally looks over.
“You weren’t here a minute ago, where did you come from?”

🍀 stop while you’re ahead {Jinki & Ethirdil}
“You need to stop.” He says to the bartender as he watched him for a while, interact with people. He was sipping his tall glass of some unnamed alcohol slowly as the silver eyes linger on the man that is tending to the customers. Ethirdil gets some snacks from a woman that has to leave and ordered and paid before.
Lucky. Ethirdil takes a bite from the fried goodness and enjoys how the hot cheese nearly burns his mouth but never fully does so.
“You’re desperate for people to like you and it is bringing shame to you, no one likes that you know. Why would anyone respect you if you barely respect yourself, Jinks?”

“I mean, that sounds delightful but we can have a drink here before you go to your, uh, very exciting date at home. What kind of chocolates anyway?” she asked in a weak attempt at social interaction with the other after she had been so rude to her.
She had a large glass of deep red wine in front of her and gestured for the bartender to poor one for Jinki as well. “Ah, well, I would say the same. I thought you were the ladies’ man.” she smiled encouragingly and then shrugged “It’s hard to date after… well, failed relationships.” her brows furrowed at that and oddly enough her spirit-y brother was nowhere to be seen. For once he had stayed home.
“Don’t you have someone waiting for you with that chocolate and the soju?” she asks as she lets her fingers slide over the rim of the glass and tries to relax, but she is tense. This wasn’t what she had envisioned for tonight but it was the same for the other- “Most men don’t date me,” she said softly “You know, I am too tall.”

Raspberry Fields // Jinki and Jinwoo
“B- but aren’t we still outside?” The slight breeze was enough inclination to answer his question. The alcohol pulsing through Jinwoo’s half-human veins had chilled his mind out, but not fully. It would take an actual act of god or some higher being to knock Jinwoo’s freight-train jumping thought process out completely. Senses melded and sensations affected in domino ways no one may ever understand. Blame whatever ridiculously sophisticated alien technology caused his current case of-
“Your voice tastes like raspberries.”
Jinwoo let his hand grasp onto the man’s arm, not because he couldn’t stand but because he needed the contact to feel grounded. He was simply buzzed on drinks, but now even more buzzed on sensation. “Do you taste like them, too?” He mumbled against the jaw of the other male. The idea of continuing whatever had started in an outdoor setting was new, and the more he thought about it, exciting. The grip on his white cane tightened as he hovered curiously around, blindly. “What’s your name again mister raspberry?”

stare stare them down.
She wasn’t who had told her about this new bar but they had been right it was definitely worth a visit. Nice interior, good mood, drinks that weren’t watered down. It was everything she looked for when she wanted to have a drink...or seven.
It had been around her third glass of single malt scotch, she had begun to feel as if someone was watching her and glancing up she had spotted a man behind the bar staring. It didn’t bother her much and in all honesty she probably would have stared at someone day drinking had she been a bartender.
By glass five, she had begun to stare back at him, eyes unwavering as she continued to enjoy her drink. By glass six a sigh had left her lips and sitting up she finally spoke, too curious as to why this unspoken stare down was happening.
“Pardon me but is there some reason as to why you keep glancing this way? If I’ve broken a bar rule you might as well say it so I can right my wrong and continue my liquor consumption in peace.”

“The moon/night is my ally!”
“Your ally?” Seira asked curiously, what would be normal in a conversation, the detail was just that this said conversation wasn't really being directed towards him. Yet the merman presented himself shamelessly staring at the other, waiting for an answer to that statement in which he, for some reason, would like to understand. “I know there could be several reasons but... Maybe because you work in a bar? Or do you like to do something at night? Something specific.”, he started to add some suspicions of his while taking a sip or two of the drink prepared by the same person he's asking so many questions.
“Or else... Perhaps you do something at night, in secret? A secret? It would only make sense for you to say it's your ally, then... Well. Can I have one more of these?” Seira swayed his glass for a few seconds, offering the man a warm smile. “It's delicious!”

[ 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐓𝐇 ] My muse wraps yours in a warm blanket
It was a lovely day, the start of Autumn and the start to her absolute favorite time of year. Sitting on the blanket she had notebooks and books spread about weighted down by different objects she’d found in her bag so they didn’t blow away with the breeze.
Studying outside had seemed like a good idea when the sun had been high in the sky beaming down nice and bright, but now that it was beginning to fall behind the tree’s everything was getting chillier and the light flouncy dress she had dawned that morning definitely was not going to keep her warm for much longer.
As she flipped through another page of Korean homework she felt something warm and soft being wrapped around her shoulders and tucked under her chin. Glancing up she found herself staring into a pair of blue eyes of the one who was gifting her a blanket. A bright smile slipped across her face as she motioned for him to wait a moment and grabbing her notebook she began writing holding it out to him once she was finished.
‘Well you’re a life saver, thank you so much. I wasn’t prepared for the sudden drop in temperature. Do you often carry blankets with you ?’

Sometimes it was nice to mix in with what Key could only note as ‘the peasants’. Especially when he was with other people he knew from older times. As vice-principal it was easy to forget who he had been; or who he still was outside of the academy. One of his more outspoken and loud friends had insisted to come to have a drink and Key had resisted but in the end accepted and thus they ended up in the bar and bed and breakfast (he wondered if the owner referred to the place as a B&B&B instead of a B&B). A place he had only seen in passing but never entered- until now.
The elf wasn’t wearing his usual almost regal clothing and instead wore some loose fitting gray pants and a black shirt that was obviously luxurious but nothing too fancy. Next to him was the red-haired giant of a merman who had hugged him a little too tight upon entering the establishment and was now telling Key about his latest experiences in the bedroom.
Though he did not speak about Key- a stupid name the man stated and insisted on using his Elvish name. Ah yes bartender, I’m Dover, how nice this place is, is it yours? I usually only go to nightclubs but Ninim here insisted on coming here. Key made a face at the last statement. “Only because it is smaller…” he muttered slightly embarrassed by his loud and talkative friend. We would love to start with a large beer and the best Elvish wine you have on stock- and some snacks. Do you have anything deep fried? I prefer fish. “Really Dover, you’re a chef how can you enjoy fast food-” Key protested but Dover shushed him.
Key looked at the owner of the place apologetic. Not a common expression for the elf. “Make that a very large glass of wine.” he muttered under his breath.
Last Words || NiniKi
Jinki was excited he was rolling out a new happy hour special at his bar, he was tired of seeing the same customers seeing the same people who come in the second we open the door to the last call every day. He would never actually complain because money is money but still. He had an idea of doing a happy hour, bring a friend and get drinks 75% off. It was unsurprisingly popular with the locals and even the travelers. His bed and breakfast was booked out for the night which meant people and creatures alike were getting blasted tonight.
Jinki was just happy to have new people coming in. Walking through the double doors he was hit with the smell of alcohol and the loud voices of the crowded bar. It put a smile on his face. As he walked up to the bar he greeted his regular customers as well as thanked others for coming.
He immediately got behind the bar and started to help with drinks, he moved around for a while until he got to the end of the bar where two people were sitting by themselves, he noticed the one of the violet eyes first.
He glanced just above their heads before approaching, his steps faltered when he noticed the blurred info from one of them. His Shigofumi powers would usually show him a persons information right above their heads, normally used to deliver letters and make sure it’s getting delivered to the right person.
But not being able to see anything from the person with violet eyes peaked his interest.
The only time that usually happened would be with older supernatural creatures. He must be dealing with someone much older. It wasn’t the first time he’s noticed it but it still caught him off guard. Smiling he walked over, making sure to be polite as he could. “Hello you two! Having a good night I hope? I’m Jinki the owner of this place, can I get you guys started with anything?”

[ laces ]
[ laces ] your muse lacing , tying , or zipping something for mine , such as shoes , a dress , or a jacket , etc .
Swatting his hand away, the witch shook her head as if to say ‘not that one’. She had been watching the male flutter around the store picking things up and putting them down. She wasn’t sure what exactly he was hoping to achieve but when he had picked up the yellow striped tie she had to step in.
One finger was held up and Katarina slipped away momentarily before returning holding a red silk tie. Stepping closer to him she slid the tie around his neck, tying it with the ease of someone who had done this before. When she was finished she gave it a little pat before turning him to the nearest mirror.

“Interesting name...” The merman whispered to himself, his eyes traveling all over the place until he offered the man a smile and couldn't help but chuckle at the last part of his words— Seira scratched his face for a few seconds as if trying to do the math to see if he's underage or not.
“Just the right age and... well, give me the most requested drink here! I'm in the mood to try new things.”, he said, sitting there.

Was there anything better than bread and butter? Especially when it was warm, fresh, and even better free. The slice went down easy paired with the tea she had ordered, strange things to have at a bar rather than alcohol but she wasn’t in the mood for drinks this early.
‘I think it would be perfect for the menu. You could have different jams in jars, they’re not hard to make or you can buy them at the outdoor market.’
The witch had yet to book a stay at the bed and breakfast but now she was considering it.
‘So far we’ve had tea, bread and coffee cake. What else are you thinking of adding?’
