Fu Xuan gazed at her fiancé. The pictures and holograms of him, truly didn't do him any justice. He was so much more beautiful than they showed. He was the first one to step forward to get off the ship, and the rest followed him. Fu Xuan watched him walk down and noticed as his eyes seemed to search for something amongst the crowd. Someone in the crowd. "Me, he's looking for me." And he quickly found who he was looking for. Fu Xuan felt like her breath was taken away when his golden eyes met with hers. She wasn't sure if her mind was playing tricks on her, but did his smile just widen a bit?

They get married before the Third Abundance War and right after Fu Xuan learned the true reason why her teacher chose her as his student. She is well, a bit temperamental so she decides to go against his divination result by not just moving to another ship but also by putting other plans into action to actively defend against it.

So her great idea was to propose a marriage of convenience to the General-Arbiter of the Luofu. (He agrees to it which is a whole another thing but considering what he did for her in canon, this is like much less crazy)

It truly was just a celebrity crush at first, she admired him and his work. But well being married to him kinda turned that completely innocent admiration into something more.

But of course she denies that. Even if her family, friends and Jing Yuan raise doubt about it, she still denies it. Even after her subconscious sends her dreams of him, thoughts of him, weird urges around him she still denies it.

She tells herself that it’s all just intrusive thoughts that started because she married him, but she forgets that intrusive thoughts are supposed to be things she doesn’t want. (And oh Aeons, how much she wants him)
