Inktober Day 2 - Divided.

It always bothered me that they didn’t fight (and die) together in the games/manga. At least the WM and movies changed that but the movies also changed so much that I didn’t like so...

This one is super simple because I’m tired from work. Also, for the record, I don’t plan on this being an entirely Takajin Inktober as not all the prompts really fit, but that’s just how it’s worked out so far. It will at least be all Persona, if I actually manage to keep doing it.

Inktober, Day 1: Swift

Decided to draw Jin instead of Yosuke for this one (as originally planned) because he definitely still counts as a fast character. He swiftly dodges attacks and says, “not good enough!” or “too slow!” when SEES misses. I bet he’d have a high Ag stat if he were playable. Your bufu spell ain’t shit, Mitsuru!

Getting used to Clip Studio Paint as I bought it when it was on sale recently, so this is my first finished piece using that program. Also my first black and white/ink-style piece. Any tips/tricks for this new program is welcome, as it’s definitely a change from Medibang and has a lot more features to learn.

Also, I work full-time so I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep up with this all month, but I really want to try!

Takajin Week - Day 7: Free Day!

I decided to do beach Takajin (or alternatively, Takajin, Alolan form!)

Jin is annoyed with Takaya because he’s dressed more for the beach than he is normally. And yes, the beach ball is a Bob Omb XD

Takajin Week - Day 6: Height Difference

“The best part of Strega’s family portrait is that Jin’s standing 10 feet in the foreground to be as tall as Takaya.”

Based on this tweet of Kevin Hart’s wedding photo which cracked me up and changed my original idea for this prompt immediately. Unfortunately, the fact that he’s further in the foreground doesn’t quite pop out as much as I’d like but it was my first time experimenting with something like that.

Takajin Week - Day 5: In the Kirijo Institute Together in the Past

So I have a headcanon that Takaya summoned his persona first, being the leader and all, and since Jin looked up to him so much, he didn’t develop his until a bit later... when Takaya was in danger. Arena mentioned that emotional distress was needed for someone to develop a persona, after all, and little Jin couldn’t just let his role model get hurt...

Takaya has to constantly watch Jin to make sure he doesn’t slam into other students, since he’s always glued to a book or his phone in the hallways.

Jin wears the jacket closed because he just likes jackets, and Takaya is forced to wear the long sleeved shirt year round because of his tattoos, but always skips the blazer.
