Jimin posted first and early for jungkookies bday bc he had to go and stun everyone this evening in his Dior outfit ! ✨😁

But Dior is trying to tell a story. A story of a young, hot, rich, preppy college boy who is from a chaebol family in SK. He wants to become a dancer but his father has sent him to study business management in London so he can take over the family empire. You can see a little sadness in his eyes since he knows his dream of dancing will never be fulfilled and he is resigned to his fate. Even chaebol princes have feelings and a sad story 🥺

Before attending Uni, he was probably in and out of European private schools. Mommy and Daddy have only been there for him financially. He's not exactly a bad boy, but he does have some tendency to rebel from time to time. He doesn't push too hard because he's not an asshole. In public, he's the nice preppy boy, his family's pride while in his private life he goes to parties where he kisses boys and girls because what else is there to do while stuck in his position? He needs happiness in small doses by indulging however possible.

I think we can go on and on with this. Jimin looks yummy because he's always a snack. His face can save a photoshoot.

Jimin making seismic waves in the world of fashion

Even before he arrived at the venue it was clear that something very different was happening in Paris today. People started converging on Place de la Concorde from early in the morning prepared to endure the freezing temperatures in order to catch a glimpse of Park Jimin.

He arrived just in time for the show and was greeted by Dior staff and the deafening roar of the crowd screaming and chanting his name.

From the moment the first video was released of Jimin making his entrance to the Dior Winter 2023-24 Show it was clear that as with everything he does Jimin was going to take this new role seriously. He ain't here to play, he's here to slay.

Sans his usual accessories and with minimal make up, his hair was gorgeously styled and, as Edward Barsamian suggested in his latest tweet, if anyone could make beige look like the next big thing it was going to be Park Jimin.

Next stop the photo call. Eyes looking straight into the camera lens and reminding us, if we needed a reminder, that Park Jimin is all grown up. You can see in this photo someone who is only going to get handsomer in their 30s and 40s. He has a face that is going to age very well indeed.

The press attention didn't relent even when he was shown to his seat. He gallantly tried to respond positively to everyone demanding his attention taking photographs and recording videos for the Instagram accounts of the major fashion mags present.

It was no doubt reassuring to have J-Hope and his friend from W Korea beside him while taking his first steps into representing the world of high value fashion.

He was friendly and approachable despite the language barrier.

And he paid rapt attention to the show itself and was duly appreciative during the final catwalk parade. He is one classy guy.

Then he slipped away as calmly and as gracefully as he had arrived with smiles for the lucky fans waiting at the venue exit.

Today the tectonic plates that hold the world of fashion together were disturbed. Park Jimin has arrived and he's making seismic waves.
