Truly if you're someone who can't handle horror and that's the only reason why you're not seeing I Saw the TV Glow then please go see it because I'm a scaredy cat who can't handle horror but it was more just unsettling. I was so nervous seeing it the first time but after seeing it I realized there was never any time I felt uncomfortable except for a few seconds and it wasn't even that bad.

It's just so good and if you're worried please don't be, just see it loll
