The People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) of China has been busy visiting various Countries in South East Asia (SEA) recently. Aside from Indonesia as I reported several days ago, another Group of PLAN Vessels visited Vietnam at about the same time.

This Group consisted of the Type 052D Destroyer "Changsha (173)" and the Type 071 Amphibious Landing Ship "Jinggang Shan (999)" which docked at the Tien Sa Port in Da Nang City in Vietnam. The Type 052D Destroyer is one of China's most capable Destroyers with 64 Vertical Launching System (VLS) Cells, and with several other Weapons.

The Type 071 Vessel is again another Vessel which the Philippines won't allow in its Port because it will be at the forefront of any Invasion or Retaking of any Territory in the South China Sea (SCS).

Remember that Vietnam also has Territorial Disputes with China, but the fact that they allow such Vessels into their Port shows their closeness with China, unlike the Philippines which has allowed itself to be goaded and brainwashed into subservience to the United States (US) and to be antagonistic towards China.

The PLAN Vessels stayed in Vietnam for three Days where it was given a Welcoming Ceremony by the Vietnamese Navy, and where its Crew participated various in Cultural Exchanges, Scenic and Historical Tours, and Sports Competition with the Vietnamese Populace.
