Stefania Gladki : small but smooth

Yuseong Kim : jumped the axel just in front of me which was cool, but from nearly standstill which was less cool. Good ice coverage the screen does her a disservice. Got murdered by the tech panel.

Yihan Wang: rock solid jumps are BEAUTIFUL especially the Lutz. No emotions at all very business like but suits her packaging.

Ami Nakai : the program that made me go "wait it's over???!!" And where I felt like a step sequence was needed. So much musicality and emotions. URs visible in real time and the axis of the jumps are all kinds of scarry which isn't a good sign tbh. But should get the highest PCS here.

Kaoruko Wada: strongest skate tbh. Good musicality too I feel like she could get more interesting programs it's fine but not great.

Mao Shimada: Mado Kara Mieru is a beautiful program. Step sequence covered a lot of ice better than a lot of seniors tbh. Effortless SS and stunning posture. The two mistakes at the beginning took her out and compared to yesterday night and day

In the early days of these accounts, you were asked what characters in media/history inspire JGF. Now that we’re getting closer to the end of the campaign, are there any new inspirations for the character?

I love these types of questions tbh, i love hearing what influences people use to form these personalities we spend hundreds of hours with.

I'll say the obvious one at the top - The Doctor (Doctor Who) - Though Johnny is far from being a Time Lord, his semi-transient lifestyle with The Black Wing/Oskar's Crew gave him the "fix a problem and leave town" type of deal with the places they visited. And while the other crew members want to party their tails off, which Johnny was privy to, he always wants to help where he can and those down on their luck. I've talked about the moral dilemma between Johnny and the moral compass of the Ardowin underworld before and how he's struggled navigating that environment. He also has a sort of has his own "duty of care" to those in his crews. He was already comfortable with the "motley crew turned found family" aesthetic that adventuring parties tend to have. I also believe each interpretation of The Doctor has a little something different to lend to Johnny. Eleven's aloofness and optimism, Nine's brash attitude and charm, Twelve's growth of compassion for others, even Fifteen's jovial disposition and acceptance of his purpose in the universe is refreshing for both D.W. fans and for Johnny's character.

I bring up Superman a lot when talking about comic characters i admire, but recently I've been thinking of another hero that I think fits Johnny better - Nightwing (Dick Grayson) - Prodigal Son of Batman turned paragon of hope for Blüdhaven, Nightwing emulates what I want the legacy of Johnny to be and how I picture he interacts with the world around him. Confident, quipping constantly, leaping over bad guys, and throwing weapons with overt flare like the good-meaning, lovable, brazen smart-ass like i love Johnny to be. Dick sees the pain within Batman and doesn't want to end up like him, but knows that any other lifestyle would leave him itching for adventure and wanting to get back out there. He's living as a hero for his own fulfillment and his own legacy now. Johnny wants to make a legend of his own name, he always has since he was a kid, him and Nightwing share a path of finding your own legend to craft for yourself and that living in a shadow only lets your legend rot in the dark.

So yeah, those are the top two characters that are currently inspiring how i play Johnny at the moment.

I haven’t talked much a lot publicly about what happened to Fiasco between Vynn going missing and Fiasco meeting JGF.

I’ve definitely shared about Eye, Fiasco’s silver-enlaced wand he took after a messy breakup. (The Sage has more details on that, but I don’t think I’ll share them until after The Chainbreakers’ story ends.) after that breakup, Fiasco became very guarded, even from people in the black wing, only really trusting the Don to give him orders or act in any way as a mentor or guardian. Early campaign, if attentive players may have noticed, Fiasco sort of idolized the don (he still does, but for different reasons now).

I’d say Fiasco’s major goal before meeting the chainbreakers was decentralizing power structures in Freyglen and repaying the debt he owes to the Don for saving his life.
