✏️ Favorite Story ArcSEASON SIX. FULL STOP. But since we’re talking arcs I’m being a broken record (and I know you sent this to me with that intent EXACTLY) and I just love the entire story the truckers had. I just love the way it plays with tropes and subverts a lot of expectations of the genre (both science fiction action as a whole AND the space outlaw/space western story framework the crew firmly exists in), as well as their aesthetic. For a bunch of characters who literally existed for Clark to have a continued role in the story, the worldbuilding and the amount of love put into the grimy, anachronistic, DIY wasteland aesthetic is AMAZING and it’s just one of those fictional worlds I would kill to be dropped into. And the fact SO MUCH was said with what was unsaid. You really got a sense of their chaotic, dysfunctional, dark found family just from hints in the stage direction or their interactions with each other. They’re a masterclass in how there are no small parts in anything, and how to effectively give a sense of character. They’re just. Everything relevant to my interests, in one story arc. And I know I fell hard for Snow the minute she walked down those museum steps but like I didn’t realize how much I’d come to love the rest of them as well. send me some asks!

I am still not full-on shipping this, but the thought of Deke and Daisy is kind of growing on me. (!!!!!!!!!!!!) 

(The reason why I am dreading this ship is because of the logistics of it – Deke’s grandparents are Daisy’s BFFs so for me that makes Daisy sort of his grand-aunt and I just……. lkasdjaldjkasldjajk)

HOWEVER!!!!!!!

I can only accept them being endgame if the show would develop their relationship as organically as possible…. in 13 eps. 👀 Tbh I was really annoyed at the whole “puppy dog” pining Deke has done for most of S6, so if the writers/the show is really pushing this ship as an endgame OTP for Daisy, then they should do it justice.

16. If you could change anything in the show, what would you change?

There are two things I would like to change – Fitz not dying at the end of S5, and the whole Will storyline. Now for the Fitz not dying part I understand that they had to work around the whole two-Fitz paradox, and although it was traumatic as fck I kind of understand why they did it.

HOWEVER.

The whole Will thing was so unnecessary, and it robbed Jemma of a magnificent storyline while she was on the Maveth. Don’t get me wrong, Elizabeth FREAKING KILLED 3x05, and I absolutely loved the first 11/12 minutes of the episode. But it really takes a lot from me to rewatch that entire ep because of how annoyed I was with that storyline. 😒😒😒

for what it's worth I think the first few episodes are the hardest to get through? like, when I first listened to taz it took me ~6 months to get through 10 episodes and then i was like. HOOKED

ooooh that early?? [eyes emoji] that’s so nice to hear.......(tma took me until like mid-late s2 to get truly hooked asjkdgn) but i’ve heard taz gets better after the first arc or so and i’m excited for that

like i do like it so far!! but im also ready for it to get to like...what people post about and stuff

(but also a lot of it is that they’re all at least an hour when im used to all the other podcasts i listen to being about 20-30 minutes lajksdn so i feel like i’m not progressing through episodes as fast as i’m used to)
