when i finished control for the first time i was honestly SO torn up about darlings fate i didnt touch the ranger expeditions/house missions for like a month lmao. i edited in 'everything behind his eyes' cuz he was driven a little mad by his work. also consider myself the #2 dr darling martyr bc i posted him ONCE and was FLAYED ALIVE FOR IT

i just wanted to interact with pope in ways besides fbc exposition and questgiving but im still rlly fond of her and her energy despite The Horrors (TM) and her sagacity n i kinda hhbshhznngbsbhjgh.. all im saying is jessemily real in my heart of hearts and it happened right there in that huge fuckoff conference room

For Jesse/Emily ideas, the classic drunk confession. Either due it good old alcohol or Altered Item, one of the two gets intoxicated and confesses their feelings, fluff, angst, or whatever else ensues.

I’ve been cranking at it for the better part of the month and I’m really happy with how it turned out! I know it’s not /totally/ a complete drunk confession but I hope you enjoy :) it sort of reads like a 5 + 1 fic, with back and forth about their pasts and what not w/fun(ish) questions
