Day 4: I miss Jessbee (he died in the meth lab explosion of new manifoldland)

I wish c!jack was more popular. This includes Timothy, Godzilla, and Jessbee (his pets). Also, people made other pets (like shroud) kids, so what's stopping you from making Jack's pets his kids. Timothy is already his son, which he had with ponk. Cmon, make content of the gay dads and their chicken son!

Also, if your more into angst and not fluffy family stuff, all his stuff gets taken from him. He can't even keep his pets, with some dying randomly and others dissapearing. ALSO. C!tommy destroyed timothy (his sons)grave. his stuff gets stolen and destroyed so much, he cant even have a grave. He's such a good character, and I need him to be more popular.

I am hitting you all with the c!jack autism beam. You will include him in your dsmp content and you will like it.

Dream SMP Recap (August 19/2021) - New Manifoldland

Living in a desert miles away from Spawn, Jack builds up his new home for himself while Sam gathers resources for a giant future terraforming project.

- Sam’s objective for today is to gather as much stone and dirt as possible for his top secret project

- Foolish logs on

- Sam gets stone from the Punzo Chunk and kills a bunch of squid in the river

- He continues going around the server looking in chests for materials

- Techno’s bell is still in the cell because it’s too annoying to break it

- Sam says there will be lore with the prison within two weeks

- He accidentally links a Nether Portal to Logsted since his oasis island is nearby

- Jack logs on

- He continues gathering resources and goes to the Blaze spawner. Jack logs off

- Jack logs on again, Sam reacts to the most recent Manhunt

- At some point, HBomb logs on

- Jack starts stream welcoming chat to his new home, standing in a desert. He declares the place New Manifoldland

- The first thing he needs is food, but since he’s getting attacked by mobs, he digs himself into a one-block hole and declares it the Manicave, mining in pitch darkness

- Foolish messages him through chat. Jack is annoyed that people are trying to talk with him. Foolish wants to know if Jack is still bald and Jack replies yes

- He continues digging out the cave and decides to give New Manifoldland an orange filter

- Jack gets back up to the surface and needs a place to live. Every nation on the server that meant anything started with a specific type of building:

- Jack is going to build a van out in the desert to sell dru– objects out of. He builds it out of stone

- Niki logs on. Sam greets her, but Jack doesn’t. Foolish was the last one, he’s not speaking to people anymore

- Niki whispers to Sam asking for TNT, as she wants to work on her underground city some more

- Jack remains alone in his cave

Jack: “I just want my van, dammit. I just want my little – I just want a van. I just want a van, and I want a little homestead, and I just want to be happy, alright? That’s all I want. That’s all I ever wanted...I just wanted it to be happy. And given that no one else could make that happen, I guess it’s up to me.”

- Sam travels to Nik’s city to meet her and gives her a few stacks of TNT. He remembers to ask if she has any dirt and smooth stone and she shows him the chests full of it to take. Sam feels bad

Niki: my things are your things! this is a place where we help each other out

- Sam thanks her and leaves

- Jack continues working on the Vanifold and also builds himself a little shack to live out of

- Jack, comparing himself to Walter White, might need a “Jesse,” a companion

- After Sam messages him, Phil logs on to help with the supplies. Jack tells himself he doesn’t miss them

- Phil meets Sam at Sam’s island to drop off tons and tons of stone

- While riding in a boat on the ice highway back from his mountain base, Sam bumps into Foolish, getting rid of his boat

Sam: KaCHow

Foolish: KaFUCKED ME OVER

Sam: I am speed

Niki: what?

- Phil drops off a ton more dirt at Sam’s island

- Foolish calls Sam about losing his precious boat

- Jack finds a bee and wants it to be his Jesse. He names it Jessbee. He gets Jessbee into the van, calling the day there

- Sam and Foolish lament about the lack of shulkers and discuss ideas for an uprising against DreamXD, where they would shove feathers up DreamXD’s nostrils to defeat him

- Phil keeps coming back with more full-chests-worth of dirt. Sam thanks him, telling him he will not forget this

Phil: now release techno :)

Phil: jk

Sam: STOP WE’RE LEAKING THE LORE

Phil: dirt for the pig

Sam: *Phil arrives the prison and sternly asks Sam to release Techno*

Sam: *sam complies*

Phil: “member da dirt”

Phil: “I member”

Sam: *right this way to the main cell sir*

Foolish: *starts licking dirt*

Phil: it’s like not even being delivered to the right location just outside prison

Sam: *Let’s get you your piggy back*

Foolish: “WAIT SAM!” DON’T RELEASE TECHO! THIS DIRT IS FAKE!”

- Phil logs off, leaving Sam to continue working while chatting with Foolish. Foolish suggests they do some random lore tomorrow, just see where it goes. Maybe they can canonically lock the Joker up in the prison

- Sam and Foolish get very confused by Bad appearing in the VC, thinking he’s just a soundboard. The three of them hang out

ty for this anon cause i wanna talk about the similarities between tommy's exile and jack's 80+ days!!

loneliness (for who knows how long.)

both extroverts who thrive in situations with other people, isolation is one of the hardest things that tommy and jack could go through, and they didn't even know how long they'd be there. lasting 11 and 181 days respectively (in real time), both were in suffocating solitude away from the people they wanted to be with the most, and there was no telling when it would end.

both could die, if they wanted. (maybe they did.)

mental health declining rapidly, both resort to unhealthy coping mechanisms (drinking, self harm) and begin to understand how their life can rest in their hands. tommy remarks how he "won't be around for much longer; he hasn't got much left in him" and jack states how he'd "be gone for good" if he had to go back to the rest of the server. they see their life as something they can have control over in situations where otherwise it feels like they have none. 

constantly losing what they care about (neither of them want to.)

when everything seems so harsh and out of control, you need a constant to hold onto to help you get through things and for both, they didn't. what little progress either would make with items would be erased within a day near-guaranteed (with jack falling victim to mobs and such and tommy having his things stolen and destroyed by dream). even their pets aren't safe as jessbee is nowhere to be found and dream takes the life of logsted's resident mooshroom.

missing their friends (but they're not allowed to.)

during this time, both of them miss their friends terribly. they want to see them and talk with them again but they can't, they're forced not to. through external force (that force being dream) tommy isn't allowed to talk with people dream hasn't permitted, he can't visit the dream smp, he can't even keep sentimental photos of them because he "doesn't need them." through internal force, jack repeats like a mantra into his mind that he doesn't miss his friends. he doesn't. he doesn't. (he does.) he forces himself not to go back, not to talk to them, to not miss them for what he thinks is his own good.

"if people care, they'll make the trip."

logstedshire and new manifoldland had two major issues when they were created that prevented people from seeing them right away. 1) they were far away (it's almost a necessity to take the nether to reach either in a timely manner). 2) no one knew where they were. you could guess from certain elements sure, with tubbo seeing dream and tommy head off, and the hotel showcasing jack's absence, but overall they weren't meant to be found. but they were both still hurt because it felt like no one cared enough about them to make the trip, when they would've done it for others in a heartbeat.

during tommy's exile he held a party inviting everyone he could, excited to spend time with his friends again and maybe even get a chance to come back home for christmas. instead, the day comes and (because of dream) no one shows but him. tommy destroys the cake, shaking and upset, sure that no one cares about him or what he’s going through because they didn't even care enough to come to his party, when that's all he’s had to look forward to in so long. 

during jack's 80 days, he made a cake three months in advance to celebrate his birthday, desperate and excited for an occasion (which also marked the anniversary of l'manburg's first day of peace) he'd get to spend with his friends again. a time to be happy again. instead, the day comes and (of their own merit) no one shows. he doesn't touch the cake, upset and hurt and drinking his sorrows away trying to get as far away from this feeling (and the server) as possible.

Todays lore quick thoughts

Jack

He once again has the dulled filter. Dream escaped and jack is mad that he seems to be the only on that cares. He is mad at the people that helped Dream escape, he is going to be so mad at Niki.

Jack’s stream was deep. Always with his thoughts on Tommy, saying good and bad facts and points. Not knowing the full truth, the full story, the reason for things, but he is justified for his feelings and thoughts. Jack still wanting to help Tommy deep down, it’s so great, so emotional.

He misses niki, he is conflicted hearing she helped Dream. He is sad that even niki didn’t come for him... Gosh that really got me in the heart :(

Jack has been gone so long he doesn’t know about Kinoko Kingdom. He thinks it’s really beautiful, hope.

I’m just so happy I watched Jack’s stream for the Niki Jack interaction. Shows how important watching all the streams can be XD. This was so emotional :(((( Niki doesn’t know what she thinks, what is right. Jack saying nothing is more important than containing Dream, who cares about Ranboo. Look what happened when they tried to save him. Niki calling Jack out, saying that he is selfish, he is the one trying to make himself the person people revolve around. Jack deserves respect and friends, but he isn’t the center, Niki has her own life. Jack disappearing is on him, he can’t blame Niki.

Niki’s speech is amazing, so emotional. Niki is right, and so is Jack. This stream had some of the most animatic potential. RocketDuo, is so amazing.... Eating her cookies, being there for one another. Not letting these decisions get in the way of their friendship.

JessBee is gone....The only one he had in his new “home”.

Jacks whole “Be worse” is him trying to be bad and reject others before they reject him. He thought they left him, and he wanted to be someone they wouldn’t forget. He wants friends and peace though, he is really lonely...

Eryn

I am still behind for Eryn streams so sorry :P, don’t know all his character traits yet. I know he made the Dream shrine, he says he doesn’t think dream is that bad, that he deserves a redemption. and I know he wanted to get Dream to Tommy so Tommy found have a purpose again. I think the shrine was to get Tommy thrown in prison for liking Dream.

Eryn has an issue at coming in the most horrible times when people are trying to do lore XD He needs to read a room, I guess that's just his character.

I like Eryn bonding with Sapnap and Bad, anyone who is demon or from the nether. Calling Sapnap his brother, saying he things they might be brothers. He uses this to try to get Sapnap to believe him though... Tries to use it to convince people he is innocent. 

Eryn is sus this while stream. He knows things and doesn’t say. He denies the claims to making the shrine and trying to frame Tommy, and he takes the prime bell and doesn’t come forward. He acts in the dark.

Eryn was the closest person on the escapee’s trail. 

Also Karl acts like hes doesn’t care about anything at all in this stream. 

Eryn is upset that Tommy tells him to leave, everyone is ignoring him, he feels alone, he wants attention...

He doesn’t like the prime church/holy land, he was about to blow it up.

They talk about Sam going a bit crazy... Sam kills apollo the dog, and then Sam kills Ranboo! They can’t figure out why Sam did it. Eryn met Ghostboo so it would be helpful if he told Tubbo and Techno what Ghostboo told him, but he doesn’t and so they still have no idea what happened. 

Tubbo see’s ghostboo, and he must be canonically in denial...

Eryn won’t say if he is a Dream fan or not, just that he is on Tommy’s side.

Came into the town for milk, is surprised that town is busier then usual.  It’s funny how he keeps trying to find somewhere to get milk.

Most of my notes for his perspective can be grouped with others so are with others. He is part of the group of people who don’t know Dream, and would like answers and reasons to what's going on. Unlike Eryn he can recognize that Dream is bad and has done bad things. Michael gives good points and advice about their friendship, and how Sapnap isn’t checking on him.

Talks to Sapnap about Dream, and does Sapnap really need to kill Dream? if they are friends shouldn’t Sapnap want to help him, the prison isn’t what's best for Dream.

Is the one to see the church prime bell is gone.

Tommy is very determined to make sure the new member know of Dreams crimes, and to be carful and stay away from him. 

Eryn and him agree that they don’t need to be part of this Dream fiasco, there is stuff they don’t know. Michael regrets coming to town :)

all my doomsday posts have been about c!jack i don't care l'manberg was cool and all but i joined the fandom like days before it got blown up so like i don't have an emotional attachment to it. c!jack on the other hand. i want to rub my hand over the tiny bristles on his head. i want to make him canned soup with a garnish of this crushed up dead leaf i found on the sand. i want to traverse all the lands to find jessbee for him. i want to walk in front of him into a building and say into the intercom, "the most special boy in the world is about to enter this place and if you do not clap and cheer for him i'm blowing this fucking building up with everyone including myself and excluding him inside". i want to gather everyone on the planet around the big jack manifold hotel for its grand reopening and have him snip the ribbon and watch as all the rooms fill up.
