I like this because I like stories where people have complicated emotional relationships with activities, and the parts of the activity where they really excel. And I like stories where emotional struggles with identity are a part of this

My second-favorite is 92. I just love the universe in which it lives — there's this huge, bureaucratic, cartoonish and sinister place full of funny little artifacts that I want to know everything about

have you ever read warrior cats? same question goes for wings of fire. which of those book series do you like more?

I have not read Warrior Cats. I have read the first 20 or so books of Wings of Fire, but there's a large gap in my reading.

Is it true?

The only things I know about Andrew Hussie are:

He has a dreamwidth where he posts some stuff and has some people who followed him in the "social networking" days who come by to chat. I don't really know any of them.

He posts art on tumblr.

He says he had a strong interest in internet weirdness when he was young. Homestuck is what he's come up with as a result of this.

He has a very sarcastic, dry, sense of humor. You can see this in that brief part of Homestuck before the epilogues, and more clearly in the tumblr art posts he makes under the name "StudyBuddy." He often makes jokes at the expense of people who are very earnest about things and he might even pick on his readers (as he did with his "Homestuck intermission concept" posts).

He started a company, HussieStuff.com, which sold t-shirts. The sales went poorly, and he decided to give away the money to HIV/AIDS charities.

… I don't actually know any of this? It's stuff I got from unverified quotes, other people's blog posts, etc. I believe I have a correct picture of what the man is like, but if any of the above points are wrong, I don't know that I have any reason to believe anything about Andrew Hussie.
