How many works do you have on AO3? Only 4. The rest is on FF.NET.

What is your total AO3 word count? 180,388

What fandoms do you write for? I've written for Harry Potter (but I don't see myself revisiting that fandom) and am currently writing for The Vampire Diaries. I have plot bunnies for Supernatural and Smallville.

What are your top five fics by kudos? Imperfectly Bound: Part 1, Second Chances, Time's Up (Sequel to Second Chances), and my OC Winter Challenge collection

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? I try to respond to them because I like readers to know that I saw it and it meant something that they took the time. And if I haven't updated in a while, I like to let them know the story isn't abandoned. The only exception is if the comment just says to "update soon".

What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? I guess Time's Up: A Second Chances Sequel. I wrote it in respond to the TVD finale (and I was not happy about it).

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Most are positive but more along the lines of optimistic/hopeful than 'happy'.

Do you get hate on your fic? Not really. I've had a couple rude comments but nothing that really qualifies as hate.

Do you write smut? No. I don't have a problem with it; I just don't have the skill to write it.

Do you write crossovers? No

Have you ever had a fic stolen? Yes, I was alerted to someone reposting a fic on wattpad a year or so ago. I suspect it's happened more than once but I got that instance removed.

Have you ever had a fic translated? No

Have you ever co-written a fic? No

What's your all-time favorite ship? Oh, that's tough. For fandom in general I think it's nearly a tie between Mulder/Scully and Bones/Booth. But I think Mulder/Scully will always be first because of how foundational The X-Files is for me. As far as top ship for what I'll read.... That really depends on whatever the current obsession is.

What's the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? Listen, It might take me a decade but I will finish 'Imperfectly Bound'. I doubt I'll ever finish the SPN fic though.

What are your writing strengths? I really have no idea. Maybe establishing the relationships between the characters? If not a strength, it's definitely something I've improved.

What are your writing weaknesses? Oh so many but the top two: Not planning out a story and a lack discipline to write

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? I'm not fluent in anything but English so I probably wouldn't do it.

First fandom you wrote for? Harry Potter

Favorite fic you've ever written? Hmm, I'll with 'Imperfectly Bound' since I am pretty happy with what I've done with it.

Missed “last line” and “heads up, seven up” tag games

At this point, @wordspin-shares and @darknightfrombeyond have tagged me in so many “last line” and “heads up, seven up” that I probably owe you both an actual chapter. Unfortunately, I have been pretending my writing didn’t exist until I decided to do NaNo this year. So here’s an extra long snippet to make up for all of the missed tagged games (and thank you for tagging me 💜 hope you both are doing well!).

From Chapter 21 of Imperfectly Bound:

“When you’re hunting,” she clarified. “You don’t blatantly go after someone when they’re protected. You isolate them and wait until vulnerable, right?”

Begrudgingly Damon nodded. “Usually, yes.”

“So what does it matter where we are? If I my father does come after me, he won’t make a move until I’m alone.”

“It matters because you shouldn’t be trying to do this alone. You shouldn’t be trying to do this at all!” He crossed the room, crowding into her space once more. She waited for his tirade; she was sure it would be close to the one she got from Ric last night. “What do you think happens if you go up against him alone?”

She shrugged. “Honestly? I don’t know. There’s always the chance that he doesn’t want to kill me and then all of this worrying and training is pointless. Otherwise I do what I can and hope for the best.”

“You’ll hope for the best?” he repeated in disbelief. “Do you even know how stupid that sounds!”

“Do you have a better suggestion?” she snapped, raising her voice to match his.

“Of course. We go after him now, when he’s not expecting it, and I take care of him. No ifs and maybes. No more stupid plans and it’s all over.”

“Except Bonnie and I have already tried a scrying spell. It didn’t work. He has some sort of protection spell in place. And, you know, we could go back and forth for hours on this. I actually already have once today and I can’t do it again.” She went to walk around him but was stopped by him grabbing her upper arm. Sighing, she said, “Damon, I’m tired and I’m late to meet Bonnie. Can you and Ric argue about this yourselves?”

“Yah, I’ll be sure do that,” he muttered, though Gwen had a feeling he meant it.

OC Kiss Scene Tag Game

Thank you for the tag @wordspin-shares! I’ve been thinking about writing this scene for awhile so this was kind of like a fun prompt to get a draft out.

[Potentially] from my TVD fic Imperfectly Bound:

As he started to wake, Damon first noticed the cold air across his skin. He did not react instantly to it, as the cold did not affect him, and a minute later heard the soft rustling of the curtains, indicating the window was open. Groaning, he briefly wondered why the window was open — it was not like him to sleep with the window open, especially with modern technologies like central air and heat — when the gentle graze of warm lips against his own startled him out of his half-sleep, half-awake state.

Opening his eyes, he was surprised to see Gwen hovering over him. He frowned slightly. He had no memory of seeing her the night before let alone of brining her home with him. Still, Damon did not push her away when she leaned down and kissed him again.

It was chaste, but Damon quickly moved to deepen it. His hand moved to cup her face and pull her close, but broke away with a giggle.

“I can’t stay,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

“Why?” He asked, sounding disappointed. He would have been embarrassed by that but he mind was moving too fast; trying to put all the pieces together. “Wait. Why are you here? Not that I’m complaining.”

Her smile faltered a little as her eyes searched his face for something. “I slept here like I always do when Ric’s out of town. Are you feeling all right?”

She looked at him with concerned gray eyes, teeth worrying her bottom lip. Gwen glanced over her shoulder toward the door as if someone had called her. Or as if she was thinking of calling out for help. Stefan must be home. That was why she had been whispering. Damon moved quickly. Whatever was happening, he did not want to ruin it. He pulled her from where she had been kneeling on the bed next to him and repositioned her so straddled him. He smirked at her help of surprise.

“Damon,” she sighed, weakly slapping his chest as she recovered from her sudden relocation. “I told you I can’t stay.”

“Why not?” H=he asked, leaning forward to kiss her neck while his hands slid up her bare thighs to under the white t-shirt — his white t-shirt — she wore. A wave of want rushed through him. He needed to convince her stay. “You just said that Ric’s out of town. It’s not like you need to run home.”

Gwen’s hands tightened on his shoulders, as if she was trying to ground herself, which only encouraged Damon to double his efforts.

“Because,” she said breathlessly. “I have to meet Caroline. We have - have a project —”

He grazed her pulse with his teeth, eliciting a small moan from her, before cupping her face again. This time, Gwen followed his pull; lips crashing together almost desperately.

“You can be late,” he murmured.

She made a weak sound of protest, but did not try to pull away from him again. He smiled against her lips, not quite believing he was getting this. One of her hands moved up to grip his hair as he pulled her even closer to him so they were flush against each other. Damon was preparing to flip them over when she hissed in pain and pulled away from him.

“What is it?” Damon asked, brows furrowed.

She shook her head, confused as well. Her hand moved to her neck, where the pain must have originated from. A second later she pulled it away and both of them were shocked to see it covered in bright red blood.

Damon’s thoughts came to a stop. He had not broken the skin. That was not even the right side….

“Damon? What’s happening?” she asked, her voice panicky.

He found his words stuck in throat. Shaking his head, Damon reached toward her throat as if his hand could stop the flow of blood. But before he could make contact, she vanished.

He jumped out of bed; his mind racing as he tried to figure out what had just happened. Then the room was filled with cold, amused laughter.
