Chapter 47: That's, Like Way Deadly

Omg. Omg. Omg. OMG. OMGGGGG. That was my reaction reading this chapter lol. This is probably the most insane chapter of Dandadan so far because of the unexpected (but shouldn't be unexpected) elements. I can't believe I don't remember this happening lol it's absolutely insane. I'm glad to see everyone again, and Seiko with the genius plan to trap The Evil Eye.

I also forgot that Momo's psychic powers can be cut off, and she feels pain from it, AND it takes time for her psychic arms to grow back.

I still don't understand the Jennifer Lopez Anaconda move. JLo was in a movie called Anaconda though. Is it because her fist looks like a snake?

Luis Llosa (The Specialist) directs from a script by Hans Bauer (Titan A.E.) and Jim Cash & Jack Epps, Jr. (Top Gun). Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube, Jon Voight, Eric Stoltz, Jonathan Hyde, Owen Wilson, and Kari Wuhrer star.

A documentary film crew, headed by anthropologist Steve Cale (Eric Stoltz) and director Terri Flores (Jennifer Lopez), ventures into the world's most isolated jungle - the Amazon - in search of a lost and forgotten civilization. Early in their journey, they come to the aid of Paul Serone, a Paraguayan guide (Jon Voight), who joins their expedition. But Serone is actually a poacher on the trail of a legendary snake. When Serone hijacks the boat and its crew on his quest to track and kill the giant snake, he steers the expedition right into the path of the deadly monster.

No wonder I fell in love with Jennifer Lopez in Anaconda when I was 11. She was strong, tough and sexy.

She was one of my first celebrity crushes…even though Anaconda was a B - grade movie, I watched it so many times just so I could imagine myself going on an adventure with JLo

I might've had another hindsight realization yesterday... I was saying, when it came out, I saw the movie Anaconda at least twice in the theater and then rented it and then watched it any time it came on TV. But I had no idea why I liked it that much...

Y'all. It was Jennifer Lopez. And men getting eaten by giant snakes. But mostly it was a young Jennifer Lopez.
