You sighed for the unknown time during the night. You were happy and at the same time angry. You were supposed to be dancing and chatting and living your best life but no... You were literally watching your fiancé, Antoine Griezmann ignore you and enjoy all the female attention he has been getting because of his amazing game ever since the World Cup.

Tonight you were celebrating France's win against Netherlands. Your fiancé being proclaimed vice-captain (Which you thought it wasn't fair but still were happy for Kylian) and proving himself at minute 2' by scoring opening the match with a very good rhythm.

But it seemed like the attention had gotten a lot for him. Antoine kissed you after the game as you congratulated him, spoke to you in the little apartment he had in France but never directed a word to you when you stepped inside the bar.

You were tired of being sat there just watching him, you were glad for Jennifer and the Hernández brothers but you wanted your fiancé to notice you. But you weren't going to beg for that attention.

"Of course, we have that shopping date while they traing" She nods smiling murmuring a good as you grabbed your things

"Home" you replied "I'm a bit tired and Anto seems like he's having the greatest night without me so, I'm not that very much needed I gues"

"Don't say that, he loves you. He's just enjoying his night" You raise your eyebrows "...A lot" you smile shaking your head

"Gotta go, Kyk" You said softly hugging the young captain "See you later" You smiled starting to walk away

You thanked every god you knew, for the fact that you paid attention to Antoine's french classes and you could manage yourself, you took a cab home and started to enjoy your "self-night"

Meanwhile in the party, Antoine was living his best life, he had you, he was happy for his team, he had scored, he was a bit disappointed for the captain theme but he accepted it and came to love it. He couldn't be better. He was chatting with Adrien, Olivier, Varane who came to have a good night with his ex-teammates, Pavard and some girls that made their way into the men's circle.

Antoine didn't know exactly how or when the guys left him all alone with those girls, but he knew there have been a long while since that happened.

His eyes looked around the whole place but still didn't find your face and when he gave a third look around and still didn't see you, he stopped his chatting

"Yes, thank you girls, if you excuse me I gotta go" He heard them whine but he gently smiled at them and left, eyes dancing around looking for someone familiar when he saw Kylian

"Hey, Kyky!"

"Grizou!" The youngest said with a small smile on

"Where's Y/N?"

"She left, man" Antoine's face fell at Kylian's words

"What?"

"Yeah, man. She was tired of watching you live the night as she was kind of displaced... I mean" Kylian laughed a little shaking his head "If I was her I would totally felt that way too"

Antoine felt his heart fall and his throat dry, he started shaking his head "I gotta go, man" Kylian nodded understanding him

"See ya later, bro" Kylian smiled lightly as Anto nodded and left waving goodbye at everyone who was close to him

Antoine mind was racing, he knows you hate being left alone in crowdy places and what did he do? Left you alone, ignoring you ever since you guys came into the party

"Merci" He said to the driver pushing an amount of money into the man's hand

Antoine picked the steps up and went inside the house, he didn't know what to say, what to do or how to act. He didn't had a justification more than the fact he loved the attention he had been getting all of these days.

He had fucked up.

"Chérie?" He asked reciving nothing, he sighed taking off his shoes and going deeper into the house.

He found you sat on the couch, watching something on the TV and eating a whole ice cream pot.

"Darling" He said only winning a look from you, a blink and then nothing. Your gaze turned once more to the TV while still eating on the ice cream "Amor" He said sighing "I'm sorry"

Still nothing.

He tried a couple of times more but nothing happened. Antoine sighed, he never liked the silent treatment and much less from your part

Taking advantage your hand left the pot to grab your ice cream and stand away from you knowing you'd instantly react

"Hey, gimme that back!" You said throwing blankets away and going behind him, his hand going up his head with said ice cream pot you were trying to reach "¡Dámelo!"

"Can you first listen to me?"

"Now you wanna talk? Now you wanna spend time with me? Now you wanna recognize my presence? You know what forget it! We have more ice cream in the fridge" You walked over as Antoine still glued himself there, there weren't anymore ice cream

Seconds later you came back "Give it to me"

"We'll talk and I'll give it to you"

"What will you say? I don't care about it, Antoine. I want my damn ice cream and that's all I care about" He gave you puppy eyes as you sighed rolling your eyes "You know what? I'm not hungry anymore" You shook your head turning around to leave but Antoine lefts the pot on the counter and grabs your waist pulling you close to him "Let me go"

"Please, just hear me out"

"Let me go, Antoine" You asked trying to get out of his grasp "I really don't want to talk to you, right now"

"Please, I don't want us to go angry to bed, we never have and this won't be the first time" Hearing those words and knowing he wasn't going to let you go, you stopped fighting

"I love you and I'm truly sorry because of what I did. I don't have a good reason more than the attention I was having got up to me and I forgot to give my biggest supporter all of mine" He whispered against your cheek as you let yourself go into him "I'm sorry, I know you don't like being left all alone and that's exactly what I did, I took you for granted today but just know that I won't do it ever again, I'm truly sorry" He kissed your cheek repeatedly

"There's not another girl in mind for me than you, I love you and I'm sorry" His arms around you tightened "Please, let me make it up to you" You turned around in his arms smiling softly

You looked into his bright blue eyes and softly nodded "You better have a good way of doing so, Mr. Griezmann" He smiled

"I do" He nodded "Believe me I really do" He smiled "We're first going to eat this" He grabbed the ice cream ", watch that" With his lips he signaled the TV "and lastly we'll go to the bedroom"

"Why don't we skip the first two? We can do them later" Antoine smiled leaning down to kiss you, he spoke on top of your lips

"Whatever you'd want, chérie"

Okay, this is real. I would like to add that in addition to the high expectations that people create around them, there is the fact that people are conditioned to hate everything. Nothing will ever be enough and the proof of this is that WAGs who have a busy career are criticized for "seeming to not prioritize their relationships". People will always find a reason to hate. //
