Self indulgent personal project... I love Jellycat Callie Cow and Carey Calf. I knew they came in Small and Medium and always dreamed of a Large, but they never made one, so I took matters into my own hands...

I've never tried to copy the pattern of an existing plush before, and I did this by eye rather than taking a Callie apart to get a true accurate pattern, but I'm pleased with how my Large Copy Cow came out! Don't worry I'm not planning on selling Copy Cows, this is a strictly personal project.

I recently have been experimenting with heat transfer vinyl and a heat press, I have this "puffy" vinyl which makes perfect cow nose texture!

Medium and Small Callie Cow by Jellycat

Medium Callie cow was bought from Strawberry Fields farm shop, Devon, in June 2021. She has been my emotional support plush ever since and is a little matted from love.

I can't remember when or where I got small Callie cow!

hi!! i’ve sent in my collection before but it’s grown quite a lot recently so i thought i’d take an updated picture and send it again!! i now have 22 jellycats - callie cow was my first, and rolie polie anteater & wilf wolf are my most recent!! i’m hoping to add maybe some riverside ramblers or a tumbletuft cow to my collection next :)

I see you and I have similar tastes in Jellycats and that you also have a lot of the Snuglets! (Barnaby Pup, Beckett Fox, Brooklyn Hippo and Billie Giraffe) To anyone who does not own one of these yet, I highly encourage you to get one. Also, oh my god, I just noticed you have a Fuddlewuddle Giraffe there too, I'm still dreaming of one day owning one... Your rainbow flag did not go unnoticed either, this photo brightened my day, thank you! 💕🌈

I somehow was lucky enough to find a small Callie Cow for sale in a small online shop and the package has been out for delivery since 6am today. I am trying to be patient but I am almost vibrating with excitement!! Callie is my absolute favorite Jellycat and while I love the medium I have I also wanted to have the smaller size too. 

I will post pics once she is here!

Here's a caramel cow I made, originally for myself but I ended up not "vibing" with her as much as I'd hoped.

She was inspired by Jellycat’s Callie Cow (but the pattern was not directly traced from this plush, but it was used as reference).

hi!! just thought i’d pop in and show off my jellycat collection so far - my first ever was callie cow, and my most recent was joey giraffe! i usually get mine either in person at stores or secondhand off of ebay (mainly when i’m looking for retired versions!) and i think my favorites so far have been the tumblie sheepdog and the fuddlewuddle hippo!! i love how cute both the designs are plus how soft they are. i’m also hoping to add grizzo gremlin or tumbletuft cow to my collection next!

Thank you so much for sharing your Jellycat collection with me! This actually looks very much like my own collection and I love every single one you have. I am insanely jealous of your Fuddlewuddle Giraffe to be honest and Barnaby Pup and Brooklyn Hippo are some of my all-time favorites besides the Fuddlewuddles. What a fantastic group of Jellycats! I really hope you can get Grizzo Gremlin soon, he is worth every penny.

A new friend has joined my family! Her name is Mairead and she's a medium Callie Calf by Jellycat. I thought I'd missed my chance to get one when they were retired by Jellycat and I couldn't find any but the wonderful Victor over at @jellycatstuffies (go check them out if you haven't they have a top tier blog and are a brilliant person) was looking to find one a new home so I jumped at the opportunity to adopt them and today they made it to me and she's so lovely and soft!

Tonight she's keeping me company while I play Animal Crossing.

Eeeeeeeee very exciting!
