Jeffrey Dahmer victims
New discoveries about the Dahmer case involving some of his alleged victims. Find out all the information we found on our Reddit and Substack pages.
Stephen Hicks
Jeffrey Dahmer's first victim, Stephen Hicks, was the only true victim, with the rest of the case being a result of unfortunate circumstances rather than Dahmer's intentional violence. Thea death of Hicks might have been an accident, possibly involving a barbell, and Dahmer's parents may have disposed of the body to avoid legal trouble. Additionally, we suspect a person named "Jeff Six" who was Dahmer’s best friend at that time was also involved in the accident. Dahmer, feeling guilty for years, may have eventually confessed out of remorse, with the Hicks incident being the catalyst for everything that followed in the Dahmer case.
Here are the new findings involving Hicks.

https://www.reddit.com/r/TheDahmerCase/s/VFRJ8zwcz5
https://www.reddit.com/r/TheDahmerCase/s/p38zJkKwoc
Steven Tuomi
Steven Tuomi's remains were never found, and Dahmer's confession is the only evidence of his alleged murder. Dahmer was not convicted of Tuomi's murder despite the confession.
Similarly, James Doxtator, Richard Guerrero, Edward Smith, and David Thomas' remains were also never recovered.
The primary "evidence" for these murders comes from Dahmer's own confession, and there is no physical proof of their deaths.
This suggests that, for these specific victims, the case heavily relies on Dahmer's statements, raising questions about the concrete evidence available in these instances.
You can read more on the case on the following links:

James Edward Doxtator
James Doxtator never lived in Milwaukee. He's from Green Bay, WI.
There is nobody named James Edward Doxtator, born 1973, listed in any official source. James Edward Doxtator was born in 1964, in Green Bay, WI.
Find out more about it here:

Richard Guerrero
We found alleged Dahmer victim Richard Guerrero's death certificate on Ancestry.com.
He was born August 1, 1959 in Wisconsin to Pablo Guerrero and Irene Rodriguez.
He died February 3, 1960 in Crystal City, Texas from influenza when he was 6 months old

Raymond Smith
The identification of "Cash D" as Raymond Smith in the Jeffrey Dahmer case seems complex, particularly because the information from Dahmer's confession and the official investigation don’t perfectly align.
Jeffrey Dahmer allegedly referred to one of his victims as "Cash D," but how authorities linked this alias to Raymond Smith specifically is unclear. Dahmer’s confession doesn’t explicitly say he identified Raymond Smith from a photo, leaving some ambiguity about how this connection was made.
Another individual, Mark Lee Brown, apparently matched the description of "Cash D" based on Dahmer’s statements or possibly physical features. However, this identification may have added confusion, as Brown and Smith are different people.
In the police report, someone named Raymond Lamont Smith appears. This person shares the same birth month and day (August 10) as Mark Lee Brown but was born in 1957, whereas Brown was born in 1963. This discrepancy raises questions about potential mix-ups or errors in the investigation, possibly due to shared names or similar details.
Possible Explanations:
- Photo or Visual Identification: It’s possible that the identification of Raymond Smith as "Cash D" may have relied on other witness accounts, circumstantial evidence, or identifying features not explicitly mentioned in Dahmer's confession.
- Mistaken Identity: The confusion between Mark Lee Brown and Raymond Lamont Smith could suggest that authorities initially mixed up the identities based on superficial details, such as birth dates or descriptions.
- Dahmer's Memory: Dahmer’s recollections during his confession may not have been precise, leading to difficulties in aligning the victims with clear identification records.
Without direct evidence, it’s difficult to pinpoint exactly how Raymond Smith was conclusively identified, and the presence of multiple names and birth details only complicates the narrative. It seems that gaps in Dahmer's confession, combined with similarities between individuals, created confusion in the identification process.

Eddie Smith
We couldn't find any official records for an ''Edward Warren Smith'' that matches the description of the "victim''. He's also not listed in the Social Security Death Index (SSDI). However, Ernest Richard Smith is in the SSDI:

Jeffrey Dahmer was a terrifying person and no one should forget that
Because of the Dahmer Netflix series, always more people approached the case and informed themselves by reading books or following old interviews. Jeffrey Dahmer’s figure is been brought back and became subject of discussion worldwide again after 30 years. He became a trend topic but it has also aroused much criticism, especially from the families of the victims.
But Jeffrey Dahmer was different, he was a unique type of serial killer, and this is the reason why he made people feel so fascinated. His crimes were gruesome, horrible and extreme, something that the human mind struggles to understand, yet Jeffrey Dahmer wasn’t a sadistic psychopath and he felt some kind of remorse too. At the end, he also wanted and tried to help victims’ families he felt sorry to. He’s indeed a man who surprised people with his behaviors and so many people came close trying to figure him out. But like a double-edged sword, some people’s response isn't all puppy dogs and rainbows.
Jeffrey Dahmer in 1991 in his first court appearance - via The Milwaukee Journal
People felt close to him, after the news broke out many people find themselves to feel for Jeffrey. It’s not a very big new news, the most infamous serial killers always found out themselves having “groupies” often assisting at their trials, or people writing to them stating how similar they felt. In the worst occasions, it was a case of Hybristophilia.
In modern days the same thing is happening and it’s too easy to forget the man’s abhorrent crimes. Too easily people tend to minimize the eerie of the acts, making appear Jeffrey like a wounded victim as well. Jeffrey suffered for some things too, and had a couple of mental diseases. It was undeniable that he too was a human being and displayed of human emotions. “Humanising” a serial killer is not a bad thing, it makes us realise we don’t have a monster but another person. Defining a criminal “monster” or “devil” only help us to dissociate from him, not considering him “one of us”. It makes us feel safer, having a demoniac entity to point the finger to, but the sad truth criminals are humans as well. Jeffrey was human.
Jeffrey Dahmer during Inside Edition interview with Nancy Glass in 1993.
But in the other side, some people tended to overemphasize the man’s problems too much, and made him become a new victim. But Jeffrey Dahmer was a murder first of all and took the life of 17 innocent people. He was selfish and careless, he saw people as objects for his own sexual purposes and he disposed of them when they were no longer needed.
“Reflecting on the invitation, Jackson remembered how he and Dahmer were outside on the rear landing. Dahmer on the steps going upstairs to the second floor while Jackson was below. Dahmer starred straight ahead, transfixed, never looking at Jackson when he extended the invitation.”
- From ‘Monster The True Story of Jeffrey Dahmer Murders’. Writer Anne E. Schwartz describes the meeting she had with a Oxford Apartments tenant Doug Jackson
Jeffrey Dahmer was aware of what he was doing, and even if he knew it was wrong, he allowed himself to act how he wanted. His modus operandi was the same: inviting the person at home, drugging them, raping them, killing them, using the corpse how he wanted to then disposing the body. Jeffrey Dahmer was responsible for the following crimes:
Serial murder
Rape
Child molestation
Sexual assault
Sexual harassment
Public nudity
Necrophilia
Cannibalism

“Konerak, colloquially known as ‘Khum’ or ‘Kolack’, was a friendly, high-spirited youngster who did not make enemies. The next evening, Saturday, 25 May, he went to a party at Crystal Palace with Laotian friends. On Sunday morning he took a shower at 10 a.m., then went downtown. That was the last time his brother saw him. The brother was called Somsack; for Konerak Sinthasomphone was about to be the second member of this immigrant family to fall into the hands of Jeffrey Dahmer”
- The Shrine Of Jeffrey Dahmer
Jeffrey’s first victim was named Steven Hicks. It was 1978 and Jeffrey was just 18 years old. He found himself alone at home and decided to take a ride with his car. It’s when he met Steven, a hitchhiker, and together reached Dahmer’s house to have some fun. June 18 1978, the last day Steven Hicks was seen alive, his parents were waiting for him to come home to celebrate his dad’s birthday. Dahmer killed him because he didn’t want to let him go, he tried to dispose the body throwing the parts from a ravine he knew but when a police office stopped him he decided to spread the rests on the yard behind his house. After 9 years he tried to behave correctly trying to moderate his impulses, but in September 15, 1987 he fell again and Steven Tuomi, a 24 years old man, became his second victim. Dahmer put him in a suitcase and disposed of the body at the grandma’s house. Following these two killing accidents, many more would follow, and Dahmer would eventually surrender. He gave in to his impulses, making a total of 17 victims, among which two were minors of 14 years old of age. In between of the years before the homicides arrest, Dahmer was arrested for other crimes as indecent exposure, disorderly conduct and sexual assault of a 13 year old boy, Somsak Sinthasomphone. After that he was followed by probation officer Donna Chester, they had to meet twice a week, and even if Dahmer was a cooperative client, he never expressed himself about the crimes he was committing and he didn’t seek for help. He continued to commit his crimes, drugging and raping attractive gay men he found, killing some as well. He kept rests of the victims, reducing what was left to three black garbage bags, and so from a day to another a human being was wiped off the face of the Earth. And more he continued, less careful he became, turning himself into a killing machine. He lost his job, he was going to loose the apartment as well, but he was only interested to follow a sexual pleasure, trying to find more boys to carry home. He wondered around the place unstoppably asking from a man to another to come to his house, when the escape of Tracy Edwards followed and Dahmer was subsequently arrested.
From left to right: Shirley Hughes, mother of Tony Hughes; Catherine Lacy, mother of Oliver Lacy; Dorothy Straughter, mother of Curtis Straughter
“One of his workmates, Richard Burton, was driving with a friend when he saw him standing on a street corner and gave him a ride. Dahmer said he wanted to get out of Wisconsin and go to Florida. Burton wished him luck, and he got out. To his friend, Burton said he thought Jeff had ‘lost it all’ – no job, no friends. A little later he spotted him again talking to a black man at a bus-stop.
On 21 July, after dismembering the body of Joseph Bradehoft, he was wandering around the Grand Avenue Mall where, in two separate incidents, he propositioned Hispanic men with the invitation to earn money by posing for pictures and watching videos. They were Joseph Rosa and Ricardo Ortiz. Both refused.
The events of 22 July depict a mind at once unfocused, listless, and delirious, unhinged. Dahmer got up late, in the midst of his human debris, and went out for a beer. Sopa Princewill accosts him in the corridor with a 40-ounce bottle, and warns him that he may not last until his lease runs out at the end of the month – he may be evicted sooner because his place smelt so awful. He listens, but does not react in any noticeable manner. He goes downtown and is walking along 3rd Street near Wells Street at 2 p.m. when he sees a black man sitting on a sidewalk bench. This is twenty-year-old Ormell Holmes. He asks Holmes if he wants to earn $50. What do I have to do for that? asks Holmes. Pose for pictures and drink some rum. Holmes indicates that he is not interested in that kind of thing, and Dahmer moves on. He approaches another man in the same street, with the same result.
He now goes to his favourite haunt, the Grand Avenue Mall, and has some fast food. He is seen there at 3.30 talking to a man on one of the benches. A little later, he asks a sixteen-year-old black boy called Anderson to come home with him and watch movies, and his offer is again declined. At 4.30 Dennis Campbell, who works at Milwaukee’s famous German restaurant, Karl Ratzch’s, is in the Mall with his girlfriend Julie Weyer, and goes to the men’s room on the first floor. Having urinated, he is drying his hands on a wall dryer when the door opens and a scruffy white man with several days’ growth of beard walks in and stands behind him, then moves beside him. There is no long preparatory choreography. The white man says straight out, ‘Do you want to make fifty dollars real quick?’ ‘Doing what?’ says Campbell. ‘Come to my apartment and watch videos.’ ‘I don’t think so,’ says Campbell, and the man, whom he thought ‘weird, creepy and very unusual’, says, ‘O.K.’ He told Julie about it afterwards and she laughed.”

Have you read...
There are haunted places. Haunted houses. The metropolis of Punktown, on the planet Oasis, is a haunted city. An unassuming and aimless young man has begun to perceive the city's dark tentacles in the lay of the streets. Its roots in the labyrinth of the subways. Its polluted taint in the eyes of the people he knows, and even loves. And this evil is stirring, building toward an apocalyptic culmination. The city is not only haunted - it's perhaps a living thing. MONSTROCITY combines elements of science fiction with horror in the vein of H. P. Lovecraft, taking place in the milieu of Jeffrey Thomas' acclaimed collection, PUNKTOWN - which China Mieville described as "searing and alien and anxious and rich."

Ten Books to Know Me
Rules: 10 books for people to get to know you better, or that you just really like.
Tagged by @broomsticks, thank you so much! 💖 Love that you listed Battle Royale—what a good manga series!
Going a little loosey-goosey on the selections, here.
Batman Annual #2 by Tom King and Lee Weeks I’m not a well-versed capes person, but this always makes me cry.
Blankets by Craig Thompson Beautiful graphic novel about coming of age in the midwestern US.
Bravetart: Iconic American Desserts by Stella Parks It’s a damn good cookbook and a wonderful history of American desserts. Parks’ research and introductions to the foods are as worth reading as the food is worth making.
Cat’s Eye by Margaret Atwood Probably the reason I imprinted on narratives of middle-aged protagonists reflecting on their pasts.
The Fifth Form at St. Dominic’s by Talbot Baines Reed The platonic ideal of my interest in the public school novel.
I Love Dick by Chris Kraus Absolutely perverse recounting of a woman’s sexual obsession with an uninterested man, and I mean that as high praise. Makes the private into the public in a way that seared me.
The Little Schemer by Daniel P. Friedman A textbook written like a children’s picture book, complete with illustrations, about one of the most beautiful programming languages of all time.
Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides A formative exposure to gender identity as changeable and imperfect.
Pond by Claire-Louise Bennett Quiet, mundane, wonderfully descriptive recounting of a life in rural Ireland.
The Sandman (collected series) by Neil Gaiman and various artists Nostalgia in a 10-volume series.
Tagging, if you’re interested! @yletylyf @sproutwings @mademoiselle-red @ralphlanyon @kellychambliss @liesmyth @golden-biro

The Last of Us episode one rewatch
"Cordyceps, aspergillus, any of them could become capable of burrowing into our brains and taking control not of millions of us, but billions of us. billions of puppets with poisoned minds permanently fixed on one unifying goal to spread the infection."
The amount of fear that settled in that room... good god. Like right off the fucking bat tlou starts off really fucking intense. No one wants to hear, "the world is fucked at that point" it's a hard fucking pill to swallow.
"Get your homework done?" I love the look Sarah gives him, "you can hardly take care of yourself and you're asking me about fractions?" LOL.
The slow southern drawl in Pedro's voice is even better when I wear headphones. I'm also secretly admiring his arms... fuck me. And we only get Tommy for barely five minutes and it's so easy to love the man too. It's uncanny how Gabriel Luna sounds so similar to Jeffrey Pierce.
The entire time Sarah has her back turned to the old woman; I'm internally screaming at her to get the fuck outta that house.
"Stay indoors," then Sarah goes outside. Girl, I know like 8 of the Halloween movies have come out, and you dare to venture outside? Then into the Adler's house knowing damn well that Mercy refused to step inside.
"Help me." No, bitch. Run!
Fuck those things coming out of that woman's mouth just get nastier and nastier every time I see it.
You see one of the many things I love about Joel Miller, is that his instinct to survive doesn't gradually happen over time it's an immediate switch. He no longer sees people anymore or has the compassion to even think about helping others. It's all about keeping his family safe. Keeping Sarah safe. He apologized to Sarah for scaring her and didn't even take a second to even feel remorse for killing that Runner, to Sarah it was still a person.
Until Sarah mentioned terrorists, I had forgotten that the series is set two years after 9/11.
Protective Joel pre-outbreak and post-outbreak is just... ugh, it's a sight to see on my screen again.
The first time I watched the runner getting closer to Sarah and Joel, I was too occupied with the stress and knowing that my heart was going to be ripped from my chest to see Sarah die. I can't help but laugh now at the number of times that runner was bumping and tipping over itself. I'm sorry, it's the desperation.
If you think "the government wouldn't ever do that" just know they absolutely fucking would kill anyone they thought might be infected. Even if you weren't.
Literally trying not to cry in a coffee shop right now... the acting from Pedro alone as he pleads for Sarah to stay with him, damn it all to hell. So fucking heartbreaking.
I have a weakness for the salt-and-pepper look on a man, it's fucking sexy. Especially on men like Pedro Pascal and Oscar Isaac.
"Yeah, but what about your guy." That tells you all you need to know about Joel. Man is fucking scary.
"Seven, eight, fuck... you." Ellie my girl, I just love you. Bella is perfect and no one can change my mind about it.
"We are in a war against FEDRA to restore democracy and freedom." I'd believe it if it wasn't for the amount of bullshit spewing from Marlene's mouth. Maybe she believes that... but I sure as fuck don't. I mean it's like she said it's been twenty years, and none of that shit exists anymore. She's trying to rebuild a past that would come at such a high cost. Building that type of society again wouldn't be worth it.
"Kim, you don't have a fuckin' ear on your fuckin' head." LMFAO!!
"What are they capable of?" A lot of terrible shit. Joel also has no problem committing mass murder. I love him and I'm scared of him in equal measure.
The way Pedro sits on the couch with his legs spread like that is seared into my brain. I think about it. A LOT. I'm just:
You can see the exact moment Joel, no longer sees Ellie and is instantly replaced with the memory of Sarah. My man hasn't even gone through the five stages of grief yet and almost ended up in the same situation, in the same episode, with two different children.

The Abduction and Murder of Adam Walsh
On July 27, 1981, six-year-old Adam Walsh was shopping with his mother Reve at Hollywood Mall in Hollywood Florida. The two went to Sears where Reve had intended to inquire about a lamp that was on sale. While she headed over to the lamp department, Adam was left at a kiosk with Atari 2600 video games on display where several other boys were taking turns playing. At 12:15pm Reve had completed her business regarding the lamp and returned to where she had left Adam only to discover that she and the boys were gone. She was then informed by a store manager that a scuffle had occurred regarding whose turn it was to play the game and security had demanded that the boys leave the store. When the guard asked the older boys if their parents were in the mall, they said no. Adam's parents had assumed that their son was too shy to speak up to the security guard and tell him that he was not will the boys, so he left with them. At the time, the parents also thought that the boys left their son by himself when they exited the store. Meanwhile, Reve looked around the toy department and could not find Adam, so she had him paged over the public-address system while she continued to look around the rest of the store. By coincidence, Reve ended up running into her mother-in-law, Jean, who helped her search for him. After more than 90 minutes of searching and failing to locate Adam, Reve called the Hollywood Police at 1:55pm.
On August 10, a severed head was found in a drainage canal alongside the Florida Turnpike near Vero Beach, which was almost 130 miles from Hollywood. The next day, Adam's parents, John and Reve had appeared on national television saying that they hoped that Adam was still alive. However, soon after the recovered remains were identified as Adam's. The coroner ruled the cause of Adam's death as being asphyxiation. The state of the remains also suggested that Adam had died several days before the discovery of his head.
American serial killer, Jeffrey Dahmer was even considered as a suspect at one point as he lived in Miami Beach at the time of the murder. Two eyewitnesses also came forward saying they saw him at the mall the same day Adam was there. One claimed to see a strange man walking in the toy department while the other saw a young, blond man throw a struggling child into a blue van and drive off. When he was interviewed about Adam Walsh in 1992, Dahmer denied his involvement in the crime, stating "I've told you everything- how I killed them, how I cooked them, who I ate. Why wouldn't I tell you if I did it to someone else? When this rumor surfaced, John Walsh came forward saying that he did not see any evidence that linked Dahmer to Adam's abduction and murder.
In 2006, John and Reve Walsh reached out to former Miami Beach homicide detective Joe Matthews, who reopened the cold case. Otis Toole was a convicted serial killer who had confessed to Adam's murder twice but then recanted his confessions. Hollywood Police Detectives were unable to verify Toole's confessions due to a series of errors they made during the investigation. This includes losing the bloody carpet from Toole's car and even the car itself.
98 photos taken by Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigators of Toole's Cadillac were developed and shown was a machete believed to dismember Adam's body. A particular image of the carpet behind the driver’s seat showed the bloody image of a young face. "Looking at it, you actually see a blood transfer from Adam's face onto the carpet," said Matthews.
In 2008, nearly 3 decades after the crime occurred, former Hollywood Police Chief Chad Wagner officially named Otis Toole the killer and apologized for past mistakes.
The death of Adam and his father's work as an activist has helped to put faces on milk cartons, start fingerprinting programs, and increase security at schools and stores.

Eat Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin, which is a rich and savory treat. The bacon makes the outside of the tender pork crispy, making a delicious mix of tastes and textures.
Ingredients: 2 lbs pork tenderloin. 12 slices bacon. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. 1 teaspoon paprika. Salt and black pepper to taste.
Instructions: Turn on the oven and heat it up to 400F 200C. Add salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and paprika to the pork tenderloin. For extra flavor, rub the pork with the minced garlic. Place the bacon slices on a clean surface, making sure they overlap a bit. Put the pork tenderloin that has been seasoned on one end of the bacon slices. Roll the bacon up around the pork, making sure it is tightly wrapped. In a skillet that can go in the oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. The pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon should be seared on all sides until the bacon turns golden brown. Place the skillet in an oven that has already been heated and roast the pork for 20 to 25 minutes, or until it reaches 145F 63C inside. Take it out of the oven and let it cool down for a few minutes before cutting it. Make medallions out of the pork tenderloin that has been wrapped in bacon and serve. As a main dish, the Bacon-Wrapped Pork Tenderloin is juicy and full of flavor. Note: Different foods cook at different rates, so use a meat thermometer to make sure the pork is done the way you like it.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes

Savior - Horrors AU Mini Fic
"Just a few more minutes. Keep your fucking head straight, you just need a few more minutes."
Shanx wheezed in a breath, muscles twitching and chest tight as he staggered and swayed on his feet. His face hurt. His hands hurt. His fucking everything hurt. He eyed the creature in front of him through the blood caked on his lashes, long claws and a naked, malnourished form shining with a sickly pallor as the beast screeched at him. He could hear the people behind him, scrambling to get each other to safety as he held off the creature.
"Breathe, dipshit. Breathe. They're almost out of reach."
The creature charged forth, and Shanx ducked aside, reaching out and grabbing the creature by the shoulder, using its momentum to sling it aside. Now turned around, he spared a glance at the others (new allies, he supposed) as they sprinted off, the dark haired one ushering other Horrors from the now busted Arena along with them, then turned his attention back to the creature. The creature scrambled to its feet (feet? Paws? Claws? Shit, who knows), dark sockets and tiny, beady black eyes locked on Shanx as it regained its footing. It screeched out a loud hiss, murder in its eyes as it darted forward, crashing into Shanx and sending both of them crashing to the floor. Claws tore into cloth and flesh and scraped across bone, blood spraying from vessels and running down Shanx’s arms as a scream ripped from his throat. The creature bit down on his forearm, hot saliva soaking through his sleeve as a growl erupted from its maw.
“Do something! Fight! Run! Fucking move, dumbass, move!”
Spots danced in Shanx’s vision as the pungent taste of smoke burned his tongue, hands involuntarily gripping onto blood-slicked flesh as wave after wave of searing heat coursed through his veins. His ears were ringing, eyes closing, arms locking around the creature in a vice-like grip.
It was getting hotter.
Hotter.
Hotter.
The smell of charring flesh hit him before the faint sound of screaming did (was it his or the creatures?), his head swimming and body going cold.
“...please escape…”
….
"Is he alive?"
Jeff didn't bother to turn around, heaving a sigh as he stared down at the young Horror on the hospital bed. He watched him, eyes following the gentle rise and fall of his chest for several beats before he nodded, casting a glance over his shoulder at his mate.
"Yeah, Jack, he's alive."
The demon blew out a breath, stepping up to stand beside Jeff and watch the body as well. His gaze traveled over the blistered skin and charred muscle, the fibers already starting to reconnect and heal. That was a good sign, at least. He bent and slowly reached down, clawed digits carefully tracing along the repairing flesh.
“He’s healing well. Surprisingly well. He should be alright, but it’d be best to keep a close eye on him.”
“I already planned to.”
EJ nodded, hands carefully lifting and turning the young Horrors arm, looking over the extensive injuries and grimacing as he dug a serrated tooth from the muscle. Jeff winced as blood oozed from the wound the tooth was dug from, watching as it slowly sealed itself up.
“He made sure you got out.”
A nod, then a heavy sigh. EJ watched as Jeff seemed to deflate, shoulders sagging and the circles under his eyes seeming ever so dark.
“Yeah, he did..”
Jeff chuckled bitterly, scratching the corner of his mouth and picking lightly at the scar tissue.
“I don’t even know the kids name.”
“You can ask him when he wakes up.”
“But what if he doesn’t?”
“He will.”
“We don’t know that.”
“I do, Jeff.”
“But-”
“Jeffrey.”
EJ set the young Horrors arm back down, turning his head to give his mate an exasperated stare. After a moment he sighed, standing fully and pulling Jeff close, chest rumbling with a purr. Jeff couldn’t help but to return it, burying his face into the crook of EJ’s neck and silently relishing in the cool touch of his skin.
“He’ll be fine. Stop blaming yourself.”
A sigh, then a nod.
“I know..”
