HEYYYY I wanted to know if you had any hyperpop recommendations? ive been wanting to listen more but dont really know where to start

of course!

among the bigger acts in the scene, i think underscores is an absolute must check out. she’s been a long time fav of mine and her latest album is top tier. jane remover i would also consider to be in her echelon. those two are great entry points i believe!

also have to mention gabby start, dj re:code, jedwill, saoirse dream, alice gas, 99jakes, trndytrndy, elxnce, alexander panos, gupi, and fraxiom. they all range from the sorta core sound to more adjacent stuff. i think they all paint a good picture of at least my corner of the scene (the rabbit hole goes deep LOL so definitely feel free to explore beyond)

in terms of particular songs to start with here are a few!

nothing super particular about these songs i just like them a lot!

p.s. if u haven’t already, i always recommend digging through the pc music back catalogue, and also that label’s more recent releases. they’re shutting down soon, but they’ve left a treasure trove of stuff that builds upon and very much inspired a lot of the work flowing through the scene in the present!
