J for Je Chante, the YoCanto's french version from 2006. Laura is an international star who speaks and sings in five languages. Italian, Spanish and English being the most common ones but occasionally she does release French and Portuguese versions of her songs. Perhaps speaking in French is the most difficult for her out of these five languages. However she makes a constant effort and this was her first solo performance in French when it came out.

Laura’s Io canto / Yo canto/ Je chante was published 11 years ago! Originally Riccardo Cocciante’s song from 1979 was the title track for Laura’s cover album in 2006 and still one of the most loved live numbers.

let me just explain my choice of songs real quick: they're all songs that i can (somewhat) play on an instrument. a thousand miles on the piano, call me maybe on the ukulele, and now we are young on the piano. so basically the first thing i thought for we are young was "toniiiiiiiiiiight, we will runnnnnnnnnnnn" (kinda like how the first thing i thought about for call me maybe was..."kill me maybe" lmfao)
