A few days late and it’s also really short. Here you go though!

Love at first sight? Please.

Such a thing ceases to be in the mind of Jean Kirstein. In fact, he wasn’t sure if he’d ever had that feeling of love before.

He kept telling himself that such a thing can’t exist. Let it fade, let it wither to the land of broken dreams.

The difference from before and now, past and present is that he has never seen anyone so beautiful.

She was above everyone else, a queen surrounded by pawns like himself.

Not even a queen, a goddess.

Her hair, by god it was the most gorgeous thing.

Jean knew he was falling under a spell, a spell he could never break free from. The very idea of love at first sight seemed so vapid to him before. How could one person be so infatuated by another’s appearance?

Shallow, right?

Something inside of him broke free of his preconceptions though. He felt it now, the way she was and how it made him feel.

Calling her attention left him even more stricken. Her eyes were captivating too. Cold, gray eyes that stared right back and left him clawing for any sense of verbal interaction.

What could he say? First impressions are practically everything and he had to leave a good one.

Fumbling for words, he just gave her a measly compliment about her black hair.

Pathetic.

She seemed almost unaware of how captivated he was and it ached him.

“Thanks.”

So simple even but such a clear sign. A clear sign that she would never see his true affections.

It hurt so much but love was a lethal game.

Jeankasa Week 2017: Lake

This is the entire reason I don’t have any other drawings done for this week. I took a long time on this and honestly it was a lot of fun! This is the most complete drawing I’ve done on here to date! I’m really proud of it and I hope you enjoy it too!
