Feeling intimidated by french again
#sigh#i thibk part of it is being in a server with fluently billingual and sometimes trillingual speakers in english and whatnot#so it feels like im doing worse than i actually am#however i did look it up and it turns out that with 1h study a week it takes 10 years to vecome fluent#and 5 years with 2h a week which is about what im doing#ish#so im actually not that behind im just impatient#idk the frenchies say my french is good which is always encouraging#but im still feeling behind#behind who? who knows#i have lethal comanoui with them later this week and im nervous still#i love playing it but its effectively like being a baby simulator lmao#which often dissolves into me just making weird noises or copying them to feel the words in my mouth#je suis un bébé 😔#je ne sais pas c'est intimidant d'apprendre une autre langue.#i want to write more and i want to roleplay more in french#buuuuut that means finding someone to do it with#and i love the frenchies but sometimes im worried that i feel like a baby compared to them#and its not like i can offer any english language classes to them since theyre so good at it#X_X#idk realistically they dont mind and im like 99% sure they enjoy the lethal companoui (not its name)#but its still like. worrying you know#ive had penpals drop in the past so. yeah
