he basically explains in his book how humanity came to be, what humanity has overcome and what we could expect in the future, mostly theories based around history, evolution and economical influences. 

i had a solid existential crisis when he basically said full time happiness isnt achievable, and you shouldn’t want it, because happiness, in nature, would lower your chances of survival

Sadly I am also still watching OMSN and despairing every week. All that wasted potential is killing me :( You are so right about the loose ends! Also how can every episode be so slow it feels like a century and at the same not progress any of the characters/relationships??? At this point it's almost impressive how they even manage to fill the time. I guess 3 more episodes of montages, memories and staring into the middle distance for no damn reason were totally necessary. T_T It makes me sad how disappointed I am with this series.

I agree. I don't think I've ever watched something that had so much dead air lmao I'm skipping through parts of 5-10 minutes with literally no or redundant dialogue. It's bad. And what's worst of all is even though none of the couples are progressing at a reasonable pace, the only couples that do have somewhat of a development are the 2 side couples. Kim and Sun's story is so hollow that it could be told in 10 minutes or less.

Rain and Payu had a good pacing there for a hot second but it all went out the window about halfway through. So now the only ones that have something going are Pie and Petch (or however you spell them) who to be honest, I don't even really know who they are sfdjhkjd. sigh. Let's hold on. We're almost free.
