Oooo, this has so much angst material I can't just leave it alone. Bruce sees Ellie changing between her normal green and white combo to one shockingly familiar. He can't

He just can't

He doesn't see just the kid. He sees his kids, he sees himself. He sees his parents but most of all when he turns to look at this kid hands engulfed in green and eyes set with ablaze with murder

He sees what the joker could have been, and he won't let this happen. He'll find away to save both. Maybe just maybe he can save the man the joker once was.

So bats jump in (got free from bindings cause he's Batman™)

Bats: stop, you can't kill him, you'll be just like him *bat glares hard

This would have the Batfam in a tipsy: even now, after everything. You still want to save him.

Batman: there's another way to save her, let me help you

So let's say for the plot, J!Danny is hella strong almost too strong for Danny, but he is determined, but batsy interferes and he can't continue. He gathers what blood he could and leaves for now

Danny: says something to joker that finally has him frowning like hmmmmm

J!Danny: sorry batsy, I can't play rn, let's have a raincheck * just dips out

This kid needs help, possible adoption. Bleeding green? Lazareth water, is there an alternative way for survival for the girl

He knew about jazz, but all this new information has him clutching his pearls. He goes to talk to her.

Him just standing in a dark corner of her cell waiting for her.

Jazz: tensing, eyes grow cold. I imagine she's either completely silent or saying something along the lines of " I have no brother"

Batman: xx amount of years ago you pleaded for the murder of your parents and attempted to kill you brother. Why

Jazz: I told you I have no brother, you should leave

Batman: I can't leave when a child's life is at risk, you can help me. We can save her, save him. So tell me. What really happened to the joker, to Danny. Your brother

Jazz: *flinch that thing isn't my brother, I ...my brother is long gone, you want help. You want advice. Then do the world a favor. And put him down

Batman: he mentioned you ......he mentioned (insert lore, maybe he talks about jazz a lot in the forced therapy sessions in Arkham) he hasn't forgot, that kid. That kid that you saw the other day....that you remember is still in there, in him. So tell me tell me you don't want him back. Can you say to me. That you don't care even if you could save him. That you don't want Danny back.

Jazz:............ *sad girl, angry

Jazz: cue war flashbacks* get out. She's saying in quite angry before she explodes. Goes crazy in the cell screaming and throwing things

bats leave but the seed has been planted, she does. She does want her brother back, but she doesn't know if he's still in there. She has to put him down, it's her job. Her final act of big sister. She couldn't protect her own brother, but maybe she can protect her other one.

Random DCxDP thought at work:

Joker is attacking a gala where Bruce and his kids can't easily escape. While he's holding them histage, two being suddenly fall from a glowing green portal. One is a boy with black hair and the other is a girl who looks like him except she's melting.

“DANI!” the boy is screaming. “Please… THIS WAS SUPOOSED TO SAVE YOU!” he's yelling and his hands are on the girl’s shoulders.

Everyone is feeling for the kid (well not Joker who is actually blank faced). Must have been a magic thing. Poor kid.

Then though a being appears in a purple cloak.

“It will save her,” the being says. “She needs more of your DNA.”

“She said she doesn't want me to die fully…” the boy replies and everyone is confused. (maybe it's on TV though and some of the JLD know what that means and are trying to do portals but someone is stopping them)

“In this dimension, Danny Fenton’s parents found themselves chemists, interested in trying to prove that ghosts were real that way.” The being said to the boy. “They had a large vat of it that one day broke when their son was cleaning the lab. They found him as he began showing signs of ghost ability. Instead of seeing their son they saw a dead child they could now experiment on. They tortured him for years until he escaped and later found himself in Gotham where he took on the moniker of Red Hood, a small time crook. He was later exposed to more chemicals that morphed him.” the being said. He pointed at the Joker whose face had become very gleeful. “Dani does not want you to die. But what about your insane counterpart whose body count is in the millions?”
