Bae is away so naturally the first thing I do is go into my likes, where there's 10 years worth of little notes like this between us. She's currently visiting her parents, potentially doing something big and scary and wonderful. I wish I was there to make it easier for her, but I'm also so incredibly proud of her for having the bravery to do it alone.

These little breaks she has between projects--where we make messes in the kitchen together, binge-watch Bob's Burgers on repeat when we have a long list of new movies/shows we should be watching, writing until 4am, losing track of time beyond what our muses are doing--mean everything to me. Thank you for the past 10 years. Here's to another decade full of love, laughter, and little surprises (like Cleo, who is not so little anymore).

I know I have next to no followers, but this is for prosperity above all else. We've marked so many important moments in our lives, throughout our relationship, through Tumblr, and I don't want to miss the opportunity to do it now.

The love of my life, my wife, my best friend, is currently filming her second short film (but first in a decade) alongside her best friend/co-director/writer. I was on set with her Monday and Tuesday, watching her spark movie magic for the first time in person, and I'm blown away. Watching her command a set with such ease (partially because she has this amazing, dedicated crew of professionals and friends alongside her who fully agree with her vision, and partially because of her endless passion and commitment to this project) is not only so inspiring, but honestly, fucking hot.

Needless to say, I'm beyond proud of you, my love. I know we're only halfway through Small Talks, but I can't wait to see the next two shooting days in action (I would douse myself in bug spray and stand outside for hours for you, and that's love). Look at everything you've done over the past decade--the connections you've made, the reputation you've earned, the support system you've built. This is only the beginning for SpookyCinema Productions--only the beginning of your rising star. I'm honored to stand beside you and witness it.

Good morning, my love. I am so grateful, so blessed, to have spent the last 10 years watching you grow into the woman you are now. You've changed so much and yet you've never lost that youthfulness that attracted me to you in the first place. You've never let reality dull your shine or disrupt your dreams. Look at how much you've accomplished, how far you've come, the projects you've worked on, the ones ahead. You did that, all on your own, because you're a fucking badass (and you always come right back).
