I forget too, but then I remember and then I get excited because jfc you’ve made him so amazing. They gave us so little and you made him real.

This. is gonna sound very. over confident. But regardless of the times I have,,, so much doubt about everything. The fact I’ve made my particular Nick amazing is not lost on me. So I appreciate that. There is a large part of me that wants to call him an OC. I know I technically can’t, but I want to. so much.

So, I needed a submit because you know me and I can rant for hours, so an ask wasn’t enough for this. My favorite thing about your portrayal? Everything. Every single fucking thing. You took someone we knew so fucking little about, and you gave him… life. You made him real, Holly. You gave him a family, and a past and a personality. He’s traumatized, but strong. Beautiful, and smart, and funny, and broken and just so goddamn physical in the sense that reading your writing… I can see him. I can hear him, and I love it about this. I love that you’re always so thorough with your headcanon for him and the way you love him. So much, the way you pour so much into him and you care about his life, his development. Following you is a goddamn treat. Thank you for loving him, and for giving Nick something more than he was given by the writers. Seriously. Thank you. Because you’re the reason I love Nick so much. Okay? Okay. Love you.

you know I reblogged that with a mindset of, “man just give me an ego boost cause I’m a shit.” and now I’m emOTIONAL??? THANK YOU. I’m always happy to know people think I do a good job making Nick feel. real. It has taken me sO FUCKING LONG for him to get here. He’s changed a bunch over the blogs. Like it might not actually seem like he has, (or maybe it’s 100% noticeable because I do not know. And I tend to not look back at old writing too much because while it shows the progress, I’ve not always been this decent at it and the secondhand embarrassment is so real sometimes.) but he has changed with the years. And every time something comes up I adore him more? And I’m glad it’s noticeable. And I’m glad you love him like I love him. <3
