The hound's teeth is a damitim piece that I've been working on for a while and really struggling with, but honestly I've just been struggling with writing in general recently so that tracks. Anyways, here's a snippet!

As he waits for the roof to go steady, he watches. The line of the hunter’s blade as it slashes. The flash of his eyes as he tracks. The arc of his back as he twists.  He looks like he’s enjoying himself. He’s playing.  Tim shouldn’t find that as endearing as he does. He’s only made it this far in life by grinding out every one of his flaws with singular focus, like he was sharpening one of his blades.  Watching someone drag out a fight like this? It should make him twitchy. It doesn’t, though. Probably because he’s enjoying watching the hunter twist and flip and dodge, the way that every one of his moves is precise enough to let the demon think it has a chance, just so he can shatter that hope. 

jaytimroy daddy kink is exactly what it says on the tin, honestly. the only other things that are relevant to it are breeding kink and trans tim, but yeah. I think JayRoy should have a daddy kink and Roy realizes that Tim is into Jason and wants to invite him in and then they all have a LOVELY time 💚

Three’s Not Always a Crowd Tim Drake/Roy Harper/Jason Todd Explicit Part 2 of Team Red

Someone was taking out gangs in Gotham. Normally, Jason wouldn’t have cared, but whoever was taking them out had started with the gangs in his network. If it had just been one or two he might have let it slide, but by the time he wrapped up his mission with Bizarro and Artemis and the Bow of Ra was destroyed, six of his gangs had been completely wiped off Gotham’s map.

Whoever was doing it wasn’t being subtle, either; they were blowing up warehouses and setting fire to drug supplies. The gang members were showing up zip-tied to precincts all around Gotham with handwritten confessions of crimes they had committed. If Jason wasn’t so mad that he was losing his grip on the city, he would’ve been impressed.

He got back to Gotham at the asscrack of dawn, and instead of going to one of his safe houses, he went straight for the source of destruction. Jason had Bizarro drop him off on the balcony of the penthouse at Wayne Tower where he knew Tim had been living since his most recent fight with the big Bat.

Listen. One of these days I will write them as something else than Oblivious-Idiots-to-Lovers again but you folks really aren’t making it easy for me with these prompts xD

Here’s the thing: Dick knows he’s good with people.

It’s not even because he especially tries to be. Sure, some investigations depend on him being able to charm someone, but all of them can do that. Unlike the others, though, Dick actually likes people. That goes doubly for his own family. Yes, Jason and he had a little bit of a (very, very, very) rocky path in the middle there. However, Tim and he have always been close, and Dick genuinely thinks he knows both of these boys better than anyone else in the family.

(Certainly better than Bruce. Sorry, B, you brought that one on yourself.)

So Dick, he knows how to read these two. Roy, though, he’s—something. Don’t get Dick wrong; he loves the dude (platonically, since that apparently needs to be stated.) Roy’s one of his best friends, has been for years, always will be. And he’s got plenty of leadership qualities, most of the time.

That does not explain how he managed to convince TWO of Dick’s brothers to date him.

“I dunno, dude, you just gotta be patient.” Roy slurps his milkshake. “You know, be around them, appear non-threatening, don’t leave but let them come to you.”

Dick crosses his arms in front of his chest. He’s gonna get to the bottom of this. “Are you talking about my brothers or about two stray cats?”

Roy thinks for a moment. “Both?”

“…okay, fair. Tim I get. Just. How did you get Jason to tolerate you that long in the first place?”

“Oh no, Jason was easy.”

“How?”

Roy shrugs. “He just is?”

Dick waits him out because, no, Jason isn’t.

“Dunno, man, he and I just—we get each other. Found each other at the right time, maybe. So what if he got scared sometimes? So did I. There was never any question about the two of us despite that.”

If Roy says so. “I’m glad it’s like that for you.” Dick is. The smile he gives Roy is all genuine warmth. Just cause he’s confused doesn’t mean he’s not happy for them. “What about Tim? Was he harder to convince?”

“Nah, we just invited him to a date; he said yes, so we wined and dined and flowered him. Eventually, we took him home with us, and yeah.”

Dick takes a second to consider the situation. Does he really want to ask? Does he want to know about what kind of sex his brothers are having? Technically, this is a topic he and Roy talk about. And so have Tim and Dick, in the past. (There was nothing to discuss with Jason, Dick is pretty sure.) But is it different now that he knows every single party involved?

Luckily, Roy is shaking his head. “No need to go all big-brother on me, big bird. I meant he sort of moved in with us.”

“That was quick.”

“All or nothing, bro. All of you have attachment issues.”

“As if you don’t.” Dick finally uncrossed his arms and took a sip of his own milkshake. “Sounds surprisingly ordinary,” he remarked. “I’m glad.”

“Oh, no, months later it turned into a total shitshow for a week because Tim, the great detective that he is, apparently didn’t realize we’re dating.”

“What?”

Dick doesn’t know what he did to earn this family. He really doesn’t.

Writing is definitely not happening the way it usually does for me (and this weekend has been Very Stressful, my cat is really sick and things aren't looking so good, he's not keeping food down at all and hasn't been for about three days and also it's my one year anniversary with my gf today and this has put a bit of a damper on it)

Anyways!! I really just have the plot for it 😂 basic rundown is Bruce finds out about the league bases and gets into a huge argument with Tim which results in the outlaws taking him in during the fallout. JayRoy have been hooking up but they don't know how to address the whole having feelings for each other thing because they both think it's one-sided. Then, of course, Tim comes in and throws a wrench into everything because he starts hooking up with Roy, and then if I say anything else we're wandering into spoilery territory!

I actually haven't written anything for that pairing yet/at all BUT my girlfriend has been begging for it (literally even was like 'you can give it to me as a birthday or a hannukah gift!! 😂) BUT I have written fics with Roy in them! I'm starting to get more comfortable writing him now.

Here's what he's in!

Roy is in Rooftops & Bookshops, but not very much. He's pretty much only in a short scene in chapters 9 and 12 each, other than a few background mentions along the way.

He's also in Pieces of Me (Pieces of You), and he's in two of the three chapters and plays a significant role in the plot

He's in Non-Refundable Plans, but he really only has a few lines (it's a one shot anyways), this is the one he's in the least by far

BUT he is in Know Yourself a significant amount! Every chapter, plenty of lines, scenes alone with Jason, scenes alone with Tim! This fic is ongoing but is NOT abandoned!! I'm struggling with it a bit right now but I am actively working on it. If you want to see how I write Roy or want to read something I wrote that has Roy in it, this is definitely my top recommendation for that!

I did it! I finished chapter 4! It started to feel very crammed by the end, and Jason probably comes off as super confusing. That's because he is confused, and the king of lying to himself.

I'm not a huge fan of JayTimRoy. I know Roy better through preFlashpoint canon where he's best friends with Dick, so that colors my perception in terms of the ship.

Sick/injured fic and Everybody Knows/Mistaken for a couple.

It comes as no surprise that when Tim gets sick, he gets sick. Overwork and little sleep has given his already compromised immune system little to work with, so he falls hard.

In this case, literally.

It's only due to Jason riding his ass to go home and go to bed that Tim doesn't become street pizza. He swings in for the catch, Tim utterly limp in his arm. When he reaches the roof, he finds Tim is completely out cold.

"Dammit." Jason calls it in and Alfred answers the comm, telling Jason that Tim can't be brought to the manor because Damian has been exposed to strep at school.

So Jason hauls Tim back to his place because if he's stuck playing babysitter to a sick bird, he's going to be comfortable.

The thing is, he forgets to turn off the comm. So the family are treated to all of Jason's colorful commentary about Tim's state and being the only one to take care of his sick ass.

It provides much entertainment.

So of course, the next time Tim gets sick, Jason ends up taking care of him again. "Don't you look a sight, baby bird? Lean on me, I got ya."

The attitude is surprisingly different.

As is the next time, and the next. Tim gets sick way too often for this to be coincidence. Jason sounds almost... tender? Loving?

"Bet you a hundred bucks they're dating."

"You're on."

They're not dating.

But when Jason breaks his leg, he wakes up in the med bay of Tim's Nest, all splinted up with the bone set. "What are you doing?"

"Returning the favor."

"You really don't have to."

"I know. But I want to." There's a quiet earnestness in Tim's eyes that Jason can't miss, even under the fog of the pain meds.

So he allows Tim to take care of him. Jason stays the full eight weeks the cast is on. He's got books and clothes in Tim's apartment--he even had Tim go and rescue the little kitchen window herb garden he kept because he needs something living in his life.

"They're so dating."

"They haven't said anything yet."

"Do you think they'll actually tell us?"

Bruce, in his infinite wisdom, decides to observe Jason and Tim together. After a week, he comes to one conclusion.

They're dating.

So he tries to do the right thing and be supportive. That afternoon, he stops by and brings them ice cream in their respective favorite flavors.

"What's this for?"

"Congratulations."

"For what?"

Bruce tries not to grimace. Emotions are hard. "On overcoming your differences and finding happiness with each other."

Jason and Tim share a look. "...happiness... oh my god, he thinks we're dating."

Tim about falls over from laughing so hard while Jason just gapes.

Bruce is confused. "You're not dating?"

"No." "Nope."

Then Jason gives Tim and his everything an assessing eye, looking at him in a new light. He'd never thought about it before. Tim was just Tim. To his surprise, Tim was returning the look with one of his own.

"Wanna give it a try?"

"Why not?"

They look to Bruce. "Okay, we're dating now."
