After 4 and a half hours of Gambit and a full reset later, we went to the Tower to mess around for another hour and a half. All screenshots from @thejabberwocki who is the catboy Hunter in the middle. Nora the Warlock is from @jaykayarts and I'm the Titan.

He was determined to annoy Nora who was very disapproving of this nonsense in public. They had a long conversation or perhaps an argument.

Altar of Reflection missions are boggling my mind and by talking to various people, it seems that there are MANY voice lines from Savathun and they're ALL contradictory.

Sometimes you will get a line where she is seemingly admitting which one of the lines was the truth, for example this one where she says that "The Witness birthed the Darkness" was the truth.

However, in another possible option, she says that "The Witness is the child of Darkness."

And in another, she says the following:

She is STILL LYING. She is still being deceptive and contradictory and deliberately confusing. And this is just about the Witness and there could be more that we haven't heard yet. I literally never would've noticed if not for like 10 people in discord discussing the lines they got and they're all different.

Posting this because it's highly likely that she will do the same thing about other truths/lies. So in case you get a line where she's saying some wild shit, DO NOT immediately believe it. It appears to be some sort of a puzzle to solve, or merely just to frustrate us so we rez her and ask her (I will do this, Bungie, istg).

This is also of interest to me because I am still more on the side of believing that Witness and Winnower are not the same thing so when I heard the first option where Savathun seemingly confirms they are by saying "The Witness birthed the Darkness" and says that's the true option, I was very excited for a confirmation of either option. But then immediately after I was informed of two other options which contradict that.

What is going on.

Had a fun time testing out loadouts for GM Birthplace of the Vile with @jaykayarts and @thejabberwocki (who was once again our photographer after we returned to the Tower, defeated. We got close tho).

There was some serious beef between Nora, who doesn't like listening to a purple Hunter crying all night on coms about loving baby screebs or being killed by them, and the said purple Hunter. All I have to say for myself is that I have never in my life killed anyone with a screeb. Prommy.

I didn't ramble about the new interactive trailer enough and there's critically important stuff in there (aka I just like the way they look).

What a boy! Love the eldritch look with so many eyes (also please let me know what to tag this with if it makes anyone uncomfortable because it looks pretty freaky). Triangle in the central eye! Pyramid ship behind the worm!

And despite my discord gaslighting me, I do think the individual in the lower left corner is a guardian holding a weapon, and not Krill or Hive. With the help of @jaykayarts the only one who agreed with me, lining up the weapon:

Wouldn't be a ramble about this trailer without highlighting Fundament stuff and baby Savathun (holding the og bastard worm)!

And a really cool concept, Deepsight, which is apparently a Darkness power! Darkness tempting us once again and helping (?) against Savathun?

A lot of focus on worms and Fundament means we can expect more Fundament lore, hopefully. And more about worms and worm gods! Literally please give this to me Bungie.

Interesting to see the Darkness involved with "helping" us through Sav's throne world, though I doubt the motive is selfless. Wonder what kind of a mission will it be to earn Deepsight. Hopefully something with more Darkness and pyramid lore :)
