Okay so I was thinkin’ I made this post the other day, I’ll share some snipit’s I have from some of my wips 👀 let me know if any spark intrigue

“What’s with this?!” Luke seemed outraged seeing how Julie’s school decided to decorate for the holiday, particularly the white cutouts of ghosts stringed from the ceiling. Julie rolled her eyes as she put her binders in her locker.

“Oh stop.”

“Do people really think ghosts are a big white sheets with faces that haunt people?”

“Well what did you think ghosts used to be?”

“Touché.”

Julie’s head turned from her locker when she heard Carrie talking and promoting the flyers she was passing out.

“Another Dirty Candi performance?” Luke asked seeing what Julie saw.

“No.” She shook her head. “For a party.” She remembered from their passed friendship that might be repairing itself. She turned back to her locker to grab her belongings.

“Incoming.” She heard Luke warn before hearing him poof out.

She heard a “Jules” that caused her to turn.

“Sorry, not there yet?” Carrie apologized for the nicknames not being on the table yet. “It’s fine, I completely understand. But if…” she took a breath, realizing how weird it felt to talk to her after a year of the friendship falling out, “If… you aren’t busy the 30th you’re invited.

She furrowed her brows. “Not the 31st like normal?”

“It’s on a Saturday this year, I figured a Friday night might work better than that way people are free on the actual holiday.” She explained.

“Thanks Carrie.” She took the flyer that Carrie had in her hand for her, “I’ll… consider it.”

She nodded as a way of being passive with her and continued to hand out the flyers to any passerbyers. At least she was giving the rekindled friendship a chance.

This one is simply, “Luke Parent House”

Luke’s at his parents (one of the many times while Julie’s at school), ever since Julie gave them Unsaid things have felt weird, Luke shows them great

Ghosts paid visits to places of their past right? Yeah, that made sense. So paying visits at your estranged parent’s house was normal.

He knew that Reggie and Alex probably definitely didn’t visit theirs. They wouldn’t even know where to look for them for starters, aside from everything else between the two’s situations. It was nice though that they had someone in the present who they could hang out with in their free time. Luke might have been the only one out of them who was living in the past.

Maybe he was trying to make up for the past 25 years. It was nice sometimes to just talk while visiting them. He knew they couldn’t hear him but they did look, especially more so now, relaxed. He couldn’t do a lot besides watch and observe them’

They hadn’t changed. His father still read whenever he could and his mother would keep up her knitting hobby. It was a comforting feeling. It was nice too to see that ‘Unsaid Emily’ was on the coffee table. Whenever she would switch yarn, it would be in her eye sight. Mitch would occasionally pick it up from the coffee table and look it. At least that wasn’t a song that Trevor took.

“Do you think there are others?”

She looked up from her knitting. “Hm?” She noticed what he was looking at. “Maybe. Especially since that girl has the garage the band was in now.”

Luke answered from the top of the couch he was sitting and observing from. “Tons of them. Most with that girl.”

“Maybe if she finds more, we’ll hear about it. Julie? She said her name was.”

This one is just “Reggie’s Hotdog”

So much time had passed... thinking about it too much gave him a headache. So much had changed too. Their families had all probably moved on. 25 years of time had been lost to them. Stuck inside a room only to fall onto the floor of a garage an hour later. They were only hours away from “becoming legends” as Luke put it. But that was cut short when they ate those bad street dogs. Maybe they could still be legends, with Julie. They get to play at the Orpheum with her. Julie was pretty great. It was no wonder what Luke saw in-

Reggie was pulled from his thoughts when he heard a noise. High pitched scampers. He turned around and saw a brown puppy playing with a stick. The passerby’s clearly did not see the dog since no one had stopped to pet the puppy. He thought they were too entranced by their phones except when a mother walking with her children walked through the puppy.

Favorite Holidays: Christmas and New Years i love how crazy people go about decorations and seems like there's no end to imagination. Also it's that time of the year i have the most delicious food and share quality time with my family. And New Years's so special bc i get to celebrate with friends and usually the parties are lit.

Last Meal: A strawberry delight crepe as a 'well done' gift from me to me or not dying during my exams and finishing them all, yayyy

Current Favorite Musician: i always find it hard to just mention one, so here goes my top three rn: coco jones, the maine and rbd (latin pop band).

Last Music Listened To: back to life by lawson. this one scratches my brain like no other.

Last Movie Watched: me and one of my closest friends do this list of christmas movies every year bc we love christmas movies, no matter how awful and cringe they are. last night i watched 'exmas' with leighton meester and robbie amell and i was surprised that it wasn't the worst, so it's a win in my book.

Last TV Show Watched: it was this week's episode of fellow travelers. jonathan bailey and matt bomer are breaking my heart in a million little pieces, but i think it worth it?? it's so so so sad and tragic but they do such a great job portraying hawk and skippy's story.

Last Book/Fic Finished: i wanted distract myself from my daily problems so i reread 'remember me, remebering you' by amiera_saphire on ao3 last weekend.

Last Book/Fic Abandoned: i prefer the term 'hiatus'. i have a jatp fic that i never really finished and the thought of it hunts me.

Currently Reading: a very boring article on managerial finance i have to write on by friday (my last assignment of the year, yay!). i hated it, so i came here to get enough endorfins to go back to it.

Last Thing Researched for Art/Writing/Hyperfixation: ships in the 1800's, also dresses of that time period so i can better my shitty description in my period fic. i only had an idea and a dream on that one.

Favorite Online Fandom Memory: uhh i think it was back in the cursed years (2020, eww) and after i watched julie and the phantoms i found some really good people here and on twitter. our day consisted in checking every news outlet about the show and pics, videos about them. also the fics were so incredibly good!! those were fun times.

Favorite Old Fandom You Wish Would Drag You Back In/Have A Resurgence: arrowverse when it was good, maybe? idk but olicity had a choke on me in a concerning way. but then it went bad, so bad, and i suffered through until arrow ended and stopped watching the shows.

Favorite Thing You Enjoy That Never Had an Active or Big "Fandom" but You Wish It Did: felicity. it's mainly bc it's such an old show and bc of that, no one is really talking about it anymore, but it was my shit when i 'discovered' back in college.

Tempting Project You're Trying to Rein In/Don't Have Time For: i'll quote @cruciomione about the multi chapter fics, i feel you! one shots are better for me bc i can just write my idea down.

i've been working on a multi chapter about a second chance/lovers-to-strangers-to-lovers. i love the angst i have panned out in my head lol maybe during the break it could revisit it.

Oooo okay anon, thanks for the ask! I'm fairly new to DnD but I shall do my best!

Julie is an eladrin(elvish) wizard(she prefers sorceress though), well known throughout the land for her skills in communing with the dead. Everyone knows her by that reputation, so they visit her tower expecting lots of gothic art and black, only to be surprised by all the plants growing around the space and how light and free the space feels. Her secret to connecting with the dead is to offer them a taste of life through her space and powerful aura.

Luke is a human bard, because of course he is. He met Julie while on a personal quest to 'find his soul' or something like that. After finishing the quest and gaining a new, magical lute, he couldn't get the bright, lively necromancer off his mind, so he went back. They became fast friends and make music together. And Luke maybe writes a lot of songs about Julie(hey he's a bard, it's his duty to praise those around him).

Reggie is a half-elf ranger. Like Luke, he first met Julie while on an adventure. He was assisting another party at the time. But they didn't appreciate his help and expertise and cast him off as soon as he was no longer of use. Alone and wounded, he found his way back to the only sanctuary he'd found on the journey: A tower that balanced between life and death. Julie nursed him back to health and they two became close during his recovery. He still adventures a lot, he's got a fair amount of wanderlust, but the tower and those who live there have become his home.

Alex and Willie found the tower while fleeing a mob that was determined to destroy their 'abominable' union. To be fair, an elven druid and a changeling rogue aren't exactly a common combination. However, the two cared deeply for each other and were willing to risk the wrath of their families to be together. Julie granted them shelter and sent their pursuers off in the wrong direction. The two stayed in the tower for a few weeks, then began constructing their own home nearby. They have a little cottage just a few minutes away from Julie's tower. They also adopted a baby griffin they found. It was hurt and alone, what else were they supposed to do?

Flynn is a human artificer who befriended Julie before she moved out into the middle of the woods. She comes by regularly to swap stories and hang out with her best friend. She is endlessly amused by all the strays Julie keeps collecting. But also she and Willie get along really well, and he starts teaching her some fancy combat stuff. It's not uncommon to come into Julie's clearing to see the pair of them sparring in the open space. Often Julie and Alex are in the garden nearby, working on the plants and chatting and watching them.

This was so fun!!! I'm way too invested in this AU now. I hope that was what you wanted, I... have no idea.

the rotten four bc any way you break it down it's fascinating whether you ship them together (i do) or not (i also don't). i am full of many layers, much like an onion. particular huge shoutout to jal (i have many thoughts about jal both platonically and romantically and if i wrote them all out it would be an entire essay).

mack/lela!!! bc like. mack thinks lela is so Like That(tm) but then realizes lela is like, an actualized person! who is her own actual person! and lela realizes that about herself too!!!

cyd/shelby bc they're just sOOOOOOOOO. i cannot express how i feel about them in words. or gifs bc i can't find an hq download. what if we had the power to time travel while we were touching each other and thinking about another time but also we were both girls 👉👈🥺

barry/naldo bc like. barry knows about science and other traditionally "smart" things but naldo knows about people and they complete each other.

amy and jake from villains of valley view bc they love each other SO much but they're also siblings who sometimes want to kill each other.

harry/uma bc like. they had the MOST chemistry. and i think that's compelling. he would do anything for her and tell me that's not the most romantic thing a man has ever done on the disney channel. big gomez addams “i would die for her. i would kill for her. either way what bliss” energy of him.

audrey and jay but specifically the version of them that i made up in my head that's like ‘we made out a few times at parties but now we're besties about it’. lesbian and her emotional support himbo energy (jay isn't a himbo but that's the best way i can think of to simplify that dynamic)

not supported in canon at all i believe but everything natasha does with nate and mitchie in her camp rock fics fascinates and compels me. i need to watch camp rock again and it's all bc of their fics

the hero/villain kid pairings in descendants. not even as ships i just think i want all of them to meet and talk it out. god i think about that fic i did of amber and carlos SO much and the wip one of melody and uma. curses and hexes on disney for giving uma a sibling and killing her only child complex that i write her with 💔😔

I love how committed you are to them. It's inspiring!

So, it just occurred to me that Carrie explaining Julie and her ‘hologram band’ to her dad in 1x09, pretty clearly for the first time, means:

He didn’t go to Eats ‘n Beats, which, I guess I knew, but it just kind of hit home that he should’ve been there to be supportive.  But at the very least, wouldn’t you have told your dad about it later?

She also didn’t tell him about being “upstaged” at the spirit rally.

She didn’t tell him where she was going when she went to Julie’s garage party.

She didn’t explain in any detail when she came home with a bunch of kids to throw an impromptu party the night of the dance.

So Carrie doesn’t go to her dad when she’s upset, doesn’t vent to him, and doesn’t even ask him for professional advice.  Like, does he have any idea what’s going on in her life?  Does he even care?  It’s just sad.

idk if this really counts as media but half alive and tessa violet are going on tour in the spring and i am SO HYPE. and ofc tua s4 but idek when that's coming out. i'm also watching the new dimension 20 season, and it seems really cool so far! other than that i'm honestly blanking on upcoming media 😬 idk i just find new shows when ppl start talking about it on my dash lmao. oh, i guess these already came out, but i'm excited to watched wednesday and glass onion once the semester's over and i actually have time to lol, i keep hearing great things

“Revenge party” from Mean Girls Jatp styled

I accept requests!!

This song is the beginning of Julie , Flynn , and Alex’s evil plan to take down Carrie Wilson —they’re seeking revenge for Carrie stabbing Julie in the back by winning Nick back over, instead of “talking to him” for Julie , as she’d promised she would.

The song journeys through various points of the plan which are covered in the movie, such as causing Carrie to gain weight and creating a rift between her and Kayla. The song also details a growing closeness between Julie and her new best friends.

Thinking about how Willie tells Alex that if he didn't have guests he'd skate down the railing in the HGC and wondering if he just said that to impress a pretty boy or if he regularly skates around the club because imagine the absolute chaos he could cause with that

it just registered that the last time Luke saw his parents when he ran out, they were in their late 30s-40s. Then he dies, is back on earth and goes to see them...only to see how much they’ve aged. It’s one thing to watch your parents get older but imagine the pain of not seeing them for months, only to see them age 25 years?
