For those of you who can’t look past the age gap between Josie and Jade. I don’t recall hearing any complaints about Stefan/Elena, Damon/Elena, Klaus/Caroline, Anna/Jermey, Rebekah/Matt, ect. Who correct me if I’m wrong, have a much bigger age gap than a 26 and 16 year old.

“Yeah, but those other pairings didn’t know the other when they were young.”

Have you forgotten about Rebekah/Marcel? Who as a boy literally admitted that he wanted to be with her. She sparred with him/spent a lot of time around him, and they were endgame. Whereas, Josie had a simple crush on an older girl, who considered her nothing more than Mr. Saltzman’s other daughter. We’ve literally only seen them interact when Jade needed Josie’s help in siphoning a spell.
