A question I have been asked on here is...

"Where do you get your CDs from?" This is because (and I'm sure you noticed) it seems like almost every time we turn around I got a CD coming in for the collection I got which is almost one entire tower now! I figured that since I get this question a lot I would do my best to answer said question and explain why I use those places. The first is Amazon and in most cases its the "Third Party" sellers (a.k.a. Marketplace) where I get them.  IF I can get them from Amazon directly I do because of the fact that when you order over $35 you get free shipping.  I might be doing THAT when all the new stuff comes out for KAMIJO because of how quickly its gonna be turned around. There are some "Go to" vendors I seek out on the Marketplace though so I figured I would give you the names of those places to check out JAPANWORLD(formerly CDBANQ) is a really good vendor based out of Taiwan.  Its actually where I just got my Tetsuya Kuroko single from today and SOMETIMES they will give you the tracking number to keep tabs on it from Taiwan.  I actually have found that mail site to be a bit more reliable than the Japan Post site. samurai_media_JPN4US (They apparently have vendors set up elsewhere if you live in other countries) is another really good vendor.  I think I have gotten a lot of the things from them (as well as JAPANWORLD and other vendors) well before the "delivery window" started.  If I had to give ONE store from Amazon that I would recommend these people are definitely quality people and need to be looked up when you get a moment high rpm sound is one I just recently discovered when I was looking for "Classical Element" from JUPITER AND was the vendor that I got the MidoKuro duet from...oh it was also the vendor that beat JAPANWORLD here by a day as the Mido/Kuro single got here yesterday so...yeah.  I would definitely check these folks out if you get a minute Oh and I almost forgot when it comes to JAPANWORLD occasionally they will e-mail you about your order after you place it with them from Amazon.  That is another really nice thing about that vendor. I WOULD recommend moviemars_CD...but I can't!  Reason is that, while I have gotten my stuff on time usually, the vendor as of late has been later and later with getting things shipped out to the point where the packages were getting later and later.  Its a shame cos its one of the few domestic stores (and also "close" as its in NC here in the states) but....yeah Now if for some reason I can't find a CD from there then we go to my Ladies and Gents over at CDJapan.  The reason why I tend to use them more as a last resort now is the shipping (but this is what happens when you use FIP all the time).  I have almost always found the CD I was looking for on that site without an issue.  One of the other reasons I go to Amazon now is because a lot of the CDs that CDJapan has as "out of print" are CDs that I can find through the Amazon marketplace ("Strawberry Butterfly" be damned and I mean the CD NOT Rui) which is always a good thing.  I think I'm going to try (again) this weekend to bust out one of the New Sodmy CDs that I wanna get from there so we'll see what happens with that. So there my friends is pretty much where and who I get my CDs from for the most part.  As the list grows I might do another post about this but for now those are my "usual suspects" when I pick up my CDs and from now on (the last photo notwithstanding) I'm going to make sure to put in the caption where I got it from and the tags so this way you know and I will make sure to link their storefronts for you to check out.
